When a professional person goes the extra distance to accommodate your needs I believe it should be acknowledged. When I arrived at Public Storage I was hopelessly lost. I had printed a google map and was tracking Waze, but somehow I got lost anyway. It was hot [nearly 100 degrees] and I was flustered. For the past 55 years Id lived in Virginia, and now I was a Maryland transplant! Here was this kind lady, like the rest of us in the middle of a pandemic, who took the time to listen. She clearly told me everything I needed to know and helped me through the rental process. She led me through all the security bells and whistles, and I was impressed with her knowledge. With everything I needed right there, it was easy to fill up my space, thank her again, and head home - after she gave me better directions than either google or Waze. I have been a customer for several years. Ric and Layla are great. I dont have a problem getting them on the phone when I need to make payments. The unit is always clean when I visit. The lights always work. So far, it has been a great experience.I have not been to my storage unit much in the past year, but I feel pretty confident that the unit will be clean, safe, and well-lit when I do get there, and that I can leave my car unattended and open outside the unit without having any problems.Ive been a client for nearly a decade, and I am going to miss Rick and Layla when I close down this unit later this year (2019).

I am starting my third month there and have had no negative issues so far.The property is very clean and well kept and with good drainage.. Security seems very tight and the property is well lit The business owners live on site which is reassuring as well. All in all, the place is well run and maintained and I highly recommend.

He made it very easy to understand.I was asked how many items and their size and we were able to figure out what storage size I needed. After my last experience with renting a storage facility, I was prepared for the worst but I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and helpful the staff were. Really great customer service. The facility is clean and safe and I feel very comfortable knowing my valuables are there. And there are always dollies available when you need to move your things. Prices are also reasonable.

The location is very convenient, approximately 10 minutes from my home. The storage units are very clean and spacious. My main concern is the lack of dollies and the condition of the dollies they have. There should be at least 12 dollies totaled so that each customer has a better chance of having a dolly at their disposal. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, I am very pleased.

I have stored more than $10,000 in equipment with Security Public Storage for a year now and couldnt be happier. The site is completely secure behind locked gates and well-lit. My equipment wouldnt fit through the doorways on an indoor unit so I had to take an outdoor unit, so I was concerned about possible flooding. Weve had a ton of rain this year and Ive not had a single problem. I would highly recommend Security Public Storage whether you are storing expensive items or not so you can rest easy.

My experience with SPS has not only exceeded my expectations but exceeded my experiences at all 5 other storage facilities I have used. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The unit is a good price, extremely clean, and well lit. Security is solid. Bring your own disc lock (the circular ones) and avoid a deposit. My only quibble is that the dolly I used is not as robust as the ones at my last unit. Still great that they have them there. I recommend them without reservation.

Was previously unable to have full access to my unit for months during some construction they did, was not compensated in any way for the inconvience. Also have been blocked access for late payment (which i expect) but once paid current was not given access-and days later had to go into office and request to have code reactivated. Numerous occasions have gone to office during normal business hours for one reason or another (including to have access reactivated) only to find the office locked for extended periods of time.

They care about the cleanliness of their facility and the safety of your items. 5 stars and highly recommended, theyll answer any questions you have.

I highly recommend this storage facility and would use them again. I rented a unit for 2 months & just checked out today. The grounds were secure and the managers live close by, so access to help, if needed, is very convenient. Access to the facility off of Rt 40 was also very convenient. The managers, Ric & Layla Sitnek were clear, concise and business-like; I felt confident to leave my things in their care.Its difficult for me to compare costs to other facilities - size of unit, location of unit, type of unit & then what was available at the various local facilities made this complicated. My recommendation is to check out several before you commit. Luckily I did, and settled on Security Public Storage at 17 Western Drive.

This is my first experience renting a storage unit. Rick & Layla patiently explained to me how it works. Particularly, Layla helped me figure out which size of unit to meet my need, climate-controlled or not. Also, they advised me to reserve on-line for a discount (note: the rental starts the day you reserve an unit). I am happy with my rental unit. The space is clean. The rent is good, no hidden fee. The rent is month-by-month and can be prorated for extended days as long as you let them know in advance before a full month rent is charged. I returned my out-of-state UHaul truck right there (no need to drive to a Uhaul location). It is behind the WEIS supermarket which is great that you can go get water etc during your break during loading/unloading. I highly recommend this storage facility.
