We tried to get an appointment (because my daughter car was pulling and she forgot to do the alignment before she left) but she never got a confirmation. So we went there when it opened (the guy seen that she had tried to make an appointment) he was able to do the alignment and do a general car check. But it only cost $10.00 (because the tires she just purchased and got aligned) was/is on warranty. Awesome customer service and car care!!! Will definitely recommend this place!!!
3/5 because they were friendly and were able to get me in the following day. Cant give a 5/5 because I got my car pressured tested to see where a coolant leak was coming from and they said they didnt see any external leakage so there was an internal leak (which is $$$). I even started new car shopping and in the meantime was just refilling coolant daily until one day i popped the hood after driving and clear as day saw the leak. I replaced the reservoir myself and everything is as good as new. I barely know anything about cars so the fact a professional could not find it but i did within 10 secs is kind of sad.
Been going to Tires Plus since 2000 over 20 years. Ive had the pleasure of seeing some very good managers leave including Sergio. Since hes left service has really gone downhill. Three plus hours for tire rotation and oil changes have forced me to seek other options.This last weekend my car had two flats. Brought the tires in for replacement and 4 hours later still not finished.Returned the following day picked up the tires only to find out the air pressure was significantly low, 26 and 22 lbs.I have the hazard watrenty on the tires so I am pretty much married to Tires Plus. If this were not the case I would seek service elsewhere.
Made appointment for tire repair - arrived a few minutes early - front desk asked if I’d be waiting for car - simple nail in tire usually takes 30mins to an hr maximum - An Hour and 20 mins after waiting I inquire on the status of repair only to be notified they’d be pulling into start repair shortly - What was the purpose of scheduling appointment if your staff couldn’t attend to the vehicle in the time frame YOU scheduled - I took my car across Buckeystown Pike to Maryland Tire & Auto - tire punched in 15mins
I would not recommend the place to anyone. I took my care here last week to get 4 new tires. I sat in the waiting room for about an hour and a half only to be told that they couldn’t remove one of my tires and the only way they could fix it is by ordering a part which was $900! I took my car to a different shop and got my tires at a cheaper price and they had no trouble taking my tires off. Save the hassle and your money.
They are very helpful and fit my car in. There was a wait, but I had no appointment. When you buy tires, get the extended warranty. It was worth it.
I have been using Tires Plus for years and have never been disappointed. I was a bit nervous when Brad and Sergio left, because they were FABULOUS! I will say I do miss them, but have had nothing but positive experiences with the employees that have replaced them.When my low tire pressure light has come on and Ive stopped there to have the tires checked and more air put in, Ive not waited long at all before being helped and on my way. Ive only come across professionalism and kindness!

I went in yesterday to get new tires. I made the appointment online and reserved my tires days before. I drove an hour to come to this location because I wanted these certain tires they said they had and it was such a great price! I got there and the tall older man behind the counter said I didn’t reserve tires and tried to up sell me $300 tires when the tires I was getting for the whole out of door price was $176. I showed him screenshots for proof of my reservation. I felt like I shouldn’t have had to defend myself he kept talking to me like I was lying before I showed him the photos. He then continue to try to make me buy well over my price range for two tires and wouldn’t honor the price even though he knew they were in the wrong after showing him screenshots. I understand if you can’t sell them lower but at least have some customer service and try to work with me. I went an hour out of my way to come to that location and even called ahead to make sure they had the tires. I left with no tires and a terrible experience. I would recommend even if it is a good price go somewhere else. The experience of working with them isn’t worth the extra $50 off. I felt like I was getting hassled by a used car salesman.
Ive seen some interesting reviews about this place and I thought I would share my experience and summarize what I think people are feeling. It seems that the customer service of this location is lacking if you are a little unsure of what it is you need. I knew that I needed a patch for my tire, I got a quote, I made an appointment, I went in and they took my car, they fixed the patch in about an hour and ten minutes, and I was on my way. If you are looking for a place to answer a bunch of questions and help you find the best option, this might not be your place. Not to say that you will get zero help, but if you waltz in completely lost and need hand holding, I wouldnt count on it. (No judgement. I find that is often my case, especially when it comes to cars.)Having said that, I have zero complaints about my service. The work was great, the customer rep gave me what I wanted, and I was out of there in a decent time, and most importantly, it was the best price I could find.So I would say definitely go to this place, but do some research before you go in. That would greatly benefit you in any situation, but undoubtedly in this one.

