My wife and I were very impressed with the taste. We shared Crab Dip, and both got a Chili Cheese Dog, and a stuffed dessert pretzel. We are very picky with Crab Dip, this place did not disappoint. The chili in the Chili Cheese Dog is amazing!! The Stuffed Dessert Pretzel was unreal - still thinking about it. Yummm!! Will definitely continue trying things from here. The bill came out to $20/person which isnt too bad considering we had an appetizer, main, and dessert, and the portions are more than generous
OMG!This place is HEAVEN!The Bianca Pretzel Pizza is the most amazing thing! The pretzel dough is on point. The crust is so flavorful and THICK. Its topped with the perfect ratio of spinach, ricotta and garlic sauce. I could eat this all the time (dangerous) and I love that it comes in so many size options! The 8 is the perfect size for one, and sharing if you want to try a couple different flavors. We also ordered...The Veggie Pretzel Pizza - Spinach, mushroom, tomato, green pepper, onion, broccoli and marinara.Turkey Reuben Pretzel Calzone - Turkey, sauerkraut, swiss and 1000 island dressing.Everything was good. But the Bianca is deadly!Ordering online is super easy! Prices are reasonable. Service is good.
Delicious and people were raving! Excellent communication and coordination. Went off without a hitch and we were very happy with everything. We got the Mini All Beef Hot Dogs, Pretzel Bites, Just Topped: Old Bay + Butter & Salt + Parmesan, Garlic Knots, and Pretzel Focaccia Slider Platter. We worked with Carlo- he was awesome!
Flavor really bad.probably the worst pizza I ever eat.Good service nice people.
Recommend for vegans! Great vegan hummus sandwich 😋 I was expecting a Subway quality veggie sandwich, but wow! The vegan cheese pizza is also quite delicious, and the beer selection has a few craft beers along with the standard domestic selection. Overall, fantastic casual Friday night place to eat.
Very Disappointing. Until today, this was one of my top pizza choices Frederick. We ordered garlic knots and pizza. The garlic knots tasted stale, like they had been reheated. The garlic was very intense and bitter. The pizza crust was also sub-par. The crust tasted like it had been previously frozen and wasnt as flavorful as it was on my last few visits. I dont know what happened, but I wont be back.
Was good pizza, expecially the crust. But very expensive. About 21 dollars for a large cheese pizza. Good vibes and very nice staff
The stuff pretzels are good. The calzones were better on the second day ( had more pretzel flavor for some reason). Pizza was good.Has a good selection of pretzeled items (if that weren’t obvious). I found everything to be ok. I couldn’t really taste the pretzel dough on the calzones until the day after. I would order here again but probably just stick to the stuffed pretzels. They were good. If you’re into trying something different check it out.
Pretzel creations are tasty and well done, both savory and sweet. Its something you wont be able to find just anywhere. Currently only outdoor seating which is limited, but worth the wait or you can just order take out.
Great food! Best pizzas! Great Pretzels! Great pickup service for call in and online orders. Pickup your order at the door or sit down outside dining tables with service. Excellent downtown location on 200 block of Market street.Excellent service for delivery drivers pickup.
Best soft pretzels... hands down.
I’ve ordered from PPC numerous times now and I haven’t gotten anything I haven’t liked! It’s such a unique concept that you can’t find elsewhere.Personally, my favorites are the margherita pizza, m&ms pretzel and cheese calzone. My husband loves the simplicity of the pretzel wrapped hotdog, and it’s the perfect portion at a fantastic price. They get extra credit for offering delivery!!
I ordered a vegitarian pizza enough for one . Very good pizza the crust was amazing and vegtables were very fresh. I will be back to try other items on the menu. It was so good I eat every bit.
Came with young children. Staff was kind and helpful! Pizzas were great. We had ice cream which everyone loved..
I dont think I can eat another non-pretzel based calzone again. Its that good.
Beautiful day for a buttered salted pretzel with honey mustard & cup of ice cream. Love the outdoor seating!
They have great vegetarian options! Really love their food, love the ordering process, the outdoor seats were perfect. One tip I have is to call ahead and order. That smooths out the process quite a bit!
