Nice find off the Main Street or 290, so glad I went back after I didnt find it online until my way out. You initially walk in the storefront that sells everything from jams, cider, desserts, little kitchen items, etc... The tasting room is self-service where you pay $4 for each 4 oz. automated pour. You receive a card which you insert into an automatic pouring machine. There were about 12 wines from white to red and sweet to dry. I personally enjoyed the peach wine as it was light and refreshing without being too sweet.Youre able to buy the same wines by the glass or bottle to go or take outside to the large sitting areas. Theres a large patio area where a live band plans. Theres also a nice pond area with a large amount of chairs, benches, and tables to sit and enjoy nature. The pond area was very nice to just sit, drink some wine, look at the water, and listen to all the insects. The chairs and tables are spread out around the entire pond, so everyone has their own personal space. The patio with live music was a good distance from the pond, so could enjoy either area depending upon your mood. I tried the pond are, but will try the live music next time as its on the list to return.

Nice little scenic shop. They have lots of jams and salsas, some of which are sold at HEB. The wines here are not made at the location but at other wineries. They also have a small outdoor patio and pond. Nothing very special. For a small tasting. Its $4 each for about 1.5 oz and they charge a fee to get it. I wasnt fond of the. Serving on a plastic cup as well. And the service was a bit disorganized.

Super cute business and piece of land! Love that they created a whole outside area to tour! Walking paths around flower gardens, a cooking school, a lily pond that is beautiful to sit by while you enjoy the raspberry chipotle sauce over cream cheese and your wine. The retail store is great, too! Tons of options for all your cooking needs!

Thankfully my husband and I got there 15 minutes before closing on our last day in Texas. The jar of sliced peaches are absolutely amazing! The shop and grounds are adorable!

Quaint little store just outside Fredericksburg city proper for wine tasting and shopping for dainty treats drom pastries, jams and jellies, all sorts of sauces and ciders. Very cpuntry style store front with a very nice viwe of the orchard in the back. Very chill atmosphere outdoors and with instagrammable views and backdrops, if youre into that. Very nice ladies at the counter eager to help and assist you with your questions about their products and services. Prices are typical for products in a touristy stop but not outrageously so. Servicable outhouse-like restrooms outside in the back. Will not hesitate to return here when I have put of town guests.

Great experience! Friendly staff. Wine tasting was fun. We picked up some jams and preserves and were not disappointed. The BBQ sauce was amazing!! Ill be back for more on my next trip! All in all... a very relaxing experience. Highly recommended. I would suggest more visible signage for overflow parking.

This is a beautiful Winery - one of my favorites. I had a great time - there was some live music, there was water and truly peaceful. They also have a great wine selection. I love their Jam and Crackers too.

Were on our honeymoon and exploring around the hill country including Fredericksburg. Stopped in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful property, lots of fall decor and wonderful scenery. The pond behind is so peaceful as well. We didnt get to sample anything due to the pandemic, but came home with quite the haul.

Wow! What an amazing little spot! Went with my wife on her birthday and we had an amazing time. The wine is great and the ambience is phenomenal. It’s so relaxing to sit by the water with your loved one and enjoy the scenery. It’s also a great place to get some photos. There’s a lot of beautiful scenery and picture perfect spots. We will definitely be going back!

Great service. Great wine sampling and little boxes filled with the perfect touch of cheese, meats, nuts, dark chocolate and grapes! Their cider is so so good!! Outdoor space is wonderful and tons of sitting areas to sit in your own bubble with a pandemic or no pandemic🤗 Will definitely be back!!

This is a great stop to make. From the good pictures you can take on the little lake, to the jams, dips and other sweets you can get there. They have clean restrooms, cold sodas and other non alcoholic drinks to choose from.

I have been to Fredericksburg many times and can’t believe I’ve.l never stopped here. They offer many homemade jam, sauce, honey and spreads. They also offer wine tastings and wine by the glass options. The best part is the view of in the back. It’s a relaxing environment around the water with a chance to enjoy the landscaping with the pretty trees. They have a good amount of seating and picnic tables to sit and relax. I highly recommend this place.

Its beautiful and clean, has food options as well as take home jellies, jams, sauces, mixes and seasonings. There is a pretty little lake with seating available. The staff knows their wine and their jobs and makes you feel comfortable yet informed. The smell from the pizza cooking was like magic!! They even have a little cooking school!? Just call or go! And go again and again!!

