Tucked away in the shadow ofBelmont University is one of the most charming donut shops Ive ever been. But you spent $46 on a halfdozen donuts, a cup of donutholes, and 2 drinks!Id do it again. And probably will on my way back to KCMO one week from today. My personal favorites although they all looked delicious!3rd place - The Purist, Vanilla2nd place - Maple1 st place - BlackBerry Basil
I dont even know why they call this a donut other than having a hole in the middle that is the last resemblance to this incredibly wonderful pastry and a donut make sure you get the King Kong simply the Best pastry Ive had in some time.
Bought two donuts… a Purist and a Mini Chocolate Sprinkles for a total of $7.41 on October 26th at 4:30. All the donuts looked absolutely beautiful and delicious. Both donuts we bought were so hard we could barely cut them in half. I asked the young lady behind the counter if she cold cut them in half with a knife for hubby and I to share and she responded… “ We don’t do that.” The place was totally empty so zero customers were behind me waiting to order. Next time, I’m going to Dunkin Donuts for half a dozen pink sprinkles donuts that melt in your mouth for less than $6.00.
I would drive out of my way to get these donuts again. I consider myself a self proclaimed donut judge and Ive never tasted better. Theyre the mix between the croissant and donut kind, but they top all others created with their 100+ layers, fillings and/or toppings. You will not be disappointed.
Delicious and gigantic croissant doughnuts!!!! Super friendly staff and local owned! 10/10 will recommend.
Absolutely wonderful gourmet donuts! Love their croissant dough used to make them. Couldnt choose just one so got one of each of the regular sized flavors to try. Staff was super friendly and patient for a newbie customer! I HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a bite while checking out the shops in the Factory at Franklin!
It was great. Saw them on the Food network. Had the 100 layer vanilla cream.
Mmm Soo good!! I loved it. I will be coming back
Both my sister, her two kids (all of us poc) and I went here to get brunch and were treated horribly. The woman in front of us (white) and her kids were treated nicely and the cashier even offered her kids stickers. When it was our turn in line the cashier automatically acted like they didnt see us and trued to walk away. When they did get out order we were met with attitude and they acted like they didnt want to be anymore. When my sister couldn’t pronounce a drink on the menu the cashier made it seem like it was her goal to say it over and over again till my sister got it. After we got done ordering the person behind us (white) was treated differently and the cashier was happy to serve them. We’ve heard good things about this place but safe to say we won’t be going back again.
I am well aware that this is The place to go for baked goods but so far every time its been dry and almost stale tasting. The last time I was there they had a nice couple of flies enjoying the doughnuts behind the counter. They tossed the one we saw it on but how many were effected Im unsure. Not somewhere I would go out of my way to visit.
1st time there.. Great little place. The cronuts where excellent. We live in Michigan so next time in Nashville we will stop again.
Friendly staff and delicious donuts. You cant go wrong with Five Daughters. Best donuts ever!
Vanilla creme 100 layer doughnut!!! If you dont love it you dont have taste buds.
Not as good as I was expecting. Donuts were dry. They look better then how they taste.
I’ve had a vegan donuts from many places and they are more like cake and just okay.. Their vegan donuts were beyond good they were absolutely AMAZING! They actually taste like donuts!! So flavorful, I regret not buying every flavor they had.
Tasty treats. Love the cronuts.
What an amazing bakery with ridiculously delicious pastry! Especially the donut/cronuts are delectable and the avocado toast with kale was amazing. The lines are long, but its well worth it. You can smell the butter wafting out of the bakery which tells toy this place is just yummy! Cant wait to go back with my next visit to the Nashville area.
Oh my gooooosh.. Wow, wow, wow!I thought these were donuts. They arent! They are actually an amazingly light and rich multi-layered french pastry in the shape of donut! Crazy tasty. I guess that is why they call them 100 layer donuts. If these little hubs of heaven can legally be called donuts then I have just found the best donut shop in the world. I just ate a butterscotch donut and it was super luscious. Wonderful white glaze with caramel drizzle topping, super flakey multilayered pastry inside, and the coup de grâce-- lovely flowing ooze of injected butterscoth pudding exploding from the middle layer of the donut.Five Daughters also has more traditionally made yeast raised donuts. But seriously, why try those when you can feast on the nirvana of donuts by having their specialty 100 layer donuts? Why try just one?Yes, you will pay a little more for this decadence. But alas, it is worth it.If you are in Franklin TN area, you must go to the Factory in Franklin and try a specialty 100 layer donut ar Five Daughters Bakery. You will love it. You have my Kim Gentes quality guarantee (I am inventing that just for this place).Do it. Now.
Super good doughnuts and friendly staff. Try one of the 100-layer, you wont be disappointed.
Not impressed at all. Donut tasted half baked. Maple cinammon tasted like banana. $7.50 for these TWO items!
I love this place! My sister has type 2 diabetes and I get her paleo donoughts on occasion as a special treat for her. I love that U can order online and pick up later. The staff is super friendly.
The employees are always so very nice. Even if there is a line, its quick. The line is set up for in and out, fast and efficient. These are hands down the best gourmet donuts, imop, that are offered. Worth the price. Such a treat.
Hands down the best doughnuts I’ve ever hand! All flavors are delicious however in particular I love the strawberry shortcake, raspberry filled and King Kong. Pricey but worth every penny as a specialtreat once in a while! A must visit if you are in Nashville area!!
