Had my bike for an extended period of time. Kept giving me the run around and telling me to come back in an hour. I get here, bike still not finished, and isn’t even on the premises. It’s at another location. Then I have to wait for the guy to finish tinkering with 3 other bikes for him to go and get my bike and bring it back to where I brought it. Still not finished. Talked to me very reckless and unprofessional. Don’t patronize this place.

They hold parts to install and not return to the owners and resale. They have excuses and said..we dont have and charge if you want to install in you bike.

Brought in my Duke. Chain cleaned/serviced, new Pirellis front/back install balance, oil change, coolant flush/hose replaced, brake pads, ignition module install. $1,000: I think its a good price for everything. Also agreed to rebalance front tire for free when I took it back for something that wasnt their fault. I recommend

They are a father and son business they work hard they do quality work JJ is a nice guy . He has a son named Aaron who is smart he knows these bikes like the back of his hand! I will always go to these guys they know what they are doing and they do quality work and there prices aren’t bad at all for what they do! I recommend this place Top Notch

This is a great place for any type of motorcycle needs. I always take my bike here no matter what. I recently brought my ZX6-RR in to get a top to bottom look over, also wanted to upgrade a few things like most riders. I had new Pirelli Diablo Rosso IIl tires put on with new EBC HH front and rear brakes to go along with new wheel bearings front and rear. New carrier bearings, new front rim due to my old one having a side wobble, powder coat rims 3 stage Gold, powder coat levers 3 stage Gold, powder coat brake rotors satin black, install new clutch with gasket, oil change & filter, adjust chain, new stator cover gasket, and finally ended it off with a NYS inspection to ride straight out the shop! Throughout the process they always contacted me to keep me updated on everything. They did everything I asked of them fast and efficiently. Great prices as always, I would highly recommend this shop.

Have been going to JJ since i bought my 2011 super glide, first service harley tried ripping me off with some BS, discovered cycle concepts on my way back, JJ diagnosed the problem quickly turned out to be a defective upper motor mount, been using him ever since. Never pushes unneeded service, gives honest opinion on parts and upgrades. Very selective on who he takes as a customer, but believe me he is the best!

I gave them my Honda with all the replacement parts. After 1 year of waiting for them to fix it they threatened to charge me storage fees of 25 dollars a week.i told them to fix it and I will take it.After 2 years I went there every week and fought with them to Put on the spark plug cap and the air filter so the job would be finished. They never did it and bragged to me how they drive it everyday. Finally I had enough and took it without the rest of the work being done. I told them I was taking 100 offf for the missing air filter and the refused to give me the Honda without full payment. During the 2 years the owner often made Jew jokes at me and it was disgraceful. . Only go here if you want the absolute worst experience

These guys know motorcycles. I’ve had multiple bikes worked on by them through the years and have recommended them to a few riders in the area. From regular maintenance, tires, repairs, custom fabrication, I’ve seen a lot of their work. They have access to everything motorcycle related, even riding gear and helmets at great prices. The owner is involved with every bike that comes through the shop, the mechanics are top notch. I would recommend.

The owners is very knowledgable and has priceless experience of all types of motorcycles. They will do a great job for you but be patient because quality takes time. Prices are fair and all work is done on house.

I WAS ROBBED!!!Guy took my bike and had to call the cops to get it back, wouldnt allow me to pay him .Wouldnt give me the time of day had my bike for 9 months and did nothing to it . Then tried to charge me for a storage fee . They bait and switch everything they say and do . He probably good to fix your flat and thats it . Guys stay clear .They take to much work on . AND HAVE NO TIME FOR YOU .They already have a client base if your a new customer you will be treated like garbage .I gave the guy 4k just to get my bike back and maybe they did 2k worth of work . I started doing the work myself.

I wish I didn’t have to even give this place one star. The owner is a despicable human being. Most people who deal with customers on a day to day basis wouldn’t be so nasty. He gave me a price over the phone, changed the price in person and then decided that he wasn’t going to do anything for me unless I paid more money for trying to negotiate and get a better deal. This place rips you off‼️ I had a 04 yz that needed a petcock replacement. They tried to charge me 50-100 dollars. I lookEd on amazon nd the petcock was only 10 dollars. Which i replaced myself smh.

The son was a decent guy and helped get a tire mounted on my wheel under time constraints as I had a week long road trip leaving the next day and I managed to get a flat. The father at some point made his way over to us and started to get involved, all I can say is the guys a real piece of work. I may still go there for simple tire changes as they did a good job and my wheels were returned without so much as a scratch.

