I had my bike in for a routine tune up. Dropped it off and it took 2 weeks from that point before it was even looked at. The work order included a tune up and chain replacement. I got it home and saw that the chain wasnt even on properly and the tires were flat. I mean its not hard to fix, but thats exactly why I shouldnt have to find it like that when I get it back.

Great bike selling. Not the best timelines for bike maintenance. Simple tasks get pushed out 4 to 6 weeks. I took my bike elsewhere and got it fixed pretty quickly.

Awesome bike shop. Great people! I was able to find my beloved salsa warbird in stock a few months ago. I put a deposit down and picked it up the next day assembled. I recently went in for a small fitting issue and could not have had a better experience with Alex. The shop is very involved with the local community. They also carry niche stuff like wolftooth and problem solvers in addition to big brands like bontranger when it comes to accessories. They have a good selection of shoes, helmets, bags, lights, and anything else you may need for your cycling needs. If you need a new bike or anything bike related, go to Bike Doctor Frederick!

I have been in multiple times for beginner questions and service. Things like tube changes. The owner and staff are super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The owner / manager has always helped me personally and he is awesome. Even changed the tires on my stroller!

I was shopping for a bike seat for my indoor exercise bike. What I thought I wanted turned out not to be the best choice. My sales assistant steered me towards a seat that is working perfectly for me. He asked me a few questions and knew just what I needed. He saved me money too which was a plus. 5 star no doubt.Came in with a flat. The tech mounted the bike on the workstation and replaced the tube within 10 minutes and plucked 2 small glass shards from tire. He also sold ne 2 spare tube so u now have a backup option.Excellent service and experience.

I cant speak to the quality of parts or repair services here, but I can speak about Scott. With a kind, friendly, no-pressure tone, Scott taught me about what has changed in mountain bikes since the last time I bought one (which was 2012). I decided to put a deposit down on a bike slated to arrive a in a few weeks and I couldnt be much more excited. I highly recommend working with Scott!

Alex and team are incredible! They will do whatever it takes to only fuel the biking passion. I bought a bike there and have brought bikes I purchased prior to moving to Maryland for repairs. All the bikes were taken care of with the highest of professionalism.

You have to wait outside to be let into the store it seemed to be a maximum of 3 customers at a time. Wait was long, shop did not have a large selection due to high demand at this time. Service appointments are at least 3 weeks out.I went in looking for a new bike came out with some riding gear.

I was given an estimate over the phone for installing a replacement rear derailleur for $15 for my daughters bike. I drove 20 minutes with the bike only to be told when I arrived that they couldn’t install it without doing a full inspection ($100+) because it was not branded bike that they sold in their store and it could be a liability. I wish they would have told me that ahead of time. I even called twice to confirm the estimate.

Brought in my sons Mongoose bike for a repair. Never thought that I would get it back in the same day, but repair was made within 20 minutes. Very surprised and very pleased. I have always had good experiences even purchasing three bikes there before.

Brought my sons mountain bike to Bike Doctor at 4:30 pm with two flat tires. They close at 5. Bike doctor gave my sons bike a quick check and installed two new tubes for $40.00. I was out the door before 5 and they never tried to upsell me on new tires. Instead, when i asked about the tires they assured me they were fine and I didnt need to spend the money. Honesty. Good service. A fair price. Thats all you can ask for and I got it. Thank you!

Took a tire in to have spokes out on. Stood there while staff and owner had a personal conversation and ignored me. Finally asked me what I needed. Told me it would be 3 to 6 weeks before they could do anything. I asked to buy spokes as I have done this myself before. He brings me spokes that are obviously way to small for the tire in my hand. I call him on it and then he proceeds to tell me I cant spoke my own tire???? Avoid like the plague. They are not honest. They are horrible at customer service and they do not know what they are doing. I wouldntt trust anyone in that building.

Last week I brought in both my 4 yr old daughters motortcycle bike (she swears its the the real deal) and my 12 yr old nephews bikes because both bikes needed inner tubes and during the early summer months of covid-19 the sizes we needed were absolutely no where to be found. Finally some patience paid off and I was able to get both bikes fixed while I waited less than 10 minutes. I want to give to a shout out and huge thank you to Caitlyn, Donovan, and lastly Marty. You guys are very knowledgeable and professional and it was a pleasure working with all 3 of three of you. Keep up the good work!!!!