Paying over $4 for one doughnut plus a tip came to $5 which is pretty steep and it wasnt even that big. Tasted just like a glazed donut you could have gotten at Krispy Kreme for a while lot less. Good but not great and wont be repeated.
Starting with 100 stars! Seriously the absolute best donuts I’ve ever eaten. In. My. Life. We bought 8 different flavors and cut them up for our entire family to sample. A must stop, I tell you!
This place is AMAZING! every time I go to Franklin I stop by this place de doughnuts are so good and the employees are always really friendly. I really wish they would open one in Murfreesboro so I can go more often
Donuts are excellent. Rich, but coffee balances them out perfectly. Definitely recommend this place!
These things are scrumptious and the staff are just the best. Highly recommend
Delicious 😋 walked in with an appetite for pastry and thats what I got. Wonderful place!
Yummy! My donut seemed a little tough but it was later in the day and the flavor was great.
Only complaint is the addictive factor and sometimes they sell out before closing time
I was so eager to try this doughnuts because they looked so good and pretty on Instagram and so I went to the Franklin location. Donuts were cute but didnt taste fresh and they were tiny, (4.99 each) also the frosting had an overwhelming taste of butter. Actually, thinking about it. It must have been only butter with a tiny bit of sugar and color. The filling was something like a mix of butter and cream cheese. Im sorry, I see a lot of people like this donuts but I really didnt. Just my opinion.
Best donuts ever!!! Love them!!! Absolutely delicious!
This place was amazing. I went to the Five daughters located in The Factory Franklin, Tennessee. Everything about this place was pretty awesome. Before we walked into the actual restaurant where you order we watched them make these cronuts handmade that was pretty cool to watch them make the dough and know that you were going to order what they were just mixing up a bit ago. I ordered a black coffee and a cronut of course, it was a triple chocolate cronut and it was completely amazing. This was a very clean place, I would recommend knowing exactly what you want to order before you get in there. You can look on their online menu I think that is easier because they are very busy and once you are in line you need to go go. Other than that five stars all the way. Thank you
Fantastic. The best there is. A taste of heaven
Top Donuts! Get there early.
Best donuts ever!! Love the tart cherry.
Pretty good doughnuts, they have gluten free and, I believe, vegan options also.
Them donuts are absolutely addictive.
YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!! Even yummy the next day. Personally, my favorites are the vanilla and the 100 layer. They are also always super friendly!
Good thing I live 2000 miles away, or Id give the Goodyear blimp a run for its money....yum.
Always wonderful! the best donuts Ive ever eaten and what a selection. The Lemon filled was delicious!
The service was incredible and the food was delicious. 10/10
We were not impressed at all with the 2 donuts that we bought 😏 There was no flavor & they both were rubbery & no filling in them for the price we paid 🤨 we will never come back again. My Family had been to the Five Daughters in Nashville before on 12th & they were SO much better! Sorry 😢 but Franklin Five Daughters needs to be looked into by the owner.
They were almost sold out but it was nearly 5pm. Staff was super friendly!
The donuts were tasty but VERY overpriced. 2 donuts cost 10 dollars, which is the price of a dozen elsewhere. I had such high expectations and was unfortunately let down
The donuts here are great. Must have.
I absolutely love that they have gluten and dairy free options here!!! So delicious 😋
Beyond delicious! With the drive from anywhere!
Cool place, coffee was great
I dont get it. $5 for a donut? The best croissant in the world doesnt even cost $5. These are way overpriced. They do not taste fresh at all and are clearly mass-produced.
This place will ruin all other doughnuts and most breakfast pastries for you. Would eat again.
Very unique and delicious donut shop! If you dont mind spending a little extra for craft donuts, then this is the place to go!
Id challenge anyone to find a better doughnut. Anywhere. The downside is the expense, but then again it keeps you from ordering a dozen. They are not that kind of donut!Get there early, before I order all of the King Kong. Because I will.So.Good.
A little over priced but was worth it. I suggest the King Kong and getting there right when it opens
Great customer service and donuts, will be back
We bought two different doughnuts here, they were kinda unpleasant to eat to be honest, we ended up throwing away half of each after we both had a taste of each one.Not sure what made them taste that way.. but they were bland and chalky with hardly any sweetness to them.Really nice staff though... maybe it was just the ones we got.
The cronuts were amazing
Best Ive ever had
Great place, awesome bakery. The donuts are delicious. We will be back
Yum. I don’t think you can go wrong. Good past time to watch them make donuts too.
The Doughnuts here are a bit pricier than dunkin, which is like saying that a car a a bit pricier than a bicycle. The baked goods here are a whole separate level. I sometimes photograph their baked goods for inspiration in my own baking. But the doughnuts here, yeah, just go by and enjoy.
Had our introduction to these culinary masterpieces over the weekend. My wife and I shared a salted caramel donut, which was amazing, but were even more taken with the King Kong - a donut that features maple flavoring and bacon. For those who haven’t been there, the featured donuts are layered pastry with filling - similar to the “Cronut” but even better.
Great service with management who cares to keep their business on point! Thank you!
I stumbled across this gem of a place and ordered avocado toast with Amish egg and a chocolate sea salt donut. Both were beyond excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. If back in the area again, I would definitely visit Five Daughters again!
What a great place with friendly staff, and delicious baked goods made on site.
