Sal at Yama Auto Brokers is the best.I live in Northern California where the car dealers overprice cars, because we have to drive about three hours to get to the next dealer. I searched locally for a good deal on a used Honda Odyssey for months and visited several dealerships in my town. High miles and high prices. Finally, I started looking online and found my 2017 Honda Odyssey with low miles for an excellent deal at Yama Auto Brokers. Too good to be true. Thousands of Dollars below what I found locally. Honestly, I was afraid to buy a car online, but Sal from Yama Auto Brokers did everything possible to convince me that I was not going to get scammed. I had many questions, and he answered them patiently. He showed me every inch of this van on face-time. He did not pressure me at all, and I asked him questions several days in a row. After I told him that I am buying it, Sal sent the paperwork to me via FedEx and I returned it to him signed via the pre-paid envelope. It was easy. In the meantime, Sal had the van serviced by Honda and he had it detailed to look like new. He sent me pictures of the van being loaded up for delivery. The delivery driver sent updates and arrival time estimates. Long story short my shiny van arrived at my front door. Everything was exactly as promised. I had bought a Toyota highlander From Yama two years back and there was minor bumper fix to be done and Yama was happy to do take care of it when I bought it. But due to covid I was not able to visit him.Fast forwar to present I thought it was really odd to remind and go back to them to fix it. Places like this are like a big breath of fresh air. So many car places i have been to or talked with, i feel like i have to put on armor to do battle because of the aggressiveness and dollar signs that cover the eyes of whomever i am dealing with from seeing me as a human being, not just a calculation. Sal immediately contacted me when i left a message about one of their vehicles. He was completely transparent, honest, and forthright, and helpful. It is so incredibly clear that this family cares about people. In this family owned and run business, i was made to feel like i as a human being mattered, and my needs mattered-- more than just getting a sale. i am telling everyone i know in the area to look for their car at Yama Auto Brokers first.

Very friendly but I believe they use that to their advantage to reel you in. Listen carefully to what they sell you, I wasn’t told about a dealer fee when confirming my loan. I agreed on their 2,500 deposit and was told to only state to the bank that I put down 1,500 to later find out that the dealer used the other 1,000 to pay a fee they were responsible for so I got screwed on my deposit for them being crooked. Most of their cars are branded title for “theft” so be careful and listen to every detail if they are truthful.

Came here during early December, to buy my mom a SUV. Saw a listing on FB that seemed to good to be true tbh. Lowest price on the market with the lowest mileage as well. Saw the same model/trim at other places that had 15k+ more miles and still more expensive. Never bought a car from a dealership so I brought a family member with me, so I won’t be duped. Told me everything I needed to know, answered all of our questions with respect. (Even the tough questions). I was blocked at work for a few days and had my dad swing by to look at a nice vehicle on the lot. Him and Yama had a good talk and they held the car for me until I could get away the week after. I also liked it, bought it on the spot! There were some minor maintenance issues shortly after which they immediately took care of, as a courtesy. Very laid-back and honest attitude, you wont be bs:ed or talked into a deal youre not comfortable with here.

From first hand experience of purchasing my first car; Sal and Yama knows the meaning of having a customer leave satisfied and they go out there way to get you the car that suits you best with no pressure. Service was superior and experience was really good. very smooth process . good customer service. also Good deal too.I ran into issue with DMV for registration renewal of that same car after 5 month. . i thought to call yama and explain whole story. Yama listened me well and immediately offered me help and he said he will take care situation and i dont need to worry about it even it was not his fault .He was amazing and he resolved the issue with DMV within 48 hours and i got my registration at home . He is very upfront with his business strategy, which results in a stock of vehicles which often have lower mileage than one would expect and in excellent condition. We purchased a clean-title 2018 Toyota Yaris iA with only 3,000 miles on it. The price was reasonable, and he is quite transparent and honest about every transaction being a win-win for everyone.Most importantly, Yama is willing to go the extra mile to satisfy his customers - he is very knowledgeable about all the details that go into purchasing a used car and dealing with local bureaucracy with the state and with the car dealers. For us, he got us a spare key fob, owners manual, armrest accessory, paint, and license plates and for a lesser price and hassle than trying to acquire them all on our own. This is the ANTI car dealership! At Yama Auto you will not have to deal with pushy sales people, all day negotiations, inflated prices, and sneaky up-sells/charges. If they have the car you are looking for I would HIGHLY recommend reaching out and taking a look. When working with Yama Auto you are working with small family business ran by three brothers, father, and mother. One thing that stood out from my experience is the follow up. They ALWAYS follow up even after the sale which is really hard to find with any business these days. We ended up purchasing two vehicles from them and are super happy! This will be our first option moving forward if I am in the market for another car.

