I had been in contact with the sales rep there. I want to first say, she is very nice and my complaint has nothing against her. However, I told her I would be driving 3 hours to come look at the vehicle I wanted, I would need all information correct and in place when I got there. I was told I was approved and that all I needed to do was do a test drive. I took time off of work, drove the 3 hours, left my baby with a babysitter for NOTHING! I get there and do the test drive, yes the explorer is what I want. We go in and she tells me that my payments would be sky high. No did you figure in the car (2017 Nissan Altima)? Oh no, its not in here, let me get (Im assuming the manager), I didnt get his name. He comes in a calls the bank. Which I was told was Capital One. Says that they cannot do a trade with my car. If so, the best they can offer was $6000, and that was being generous. I had done my research and knew that was a lie! They told me I do a $7000 down payment and then they would be willing to trade the car. Otherwise, I would have to keep the car and buy the explorer straight out. BULL! I have bought and traded cars since I was 18, I know this situation by now. Just because I am a female, does not make me stupid. So, I walked out. I would recommend you NEVER go there. They are liars and crooks.I went down the street from them to another dealership and got a 2018 for the amount I was willing to put down, the monthly payment I needed and got $9000 for my car. ALSO IT WAS CAPITAL ONE WHO APPROVED THE LOAN. SO, tell me how you were doing honest business? How do you stay in business???? Again, do not waste your time with these people!HOW DO YOU OPENLY CALL PEOPLE STUPID ONLINE???? THATS SOME LOW DOWN MESS. AND YOU NEVER GOT ME WHAT I NEEDED NOR WANTED! THE LAST I SPOKE TO YOU, YOU WANTED ME TO GIVE $2600 DOWN AND A HIGH MONTHLY PAYMENT. AND TO BE LOOKING UP OTHERS REVIEWS IS SOME PETTY STUFF. MISERABLE PEOPLE
I cannot say enough good things about Sean. He went above and beyond for my husband and I during our visit at the dealership and even 2 weeks after when we would reach out to him with various questions. Phenomenal customer service and very knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a great deal on a used car, I highly recommend working with Sean W. Definitely will be back again keep up the great customer service Sean. Will be definitely recommend friends and family to him.
The guy who answers the phone is rude i could have been rude and d... if i wanted but instead here is 1 star review enjoy
I should’ve read the reviews first instead of getting killed out of 8300$ by V. WILLIAMS sales man the pushed me out the door quick fast an in a hurry DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THE CARS HAVE SAT SOLD AS IT AN BRAKES ROTOR ARE GUARANTEED TO BE WARPED SAVE YOURSELF AN EXTRA 800$-1000$ an DO NOT SHOP HERE
Mr Williams and Louie were very kind and patient during the buying process. They really worked with us to help find us a good deal. Explained everything and detailed the truck wonderfully. 10/10 service.
Great customer service from Mr.William & a great selection of used cars! check them out!
We bought a 2011 Toyota sienna about 3 months ago, the car is running great and was in perfect running order. the sales rep was friendly and easy to work with, they were willing to negotiate a little bit on the price as well. It was easy for them to work with our bank and make a down payment as well.
Thank you team imperial highline for getting me my dream car! In and out less then 30 min and financing was amazing! I highly recommend them!
We just purchased my daughters 1st car from Imperial, a 2015 Toyota Camry. The Sales Mgr, Christian, was very helpful and professional. He came in an hour early on a Sunday to help us, since we were driving 1 1/2 hours to get there. I would definitely buy from them in the future!
Please go to this dealership. Too many people knock dealerships that arent brand name but this one is incredible. My wife and I drove close to an hour to get there and it was well worth it. Multiple times, the team there stayed late (over an hour past closing) to accommodate us and help us out. I walked in expecting a specific APR but they were able to help us get a lower rate and be able to get GAP coverage. The whole staff was kind, professional, and customer focused. I never felt pressured and it was one of the best car buying experiences Ive had. I left with the exact truck I wanted at a better payment than I expected. My wife and I plan to return for our next vehicle purchase. Please go check them out, you wont regret it.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! My husband and I bought a truck from Christian and we were really happy with everything, until we left. On our way home in the new vehicle things already started to go wrong. They promised to fix MULTIPLE things and they just would never return our phone call or just say he’s waiting for his boss to bring the parts. Do not leave with your vehicle until they fix what needs to be fixed! They even promised to send another key to us in the mail and we never even got that! The place is trash and I will continue to tell everyone whos willing to listen, to NOT waste their money on this joke of a dealership!
These guys don’t care about people’s safety they will sell you anything for the money! Sold my husband and I a car that almost claimed our lives on the freeway. It died in the middle of fast traffic. Thanks to good samaritans who gave as a hand. So inconsiderate these dealership we even asked them for a trade in nothing it’s about the money. In such tough times they should be concerned about people’s safety and customer satisfaction. Even though you are selling someone a car that is As as Is at list sell them something that is safe. We regret having shopped a car here, we shall never buy here and please word of advice don’t take your money here go to genuine place like CarMax or Carvana get a descent reliable car from trusted dealerships!