I made an 8am appointment because my car was making noises. I arrived really early and Justin could not have been nicer. The repair ending being a 5 hour affair, but Justin was nothing helpful and kind giving me frequent updates and explaining what was needed and why. While I hope not to have any future issues, I know that I’ll be in go hands with Justin, Steve and the rest of the staff at Tires Plus.
This tires plus location has a very rude person working in at the front desk. I was looking to get an oil change done for my car. I went onto the website, which allows for the booking online. I picked the same day and 4 pm. (it was 3:30 pm at the time I booked it, they close at 5 pm) I get the confirmation email, which states that if there is an issue with that booking I would be contacted ASAP to find an alternative booking. Well, no phone call, so I drove to the location, arrived 5 minutes early. I told the lady at the front, I booked a 4 pm oil change and was here for it. She asks for my last name. I give her that, and also let her know that I booked this about 30 minutes ago but never received a phone call like the email states I would if there was a problem with the time for the oil change. She proceeds to tell me, ”yeah were all booked up, and we NEVER give out same-day appointments for anything and I am the only person that is upfront right now and have been too busy to check the online appointment confirmations.” The condescension and caustic tone she used toward me was completely uncalled for, it was as if I was her child and this is something I shouldve understood cannot happen. She tried to make me feel like I was an idiot for coming into the location to get an oil change and when I bit my tongue with a reply and said, ”oh I am sorry I was not aware of everything you just told me, I just want to confirm that there is no availability today?” she replied with, ”nope.” I then told her to have a good rest of the day, and thanks for her time. She simply said, ”yeah.” I will never consider going to a Tires Plus again if I have any other option out there. I have had this specific location actually do work on my car in the past, and youve now lost a customer. You can thank your rude employee that could not muster having a positive attitude toward someone that was looking to hand you money for services. Just awful.
Cant change the tire on a Corvette without the possibility of damaging the wheel. Thought this was Tires Plus, Not babies r us. Get some more modern equipment
I am very pleased with the environment at the Frederick Tires plus Shop. Its calm, Quiet and very respectful place to wait for your vehicle while its being serviced. Always a great experience here. The manager Justin is fantastic. Ive gone for oil changes, new tires, and to have some belts replaced. I never feel like Im being taken for a ride (pun intended) and am confident that they tell me what is necessary to keep my vehicle (13 Honda Civic) safe and in good condition to last for the long haul without over charging or finding extra things that need to be done. Would definitely recommend.
A few weeks ago my tire notification came on and I realized I had a slow leak. I had no appointment but I swung by Tires Plus because I was in the area, hoping someone could take a look. Within seconds of walking in the door I saw one of the young men in the garage notice and come right over to help me. He inspected my tire in the lot but couldnt see anything major so he set me up with an appointment to put it on the lift. He filled my tires and didnt charge for the service. When I came back they put my car on the lift and found a nail in a spot that made it unrepairable. They recomended me a few options of new great all season tires and offered to order them for us (since mine were weathered and I decided to replace all 4), filled my tires with air again, and still did not charge a dime! We chose our tires and called to see if they could order/mount them since we wanted to give them our business after all of their efforts. Steve called to say the tires we ordered had arrived within one day of ordering. Super quick! I took my car in and they were put on, along with an entire inspection of my car. I appreciate the great service not once, not twice, but three times in a few weeks! 3 different people helped me and all were great. Thanks guys!!!
Had a flat tire, went into store and told them I either needed a patch or new tire. I asked how long it would take and the guy said pretty much all day. Another customer (guy) walked in a few minutes after me and talked to another employee there. He had same issue and was told 1-2 hours. I then see them inspecting his tire right there. Unbelievable. I even asked the person I was taking to if they were looking at his tire and he said I guess so. The guy I was talking to happened to be a manager. I was going to have someone pick me up, but then decided to wait since it was only going to take the other guy 1-2 hours, mine should also. I let them know this. 2 hours later, they came and told me patch couldnt work because it was in the side of tire. 1 more hour later, new tire. Do not go here. They treat everyone differently! Yes,they were busy, but doesnt take 2 hours to tell me that patch isnt going to work. Absolutely ridiculous.