If I could buy a car every week from Yama, I would! Such a great experience and I love this car! I did a lot of research so a good portion of my satisfaction is also due to my diligence.I initially responded to a Craigslist ad via text and received prompt, clear and friendly responses from Sal which included photos, the original sale sticker, and a CarFax. I went down to see the car the next day. I really liked the car and I liked Sal and his family even more. They are a family-run business and I felt like I made instant friends with Sal and his family.On to the business side of things. I asked to have a third-party pre-purchase diagnostic (at my cost) done on the car and they gladly took it to the local Kia dealer for that. The car only had 3600 miles on it so I really didnt expect much, but wanted that inspection for piece of mind, at least. Kia found a few minor things and Sal took care of them for me. Broken dust shield under the engine which he purchased and had installed, missing tire mobility kit & slime, missing cargo net and also obtained a second key & fob for me at dealer cost.After we did our deal I discovered a cargo organizer under the rear deck was missing (only because I asked my Kia Soul EV Facebook group if I was missing anything under the deck) and Sal also got that for me at cost. I was a little miffed that the purpose of my pre-purchase inspection was to uncover anything missing or broken and Kia service fell a little short of uncovering everything for me. It was only because of my own curiosity that I noticed the tire kit, the cargo net, and the cargo organizer were missing. I have since noticed that the tow hook is also missing. All of this reflects on Kia service falling a bit short on their inspection (they missed the cargo organizer and tow hook) but Kia was very accommodating on the phone when I brought up everything I needed.Kia service does not in any way reflect on my experience with Sal at Yama...their service was absolutely perfect. Mom even put the cargo organizer in when I was there a few weeks later getting my parts and plates. Talk about the whole family getting involved! Yama, Sals brother, also took an active role in the process running off to get my second key cut and fob programmed and getting me a dealer price on that as well.I really like their location. Very non-traditional and more importantly NON-CORPORATE! They have an efficient little office behind which is a warehouse with twenty or so cars parked door to door, bumper to bumper. Hey, its not a huge open car lot with a high overhead. They have a variety of cars and they all look pretty darn clean. They hand-pick them at various auto auctions.It was really enjoyable hanging out and talking to Sal and Yama while I was waiting for the shield to be installed and the key made/fob programmed.I would not hesitate to buy from them again, and Ive already referred friends and co-workers to check them out. I was VERY SKEPTICAL of Yama auto brokers. I had been shopping for a van for my family. I wanted a backup camera, dvd, and low mileage. I settled between the Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna.I had been to the regular car dealers in Fremont automall, Carmax, Santa Clara Stevens creek, Dublin, and concord. All were a bust. They either wanted too much $, would not work with my budget. Those dealers also sold early 2000 Odysseys and siennas at over $10k with over 150,000 miles. Talk about a swindle.On Craigslist it was even worse, private sellers we went to we’re selling vans with bad catalytic converters, check engine lights, front and rear damage. The ones that seemed decent turned out to have problems once I did the test drives. Others wanted me to pay for the smog check but wanted me to buy it first. A big NO NO.I stumbled upon a Craigslist ad for Yama auto brokers. I checked their yelp reviews and saw all the 5 star reviews. I thought all these reviews must be FAKE and paid for by Yama.I stopped by and saw it looked like a scene from The Godfather car chop shop. Sketchy and you wouldn’t want to be there at night. My instincts told me to not even bother and just pass this place up.Well, I am glad I DID NOT trust my instincts. It turned out to be the best car purchase experience I have ever done.Yama was very accommodating, his mom and dad were there. They asked me what I wanted and they had a 2012 odyssey with dvd, backup camera, 75,000 miles, and get this, a built in refrigerator! All for $11,900!He drove me to another lot where the van was, had me drive it back to the office. He gave me the Carfax, The usual back and forth banter ensued, he actually told me after only 5 minutes, take the van by myself and take it home for an hour for my family to look at!He copied my license, I drove it to my place, and my wife and kids thought I had already bought it! We inspected EVERYTHING, DVD player, we walked it around, took it on the freeway. I even took it to a nearby mechanic friend, he inspected it top to bottom for structural damage, he hooked up a code scanner, all the codes were clear. He couldn’t believe the awesome condition it was at and the price purchase.I took it back after 2 hours and purchased it. I am absolutely happy!I will purchase all my future cars from Yama auto brokers