Reliable service, reasonable prices, knowledgeable mechanics, on time repair. I have been riding motorcycles for the better part of 40 years. Sometimes I do my own repair and other times just don’t have the knowledge, tools, or time. Brought my Kawasaki Nomad in last Saturday and JJ and Aaron told me exactly what was needed. Unlike other places I been to they didn’t try to up sell me just got me what I needed and had the bike ready in a few days. Prices were very reasonable and when I picked up my bike they gave me some insight about some future stuff I might need done either by me or at their shop. Honest guys who know their business. Been to a few places around LI but would definitely go to them from now on.

I will tell you that my bike was not in the best shape and prior to bringing it to cycle concepts I had either been denied service or been overpriced by places such as Nation Cycles in Hempstead where the mechanic wanted to charge me $900 just to open it up and see it.The guys at cycle concepts where honest and clear from the beginning. They explained to me the situation and took me in. Kept me posted of every step and finally gave me my motorcycle better than it was before.Hands down the best place for your motorcycle in the Island.

This guy bait and switched me for something originally quoted at 500$ went up to 3,000$ to fix . The owner (german guy heavy accent ) is very money hungry and untrustworthy . Dont fall into his trap ! He will try to convince you that there is alot of things wrong with your bike and charge you alot of $ to fix to discourage you from wanting to fix it . Then like vulture that he is he swoops in and offers to buy it for pennies because he knows there isnt much wrong with it and he can resell it for a large profit. STAY AWAY!!

Been in the business over 15 years trusted these guys are one of my custom motorcycles. it was there over a year. After taking me off for $800 in parts.screening my phone calls not answering my calls I finally had to show up with a potential buyer. Bike was completely stripped down damage to knowrecovery worst shop on Long Island hands down most unprofessional people Ive ever met.please if anybody reads this review do not go to these guys they are scam artists and crooks. They are literally German crooks. While standing there looking at the damage they did they have two kids running around the shop knocked down Ducati plastics on the floor. There riding in and out of bikes on scooters as well

Brought in my 2014 V-Star 950 for a Cobra slip on exhaust and power commander. The work was done well, on time and even for a bit less than I was quoted! The parts were the same price as the dealer, but the labor was about $275 less. Bike really runs much better, and now sounds like it should. I will certainly return for future work... Thank you JJ

I was horrified and disgusted by my experience at this place. I introduced myself to the owner, and he responded “My name is Adolf Hitler.” Weird, I thought, but I assumed he was just making a bad joke about his German accent. So I said “if you’re Adolf Hitler, I’m afraid we won’t get along very well. I’m Jewish.” He proceeded to lecture me about how evil Jews are, how we control the media, how we control rent prices, how we are greedy and horrible people. “You seem like a decent person,” he said, “but your people are not.” He went on and on. About Black people, about liberals, about Jews. I had to listen to all of this, because my bike was already on the stand being serviced by his son, and because he was standing between me and the exit. I will never go back here, and would strongly encourage others to find somewhere else to have your bike serviced. Don’t support Nazis.

Just brought my Motorcyle to “Cylce concepts “ for the first time this pass weekend for an inspection. Turned out I needed a front fork seal job done which they had kindly did that for me and some other repairs such as brake fluid and plug work. This motorcycle repair shop did a really extra good job to take care of me. The bike was ready in three days and reasonably priced. The service and honestly there was definitely 5 STAR !!!! I will continue to go there for my motorcycle needs.

Didnt make an appointment, yet they installed them in one day, AND gave me a fair price!! Went to a different place that wouldnt even touch my bike....glad I came here. Will continue to do so. These guys know their stuff, and can work on anything.

After I left my bike at this shop, I probably read every review left and some of the reviews shocked me. But at that point it was already to late, so I just went with the flow. Aaron and JJ were both very nice, I did not have an issue with either of the them. Aaron worked the phones at the shop and he was always friendly even though I kept calling he was patient and nice. The price was fair. I would definitely come back to The shop if I need other work done. I have no complaints!

Very helpful and knowledgeable workers/mechanics and always fair with pricing, usually less than other shops around Nassau county and the work is fantastic. Their great with getting the work done that day right then and there to get you back riding your motorcycle.

This is a great motorcycle service shop. I called at 10:15a to see if they could do a tire change on my 2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP, no problem bring it in Cycle Concepts told me. I live nearby so I had it in by 10:30a. They also changed the oil and topped off my coolant. 3:30p that SAME day Cycle Concepts called to say it was done. Bike looks great, no scratches on the wheels. Fair prices for good quality work. Do not read biased reviews about this great shop and become influenced by some angry idiots. Great shop, good prices. Remember, you get what you pay for.

JJ came to pick up the bike when it didnt start. Overall, prior to giving the bike for repairs I didnt feel comfortable, but after recommended tune ups the bike felt more comfortable to ride it at higher speed. This place is people friendly and very helpful.***THIS GUY IS GOOD QUALITY MECHANIC WHO CARES FOR SAFETY*** a quality work to ensure your safe and done in the right way.