Great job! Awesome trucks at great prices. Stopped in to see a Ram 1500. Very nice truck and good price. They let me test drive it and take it to get check over by a shop. IF you are going to buy a used car you have to get it looked over! (A few dealers i stopped said they couldnt let their trucks go get looked at) No issue with Imperial. Came back with a few things needed(expected for a used car) The finance manager came in looked over the report and worked out a great deal. Must say very nice guys, and very down to earth and fair. Not my 1st time buying a used car, but this will not be my last buy from Imperial Auto!!! Thank you Mr. Williams, Sean and Marino Awesome Crew!
I love my dart!!! Chris was the best person I worked with. He was funny, helpful and a good salesman. Id buy another car from him!
Christion Evans is the best sales associate I have ever came in to contact with! Thank you for your kindness and professionalism! Go check him out & buy a car from him!!!
Id just like to say a big thank you to Mario, Mike, and April for their patience and cooperation with me as a buyer and the great, down-to-earth service they gave me. They made sure the car was immaculate and what minor fixes it needed were done. I drove 4 hours from North Carolina to see the Audi S8 they had listed and the pictures and description did not do this car justice. Mike worked with me the entire week, setting up a time that was convenient for me and also gave me a GREAT deal on financing and the extended warranty. Mario helped me get acquainted with the car and April nailed the paperwork. I highly recommend Imperial Auto Sales to anyone, in the local area or out of state, that needs a great car along with top-notch service to match. Thanks guys.
Do not buy from this establishment. They are shady and dishonest. I purchased a car 6 months ago and there were more issues wrong with the car then I was told about. I spoke to the manager who gave me the run around and the owner never returned my calls. I had to sink extra money into the car beyond what was told to me. And to boot I had to put gas in the car after purchasing it just to get home. They promised to send me the extra key to the car and once I finally got it, it didnt even work.
Great place, alot of cars! Sales guy was very nice. Thank you Chris
I worked with Christion and found the perfect car for me. He was honest, friendly, and wasnt pushy at all. They have a great selection of cars.
Best Dealership Ive been to in a long time! Fast service and great people skills. I recommend this dealership to others. Oh and by the way I didnt not get sold a piece of junk because I just came back from the Nissan dealership today and everything checks out on my car just FYI.
The people were really professional and the car I got is fantastic (clean, not a thing wrong with it). They were upfront and honest and very responsive to any concerns we had. Most importantly, the salesman did not pressure me at all. It was a very relaxed experience.
DONT BUY FROM HERE!! THEY SELL LEMON CARS AND TRUCKS!! THEY SOLD US ONE SAYING IT IN GOOD SHAPE AND IT WASNT. We called them question them and they refuse to answer some of the questions.
Super nice and Great customer service. I feel we received a very fair trade in value and received a fair price on the vehicle we purchased. Word to the wise: You are buying an AS IS vehicle with no warranty, in other words, buyer beware. So dont blame them if something goes wrong when you get home. I do not regret my purchase at all! Love my new truck! And yes, I had to repair some things....
There is a plethora of vehicles of different varieties. Very nice and clean. It took a couple of days to get to where we needed to be, but Mr. Williams was the guy to see. We are very pleased with our selection and we very much appreciate his help and efforts!
GREAT JOB GUYS. Been here before with a friend looking at cars. COMPLETELY NEW STAFF!!!!!! Must say I didnt want to stop here again but very glad I did. Isaac was a great guy took very good care of me and didnt make me feel like just another sale. The manager was very nice and very helpful worked with me and gave me a great deal and a fair value for my trade( I wanted more, but dont we all ). I couldnt be happier with them and my new Honda. Must say they did an amazing thing with the staff and store. DEF sending my friends that way. Thanks again guys!
For all out of state customers run. They wont give you a warranty and wont fix anything that might fail inspection even though they agreed to help me out if anything failed. They tell you every time you call that they will call you back and never do. Bought a $20,000 vehicle from them. When I went through inspection several things failed and cost me over $1,000 to fix. The salesman will lie to you and the finance officer will change the agreed price right at the end. Run!!!!!!! Failed inspection because of tires, windshield, and broken studs on exhaust manifold. Tires wear a safety issue not rated for the truck. Windshield had a chip that started to spread. I called Imperial several times and kept getting let me call my Manassas store and Ill get back with you before the end of day. No call backs from them. Make them write all promises on paper or theyll screw you. Good thing Im a hard worker and was able to have all inspection issues fixed before my temporary tags expired. They were planning on leaving me hanging out to dry. No inspection certificate would have left me after 30 days with no tags on a $20,000 vehicle I just bought
Bought a Jeep last year during tax season and I felt very confident about my purchase. My sales rep AV gave me great insight on the cars in the lot and the ones that best fit my needs. Im coming back when i get more car buying money lol
Great service got a great deal. I would defiantly recommend. Great job guys keep it up!
The staff here is so welcoming and professional. Found the car of my dreams and they made the process easy as pie.... I might have made it accidentally longer of process hahah, but over the best dealership I’ve been to, better than most of the bigger ones and this one has Solid cars, with Carfax and reasonably priced cars. 5 stars from here to Jupiter. Highly recommended!
I bought a 2013 lexus es 350 from imperial auto the car was well maintained and runs flawlessly. My sales person christion was extremely helpful, patient, and accommodating. He took his time gave me numbers on multiple cars I had looked at, and was more than willing to let me test drive the car for as long as i needed. My experience with christion and imperial auto has been excellent, if your in the market for a used car I would stop by and check them out.
