Was very interested in purchasing an office chair. It did not have a price so I had to search for a sales associate who did not seem to know much. After looking it up in the store directory be says there are no more in stock. I asked how much and he says $129. I asked if I could purchase the chair there and was willing to take it that day. The sales associate said it was not possible. As it was a floor model I would not have paid full price but was willing to take it that night. He goes to the manager who does not have the decency to even come and speak to me as the customer. Sends his sale associate to tell me no and that they dont sell floor models. Guess they really are not interested in sales, let alone good customer service. Any store I have been to has always been willing to sell a floor model at a discounted price. They lost a sale and a customer

O I have to say that this is the second time Ive been with third time Ive been in this staples, and Ive gone straight to the copy section and I have gotten exemplary service in the afternoon and now Im here at night for the first time and this gentleman and this woman that are working here are unbelievably courteous professional friendly all of the above. and its not like that in a lot of places your store your corporation really goes above and beyond and it means a lot

Wow! The two managers worked like superheroes to retrieve a receipt for me from a few months ago! I needed the receipt for work and they found it like tony stark from iron man! I wish I got their names but they were super friendly and saved my butt! Thanks guys!Will B

It is so unorganized, there is no one on the floor to assist you and they never answer the phone. Do not bother calling. They should of been prepared for the school year crowd.

I entered to send a fax that I promised to send to a client. I figured that it would be 5-10 dollars. 23 pages cost me 57 dollars. This was NOT posted anywhere in their sloppy store! The process took an hour. The store was understaffed and the poor souls behind the desk had to multitask to the point of misery. By the time my fax went through I had no clue the amount I had to pay. Poor customer service but NOT the employees fault....TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I feel completely ripped off.

I purchase all of my printers and ink at this Staples. My printer died and I went to purchase another one. The manager Chris assisted me in finding a new one that met my needs. The store was out of the model I selected so he ordered it for me and it arrived 2 days later as promised. The printer didnt work and had to be returned. What would normally be a nightmare turned into the best customer service experience I have had bar none. I called Chris and informed him of what the problem was. Chris assured me he would do everything he could to make it right. Chris came and got the printer and returned it to the store for me. The printer was heavier than my previous one and it would have been difficult for me to do it myself. Of course I want a printer that works but what is more important to me is the people I do business with and the quality of the service they provide. Chris is an example of excellent customer service and why I will continue to frequent businesses that have the common sense to hire people like him.

Had the best experience in the copy and print center of this location with Genesis. She was the most helpful and sweet person I’ve ever received service from. Will definitely come back and do all my printing with her! Her customer service was phenomenal. Thank you Genesis!

Very poor customer service . I came to pick up some invitations that I paid for ahead of time and the manager argued with me that I hadnt . They are not professional at all and every time I go they give me a hard time and dont want to help me. They need to be taught basic manners and learn how to help customers. 😡

I have NEVER had such poor customer service like i did yesterday at the store in Freeport NY . The first employee i asked to help looked at me as if i was going to eat him So i asked Can you help me ? Or you dont want too ? So he processed to say he just started working there ! Okay understandable the next worker was truly a sweet heart an actually helped me. After I approached another young man kindly asked him a question,Well he stopped & just looked at me sooo i asked him could you help me ? Or Are you on break or just dont feel like working? Now the reason i responded that way is because He looked so bothered by me asking for help . His replied was you asked a question so i have to answer but he didnt! he turned around without saying anything Walking towards what i was looking for and still i Thanked him. As i was checking out the same young man was standing next to the cashier just socializing. A customer came up to him and asked for something as soon as she walked away . He turned to the cashier that was helping me to tell him He hates when people ask dumb questions looking for something and its right in front of them. So being that he was the gentlemen who i asked for help before i checked out . I turned to him after he said that comment But isnt that your job to help customers? And of course he was caught off guard with my replied and tried to justify the comment but with That being said whatever manager runs that store really needs to retrain their staff you have a million workers in the store and all i ever see them do is socializing among one another. I am pretty sure in their job description part of it, is to have Good customer service. Your employee shouldnt be talking about your customers especially when he was surrounded by more customers.

Went to Freeport Staples. Plenty of parking space.They have multiples of all the things I was looking for at various price levels and quality.No wait on checkout line and I was on my way!Most Staples stores are as equally satisfying to shop at.When I need home office products I always go to Staples.Oh BTW I have yet to find a bad customer rep in any Staples.They are always helpful.

I went to print some of the work and the printer, in addition to the charge it did not work, I asked for help from the guys who work in that printing area and they didnt help me at all. I received the worst service from them. I had a very bad experience in the center of copies and prints

Hey what’s up guys how are you ? I’m normal guy, not to mention I’m mentally handicapped and physically disabled.. I was treated horribly in the store, By a bunch of inconsiderate lowlife racist!!! Everyone in the establishment had an attitude. If I need a pen and a piece of paper again, I’ll write on my skin with my own blood!! I think you get the point. Dont bother calling them becuase they dont answer the phone. Their pc software is out of date, so when you try to get prints theres always compatibility issues, then they want to charge you for edits. For instance, their microsoft office is like 10 years old.

So my partner and I went to this Freeport location as usual. The team supervisor Katty, I felt wasnt as demonstrative and a leader of great ideas and rush hour plans at this busy school season.. lines long and slow.. gave no clear direction to her cashiers until problems arouse.
