Most thorough eye exam Ive had in the 30 years Ive been wearing glasses.

This was my first eye exam in nearly a decade, and it was a pleasant experience. The receptionist was kind and responsive to my queries about the process.Doc was thorough, enthusiastic, and engaged throughout the entire process. I feel like she wanted me to know everything that she was doing so I could understand and better manage my care.Also, they have changing table in the bathroom for any parents out there.

Oh my gosh! What a fantastic experience with Dr. Grosset and her staff!! My glasses had a small problem so I was looking for a quick appointment to get them fixed as well as to get a check up. In light of COVID-19, I figured my chances were slim to none. After trying several other places and being told it would be end Q1-2021 before I could be seen, Debbie was able to get me in to see Dr. Grosset.Dr. Grosset took the time to understand my needs, concerns, answered all my questions, and was so super friendly. FINALLY a doctor that understands light sensitivity. I normally keep my home very dark and wear very dark sunglasses as bright lights or harsh lights really bother me. Dr. Grosset understood this issue and took the time to appreciate my struggles.I am new to Fredericksburg and I must say that for the first time since wearing glasses/contacts, she has been by far the best darn eye doctor Ive ever had.

Absolutely cannot say enough good things about my visit to Eyes in the Burg. Under challenging Covid-19 circumstances, they were able to schedule an appointment for me. Thorough testing, detailed exam, practical solutions to the issues I was experiencing. Dr. Grossett was wonderful. I was referred to this practice -and would gladly recommend her to anyone else looking for top-notch eye care.

Made a same day emergency eye appointment and they said I could come in a half hour from when I called. Arrived, completed paperwork, then waited another half hour to see the doctor.Doctor was great; very kind, professional, and reassuring. I would love to see this doctor regularly if I was from the area.Receptionist was a bit curt. Reading some other reviews I see it wasn’t just me.

Best eye experience ever. Dr. Grossett has been my eye doctor for 20+ years and she is phenomenal. I have Kerataconus and she stays up on all the latest technology. She takes care of my entire family including my grandson. She does not rush you when you go for your visit and her staff is also great.

Love Dr. Grosset. She is kind and very knowledgeable. She explains things well without making you feel silly. The staff is also kind and inviting. I have had many less than stellar experiences elsewhere so when I landed here I knew I had a gem.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Grossett and have referred many, many people to her office. Her receptionist Debbie has always been quite rude and incredibly unfriendly but I put up with it because I liked Dr. Grossett. After a particularly rude in encounter with her in November 2018, I asked Debbie to please have Dr. Grossett call me. She very curtly told me I would have to be specific about why I wanted her to call, as if it was up to Debbie if Dr. Grossett would get the message or not. I subsequently left several messages for Dr. Grossett and never heard from her. I finally called and asked for an appointment, which Debbie very begrudgingly scheduled for me, a month out. The day before my appointment, I received a message from Debbie stating they had canceled my appointment. After several more attempts to get in touch with Dr. Grossett, I am moving my care elsewhere. I am tired of feeling abused by the receptionist everytime I need to see my eye doctor. Debbie has SEVERAL bad reviews all over the internet- on healthgrades, Yelp, etc. dating back to 2014. I don’t know anywhere else that would keep such a rude, belligerent employee that is obviously costing them business employed for so long. That certainly makes me question Dr. Grossett’s judgement. They are not only losing my business, but my entire family and several people I referred are also leaving her practice with me. So Debbie just cost them another 10+ patients. I would advise everyone to stay away from this poorly run business.

I simply can not find the words to express my joy to have found my new eye doctor! Dr. Grossett and her staff are phenomenal! I felt welcome the moment I called to make an appointment! And that was just the start of it! My children and I walk in and we felt an overwhelming sense of comfort like I was going to a spa instead of what normally is a frustrating type of appointment. It is a beautiful practice with many awesome frames to choose from! Dr.Grossett was so kind and walked my very nervous daughter through the whole process. Not only did she find the perfect solution for my daughter she made it a learning experience for her and my other children! I was so impressed that I made an appointment for myself the very next day! I felt very cared for and she did tests as her standard that have never been done for me before that gave me new knowledge to my eyesight! I look forward to taking the rest of my family here to get their new glasses as well! My daughter and I look forward to recieving our new glasses soon! Thank you so much!!!!

Having lived in the area for 31 years, weve been to alot of optho offives. We found Dr. Grossett several years ago. If you want eyeglasses you can see clearly through, (without extra exam visits from a poor exam)..if you want a thorough exam on eye health as well, and a very knowledgeable person talking with you through it on what they are doing/looking for/observing; this is your place. She has handled most of our eye injuries as well, or will send us to another reliable office if necessary.