Pizza and calzones are awesome. Never had a bad experience here. Friendly service and dine in is opened back up.
I absolutely love, love, love how this restaurant uses pretzel dough foccacia bread to make their sandwiches. Very unique and extremely delicious! They will soon be renovating the interior of the restaurant, so we can hardly wait until theyre done so we can sit inside & eat in peace instead of the al fresco seating adjacent to the traffic of Market Street.
Delicious! I actually ate the crust of this pizza, I usually avoid crust. Was good!!
Went after a hike with my brother. Dough was still wet and not thoroughly cooked with the garlic knots. Other than that the pizza and pretzel were good. Staff friendly and okay prices.
Great food and nostalgic architecture meet in this Frederick mainstay. Lunchtime, dinner, or late night diners can look forward to the buttery crust and rich, flavorful ingredients of just about any pizza creation you can imagine. Cool your aftermeal pallet with a selection of ice cream, crafted smoothie or milkshake, or enjoy a traditional soft pretzel as you say so long to the friendliest staff on Market Street.
I am terribly sorry I was Being very rude while waiting. For the food and I should have been more patient. However My Fiance had a unpleasant experience with the Garlic knots. Way too much garlic
This is a downtown Frederick staple! Good prices and high quality taste. They have created a unique twist on pizza that cant be matched. The sweet taste of the pizza dough melts in your mouth, and this is most definitely, a crust you will not leave in the box. If you have a dog be careful, because there wont be any crust scraps left when your done!I didnt try the pizza until a few months ago, and Ive lived in Frederick for 31 years. Now the only regret I have is not trying them earlier and missing years of delicious pizzas, pretzels, and other unique creations!
Their pretzels are great, they go good with nacho cheese sauce.
Who knew you could get really good pizza at 2am? You can at this place!
The crab dip and pretzel ciabatta bread was the tables favorite.
Staff were very friendly but this pizza is so wildly sweet, idk how people stomach it. From reviews I guess some people like it but wow not for me
My family and I called about 40 minutes before we got our food after we were told it’d be about a 20 minute wait, the girl on the phone didn’t even ask for our number to text us when our food was done but the guy asked every other customer for theirs. Then we called after the first 30 minutes to make sure we’d still be getting our food and the guy on the phone said it’d be about 2 more minutes. LIES. Also we weren’t even offered the dine in option, they just assumed we were taking out! They also numerous times let other customers inside, but told us we had to wait outside because “they were busy”. So rude. Not buying from here again. Then when we FINALLY got our pretzels; they were all WAY TOO SALTY. 33$!!!!
The food was good and the workers are really nice.
Delicious pretzel creations. So good. Must stop in and grab some!
A favorite of mine in Frederick. The Jalapeño cheddar pretzel is one of my favorites along with a slice of pepperoni pizza. The sauce they use in their pizza tends to be on the sweeter side so if that’s not your thing than you might want to look elsewhere.
Although the wait was longer than expected the resulting food made up for it. I got a pretzel pizza and was not disappointed with the outcome. Staff seems to be working hard to keep everything running as smooth as possible. Great stop in Fredrick.
I tried their pizza for the first time and I must say it is a new go to. The pretzel crust is to die for. I tried the margarita pizza and the garlic bites, they have such a unique flavor, I recommend 10/10. Only thing is location is downtown so parking is a little weird, they do have 10 minute pick up spots now tho!
The best pizza Ive had in my 23 years of living in Frederick, plus the pretzels are phenomenal, too. A great local place to stop in for a snack, have a meal with friends, or enjoy some fantastic desserts
Saturday night, very busy, server did a great job. Love the pizza crust
Cute, casual place to eat tucked away in downtown Frederick. Friendly staff. Food was food, but maybe just a little over priced for what we chose (calzone, sandwiches, pizza, rootbeer floats). Good energy everyone from single patrons, to small groups seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will definitely go back.
I come here all the time I love you guys but today my sandwich was really messed up, no lettuce pretty much no avocado and who ever sliced it or put it together cut each slice a different direction making like an x so the cuts were completely opposite so my sandwich just completely fell apart. I get being busy but yea
One of those unique places that tastes like a special occasion but doesnt cost like a special occasion! I love this place. Try their pizzas, their sandwiches, and their pretzels (dont forget to grab some of their dip, too!)
Absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was positively lovely
Visited Pretzel & Pizza a few weeks ago and was so impressed with the level of service and enthusiasm displayed by the server Sean. Even though we were getting food to go, he was as thorough with the menu and our options as he presumably would have been had we eaten onsite. The food is incredible, and his service even more so.
Unique crust but not to bad. Kids enjoyed it. Will eat again
The food was SO good. Tyler was our waiter and he was THE BEST waiter ever. Give Tyler a raise!
Very good pretzel chili dog however the hot should have been grilled before placed in the pretzel wrap Chili was good but very red sauce like
We have been coming here for a number of years, and have always had amazing experiences. The food and service has always been great. Tonight, the food was great as usual but the service was lacking. We ordered a pretzel to share along with our sandwiches and it didnt come out until we had both finished our meals. My wifes came out first and then ten minutes later, mine came out. The pretzel came as we were finishing up. The dining area was also a mess. It wasnt terribly busy either, which made the above really surprising to us. When we asked for a box to put our pretzel in (I want to add that we got it because their fresh pretzels are amazing) we got a piece of wax paper and the paper bag Ive attached as a photo. I asked for a box and they said they didnt have one to fit the pretzel. I had to ask for a small pizza box. The photo makes it appear larger than it is. Its smaller than an average sized lunch bag. It was one of those moments that was so irritating it was funny. My wife didnt see the humor though. If anyone was curious.I want to be very specific in that this was likely a one off. Normally, the experience is fantastic.
Great pizza place with a unique twist. Enjoy their sandwiches a lot too!
The food was cold, I waited too long for just one little personal pizza, it’s full of teenagers who are probably under paid, fraternizing, and being rude to you . I don’t suggest coming here . plus the food is overpriced
The food here is delicious, I always get the turkey and provolone sandwich. Also tried the Buffalo Chicken pizza. DO NOT GET THE SMOOTHIES. Theyre super sweet, not how smoothies should be, its like liquid candy. Tried talking to one of the kitchen staff, bad idea, super rude. The other staff is really nice though and agrees the smoothies shouldnt even be on the menu. The ice cream is fabulous and unique. Try the Magical Unicorn.
We had the best lunch and service. The sandwiches and pizza were a hit. The server took great care of us and the food was awesome. We will definitely come back again...soon!
PPC is our favorite! My daughter can’t live without the chocolate chip stuffed pretzels and my son inhales the pizza (the crust/dough is to die for). I love the chicken salad sandwich, it’s my go-to. And the staff is always happy and serves with a smile!!! We are PPC lovers through and through...
Had a great time here! Shawn (Sean?)was our server and he was awesome and he deserves a raise
Wonderful service. The pretzels were tasty! We plan to go back again. We are approximately 45 min away. Worth the drive.
Pizza was pretty good. Not amazing but pretty good, i wished that there was a bit more cheese and toppings on the pizza besides that. Very good pizza for what it is.Will def. Be returning and trying out some of the other specialty pizzas! And the calzones!
Great prices great food
Best pretzels around. Awesome pretzel bread for sandwiches & pizza dough as well.
Usually love this place but was given a raw pretzel today. When I called back to let them know the person answering didnt seem to be concerned.
Absolutely amazing establishment. My kids and I drive an hour just to eat here because of their outstanding commitment to cleanliness and their delicious food. Our server, Sean, made the experience so much better that my kids were even remarking how much they liked him and his customer service. Love it here!
Best spot to hit after a night of drinking
This is gross. The pizza dough is so sweet it ruins the idea of pizza. I can’t believe this has high reviews. It’s really expensive pizza too! I don’t know if I went on a night that they mess up the dough but I will not be back. I’ve heard nothing but good things but I am so unbelievably blown away with how sweet the pizza.
Service was slow, the pizza was only good, not great, and you didnt get a lot for what you paid.
One of my favorite little places in downtown Frederick. They have been around for years and I have always gotten good food from here.