I cannot say enough great things about my experience buying my car from Imperial Auto. The manager, Mike George, went above and beyond to provide the best customer service. Due to my work schedule, the only day I was able to come in was a Sunday, which was also Father’s Day. Mike came in on his day off to assist me. I drove from 2 hours away due to the excellent deal he was able to work out for me. I am a first time buyer and he got me a great interest rate and a payment plan within my budget. From the moment my family and I walked in the door, Mike and Mario both made us feel so welcome and were willing to do whatever it took to make us comfortable throughout the car buying process. Mike made sure our experience was as easy and quick as possible. Customer service is definitely their top priority. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone and look forward to purchasing from them again in the future.
Great customer service!! amazing selection of cars on there lot!! you have to check them out!! i had the best experience with imperial highline!! easy IN & OUT!!! thank you imperial highline for making this easy for me!
If you’re reading the reviews PLEASE LOOK AT THE OWNER RESPONSES!!!! They are defending themselves and explaining the situations of these 1-star reviews!Bought my Camry from them and I am in LOVE! Mr Williams was with me from the first phone call to the final goodbye. My car has a couple scratches on it but it’s 6 years old... it’s expected! I am in love with my car and even more in love with my payment.Thank you for everything!!!!
Zero stars if were an option. Please do NOT trust this dealership. They are the definition of deceptive. We drove over two hours to buy a truck that they claimed was in good condition. However upon arriving and inspection the body was rusted out, the bed was rusted to the point where repair wouldn’t be possible without significant investment. The online photos were taken to hide major flaws on the vehicle like significant tears in the leather, bowed bed liner, holes Under the bed liner from over rusting, poorly covered up patch jobs where severe rust has set in. Honestly, I’ve never felt so sickly from an experience purchasing a vehicle. Under the frame, some parts were so corroded they could be removed without effort. When we inquired about possible rust, nothing was disclosed. We should’ve known when contacting them for information and pricing became a hassle where we would be the ones following up for everything requested. When we let them know about the issues they just agreed and said thanks. No Apology or remorse for the time they wasted. Will be reporting them to the BBB to warn other consumers. A five hour drive but a valuable lesson learned.
Best experience I have had buying a car. The staff made me feel comfrontable. The car that I got was flawless. They know what they are doing!! Great business!!
EASIEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! No tricky high pressure sales tactics, no pushy sales people, NO DRAMA, easy financing! I highly recommend anyone to Imperial. Mario was my sales person. He immediately made me feel at ease. He treated me with respect and knew I had done my research. He wasnt pushy and had a Heres the vehicle, take it for a spin and let me know what ya think. Attitude. 2days later I purchased that vehicle. Its was $5,000 below market value so I didnt have to haggle. I filled out the paperwork and Mike, the GM, told me the financing was approved. The bank was requiring gap insurance. Mike said the gap insurance was a ridiculous requirement considering the down payment. 5 days later Mike called. I need you to come in and redo paperwork Why? Because he got my payment lowered over $20 a month by getting the bank to take off the gap insurance. Not only do I have a reliable vehicle but Ive gained 3 friends. I will refer family, friends and clients to this dealership without an ounce of worry. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM,
My fiance and I purchased a truck from Imperial Auto last weekend 6/16. During the purchase they took $500 off without us even asking. I asked for an additional $500 off since the truck was missing features that we needed. They declined which is fine. They are int he market to make money. I then asked that they split it with me and go for $250. They declined. At the end of the day we did end up purchasing the truck from them. Immediately we noticed that the tires needed to be balanced as the truck had a lot of vibration to it. No big deal thats not difficult to get done. Well we have now owned the truck for 5 days and this morning my fiance had to bring it in to a shop to have the brakes checked out as they were grinding. $320 later with new rotors and pads we now have functioning brakes again. The vehicle has a recent inspection on it and the brake pads were nonexistent. There is no way they passed inspection so I have to wonder how reputable they are if they will sell a vehicle with bad brakes on it and an inspection that shouldnt have passed. They only part of our experience that was good is that the person who sold us the truck was nice and the office was clean. They were great with our kids and even had crayons and coloring books for them to use while we did paperwork. Those reasons are the only reason I gave them a fair rating. If not for that they would get a poor rating. Outside of that I wont purchase from then again. If they will pass a vehicle with almost no brakes then I have to question what else they cover up. Definitely not an honest dealership.
