Frederick Glass Shop is a great, local, stand-by-their-work business. Weve purchased several things from them - a glass shower wall and door about 7 years ago and, more recently, a very large mirror. Within a month of the mirror being installed, the silver started coming off along the edges. Wayne personally came to look at it and said he would turn in a report to the company who provides their mirrors, but assured me no matter what he would take care of me - and he did. The crew came back out, removed the mirror with the issue and installed a new one at no cost. They could have tried to blame the problem on someone else or make a big deal out of the hassle of swapping out the mirror, but they didnt. I never had any worry that all would be OK. Thats the mark of a great company.

This shop is a real treasure. In addition to providing numerous pieces of custom glass for my home over the course of many years (and installing the same directly into the sashes in some cases), they also recently refurbished about half of my window screens, and they look twice as good as they did when they were NEW. These folks obviously care about their work, and they’re truly a pleasure to work with.

Shawn and Tyler replaced three HUGE panes of glass at my house. One was on the second floor and two on the ground floor. They were extremely efficient, knowledgable and courteous throughout. They retrimmed the windows, caulked them and cleaned up everything. Such a pleasure to see professionals take such good care of their customers and provide an excellent product. Thank you!

Wish I could give negative stars.Called to get an estimate and I was told someone would be here between 8-10am. By 1pm no one showed up so I called to see what happened. The man who answered blamed me for wasting their time because they were there at 8am. He also stated that they called me to find out where I was. When I explained that I was here the entire time and no one had called he got upset and told me I wasted his employees time. I checked my phone, no missed calls, no voice mail and I have two dogs that bark crazy when anyone comes by.(How about my time)?He then said he doesnt want to service us and hung up on me.As a business owner I would never talk to customer with disrespect. Im happy this happened because they do not deserve a nickel on my money. Beware of this pathetic excuse of a company.

While mowing grass I put a rock through a French door. I considered fixing it myself, but decided I did not have the time to mess with it. I called and talked to Wayne. I told him what I had and he gave me a guesstimate of what it would cost to replace the glass. He scheduled the service. I met the glass tech Shaun at the house at the agreed upon time and within a half hour, he had the door back together at the price Wayne had estimated. The job was done quickly and cleanly. Not a shard of glass was left behind. While I was lucky that they had all of the necessary parts in stock, the job was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. I will call them for glass work inthe future!

Thanks so much! Our patio table glass broke during a windstorm. Frederick Glass was very helpful. Because the table got bent when it fell over, I was having a hard time getting an accurate measurement of the needed glass dimensions. The manager was very polite and sent someone to come measure the table at my house all the way in WV where we live. Im very pleased with the new glass.Great pricing too! Beat competitors, and that included delivery cost!

I used Frederick Glass a few years ago to replace some screens. It was a small job. That first time through was fine - no real complaints.The second time, I asked if they replaced sliding doors. They said they did and wanted to come out to measure my existing door. I did not want to waste their time, as this particular door was LOW priority...something we do not use much. I asked the estimator if it would over $2k or under $2k. That would guide me on if Id do the work now or later. I pretty much planned on having Frederick Glass to do the work at some point. I was really in planning stage.The estimator, without hesitating, said it would (and I quote) ... definitely be under $2,000.Someone else from the office emailed me the quote with two options. Option A was $3,000 and Option B was $,3500. Not even close to under $,2000. Heck it is sliding door. If this company does this often, they should have good ballpark figures for 1 item. To come in that much higher made me think they did NOT want to service me.I emailed them back to talk further. I was trying just to see if there were more options etc. No response. Unless they read this review and contact me again, I will not recommend or use them again.

Brought in my window to be repaired per our phone conversation. They told me two weeks for the repair. I called back after the third week and they kept telling next week. After six weeks I picked it back up as they had never repaired it. I dont understand how they stay in business . They were terrible!

Ordered a window glass, was told that it would take a week and a half to get the glass in . I called every week to see if they got it in, a month later I was told my glass came in, l think there customer service sucks!!!

They get very busy and sometimes it takes longer than expected. . Sorry for your inconvenience.