Upon going in I had seen they were really busy and I was expecting to wait a long time, but Justin made sure to take care of me and my tire promptly so I could be back on the road in record time. He was very helpful and I definitely plan on coming back for more of my tire needs!

I had 4 new tires installed on my 2016 Highlander and service adviser sold me on the alignment (my husband told me I should of known better). Left for FL the next day, car was pulling to the left all the way down 95. Stopped at Firestone (sister company) in FL and they indicated the technician never re-calibrated the steering sensors. Firestone stated they reset the sensors however, the vehicle pulled to the left the entire way back from FL which tells me they did nothing at all. I could not tell while around driving around FL at 35-45 MPH however, we immediately noticed as soon as we got on 95 at higher speeds. My husband took back to Tires Plus when we got back to MD. The technician attempted to re-calibrate my sensors, pulled the truck out and when my husband got in the truck the ABS and Traction Control Light is on. They never mentioned anything at the counter about the re-calibration being unsuccessful; we only noticed by the lights on the dashboard. The bottom line is that the service adviser should of never sold me the alignment knowing they do not have the proper equipment to re-calibrate the sensors. They were trying to be greedy by selling additional services and cannot perform the work correctly. Now I have to pay out of pocket to get my vehicle fixed at the dealer. Although the Manager agreed to reimbursement me for the dealer repair costs, if they would of been honest up front this entire situation could of been avoided.

Hello, I have been a long time customer of this store and I have to tell you my last experience was more than disappointing. I came in to get 4 new tires. The young lady taking care of me asked if I wanted an alignment. I then said, “if I need one” knowing that someone that changes tires can look at the wear on a tire and say yes you absolutely need one. She then told me that there is no way to know if the car needs one without putting it on the machine. I then said no. She said “they do a complimentary check” ok great! So when we came back and the car was done, the check sheet had all green checks, I know I need new air filters and I needed washer fluid, so this obviously was not done. The sheet also said that my new tires were filled to 33psi. I told the young lady that my car needs 36psi (as I had been topping my tires for a week now) and she said, “it should be fine” I then told her that my light is very sensitive and with a 3psi difference the light will be on. She told me that the technician should have checked that. And if my light is on she will top them off. I get into my car and yes the light is on. She did come out and top them off, but why not do it right. There is a sticker in the door of every car that tells you what psi the tires should be set at, why would this not be utilized. I was thoroughly disappointed and am very sorry to say I don’t think I will be back.

Terrible place. They lie. Do not go here. My husband bought tires there last July. We had a flat yesterday because they put in the wrong stem. They wont replace the tire... even though it was their mistake. Total experience has been awful. I recommend you do not use them. They wont even talk to him about it.
Honestly this has to be the worse managed car shop Ive ever taken my car to, for a simple oil change they took over 8 hours. I had to call multiple times to get it done under 1 day. The girls managing the phones were very courteous though, besides that everything was complete garbage. Who knows if they even poured the right oil in my engine? if I could I wouldnt give them a single star. They didnt even fill out the sticker in your car with the information of the oil change.
I wont go anywhere else now! I have had tires, brakes, oil changes, even some engine work done there. Honest, good work, and fast. They have had the same staff now for years, and they are all excellent, and treat you like family. Its hard to believe they are a chain, honestly! Brad is THE BEST!
I always have recieved great service here however I never know when to go back. The mileage sticker is NEVER documented. I have to calculate it for myself. Otherwise best car service around the Frederick area.

I came in with my one problem and many other questions. They addressed the reason for my visit, answered and explained all of my other questions, and did not disparage the other company, that had clearly tried to use scare tactics and get over on a girl. I trust their knowledge, their workmanship, but even more so them.
My husband and I were on vacation in Gettysburg PA got a screw in my tire and air was hissing out, it was 630 pm and no place here was open. I called and spoke to Jeff he said to bring it in. They were lifesavers they were friendly and fast. Best service Ive had ever at a tire place.