The pond in the back was nice, but 1 STAR because Im annoyed. The wine tasting is $4 each. But here is the catch, you have to buy a $3 card to use the wine dispenser- self service. How annoying! You have to pay to pay for something basically and do it yourself! They use plastic cups instead of wine glasses, how wastful. The only place in town using plastic. 1 star for riping people off! And they arent sampling a lot of the sauces they have, only some, Due to covid. I guess only some sauces transmit germs ans some dont? They have a store on main Street and I was told we would be able to taste everything at this location. They have some good sauces but the wine is a waste of time and money. You dont get the wine tasting experience where you sit down and someone talks the wines through with you. Thats because there is nothing to talk about. These are cheap low quality wines. Stick to what you are good at, jelly. They are selling wine to make and extra buck. And they arent good at it.

This is a super cute place!! I loved the tasting room with all the different stuff to taste. I loved the jalapeño jelly, as well as several of other gems I found while perusing all they had to offer. I loved that they had a sweet wine tasting as well as a white and red wine tastings as well. I prefer more sweet/dessert wines so I picked the sweet wine tasting. It was 6 wines for $25 and of course you get to keep the glass. The Georgetown peach wine was my favorite. We needed up getting a bottle and enjoying it out by the lake and of course took a few bottles home. The alps offered dessert like peach cobbler and cheese trays. I would definitely stop here if your passing through Fredericksburg. I LOVED his winery.

Love the grandma and her grandson, love her family history. I was born in a small farm village, and my dream is to have my own farm, lol. Anyway, they are really nice people, one time I couldn’t go inside because my doggies, so I was waiting on the patio for my husband, they came check on me if I was doing ok, oh God, this is a truly kind sweet family, great family culture. And they are really doing something big on peach, waiting for the peach cosmetics come out and I would like to try it. My favorite is peach cider, peach jam and local honey, blueberry sauce, and of course fresh fruits when the season. I usually don’t drink wine but will definitely prepare some for the coming holidays.

Very polite staff on the floor. They offered us a variety of different tastes before buying make sure we took the right one that fit us. And also explained each one. After purchasing the bottle they allowed us to go to the back and sit by the pond and enjoy the evening with the bottle we bought. Very enjoyable experience. Will go back and highly recommended .

I had high hopes before visiting and I will say the outdoor area behind was very nice. However, if you are looking for a place to spend your money look somewhere else. The woman helping us did not tell us that in order to get our money back for the card needed to use the wine machine we would have to purchase something additional even after paying to taste the wine. The wine was not good enough to justify the small amounts and high prices.

Loved, loved, loved the cooking class! Everything is freshly prepared with lots of quick tips. The wine is superb, the instructor is experienced, fun, and knowledgeable. You will not regret booking this excursion!

Very beautiful place and friendly staff. As a 33 year old queer person I felt a little out of place in regards to the older patrons. We left pretty quickly due to weird vibes. This isn’t a new thing and many people who would be living an alternative lifestyle have reported negative experiences. I definitely wouldn’t consider this a safe space for LGBTQ+, POC etc. As I’m sure they will claim otherwise, I’m speaking from OUR experience. Also, when we walked in and walked around we were not greeted by staff and I’m realizing that’s the standard here? I wonder if all the rich white fuddy duddies that were staring at my Native American girlfriend and I realize Hill Country was indigenous land?

The view is lovely but that is the only redeeming factor. The wine tasting is poured by a machine that gives you only around 3 tsp for $4 and it was not very good. You also have to pay a fee to get a card to work the wine dispensing machine. At first they told us the fee was refundable once we gave the card back, but when we tried to do that at the end of our visit, they said we wouldn’t get the fee back unless we bought a bottle of wine. That was not stated to us when we asked about the fee when we were purchasing tastings. I was very disappointed since this place had so many reviews and the view was nice.

Beautiful setting. However, you are losing business by requiring masks. The mandate has been lifted. Yours is the only business in Fredericksburg that asked us to put on a mask. (We entered a lot of restaurants and stores) We politely declined and left.

