Was expecting a laborious experience (bring your purchase number, valid ID, and the credit card you used to make the purchase; how much of this is REALLY needed?). Horrible customer service. Always new employees that are not trained. Manager himself has no clue what he is doing. I gave him a battery and he gave me a whole different one that I don’t need and proceeded to sell it to me. When I told him this is the wrong one, he answered that’s all we got. What a genius. Also, broke my car key while changing battery. Manager started making excuses about the employee that has been there only 2 days rather see what’s going on. Don’t do business with this place.

Very disrespectful the guy walked off when I was talking to him. He didnt want to hear my issue. He basically was saying if you arent going to listen to me. You can leave. Even on the refund I didnt get all of the refund. But he didnt care just wanted me out of the store.

I had ordered remote door opener and was told Ill get a call when part arrive . They never called I had to call in a couple times to check. Once at register the clerk stop with my check out and took orders from rest of store until it was clear. Than he program the remote which took all of 5 minutes to do but I waited 15 minutes to clear other customers behind me in line and there was 2 cashiers working on 2-20-21

Placed order online and within one hour received confirmation that my order was ready for pickup. Arrived at the store and the item was waiting and whole in-store process took less than two minutes Great customer service and associates where friendly and well informed.

Ordered my battery online after selecting my local store on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Received confirmation email that I would be contacted when it came in. I did not hear back that week so I went in to the store the following Monday to inquire. I was told they “called me twice” to ask if I wanted them to order it since they don’t stock it. I told them I thought that was the point of ordering it online but showed them zero missed calls from their number. He kinda of shrugged and insisted he did. I don’t know with today’s technology how two calls can go through the cellular towers and never reach my phone. They told me they only order on Fridays and it wouldn’t get in until the next Wednesday. Told them I wanted them to order it and left the store. When I got home I received an email stating my battery was ready for pickup. I called the store and asked them about it and they told me “it’s just how our system works.” Two weeks because it’s not understood that ordering online and prepaying means order the battery and call me when it gets here. Next time I will purchase through another vendor.

I went to the Fredericksburg, VA store to purchase a battery to replace my Jetski battery. Typically, I shop at the Chantilly, VA store where I have always had a great experience. In this store, they sold me a replacement battery, but they were unable to find the box for the battery with the instructions and screws. More concerning, I asked them if they would test the battery to see if it was fully charged. They assured me that all of their batteries are fully charged and there was no need to test it. When I returned home and installed the new battery in my Jetski, I was unable to start it because the battery was not fully charged. I had to put a charger on the battery for 4 hours to get it fully charged to start my Jetski.This is not the experience I expected to get from Batteries Plus Bulbs. I particularly sought out a BPB store instead of a Walmart to purchase my battery because I wanted an assurance of a good battery. Clearly, all BPB stores are not equal.

Your store rep installed it and was very professional. I can’t remember his name though. It is still winter so time will tell if the Duracell 27F battery will start my truck at 4:15am. 🤔 although I have every confidence it will😎

The people are great. But if you are looking for Interstate Batteries, they do not have then. You will have to go to Firestone, like I did.Also, the nearest Interstate Batteries store is in either Woodbridge or Richmond.

They actually cut car keys now also!! Super helpful, but the guy I ordered the key from (Early November) claims that he, FIRST lost my contact info so I gave it to him again. He said hed call me back....that was 3 weeks ago. Now February

When I got there for the free install they told me I didn’t need such a powerful battery, refunded my money and installed a much less expensive one. I also bought a $10 lantern and they gave me two free batteries to save me from spending $6.99 for a four pack. They clearly care about their customers more than profits. You don’t see that anymore. I needed a battery for one of the emergency lighting fixtures in my business so I called the Fredericksburg store and after giving the battery info it was in stock. Nice online experience, however when I went to the store to pick up my new John Deere replacement mower battery, they had to process my card all over again (which I had already done online), then they had to do another entire transaction to credit me core charge back. The process took 10 minutes. The system shop-online-pick-up-at-store experience needs work. Even the clerk at the store said it needed overhauling.Also, the online receipt I printed at home was nothing but huge banners and ads, using up 300 pages worth of ink for one simple receipt. Drop the fancy graphics, web designer. Think end-user in your design. It is ridiculous to use that much ink for a simple printout/receipt.

I stopped into Batteries + Bulbs in Fredericksburg, VA on a whim. It was my first time being in the store. We needed to replace the battery on our travel trailer. Id done enough research to know that I wanted a little to no maintenance battery, but beyond what Id read online I didnt know what I needed for certain. I was helped by a very nice young man named Austin. He knew EXACTLY what I was describing from my research and situation, and was able to explain the differences between types of RV batteries. I purchased an AGM type battery, and he even lugged it out to my car. In about 10 minutes, I had got what we needed. Compare that to our previous trips to 5 other stores where we either got a blank stare from the salesperson, or were told I know what youre talking about, but we dont carry them. I cant say enough about this store and the staff. I highly recommend them!