My husband and I went online to set an appointment to get a wheel alignment service done. We received an email confirmation not knowing it was only a request for an appointment that needs to be approved and found out when I arrived at appointment time. Well i wouldnt mind so much if the lady at the counter handled it differently. She acted like she couldnt find my name even though i spelled it and saw it before she did on the screen. She was very rude and not quick to help me. So then she just says no that was a request you dont have an appointment and we dont have any openings today. When i come back in to show her the email I received she said the same thing and then one of the guys working there overheard and said they could take me for an alignment later today. The lady said it would be a few hours. I said no thank you. No one called me or anything. I walked out. The situation couldve been handled way differently. I felt as if I was being pushed out the door and no one even attempted to call us about the appointment request we put in...and we arrived for the time we set up...and the email says they will call you and set a good time whether for that day or another fitting one but I received no phone calls.. nothing. And when I walked in the girl at counter was doing absolutely nothing, helping no one...but yet couldnt make a phone call. Also not very quick to get up from the back and come to help me. The customer service is very unprofessional and just horrible. Being in customer service for over 10 years, and professional settings, what I experienced was pretty bad. I would like to give you a zero rating specifically for the girl at the desk who apparently doesnt care at all. You couldve made the experience so much better and been a little nicer and maybe not tried to get me out the door so quick because of your carelessness. I hope you dont do that to everyone.

I took my car there on Saturday, during their busy time, because I had a flat tire. The store manager, Justin, and rest of the staff were very professional and courteous. I had to replace my tire, and will certainly bring my car back next time I need new tires!
Getting new tires is an occasional, but necessary evil. Its hard to rate five stars when dropping just about $500, but they include lifetime rotations and are fair with their time. Theyre convenient and the guy at the desk, Brad, is fair, friendly and an overall pleasant guy. I see I could save about $25 by going to Costco, but decided the hassle isnt worth it to me.
Worst tire service experience of my life. Ordered new wheels and tires from tirerack that were already mounted and balanced. Brought my car in to have them installed. Waited for 2 hours, they give me my paperwork, have me pay, I walk out to my car and all they did was ROTATE MY OLD TIRES. I had to wait another 45 minutes for them to fix this and they NEVER offered any compensation for their incompetence.While I was there, a customer complained that they dropped their car off the day before and it had never been serviced, and they misplaced another customers key.I highly suggest no one bring their car here.
Ive been going to this place for a couple of years, now on my 2nd car that I bring in. I feel they have always been honest with me about what needs done. Even if my brakes are going bad, theyll tell me how long I will have left before I really need to get them, since they know I am tight on money. The only thing I could say needs improvement is the wait time. I always have to find someone who can pick me up or I have to ride my bike home because I just cant sit there for hours for my car to be done. This usually isnt a problem if I have someone that can pick me up. Service is great and the people are nice and honest. I would definitely recommend!!!! Oh, they also let you use expired coupons and even if I dont have a coupon they usually find one for me!
This place is awesome, the store is under new management and as I was reading some of the reviews from the past, this place has always had good management. My car gets done and always trust Justin and the team.

From out of town and blew a break line. We are literally broke down less than a mile from there location. Called as soon as they opened to get a tow into the shop. Person on the phone said they will send someone over. WAITED FOR 2 HOURS!!!! Never showed up and when we called to inquire about the tow....attendant said they dont even offer towing?!?!?
At first I liked this place because they had the right oil filter for my car (I had just tried somewhere else that didnt) and they seemed knowledgeable and finished the work about when they said they would. However, when my oil pressure light came on a little over a week later, I discovered that they had tried to force the dip stick in, which had mangled it pretty bad and caused oil loss. I was driving with almost no oil! They first did not want to take responsibility, but finally did and gave my money back.

This store is TERRIBLE, they messed my car up changing my oil Technician backed my car out not paying attention and tore the bottom of my front bumper it’s been 3 months now & the claim process and I have yet to be contacted. Poor management, and terrible service.
If you’re looking for customer service do not go here. Had a nail in my tire, couldn’t fix it which is fine. Bought a new tire from them...had to change my own wheel after the tire was replaced. Would have had to wait 2 hours because they couldn’t take the 2 minutes it would taken even though the waiting room was completely empty...was told they were short staffed and working on an appointment. Guys I dropped my tire off the night before and asked if when I picked it up if they would install...guess not!

