Looking forward to this year without all the hype over the “virus.” I personally thought that the owners of this event were very conscientious about health and safety protocols last year. If you didn’t attend last year that was your call. Vendors with food samples implemented standards that most likely will stand again this year. The show has changed over the years driven by economic down turn through no fault of the organizers. It still is a festive atmosphere. 🎅🏻 returns this year 😊🙌. Looking forward our 27th year in a row.

Wear a mask and be as safe as you can. Life is worth living, We are looking forward to going some place fun and starting the holidays on our own terms. I want to live and die in a free country. God bless the United States and the Frederick Christmas shop. Shop small and help your neighbors and their businesses.

Venue insists on proceeding forward even as infection and death rates from the pandemic are surging in the state. They aren’t limiting their capacity because they say they are a retail business. EVERY other similar venue in the state has cancelled their events since June, even when the infection numbers were less than what we are seeing now. I fear this will be a super-spreader event but the owners don’t appear concerned. To them, as with all their business ventures, it’s about money. I’ve been a faithful customer of the event for nearly 25 years but their cavalier attitude about the health of patrons has made me certain never to attend the event again.

Christmas show was incredible. it had variety along with vendors from all over the country. I moved to Frederick several months ago, so this was my first year participating.Ive seen several negative reviews about how the Christmas show has diminished over the years. if thats the case then it had to have been spectacular, because I found this years show outstanding! From specialty food items, specialty arts & crafts, to clothing wear, specialty pet goods, home goods and engaging vendors! From what I encountered, it was a great time had by all! if you missed it and or decided not to come because of one of the poor reviews I encourage you to come next year and decide for yourself! I had a good time and if the Lord is willing, Ill be there in 2019!

Entrance fee is very high for what you actually get once you get in there. Very limited craft vendors. Even had people selling things that they had purchased and tried to pass off as a craft they made

Had a great time at Maryland Christmas Show at the Frederick Fair grounds again this year. Craft vendors had a diverse range of unique products. We brought a lot of gifts as well as items for ourselves. Met up with some friends there and had a great lunch. Love Frederick and love this craft show.

Really cool place to come and check out a bunch of venders. If you are into hand made things and what not, youll like this. There also are a lot of Christmas items and food items

It was not worth the admission because some of the crafters had a negative attitude about their products. I told a lady that her hand-painted Christmas ornaments were stunning and she snottily replied well isnt that good for me. Needless to say, I bought a product off of an elderly who was very friendly, helpful, and attitude-free. There were more vendors at various church bizarres downtown.

They are charging way to much money to get in when half the vendors are not even there. Lots of empty spaces not like it use to be when all the buildings were full... skipping this show going forward not worth the drive or the cost of admission...want a good craft show head to Harrisburg first weekend in December !

The cost of 2 of us coming with parking is $18.00 and we were there less than an hour. A lot of duplicate vendors that are at Sugarloaf as well on the same weekend. There are lots of wine vendors. It was our first time and our last time. The people were nice just not worth the cost of admission.

Lots of crafts, including some beautiful jewelry. Quite a few very nice MD wineries and some great food vendors. A Thanksgiving weekend tradition.

I personally did not really enjoy the show. You went from building to building and you had to walk outside some. I am very glad it was not raining or snowing today. I felt like there wasnt a great selection of crafts or antiques. There was a lot of homemade jewelry. I am glad I went to check it out and see what it was like but I will not be returning

For the last 5 or so years, this show has gone downhill fast. This show used to be the best show anywhere, but not anymore. They used to charge $5.00 to get in wither best show ever. Now, they charge $8.00 to get in, and the show is terrible - not even worth the ride over there from Warrenton, VA. Why dont they just close down and forget it?

Be ADVISED, Sad that Santa was too busy at the North Pole and had to send a replacement this year. Fair is shrinking.... long for the days of the full extra tents. Everyone was very nice.

Charging kids to get in is ridiculous. Above 10 years is fill price. They are there only because their parents want to go. That has kept me from attending on some occasions.

Most all vendors and displays are in buildings or enclosed heated tents. Not as many vendors as many years ago. Have to pay for parking and admission.

Weve been going to this show fi r over 20 years. It has gotten smaller iver the years. We have our fav vendors and always look for new ones. Its a tradition to go the morning after Thanksgiving and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. Puts us in the mood for the holiday season. Heading out tomorrow and cant wait. P.S. best and most authentic Santa around!!
