He replaced the mirror in a 200 year old giant frame...AND repaired the bottom old section of wood that holds the mirror in!!! I contacted them because I was looking for a glass top for a piece of furniture. Very simple project. They contacted me within 24 hours with a quote, and after I told them I’d like to go ahead with the project, it was ready for pickup within 24 hours! GMS installed my new glass shower enclosure and did a fantastic job. They showed up when they said they were going to they did a very clean and neat install. They put protection against the wall when leaning the glass panels on it. They vacuumed up after themselves and left it cleaner than when they showed up I would highly recommend their services.

We have used GMS for almost 15 years for a wide variety of projects - from simple glass cutting and polishing to frameless shower door installation. The Lawsons have always done a terrific job; they always provide excellent quality & service at a reasonable price. Brad & his dad are easy to work with and ALWAYS very accommodating. I couldnt believe how the guys removed their shoes when entering my home and meticulously cleaned the glass and left no trace behind that they were even here - except for the beautiful job they did. I needed a large mirror removed from a wall and cut down to fit over some taller cabinets. Since mine was a relatively quick job (for them) Bubby (the owner) was able to fit me in almost immediately. His crew was polite and professional, and not only did they accomplish exactly what I needed, they left the room cleaner than they found it. This company was fantastic for us and I would definitely hire them again. They replaced windows that had failed seals. The staff were great, worked hard, were neat and courteous.I had a horrible time getting about three other companies even to show up to give an estimate. Dont waste your time and money on the others, give Bubby and his family your business.

It has been my experience that Glass & Mirror Services is committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible. I had 5 defective windows that were under warranty and needed to be replaced from the original window company that supplied and installed them. I called PlyGem, the original window company to start the warranty process. PlyGem needed a laundry list of information in order to send out replacement windows. I contacted Glass & Mirror to see if they could help me with the process and do the labor. Within 72hr. they sent two gentlemen to my house to measure each window, take pictures of the stickers, and provide hand drawn sketches to send to PlyGem. Penni reached out from Glass & Mirror Services with all of the information that I needed to send to PlyGem and also provided a reasonable quote for labor. She was super organized, professional, and easy to work with. After several weeks of waiting for PlyGem to get back to me about sending out the replacement windows I gave them a call. They gave me a bunch of trouble about one of the transom windows and refused to replace it even though it was under warranty and clearly one of their windows. PlyGem also set up delivery of the windows to my house instead of shipping to Glass & Mirror like I had asked them. I called Penni and let her know what was going on with PlyGem and to ask about scheduling the install. I also mentioned the problem I was having about getting the transom replaced under warranty. Penni took time to confirm that the transom was a PlyGem window and even contacted the guys in the field to verify. She reassured me that she would contact PlyGem on my behalf if I needed help. I told her that I would reach out to PlyGem again via email and phone -and hopefully have luck this time. Again, PlyGem refused to acknowledge my request to have the transom replaced for free. I forwarded the emails to Penni and let her know that I was prepared to pay for the transom out of pocket. At this point, 2 months of waiting for PlyGem to help me, I was giving up. Penni actually reached out to PlyGem on my behalf and made sure that I received the transom. She talked to a manager and got my order completed with no additional cost to me. I did not ask her to contact PlyGem but she did it anyway. She went above and beyond what any company has ever done for me - and is committed to her customers. PlyGem is replacing the transom and fulfilling their promise under the warranty thanks to Penni. Thank you Glass & Mirror Services, especially Penni, for helping me through the window replacement process.

After a disappointing experience with a glass company in Winchester, shortly after went to Glass and Mirror in Frederick for a different window and very happy with the result. They are courteous, affordable and very fast. Could not ask for more and would recommend them and certainly go there again.

Josh and Jason did an amazing job taking care of our window replacement! The company as a whole treated me with sincere respect and took serious the urgency of the situation. The day before I was supposed to have 70 people for my daughters 1st birthday, the landscaper shattered my custom order window pane. I spent months planning her party, decorating etc... and to have a broken front door devastated me. Penny gave me an estimate over the phone with all my information that I gave them and came out and replaced the windows in 1 hour!!!!!! Unbelievable service. As a part of a renovation they installed a frame less shower enclosure. We had an issue with some discoloration of the caulking and did not bring it to their attention until after he one year warranty period had gone by.They agreed to come fix the issue anyway, at no cost to us. It required the dismantling and then rebuilding of the enclosure and took a crew a couple of hours.It was a great example of a company standing behind their product, although technically they did not have to. We were impressed and would recommend them highly.

I called a few places around Frederick, MD to get a quote for replacing some glass in my china cabinet. I wanted to get the best deal as my husband and I just moved and were on a budget. When I called around places didnt seem interested in me and didnt get back. I felt as if because it wasnt a huge order I wasnt as important.I was skeptical about getting a quote from this establishment because everywhere I looked there were no ratings! Well let me tell you. The service is OUTSTANDING. The employees are AMAZING. And I will highly recommend this business to EVERYONE.My experience... I call in for a quote. Ms. Penny was super friendly and helpful. Not only did she tell me what would work best for me but she gave me a rough quote with the estimates I gave her. I wasnt sure about my estimates so I asked for someone to come out. They sent someone out at my convenience. The gentleman was great and even took his shoes off before coming in! I didnt ask him to which just shows how considerate they are. To my amazement glass was ready THE NEXT DAY! When I picked up our order I was treat with more friendly smiles, happy faces, wonderful customer service.I love Glass and Mirror Services and recommend them over any other Frederick glass company. I cant say enough about our amazing experience with them. From start to finish they offered first class service. They were timely, professional and courteous.
