I recently discovered East Main Street Cafe, and have now been back several time. The waitstaff are attentive, swift, and helpful. The food has always been great. My only complaint is that I wish they stayed open for lunch. Closing at 12, I have arrived a bit too late for service on an occasion or two.

Very busy the morning I was there, but the 2 ladies taking care of the place did a great job, just be patient,for the wait was worth it. The breakfast eggs were perfectly done, the hash browns were probably the best Ive had in a long time. The Canadian bacon was very good and plentiful. I left full. East Main Street Cafe is my new go to place for breakfast

Food is always really good and good size portions. They are doing their best to keep everyone at a safe distance and masks are worn. It can feel a bit crowded but they do skip tables to keep a safe distance. The staff is very friendly. The decor could use an update but again, we go there for the food.

I came here for the first time this morning for a good breakfast while up here on my 2nd day of vacation to visit family and friends . I was very impressed & very happy with excellent food & fabulous service - I will definitely come back many more times while up here .

Food was good. Service was slow. Place was full the entire time we were there so the slow service is understandable. This place was not easy to see from the street so if you are not familiar with the area you have to pull in behind friendlys to see the plaza and its in the back.

Great breakfast, but expect to wait for second cup of coffee if it ever comes and getting waitresses attention is a venture on its own

Service was super slow...the eggs on my Benedict were not cooked enough the white should not be runny...the potatoes were blah - fried and unseasoned...

Stopped in on a Monday for a late breakfast. Service was fast and VERY friendly. I had a simple meal of scrambled eggs with cheese and a side of sausage patties. The portion was large and the food was good. Would definitely return.

I love this hideaway, way in the back parking lot plaza of the Friendlys entrance. Great portions and always something new on the chalk boards. You wont be disappointed with an omelet or egg dishes. Pancakes are cooked just perfect.

Absolutely one of the best places I have ate at. Staff is very friendly and does outstanding service. Food is delicious and cant beat the portions of food you get for the price. Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone in the area looking to eat.

Terrible, I emphasize, TERRIBLE service. We sat for about 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. The waitress served us coffee and disappeared for another 25 minutes, ignoring us as she walked by (even as we repeatedly tried to flag her down). During our wait, we watched 2 other parties leave without being served. After 40 minutes without being asked our food order, we decided to follow suit.

Service was very good, ordered ham and eggs. Nice peace of ham eggs a little runny for over easy. Biggest complaint was home fries were deep fried and tasted very greasy.

Ive been asked not to come back, because I wrote a little note on back of bill about my eggs being over cooked and my bacon being cold. After giving the nice waitress 25 percent tip instead of asking to have the badly cooked meal taken of my bill and causing a scene. On the many times Ive been there the cook has violated health and CDC regs, no mask and touching my food with no gloves without complaint. Eat here at your own risks!!!!

Good food but...... waitress never refills my coffee or came back to my table to see if we were all set or needed anything more. i had to yell at her to get ketchup. But all the regulars she made sure had every thing they needed. my family will make sure to find some were else to eat.

Excellent dining spot! Food is fair, prices exceptional and they serve large portions. Servers are always friendly despite being over worked. Recommended spot!

Overall the food is good. Homefries are more like roasted potatoes (prefer homefries for breakfast) However service is very very slow. You will wait a half hour for your food if they are busy and just as long to get the check after youve finished eating. The place is not huge so dont really understand the wait as the turnover for a table can be over an hour.

Went here New Years Day, place was packed but we saw an open seat and sat right away. The wait was fair, but the food was good, prices were cheap, and friendly wait staff.

Normally a decent place, the food is good. The area is small, a little tight at times and the wait staff is a little older.Today(10-14-2017 at 0900 hrs) my son and I went in for breakfast. As we sat and waited the room was full and the two waiteresses were fairly busy. My son and I order and the gable of three next to us order. Now as we waited for our food I notice two boys come in and sit at the counter and a couple comes in and sits at the table behind my son. Nothing out of the ordinary here, until I see the boys at the counter get their eggs and the gable next to us get there breakfast, two sets of scrambled eggs and some type of breakfast sandwich. The couple behind us gets their breakfast pancakes of some type and we are still waiting for scrambled eggs and a scrambled egg and sausage sandwich. I drank two cups of coffee and my done finished his oragnge juice before our breakfast finally arrived and I should add it was not correct to boot. The couple behind is finished their breakfast and was leaving by time we finally received the correct order. We simply asked for our order to go and paid the $14 or $15 Bill leaving just a $2 tip.Now I have been to this place on numerous times in the past. Once again the place is small but the food is decant. I have seen a decline in customer service over the last year and after today we will most likely find a new place to have breakfast on the weekend. It is a shame that Friendlys the chain restaurant has better customer service. So East Main St. We will be finding another place.

Tried it for the first time and it was the worst restaurant experience of my life. The waitress was rude from the start and it took us and hour to finally get up and leave because our food wasnt even being cooked yet because the grill is tiny they said. Staying away from that place

The owner is extremely rude and his daughter has no idea what shes doing they hired my mom and after the training my mother seen how they ran that business and how bad the lack of communication was she decided to decline the job she called and spoke with the owner Harry about her training pay and she was cursed out and hung up on and now they want to act like she never worked for them and they refuse to pay her Im all for supporting my towns small businesses but when your not paying your employees and you are talking to them with so much disrespect I will not and nor should any one else support a company or a man that behaves that way