I should start off by stating I am a active mechanic myself... Went here for an alignment. Had slight pull to left after suspension install. Aprox 3.00° out (tie rod ends were not changed or adjusted). Asked the manager if there would be any issues since the car was lowered. He looked at the car then proceded to say everything would be fine and we continued forth. Car goes on the rack.. 45 minutes later they inform me there is a problem and take me back to the aligment machine. The mechanic on duty can not get the jam just lose on the right side after suggesting multiple methods. To free the jam nut that we would do at my own place of employment. The mechanic would ether say hes not comfortable doing so or that the method mentioned would not work. (Air hammer and impact were two of these suggestions) they proceded to tell me that they would leave my ticket open and if i could get my own jam nut off and bring the car back they would finish the alignment. Fast forward 56 minute drive home I tap the nut with a air hammer and it instantly frees itself. Tightent it back up wait till morning drive 56 back to this shop to finish my alignment. Today I have a different mechanic. I requested. 1.00 -1.50 negative chamber in the front and to leave the rear alone. And finish the alighment. 15 minutes in i was brought back intonthe back to teach the mechanic kn duty how to adjust chamber wirh pillow ball top plates and we settled on 1.00 negative chamber. He proceded to to finish the aligment all while talking to another employee who was very vocal in lettingme know indirectly that they do not align lowered cars and this should not be on the rack now for the kicker. My left tire was out 4.00 initally when i arrived at the shop the day before .. And after the mechanic finished my aligment and test drove ot for a good 10 minutes thru frederick i get my car back and the rack is completley uncentered. I get 1 1/3 turns to the right an 3 and some change turns to the left (approximation). I notice this after driving 56 minutes home again and realizing my car does not turn sharp enough to pull into my drive way. On the right. Look under the hood and the mechanica has managagee to have on ball joint maxed all the way in on the tie rod and the other am the way out. How or why he managaed to completly uncenter my steering rack (that was within reason to be corrected when brought to the shop ) is beyond me. I would not recomend this place to anyone. I know have to take my weekend recenrer my own rack and go get another aligment. Which is more money ill was because this shop has incompetent mechanics on duty

Just to balance out the negatives a bit. I have been doing business with this location for years. I have had several instances over the years of me requesting work to be done and when it go in there they told me it did not need the work. Latest instance is my car was squealing bad and getting worse. They thought it was the AC motor going bad, which my extended warranty was going to cover most of the 1600 bill. When they tore it apart, it was the main clutch going bad, turned 1600 into 300. They had no reason to tell me this, warranty company had already approved. Honest repair shop,Keep in mind lot of the reviews are old.

Had a flat and went in to buy two new tires. After getting the rant about the more expensive tires I went with the ones I actually wanted. I then watched as the mechanic took a pry bar to my screw on hubcaps. They are chipped and look different then before their mechanics touched my vehicle. I had to go here because they had the tires I needed but I will never come here again, emergency or not. I will be re doing my rims because of this .I was told an hour and a half and he left out that the hour and a half starts when they pull the car in. I waited an hour before they even started doing anything and am still waiting .I want my car back and I will never let them touch it ever againManager talked to me after I complained in a very condescending and unapologetic time . He said the mechanic apologized to him because she knew she did something wrong. He then started asking questions like should I write her up, and, should I fire her? Rudest conversation Ive ever had

Today I had a very bad experience at Tireplus Frederick. I went to them to get one of my bad tire replaced the other day but they replaced the wrong tire by mistake (i.e. the other one). Luckily I came to know about it later. I went back to them to correct it. Eventhough they replaced my bad tire (as it was their fault) but at the cost of going thru unwanted HEATED ROUGH ARGUMENT (in order to justify it) with front desk person unfortunately. Still hard to believe that Ive gone thru this despite being NOT my fault. My day got ruined due to this unnecessarily.Ill NEVER go to tireplus again and wont advice any one either. THINK TWICE before you make a decision to go there

Brought truck for alignment, they finished it in 30 minutes. But alignment was not corrected. Came back and the service for alignment took 2 1/2 hours only to be told its not complete and need to come back. Noone approached me to tell me anything about the issues with their machinery or why it was taking so long