My 06 Harley Road King caught a flat and I needed help ASAP. JJ over at Cycle Concepts picked up the bike from my house in Levittown and HOOKED. ME. UP. Not only did they change my tire, but they topped off my engine oil, ran the inspection and fixed a couple odds and ends. This will be my absolute go to place from now on. Killer work fellas. Stopped by with my car and ask would I be able to have my bike inspection today. The owner said yes but my bike must be in good shape. I said Im very meticulous about my bike and Im sure it will pass. I returned with my bike and they looked it over and asked me who changed the brakes, I said I did, I do all the work on my bike myself. The owner then just goes off and says he doesnt need my business and he will not give me an inspection. Needless to say I was floored, This business owner said he will not give me an inspection sticker although my bike is in pristine condition. The next day I went to Alternative cycle half a block away from Cycle concepts and good ol Mitch passed me with flying colors. I should have stuck with Mitch in the first place but I just wanted to expand my horizons. so much for experimenting I wouldnt go back to Cycle Concepts if they gave me free tune ups for life.

Cycle concepts did a great job with my 05 hammer. I needed the bike towed from my house and it was picked up when they said they would. Tow price was excellent compared what I have paid in the past. The repair was not major but they were happy to do the work. The bike was done when they said it would be which you dont always see nowadays. The owner JJ couldnt be more accommodating and would definitely use them again and recommend them to my Freinds.

Wouldnt sell me a master link because I didnt have my chain when I knew the size and micrometer size. Even said if its wrong its fine Ill eat it. Such a waste of time. Never going back.

What a disappointment! After reading not too bad reviews about this place I decided to give them a chance. Called on Wednesday to find out a cost to swap wheels on my HD Dyna Wide Glide which I already had purchased and I was told by the owners son it would cost about $60 per each wheel if everything fits perfectly and no additional work is needed. I was ok with it, especially knowing that my custome wheels were made to the exact specifications by RC company and no extra labor would be necessary. Went there 3 days later on Saturday to be shockingly surprised by the owner that the cost will be at least $165 per wheel and that there was misunderstanding on my part during my phone convention with his son??Thank you but noooo, thank you. I rather take the bike to HD dealer which charges the exact same price of $165 per wheel but without confusion and backtracking their phone quotes.

Called shop for a part, I was told they had it and when I asked if he could confirm the part with me so I can make sure its what I am looking for before I make the trip he said, Im not going in the computer now. So, what help is that? Especially when he was having problems understanding exactly what I was looking for.

I have a 2003 Moto Guzzi that I was unable to get service on anywhere because mechanics didn’t want to touch a Guzzi that was more then 5 years old, including the Guzzi dealers on Long Island. Cycle concepts didn’t hesitate to take the bike and was able to repair it without the use of a manual or special instructions. They went above and beyond to get the bike running great and the price was fair.

I have a little 110cc pit bike I brought it there and it took almost a year to put on back brakes and I took it back and started to work on it in the matter of 2 days I got it running and the brakes working DO NOT GO IF YOUR NOT SPENDING OVER A 1,000 THEY WILL IGNORE YOU AND PUSH YOU OFF TO ANOTHER DAY

If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing you would come to this place. I trust JJ with my custom bike and jet ski. This is the only place I know of that has knowledgeable mechanics working on any type of two wheel machine.Cycle Concepts is where you go for you bike needs.

Had a chance to deal with cycle concepts over the past week. I walked in to their filthy messy office and shop. Met first by the owners son. Asked about a job i needed done, he said he would ask his father. The man finally came into the office after chatting for 10min outside. He refused to do anything for me because i didnt buy my tires from him. Stick with mitch at the alt shop. This guy at cycle concepts is bad news.

They picked up my bike from my house (about 20 minutes away from the shop) late at night when I had a flat tire and did nice work on replacing the tire with a much better quality tire.

The absolute worst place to go. Spoke to Aaron on the phone about an engine I would like rebuilt. I brought it to JJ in APRIL and asked for a rebuild. Told them that I didnt care so much about the price I just NEEDED it done by the end of June. That was my only request. It is now the middle of NOVEMBER and I still dont have an engine. Every time I called he had some excuse about having to look in the book for the part and sending the parts out to a specialist (THEY are supposed to be the specialists!). And now when I call Aaron picks up the phone and constantly tells me oh hes not here hell be back in the afternoon hes out on the road now or hes picking up a bike. Yes hes an angry, racist little Nazi. Yes his shops a mess with broken glass counters, bikes and parts all over the place and half baked employees. No i dont have an engine still, and no I will not be using this place ever again

The crew was very knowledgable and helpful when repairing my Polaris ATV. They completely took it apart to diagnose it properly and to prevemt replacing parts Unnecessarily. I highly recommend these guys for all your motorsport needs!