Absolutely GORGEOUS area with delicious treats! We stopped by for a wine tasting and to get some goodies to take home. We enjoyed their fruit wines a lot! We got a bottle of the blackberry wine and then a bottle of Sangiovese (not fruity) which we really liked! We bought some amaretto peach pecan preserves, cinnamon toasted pear preserves and peach butter. All were delicious and taste INCREDIBLE on vanilla ice cream! We enjoyed our bottle of Sangiovese on the property, sitting out by the water. It was extremely relaxing and beautiful. We would definitely recommend!

Das peach Haus has a huge variety of sauces, jams and wine. A wine tasting is also available and an outside sitting area as well. Very beautiful scenery and everything was furnitured into detail.

Wished I could leave zero stars, I stated to the Hostess that I am a combat veteran and have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. She told me we werent welcome and we just left. The owners need to educate the staff that they can NOT refuse service to someone due to a medical condition. It is absolutely no different than refusing to service someone because they are in a wheel chair. I will be contacting the Texas Attorney Generals office to report this business. Most likely these are Liberal business owners and I definitely do NOT want to give them my money. Was looking for a place to have a business meeting with my company, definitely made my choices a little easier!

All manner of delectable jams, marinades, mustards, and sauces. Many items include peaches, but most do not. These condiments make entertaining easy and delicious.

Found this place by chance while driving back home from Fredricksburg, we thought it was a a shack to buy fresh peaches but found a great emporium of sauces, preserves and wine. Its a beautiful property with a great terrace and a lake/pond. Ended up staying for a couple of hours, drinking wine and eating cheese. Very helpfun and frienly staff too 10/10 would recommend.

Really disappointed in our last and final visit. Staff was beyond rude. Actually rude is me being kind. We come to Fredericksburg probably 2-3 times a month and we LOVED coming here however after literally being run out after looking around for under a min being told if we weren’t going to shop or buy something we could leave. All because my husband who was in line to get wine bent down to talk to our baby in a stroller. How disappointing and honestly disgusting. We understand there is a limit of people In the store at one time however don’t be disrespectful to people actually planning to spend money. I hope other families spend their time and money elsewhere. There are too many stores in this town to be rude. I know we won’t be back sadly.

Meh. If you are doing a tasting, its very impersonal as you fill your glasses with a machine. Its not a wine experience. If you want to get a sweet wine, get the peach wine.

My fiancé has a medical condition from the military and they made a huge deal about him not wearing a mask. I was wearing a mask, but my fiancé could not. It seemed like such a beautiful place to enjoy some wine, but we were not going to give our business to them. We were looking for a great vineyard to have a company get together and the company was willing to pay a great amount, but sadly they will NOT be getting the business we were hoping to give them. There are other great vineyards who are understanding about those who have medical conditions, so I would look into other vineyards around Fredericksburg. This is how companies lose out on money and the chance to have loyal customers. I personally do not like leaving bad reviews, but this situation needed to be shared. Some people have medical conditions they are born with and some people develop medical conditions from serving our country. It is not their fault they are born with or develop these medical conditions, therefore they should not be treated differently because of that. We will gladly give our business and money to other vineyards who understand that some people have medical conditions. Sadly we live in a world where people are not willing to be understanding. Other vineyards do have signs about masks, however they are understanding about those who can not wear them. You should not be singled out or turned down because you are have a medical condition that others may not have.

We had an incredible day in Fredricksburg, and drove off Main Street to have desert before leaving. We went in there around closing and the workers were incredibly rude and not inviting. We have been hiking all day and feel as though they judged us by our clothing or appearance. I never post reviews but will go out of my way for a business that treats others like this.

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful selection of salsas, jams, and sauces. The warm peach cobbler was delicious as was the pretzel dog. This spot is a wonderful place to grab a glass of wine and sit around the small pond or under a shade tree.

My fiancé & I came here during our getaway from town. The scenery, wine & photo ops you will find are amazing. Beautiful views from the seats around the pond they have in the backyard. It almost makes you feel like you aren’t in Texas with the pine trees that surround the place. The reason why I gave 3 stars was because of the service, the young gentleman that was working the cash register gave us one word answers to all our questions & was rude. The young woman working with the pastries did not greet us but greeted everyone else after us. I would still recommend this place just hope you don’t get treated like we did

Such a cute pit stop as soon as you enter Fredericksburg. Home of the best peach jam Ive tasted. Picked up a bottle of wine and a charcuterie box to help us settle into our Air BnB before taking a trip to town. I LOVE the historic info cards throughout the property and being able to relax by their pond afterwards. Highly recommend.
