The folks in the Freeport and Portland shops were extremely helpful! I thought my skis needed new bindings and was ready to spend a few hundred for them, but 15 minutes later and for only $30 I left the store with the fully repaired and functional bindings. I really appreciate that they were honest about my circumstance and didnt view me as an easy target for a bindings sale. Thanks!

Helpful, friendly folks. Quality gear and solid product knowledge. Jim was great to work with, new ski setup is exactly as described, love it. I grew up hanging out in local bike shops and Arlberg still has that small shop feel that the big stores have killed off in many places.

Just left the store and could not have had a better experience. The selection and quality of the merchandise are exceptional. What made it even better was the customer service. The employees know the product and understand the difference between outlet mall quality and real quality. Do you want quality at a great price, customer service, and great products? I would encourage everyone to skip the big boxes and outlets and go to the Arlberg Ski & Surf.

I went to every ski shop in the Portland area to get my family set up and was very disappointed. Then I found this location in Freeport. Jim and Nicole were so helpful, my kids are now super excited to get up to the mountain and I was able to get a great deal on updated gear for myself. We will absolutely be checking out the tent sale this summer and back in the fall to check kids sizing with their trade in deal.

I have been an Arlberg shopper for many years. Never have been disappointed. the staff is always helpful.this past week they outdid themselves. I had a trip coming up and had my skis distuned at another shop near where I skied for a few days...Jim retuned my skis before my Loon trip so that I could have a great time! Thanks Jim...skiing was great and my skis were like new.

Awesome place a friend and I were both In need of new snow pants! We go what we wanted at a good price. Veteran friendly!

I cannot believe how rude the staff is here. Will not be back.

Horrible return policy. Wore the ski pants one time, they were unwilling to take them back, give me a store credit, or do an exchange. They do not have a clearance section, they only will accept new, with tags, never used items for returns. I will never shop here again. Freeport is an entire town with Outlet stores built on the model of gently used clothing and items. It seems entirely unfair that I now have to eat the cost of pants that dont fit, and buy a whole new pair.

Place is for kooks. Over priced and inexperienced people working.

They should not be called a surfshop because they do not know anything about surfing. Worst shop I ahve ever been to and the people who work there are just rude. Its horrible