We called ahead and paid for our order and told 20-30 minutes for pickup. We arrived about 20 minutes later, was told they would be out. At 35 min we approached the server (red ponytail and beard) who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was rude in his words and threw glares at us and wouldn’t respond to questions. He gave no explanation as to what was taking so long and did not apologize. The hot dogs were good when they eventually came out but the customer service makes us never want to go back. I understand they could have been busy, a simple explanation and professionalism would have been fine.
Such a great place for a quick bite of za. Its not the most fancy looking food, but its really great taste and just about every item has the housemade pretzle dough. Slightly sweet, slightly salty, 💯 perfect. They even have vegan options. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is just because the pickup times when ordering togo have been very inconsistent. Sometimes its way under time and we havent even made it to Market St yet, and other times we get 10-15 minutes over the stated time from the app. Its well worth it though for the awesome dough.
Get the italian hot dog... so good.
PPC Rocks! Do not be alarmed when you walk in and it looks kinda like a small cramped space. The food is out of this world. My favorite thing to get is the pepperoni pizza with the pretzel crust.Pretzel Pizza is really the only pizza place that I love to eat the crust on, its really that good. The service from the staff is really good as well.
Yummy. Wasnt a fan of chilly hot dog but evething eles was good.
Extremely soft, warm, and fluffy pretzels and pizza. And the server (white guy with glasses) was extremely nice.
Sandwiches on Focaccia are Poggers. Wish they still made the tuna salad.
I have visited this establishment several times because the food is delicious, and I just realize now I owe them a stellar review. I recommend stopping often, whether it’s for a hot pretzel snack or delicious ice cream. They have a good system now in Covid where you will be texted when your order is ready which is very helpful. Sorry no pictures, the food was just so good we ate it before we realized we should take pictures!
Great customer service and in a great location! The grilled chicken pesto sandwich was ok. You cannot enter the establishment, but they offer outside seating.
Awesome place for a quick bite. The pretzel twist on all the classic pizza fare keeps me coming back!
PPC has a place in my heart. I could have been described as a “regular” coming in a few times a week to either grab a frozen chai latte (they perfected it for me) or on cold days, warm up with their chili and a parmesan and spices pretzel. I have lived in Louisiana for almost five years and havent been to Frederick (to visit my friends at PPC of course) in four. Out of all the places to eat and the fun things to do in the area, I crave PPC the most. The people are fantastic and the food is always great. If it werent so far away, I would ask them to franchise down here. Its an untapped market that would be a huge success, even in the Deep South.
Pretzels and pizza sound like an outrageously amazing combo, but sadly, this place didnt live up to the 4.5 star review. We ordered garlic knots, a cheese pizza, mushroom soup, and a Reuben. The garlic knots had large chunks of garlic on them, and I truly am a garlic fan. They were one note, and aunt Annies does it better, which is pretty disappointing. The pizza was tasty. The soup may have come from a box. It lacked flavo . And initially they gave me the worn kind. Husbands Reuben was tasty but didnt have much meat. It was fine but I definitely expected more for what I paid. Sorry.
Im not really a fan of pretzels. That being said, I randomly wound up here with friends during the Fire In Ice Festival last night and ordered a chocolate espresso pretzel. It was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It wasnt too sweet. It had good flavor. It was cooked well despite how busy they were. It was soft and warm and the filling was the perfect amount. I ate it while I walked in the chilly dampness looking at the ice sculptures.
Expensive! Long wait. Call ahead and order. It was busy on Saturday. Cannot enter facility. They come out. Ring bell. My calzone was good.
Thank you Pizza Pretzel for going above and beyond!! Especially Tyler!! Their pretzel bites are delicious.
Wonderful little surprise. This little hidden Gem took me by surprise. I have walked past this place several times and decided today it was time I paid them a visit and I was not disappointed. The service was great, the food was amazing and the have a customer now for a lifetime.
I went here on a date a Recently and the service was very good and everyone was friendly, but I was not a big fan of the garlic knots. The pizza was delicious but their garlic knots for a little bit too garlicky for my taste. A friend said it depends on who is cooking them. A great environment especially with the brickwork that holds Fredericks heritage