They do not tell the truth. They had me waiting for hours for my bike when they told me that, they had the parts. They never had the parts. All they had to do was tell me the truth. Also they are more expensive than a dealership for an oil change and repairs. Poor customer service.

Just got my 2017 FZ09 pipe changed at this shop. I originally was going with an Arrow exhaust, but the owner and his son talked me out of it. They suggested I go with an Akrapovic and MAN !!! WERE THEY RIGHT. This new Akrapovic pipe sounds AMAZING on my bike. Thank you Cycle Concepts.

The worst place to go is this place. The owner is a thief as well a animal. And his stoned son aswell they are a team to screw people over. I brought in 1990 2YZ 250 to change brakes its active for one year with many excuses and when I went to pick it up he charge me $1400 and came up with the crazy excusesand wouldnt tell me why he just gave me a list and Told me get out of this place cause I wanted on exclamation on why it jumped up from 600 to 14. I am taking this guy to small claims court for my bike he needs to be shut down. He is a racist self-centered psychopath. And it sucks that I have to even give one star

Brought my classic H/D 79 shovelhead Low Rider in for repair. It was a great experience. JJ and his staff are very knowledgeable and care how the end product turns out. Recently on a saturday morning, i rode my Ducati 1098 from NYC to long island. Unfortunately the pure bred race bike doesnt do well in stop and go traffic so by the time i was in long island my clutch was hardly working to get neutral at a stand still. By chance I made a turn from sunrise to find this shop. A few short words from the owner ducati for life and i knew i was at the right place. He told me to wait an hour until the bike cools down and then he would look at it. Sure enough the clutch fluid needed to be replaced and the system bled. He also did the brake system and lubed the chain for me. He then took it for a spin and checked everything over to make sure it would pass inspection. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. I checked the clutch and it was working like a brand new bike again. I will certainly go back and have already recommended the shop to a few friends.

Horrible place father and son are complete rip offs I had brought my bike there and was told price would be $ 350 when I went to pick up bike 3 weeks later when done they charged me 700. I was never called to be informed on the price increase. I did not have the money at the time and was charged $30 a day storage after that 2 weeks passed with amount rising and me becoming more in debt with this bike. no sympathy at all with owner when I went to pick up bike finally with some money lent he had plans on keeping it and was charging me 1800. We finally settled for 1300 and some of my plastics were missing! True Story! HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND ! Thats a negative 5 stars

I went in there for an inspection he told me my bike would pass if i got a new front tire he then proceeded to try to rip me off by quoting me over $400 for the tire ($270 was labor to mount it ) he then looked at a friend I was with and said I dont deal with Jews u need to leave I couldnt believe what I was hearing ... I then got a tire and had it mounted at a friends shop went back in for the inspection and once the racist pig saw I got a tire somewhere else he refused to give me an inspection holding a book of NYS Inpecrion stickers in his hand told me he didnt have a sticker for me and that I should of gotten the tire with him and that he doesnt waste his time for $10 ! REAL LIFE sand the. He again said my my buddy who came back with me to look for a bike tha he doesnt deal with Jews and introduced himself as Adolf Hitler idk how someone hasnt kicked this guys a$$ yet I would never spend a penny of my money there go down the block to Mitch at alternative hes so much better to deal with and an awesome machanic the racist should be put out of Bussiness and smacked in the mouth amazes me that hes still able to open is doors

Took my trike to JJ to have some work done to the ferring when no one else would. He ended up remanufacturing the entire bracket system. It is now stronger than originally made. His price was much less than I was expecting. Took the bike back for beginning of the season look over. Extremely happy with the service provided & pricing is very fair. Will be back to have the bike looked over before my summer trip.

First time in the shop . J.J. put down what he was doing and came outside to ask what I needed . I said an inspection, as I just bought this Kaw. Vulcan 2000cc classic LT. . Long story short, his son took care of the customers while J.J. and I talked as he went over my entire bike . Tires, brakes, electrical system . Everything he could eyeball . He could have tried to BS me, Instead he said all I needed was a front tire . This I already knew . He went online and found my odd sized tire on sale and ordered it for 2 day delivery . I can now go back at my convenience and have my tire installed at an agreed discounted price and have my bike inspected . Sure J.J. talks tough . He has to survive ( just like you ) . This is what youd expect from a bike shop owner. If youre to thin skinned, paint yer bike pink and go down the block for service . HAHAHA ! Personally I found it refreshing to talk to him . I found the shop I was looking for !

Theres one mechanic and two helpers with 25 bikes to work on unorganized and all around terrible buisness charge what they feel like keep your bike for weeks shops a mess you have to call for updates wouldnt bring goped to this shop they had my bike for 3 weeks strung me along the son had me go there and call him at certain hours had to argue to get my bike back unfixed with a 435 bill for basically having it for 3 weeks and changing spark plugs there shop is a scam and dont know how they lasted this long in buisnness