I purchased a truck from them that had a passed VA inspection sticker from only two weeks prior to my purchase. The truck was a 2014 in a good condition, so I did not worry about some of the items that I may otherwise with a used vehicle because the vehicle passed inspection. However, that was a huge mistake!I live in Maryland, so I had to do a MD inspection, and thank God I did because I found out before serious problems resulted that both front wheel bearings were bad, so bad there is about ½” play in them when shaking the tire. Whether they were bad before or not, driving from Fredericksburg to Rockville with bad bearings also damaged the u-joint on one side.I spoke to VA State Trooper about this dealer as well as the inspector and this not the first complaint against this business. In the end I feel I must put out a very strong WARNING against working with this dealership. You can’t trust the mechanics they use, the state inspectors they use, and I think the salesmen are stuck trying to sell vehicles that are overpriced and with shotty fixes to make them presentable on the lot, but you would not want for any vehicle you own. BUYER BEWARE, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND SKIP THIS DEALER, there are so many in the area to choose from. After $1,556 to make this truck drivable and pass inspection and a week later, I finally can drive the truck and finding more. It was listed with power assisted pedals, it DOES NOT have. It came with one key and the cut doesn’t work in the door so now I have to pay a locksmith to make new. They post the following on listing for the truck, “Passed Thorough Dealer Inspection” “No Known Mechanical Problems” “This Vehicles Has Been Through VA State Inspection And Has Been Professionally Detailed So Our Customers Can Always Feel Comfortable And Excitement While Purchasing There Vehicle From Us And Becoming A New Member Of Our Family!”*UPDATE* Added after response from Imperial Auto.Imperial did over $300 for the cost of wheel bearings after a week of numerous calls and emails, I had to fight hard for that! They offered that for the cost of the wheel bearings, even though the wheel bearings, good ones, were $375 each. They also did offer for me to bring the truck back to the dealer to fix which would be an hour drive for me, to leave it overnight and they would fix. The truck at this point was not drivable without risk because the wheel the bearings, so I would have to pay for towing.Regardless, I did not trust their mechanic who is likely the one who have the bogus inspection and I want putting wheel bearings on a heavy duty truck that cost $180 for a pair, they sent me screenshot of what they wanted to use and it was the same you find in Amazon. I wouldnt put those on a heavy duty truck that I would use for hauling and plowing! I also know that if they did the work they would have left on the u-joints which were also bad, I wouldve had to find that out later the hard way.As to the discount, before all this, at the beginning of the sale, the salesmen offered me $500 off, not based on anything wrong with the truck, he was just trying to make the sale. I asked for another $500 off because I knew the rotors were bad and the windows all had deep scratches on them. They accepted my offer which was $500 lower than their offer to me, sure that adds up to $1,000 off the list but that was the offer they accepted and that is still all based on a vehicle that otherwise had an inspection sticker and that discount was NOT for bad wheel bearings!Bottom line and fact, the inspection was falsified by whoever they use. Dont trust their vehicles without taking them to your own mechanic first. Again, according to the state trooper, who was not surprised, Im not the first. They made no attempt to work things out with me, as I said I had to fight hard for just that $300. The idea that they would tell me retroactively that the $1,000 less from their list price should cover repairs for items that were find out after the purchase, is laughable and says much about their character and integrity.
After visiting over half a dozen used car dealerships within a one hour radius, I found a great car for my wife here. The car was very, very clean and was exactly what i was looking for. They have a great selection of very clean, well priced used cars. Highly recommended.
Mike made sure I was 100% happy with the car before leaving the lot! They were very helpful and made the process of buying a new car very simple. I would definitely go back and purchase a car from them again.
These guys are at the top of the list of shady. Promise you one price verbally then renege when it comes down to putting it on paper. Also did not follow through on other promised items. Make sure you dot all your Is and cross Ts with these guys.
Update **Forgot to mention in my earlier post that Imperial Auto also facilitated in housing my old vehicle for a week before I could make arrangements to have it picked up for donation. A ++ for Imperial! **I was a first time car buyer scanning the car lots along route 1. After 6 previous dealerships we ended up at Imperial Auto. It had already been a long day by the time we stumbled our way over to lot where we were immediately greeted by Mr. Williams. I introduced myself and we talked for a coupe of minutes and without hesitation Mr. Williams offered to let me test drive a truck I had my eyes on. They worked hard and were very personable, gave great explanations, and made the whole experience a relatively painless one. Thank you all to everyone at Imperial Auto.
Bought a Dodge Ram 1500 from these guys a couple years ago, just remembered my experience with them as im browsing through trucks and I see Imperial Auto popped up. The salesman who sold me the truck was Mario. Nice enough guy. When buying the truck, they were only able to locate one of the keys to the vehicle at the time. Told me they would send the extra one to me in the mail when they found it. Called back about a week and they said they couldnt find the key. I asked them to pay for a replacement. They wouldnt, and they basically told me tough. Probably my fault for being to trusting, but thought theyd do the right thing. Im sure they didnt care, they already got my money. Anyway, my point in writing this review, is that I found a truck on CarGurus that I would be interested in, but based on my previous experience with them, it wouldnt matter how nice the truck is or how good of a deal they had. Bottom line, I would not return to do business with them.
Always great service. Have bought 4 cars from here and never a problem.
Decent inventory and staff is polite. They stand behind their sales. Definitely recommend them for a reasonable used vehicle.
Made an appointment to see the Jeep, drove 2 hours to see the suv and he said he sent in to get work done. I don’t understand why he Didn’t communicate what with be before the drive. Unprofessional!!!! Will being taking my Business elsewhere.
We made an appointment since the hours are by appointment only on Sundays, but when we arrived nobody was there.