I took two bikes in on Monday afternoon with rear wheel flats. The mechanic came over and asked what he could help us with. I inquired about how long it would take. He took the bikes over and had to replace one tire and tube and the other one just plug the tire and replace the tube. I went next door to Meadows Creamery for ice cream while he fixed the bikes. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Excellent service.

Got me in and repaired my flat quickly, and swapped out two new tires in like 20 minutes. I was expecting that I would need a tune-up, but he gave it the once-over and said it appeared unnecessary. I was glad they were honest and didnt try to sell me unnecessary service. Very pleased.

LOVE THESE PEOPLE!I took my bike over to the Bicycle Connection by Wegmans first. My mountain bike had been sitting my garage for a few years and needed a tuneup/refurbish. They said after looking it over it was probably not worth it, and tried to sell me a new bike off their floor. This is a $1200 mountain bike new, mind you. I told them I really like this mountain bike and Id prefer this be fixed. They go Oh ok, well, youre looking at about $400, and it will be 2 weeks minimum before we get to it, and who knows what other problems well run into once we get into it. Then the guys says again OR, we could put that $400 into this bike off the floor and you can ride today!NO thanks.Drove directly over to the Bicycle Doctor. They put the bike up on a stand, had a formal check-sheet where they rated everything by color code: Red, Yellow, Green in terms of condition; a free assessment!They come back with Bike is in great shape, $89 for a tune up and well have for you in 7 days. Done!Have been riding it for over a month now it rides like new! GREAT JOB GUYS!

Brain, Marcus and the staff have always been polite and informing. Service has been great. Most recently, I was upgrading my road bike to electronic shifting. The battery for the derailleur didnt ship with the rest of the order and I was planning on riding over the weekend. Brians wife actually drove to the shipping company in the evening to get the parts so I could have the bike for my ride. Bike Doctor is about a friendship for your cycling. I am not an experienced rider but they sure do treat me well. Over the years, I have bought 10 bikes for myself, friends and family from Bike Doctor Frederick. They are good people with good service, have great bikes and have become real friends.

Very good service. Went in for a spoke and to see if they had a bolt for a Syncros seat post clamp. They had both and the guy also went ahead and replaced the spoke while I waited.

Very friendly staff with awesome service! Went in today to have my bicycle repaired and not only did they fix it they fixed it the same day. I certainly was not expecting to have the bike back the same day. That was just amazing. Now I should say it was only a broken pedal. Not major service. But still I was so surprised they were able to fix it on the spot. Great bicycle store for both sales and service.

The Bike Doctor Frederick is a great bike shop--we have been going there since 2009. I put >20,000 miles on the first bike I bought there, and now have a second with >7000 miles (and still putting miles on the older bike) due to their maintenance and helpful hints when I do some simple fix myself.hints Fun to visit for a few minutes, and take a quick look around, even if all I really need is a new tube.

Brian is an experienced rider and all round friendly guy. His knowledge of fit from fitting many cyclists to bikes with the GURU fit machine has resulted in some changes to my position on the bike that will help me improve my riding. Importantly, he listened to me as a customer to ensure my goals were being met in the fitting process. He also shared invaluable advice and changed a misconception I had. If you’ve never done it, I recommend making an appointment for a fitting session as small adjustments can make a big difference to rider efficiency and comfort.

I’ve been taking my bikes to Bike Doctor for over seven years now, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their work and advice is top notch, they never try to sell you what you don’t need, and they consistently go beyond the call of duty to help you out (in my case at least twice so far this year).

I was very very unhappy with every part of my experience here. The job was so rushed that the tube blew out with in 20 hours of being put on. Yes they refunded the coast of the tube but wanted to charge me AGAIN to put the new one on. Customer service was extremely poor, the gentleman was rude and talked down to me the entire time!! I will never go back here. On the plus side this made me go to wheel base who has much better prices, customer service, and professional!!

Looks like a good place for Santa Cruz bikes. Not a bad selection of gear, but I wasnt able to find much of anything I was looking for while I was there. Havent done any service there... and thats often where a shop shines (or vice versa).

I got both my tires repaired in a matter of minutes, picked up some other supplies and will be back as needed. Great store, great staff.

I took my grandson to look for a mountain bike. Prices were good but I didnt like the name brands they had. But if you are not doing serious mountain biking then it is best to buy here rather than Bicycle Escape in the Wegmans shopping area. They are way too expensive. I bought a bike there. They never measured me so I gave it to my grandson. I fell every time I stopped because my feet couldnt touch the ground. Always be measured for the bike you buy.