**Update: Got exactly what I wanted for my car at Discovery Ford in Alta Vista. I guess KBB and 3 other dealers were right about my trade.***TRUST THESE REVIEWS PEOPLE! I should know better. I saw they had quite a few bad reviews, but I thought I would give them a try. Big mistake. I drove two and a half hours to look at a specific vehicle. I even called to make sure they knew how far I was driving and to make sure it was there. They assured me that it would be. I get there and they have a vehicle that was $6000 more, running and ready out front. I let them know its the wrong vehicle. They tell me that the one I specifically came to see is in the shop and that I should come back tomorrow. They thought I might like the one out front instead. It couldnt hurt to check it out even though I knew this was the old bait and switch. Everything was broken, dented, or damaged, on this vehicle they were asking $25995! Dented hood, broken tail light, standing water inside the vehicle, damaged top, a screw in the tire, dead battery (they jumped it before I got there), and the list goes on. Then they have the audacity to use auction sheets to value my car. If you know the business, no self respecting dealer even mentions the auctions let alone try to undercut your trade with last weeks auction numbers. I didnt fight with them I let Williams (the salesman) know that the vehicles were not clean and clear (or even present) like he promised and I simply drove back home 2.5 hours.
[2nd response]Again, this has NOTHING to do with an offer - just answering my 2 very basic questions - again, this is ANOTHER Red Flag that you both don’t seem to get it - which I appreciate because it further confirms not to purchase from you. It seems to me that if your read ALL the Owners responses, you will see a PATTERN of blaming the customers and not understanding the situation and clearly no transparency or accountability at this business and any sense of Customer Service.Again, THANK YOU for confirming every honest feedback that your business model is consistent.///Break[This is my FIRST ever google review, but thought it was IMPERATIVE to write one for this particular situation]On Monday (5/27) afternoon close to 4pm, I visited the dealership to look at a Honda Maroon Ridgeline with a Mr. Williams. I had been previously communicating with Mr. Williams regarding this car and wanted to physically look at the car. Upon my arrival, I began to ask Mr. Williams very general questions regarding any services recently conducted on the car in which Mr. Williams was VERY COMBATANT and Defensive in responding to very simple questions.Never raised my voice or demanded anything, but it was very clear that Mr. Williams was either having a BAD Day OR he is in the WRONG business. Now, typically I would ask for the owner to assist me but I thought this was probably several RED FLAGS that I should not purchase from this business. Here are some of my questions, and Mr. Williams responses:My question: Was this car purchased from a private seller or an auction?Williams Response: Why does it matter? My question: Are you aware of any recent services done on the car since its been on your lot?Williams Response: I have 30+ cars on the lot, Im not going to know that! Your just wasting my time, are you going to buy or NOT?I was confused....is it the sellers responsibility to have the knowledge to answer basic questions about the car or is it the sellers responsibility to ask if im serious or not?...Again, these were ALL SIGNS for me that this was not the dealership that I should be buying a car from...Oh, Mr. Williams to answer your question, Yes, I had ALL CASH in my pocket to buy it that day....only if you could have answered 2 Basic questions for me.
Great customer service from team imperial highline!! i highly recommend them to my friends & family!!
Wouldnt recommend this place to nobody they have some nice vehicles but they try to rip you off I bought a vehicle from them well they cleaned it and it broke down never left there hands they got it running again 3 days later and delivered it to my house well the wife drove it said it had a vibration so I drove it and got a trustworthy mechanic to put a scan tool on it it had transmission problems and a rear caliper sticking asked them to fix it and they totally to ignore me and said they cant put anymore money into it other than to just get away I have now learned there turning off the check engine lights or pulling the bulbs to get it sold and they dont care whats wrong with it and there gonna sell it to you for full price no matter if it has a major issue or how dangerous the issue is they will not tell you about it
I guess, if you have no other place to go. Just be careful with what you sign for.
Terrible Service. We drove 3 hours to take a look at a car they had, the salesman was aware of our long travel and so tried to use that to his advantage. He didn’t give us the attention we should have gotten as a customer, rather he continued to chat along with a friend of his that stopped by. We sat and waited, just hanging out in the parking lot of the dealership until we felt disgusted, got in our car and drove away.
Could not be happier with my new car! Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would most definitely recommend! Thanks Marino!!
Great dealership!!!, Mario, Mike, Bobby very straightforward salespersons, I definitely recommend them. Those guys help you all the way of the process, from the moment that you step in to their office to the moment of leaving the lot with or without a vehicle. Good prices!!
I bought a used Subaru from this company back in March 2017. I mentioned wanting to get roof racks from the Subaru dealership and the manager offered to buy the racks for cheaper than the dealership can offer. I gave them $200 for the racks and when they came in they did not fit my car. I specifically asked for roof racks made for my specific Subaru, but that is not what I received. I voiced my concern about the roof racks not being made for my specific car and the manager refused to accept he got the wrong ones. Instead I was told I should be thankful the manager wanted to help me out because he did this as a courtesy to me. The manager said he would send the racks back and give me the refund once he received it. Fast forward to four months later and I STILL have not received my money back. I have been very calm with the company calling every week and asking for an update and they always say, Marino (the manager) is busy and will call you back. I have been asking to speak to the manager for months and he has not called me back once!! Every time I call I get the same run around. The secretary at Imperial Auto has mocked me, hung up on me, and told me it is not our problem you didnt receive the money. Its yours. She has given me false information on the whereabouts of my refund and has been nothing but rude. TAKE YOUR SERVICE ELSE WHERE. After buying my used Subaru in March I have spent over $1,700 fixing the unknown damages made from the previous owner. All that and they cant refund me the money I gave them for a product and service they promised me? There are plenty of used car dealerships in the Fredericksburg area I have had great experiences with but this is not one of them.
Great place, Great deal on my truck. Thank you guys!!!!! helped me get approved on my 1st car LOVE MY TRUCK!
As a fellow business owner, I hate giving other businesses low ratings. In this instance, I want to warn potential buyers to the type of individuals and company you potentially will be purchasing a vehicle from. I purchased a car that had been jerry-rigged in a potentially dangerous manner that I am 100% confident they knew about because it impacted the vehicle during extremely tight turns within parking spaces (they have a crowded lot and maneuvering in tight places would require that). One week before the catastrophic failure we noticed a bang a couple of times when turning turning into parking spaces. Fast forward one week past that (2 weeks after the car purchase) my wife and kids and driving in a parking lot (leaving a parking space) and there is literally the loudest metal clang/boom Ive ever heard associated with a vehicle. Shrapnel is all under the car and there is engine oil running from the front part of the engine. Turns out the differential was repaired with two long bolts that didnt fit into the drive shaft. The friction caused the bolts holding the differential in place to snap and since the connecting areas were uneven also caused damage to the metal areas around the bolts. The shrapnel went up in the engine area and severed all the oil lines leading to the engine and punctured the oil filter putting a huge hole in it.That shrapnel could have easily gone the other way damaging my kids/wife/family. I contacted them after getting the diagnosis and fix. They did not offer to assist or offer any apologies for selling a dangerous vehicleYou have a choice. You dont have to go here and you shouldnt. Also, watch them during contract signing, they will add in additional add ons you dont need (gap insurance, warranties with little coverage, etc)
Polite, professional, clean cars!!!! Marino seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Clean store!!
Liars cheats and thieves dont trust them they tried to hide 6000 dollors in my financeing and when i caught them they refused to sell me the truck buyer beware
This is the WORST dealership to go to. I put $2400 for a downpayment and was told I couldnt get a refund because I put miles on it going back and forth from Richmond, only having the car for a week, in attempt to get these people that sold it to me in the first place to FIX IT...2hrs just to have a salesmans supervisor say wed have to charge you for mileage $2100 on the Honda!!!Mr. Williams was professional up until I had an issue and put the bank on Pause because the car did not have working AC and the CHECK ENGINE light after a failed attempt stills comes on and causes the car to JERK as if theres a TRANSMISSION ISSUE. Why sell a car if it doesnt work properly???!! And why catch an attitude and say, do I need to say it in a different language because he thought I needed to continue the loan despite my complaints about the maintenance I felt needed to be dealt with FIRST! THAT WAS A RACIAL SLUR as well. When I first looked at the car, a latina person was with me!I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO DRIVE A CAR TO GET FROM POINT A TO B OR HAS A FAMILY...DOOOO NOOOOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They need to be reported to the BBB!!! Have a lawyer ready if you dont believe me! These complaints Im reading now I wish to God I read before I chose to come here! They deserve a 0 rating!
Purchase a car three weeks ago, the sales guy gary was really nice but dont let that fool you. When i test drove the car it needed the oil change and before even signing the papers was told they wasnt going to do it but it was something manner so me and my boyfriend proceed with the purchase. Just 3 days after i purchase the car it started to shake really bad when i made turns. I took it to Nissan where they kept if for about a week to tell me there was a hose leaking under the hood and the all wheel drive is messed up in the truck and it wasnt something that went bad in 3 days. They new the truck was like that before I brought it. Dont no i repeat do not purchase from them they are very nice but i just kick out over $300 on a car having it under 30 days.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Didnt even know the make and model of the SUV they were trying to sell, and gave me the run around for almost THREE WEEKS about a vehicle I was interested in buying, eventually I just gave up and went elsewhere.
Although I only looked and didnt purchase here, I found the staff very friendly. They went out of thier way to show me everything I was interested in. Probably the best selection of pre-owned trucks in Fredericksburg.
I messaged about a mustang got an email back responded the same day, never heard anything back. Got text responded within 3 hours never heard back and then they sold the car I was looking at. The problem with your explanation is I emailed on the 5th and didnt get any sort response until the 9th. So it takes that long to work out details to ship it, and never asked if I would put a deposit down to hold the car.
Purchased a 2005 trail blazer from here a few weeks ago. Seems to me like the vehicle was fixed to perform well for awhile then show its problems. Classic scam. Transmission problems that the dealership refuses to assist with. Do not invest money here. The world is full of sharks.
Where do I start. Well 1st, great cars. We pulled up to the lot and by far one of the most organized lots we visited. Great selection of cars and trucks. The salesmen came out to greet us as soon as we stepped out of the car. Nice guy very helpful. We came to see a few different trucks. He pulled them out and let us drive a few of them. Then the hard part, getting the best price and financing for us. Walked inside and fill out a credit application. Within 20 mins the finance manager walked over to give us the news. He got us approved with $0 down and a low monthly payment. Very happy we asked if they could do any better on the price, he made a call to the owner, and worked out discount for us. Super nice guys, very down to earth. We didnt feel like just another sale.Got a great deal, and couldnt be happier.Thank you again Val & Marino. Also the detailer did an AMAZING job cleaning up the truck for us to take home.
We bought a 2012 Chevy Silverado a few months ago and my husband looked at trading in and getting a car somewhere else.. Little did we know the trade in value for the truck was significantly lower because its a Canadian truck. No where was it disclosed to us that this truck was from Canada and we did not know how badly that effects the value of the vehicle. So we overpaid for the truck and may never get what we should for it. INSPECT THE VEHICLE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BUY - If it has a maple flag sticker on the inside of the door run away! The values are 5000 less..
Need to get my refund on exteneded warranty other then that great business great car q50 was awsome until totalled it... will do buisness again after we work out the problem im sure be settled
My experience with Imperial was very great I was taking very well care of and the people they are very knowledgeable about the vehicles
Please whoever reads my review trust and believe DO NOT buy there junk. I purchased a 4 door pickup truck from them and have had nothing but problems. It was sold with a fresh inspection sticker and had bad breaks and rotors. I also have had to put a new transmission in it. Its been the worse purchase my wife and I have ever done. They obviously get illegal inspections on there vehicles. Before buying they said they were gonna replace broken door handle so I dropped it off and picked it up later to find that they super glued it back together instead of replacing it. WHAT A JOKE OF A DEALER PLEASE BEWARE AND DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. The salesmen are great con artist and nothing but RIP off gipsys.
GREAT EXPERIENCE, I WILL DIFFIDENTLY REFER MY FAMILY & FRIENDS
Frankly, Im confused. My son and I stopped in on 7/4 and found a beautiful 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 that was perfect for his needs. The truck had recently been purchased at auction. Carfax showed that there had been a state inspection SINCE the auction, on 6/30. Sticker on the windshield was brand new. Rear tires were nearly bald. Front tires were a little better but had visible dry rot in the tread. Front right step bar was broken. Salesman said they still needed to state inspect the truck and prep for sale, but could offer no explanation as to how it came to the lot with a passing inspection, done under their watch, but pledged that the side steps would be replaced with factory equipment. Far from necessary...but thats what he said. Even said we could have the broken ones after they were removed. Also stated several times that ALL FOUR tires would be replaced. Finally, my son noticed fluid seeping from the transmission. I brought this to the salesmans attention and he said they would check it out. My son, excited about his first purchase has been in constant contact with them since. Today, my son was told that the side steps were not replaced but repaired. No big deal. Thats all I would have asked....but thats not what was promised. Tires? Only the rear tires were replaced. Nothing was stated about the transmission. With no warranty, thats a chance we cant afford to take.Honestly, the salesman was friendly and very accommodating. Maybe too much so. Just glad we didnt place the $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit that was suggested. The situation seemed too good to be true from the start. Ive been waiting all week for the outcome that my gut told me was coming. Broken promises...and for no apparent reason. So yeah..........Im confused. No matter. Were looking for another truck.
Very nice staff. Knowledgeable staff and not pushy.
What a joke! Such an absurd experience that at one point I thought someone would jump out from behind one of the crapy cars and yell smile you are on camera.I drove an hour to see a car I was sworn was in pristine condition. I get there and the vehicle looked fresh off a junk yard. When we asked the salesman about the basketball size rusted dent on the bumper and back door he said: oh?! does that bother you?.Are you kidding me? It was so bad I couldnt even stay mad. I laughed all the way to an honest place not too far from this dump and bought a great car!
Awesome dealership! Between the Fredericksburg, VA location and the Manassas, VA location they have a number of nice cars to choose from. Drove 3 hours yesterday (4/17//13) to look at a car because the price was right. Ended up buying the car, and love it! The customer service was great, by the end of the day my friend ended up trading in his car and purchasing a car from them too. Great prices on great cars. Dealer/salesmen seemed up front and honest and not too pushy to purchase anything, but good at suggesting. Did well to work with me on my credit options and worked hard to get me the lowest rate possible since I am a first time buyer. They found me a great APR and monthly payments that worked within my price range/monthly allowance. All around great dealership would definitely buy from them again and would recommend them to anyone I know (they have huge variety of used german cars to choose from!).
I located the car through carfax read the carfax report and decided I wanted to purchase it and I did just that. I purchased it at the Stafford location on September 16, 2016. After purchasing it I called the the salesman back telling him of the problems I found with it. The radio, windows and mirrors didnt work. The brakes were spongey feeling and it had a vibration when thy were applied. I live an hour and a half away from them. Within a week ( September 21st) I had to have the oil changed because the computer said 0% oil life. The salesman said it had just been inspected and it had a current VA sticker in the window. I live in Maryland and I have it inspected (October 8th) and it fails. The ASE certified mechanic says you need to return this vehicle its a safety hazard. I call them back to relay what was told to me, they say he is with a customer he will call you back. I call again. The Md inspection report reveals the car has major safety issues and they were: tire rod ends, upper and lower control arms, oil leak, brakes, rack and pinion, and tires with different speed ratings. I contact them again and they set me up an appointment (October 10th) with Metri Car Stero in Fredricksberg to have the radio, windows and mirrors fixed. On October 3rd I make a follow up call to inquire about the parts and he assumes me the parts will be there when I arrive. I arrive and Don the owner of Metric Car Stereo asks if I had the parts. I shouldve known better. I call they tell me that Carmen at the Highline office is working on getting the parts to us. well Don is half way done with the radio and still no parts. I have to drive up to Radledy Chevy to retrieve the part for the windows and the mirror switch had never been ordered. Carmen who was supposed to have been getting parts was off due to the holiday. Now I have the car re-inspected (October 15th) in Va and it should have never passed Va inspection. Now I cant get tags for MD. The salesman says I bought the car As is and the Owner Mr. Waheen will not do any repairs I need to check with the warranty and see what they fix. As is means inspection ready. If I bought it as is then why did they reimburse me for the oil change and start making repairs? To me these people prey on those that have less than perfect credit and dont stand behind their products they sell. Shady dont trust them.
I bought a car, to find out that had issues same day of the deal, called The guy who sold me the car (Marino) told him the car has issues he told me i shouldnt asked worry about it the noise will go away in a day or two, then when i realised the car has issues i asked change of the car or to have my money back, the guy told me he was not going to return the money back neither exchange to a different car, and on top of that he threatening me that he will post my information as a volunteer reposition to my credit report, i called the bank that i financ the car with they told me they should return my money back since im still on 45 days buy back and i told them still they still refuse to give me my money back and i belive their doing this because iam a woman, if was a guy like them they shouldnt do this, the Manage here is supper nasty and he is the one who sold me a car, i was thinking of getting a different car but right at this minute i dont want non of their car. I was told to call the owner i try to call couple times and the person answer the phone told me he was not in the office, i live two hours away from their office, i have been in their office for more than 4times, still they dont want to help me. Dont wast your time coming here because they will sale you a junk and still wont be nice to you either, the only person who has been listening to me and try to figure out how he can help me is the guy by name ISSACK, he even agree with me that it was not nice the way i was treated and he was trying to see if he can help me some how. NOT HAPP WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL! Nasty manager with nasty attitude! Now im still at their office waiting for their Big boss to call me, but i dont want a car from them!!!!
Okay, I gave Imperial Motors 2 stars so let me explain and you can be the judge. I went on Car Gurus and found what looked like a great deal at Imperial Motors. I am a 3 hours drive away so I called and spoke to a Salesman Mario. I am very interested but I am 3 hours away so I would have to negotiate via phone before I drove all the way there. I tried to negotiate the price down just by $1,000.00 he became disinterested in the sale and would not get back to me after a few attempts to call them back to ask more questions. Mario finally picked up his phone after calling several times. He said he was busy with other customers. I was able to speak to the sales manager in the absence, in the defense of Imperial Motors. They were fixed on the list price and would not come down. Even with my own financing 5k down and a easy transaction for them they still would not budge. Good for them bad for me. Fast forward... after long discussions with my wife I bit the bullet and decided the truck look so nice advertised on their website that I would come out of pocket that exceeded my budget and purchase the truck. I called them and told them I was going to make the 3hr one way trip up to them to test drive and ultimately procure this truck. They said great (Go figure). I had decided that I would pay a 3rd party mechanic $65.00 to do a presale inspection on the truck after I test drove it. It was a 2011 Chevy 2500HD 4x4. I arrived at the dealership and they had the truck parked out front waiting for me. It was a beautiful truck, just like the pictures. My first impression was they must have sprayed a ton of carpet cleaner inside this truck. It was a heavy dose of cleaner enough to give the least sensitive person to smell like me a freaking headache. I can deal with this smell for now and eventually it will get better but what were they trying to cover up??? The next thing that caught my attention was the (TPMS) lights were on. A sensor that looks like this (!) on the dash. That was odd and concerning. I test drove the truck anyway. I took it to the 3rd party mechanic for the pre sales inspection for added peace of mind. This is where things get very confusing. The 3rd party mechanic gave me a two page print out of everything that is wrong with this truck. I could not believe I drove 3hrs and Imperial Motors of Fredericksburg knew of my arrival and they would try to sell me a truck that had so many things wrong with it!?! The biggest thing the 3rd party Mechanic said was the 4x4 did not work. What?? Yeah, they said the 4x4 did not work! I thought that was strange because I tested it myself and it worked in 4 hi and 4 low just fine when engaged. Then they went down the list of all the different (CODES) their computer found. (TPMS) (ABS) (4 different codes for the trailer brakes). The breaks were at 2/32 and noise coming from the rear-end (Whatever that means) and I never hear any noise. Anyway, I was livid that I drove all the way up to Fredericksburg and Imperial Motors tried to sell me a piece of crap that was advertised and verbally sold as a solid truck. I went back to speak with Mario and the sales manager about this and they were in disbelief and ensured me that they would never try to sell me a truck in that condition. That and I quote If that truck had that many problems with it, it would have never passed their inspection that all of their vehicles go through and they would have sent it back to auction. So they asked me to get a second opinion on the truck through a trusted mechanic (meaning their mechanic) After inspection the 2nd time their mechanic said the 4x4 worked fine and the breaks were at 4/32 not 2/32, no noise from the rear-end and all the codes were due to the aftermarket wheels not having the TPMS sensors installed. Imperial Motors installed all 4 TPMS Sensors and that fixed the problem. All is good with this truck and it is a SOLID truck. I purchased the truck and since then I had to replace the breaks and the exhaust manifold has a leak. Freaking awesome! Buyer Beware is all I can say.
Nice cars and good costumer service