I bought a used Subaru Forester from Yama in January 2017 and it was a great experience. I financed the car with Tech CU and Yama took car of the paperwork and DMV. Awesome customer service!After doing my research Yama had the best price in the Valley and was upfront and honest about the car. His price was below KBB and he explained that he can offer these prices because he buys his cars directly from insurance companies.My car was a recovered theft from an owner that could not make the payments and reported it stolen. Unfortunately, this is common practice, but it works out for Yamas customers because they get great deals!Before selling his cars he has them checked out at the dealer. My car had an oil change, paint touch-up, and a new stereo/GPS unit installed. I had total piece of mind driving my new car away, and I havent had a single issue since.There are no high-pressure sales tactics used in the Yama family, all the cars are good deals, take it or leave it.Thank you, Yama, Sal, and family for the sweet ride!

Buying any vehicle is a challenge from models, price, needs, and your own (QPR) Quality to Price Ratio. I have spent 24 years in sales in other industries and know all the angles and spins one can muster. The great news is the Yama Auto Brokers Family from son(s) to father are doing business the old American Way that built this great country. They are honest, hard working for you and smart. They offer vehicles that are in a niche market. Salvage titles come in several categories (flood, accident, theft, etc.) With theft salvage the car is (in most cases) as good as new. But, because of the title the true value is much greater than perceived value. You buy a title that is flawed you are basically like a hedge fund manager getting the lowest price and value instantly. The business is hard and you have to do your homework from start to finish. When seeking a vehicle I found Yama Auto Brokers that has a name and legacy of professionalism. They offered a Toyota Tundra 2014 Truck with 8K miles for $28K. Mint condition and new as a 2016 model with not a spot of imperfection. I always spend the $20.00 dollars and run my own auto check and do my own homework. Yama Siddiqi and I went over all line items like an accountant and you will never find that from a dealer of uneducated stiffs. Yama Siddiqi was a class act and was raised well by his parents. Professional, polite, and listened. The other brother was also attentive and new about titles and all the salvage specifics that are necessary when dealing with a transfer of title. This was smooth as silk from start to finish. The value of cars they have to offer is great. Honestly, you are saving more than they are making. I can validate that for sure on knowing what the blue book prices are. So, you may get a car with a little salvage title if the paper work is in order and the history validates clean driving and tune ups than 9/10 ten times you are getting a great value. Dealerships are taking used cars for trade ins with all kinds of problems and selling them at least a 30%-50% mark up and they will come with problems. By pass this process and go to Yama Auto Brokers. I have no fear of salvage titles and those perimeters. The current perception is incorrect. If you want a great car with an amazing price than give the family Yama Auto Brokers a shot. They are good people that work hard and will work hard for you. There name is very reputable in Northern California and I will always go back to them for my next vehicle.

Life happened and I needed to get a replacement car fast. Buying a car is stressful enough, doing it under a time crunch was even more so. I had spent a lot of time looking through Craigslist and had a small list of cars I wanted to check out, one of them was from Yamas. I wasnt necessarily planning on buying from them, but figured it wouldnt hurt to check it out.They go the extra mile to make sure you feel taken care of and answer all sorts of question with honesty, making the car shopping and buying process less stressful. The low pressure environment was a huge surprise and pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. I ended up buying the car and was happy to support a local family business!Their prices are lower than youd anticipate b/c the cars they sell have have altered titles. They are salvage titles, but not necessarily in the traditional sense (cars that have been in bad accidents out put back together). My car showed no signs of frame damage and breezed through the random DMV inspection I had to do for registration. Go check out Yamas and theyll answer all your questions!

I purchased a 2008 Nissan 350Z coupe from Yama Auto Brokers on April 2011. The car seemed fine and the people working at Yama seemed trustworthy so I did not bother to check the CARFAX. The Yama Auto brokers employees made me sign a contract and they said that nothing was wrong with the car and that everything was perfect. It turns out that the car was a STOLEN VEHICLE.When I checked the carfax a couple months later, it showed that the car was a stolen vehicle from Reno, California. When I purchased the car it only had 7,856 miles and was selling for such a bargain price that it seemed too good to be true, so I decided to check the carfax. I went through so much suffering and felt betrayed by Yama Auto Brokers, whom I trusted deeply because one of the salesmen said he also went to UC Berkeley so I trusted him deeply because I attended Cal too. They seemed like good people. However, a couple months later I found out the truth behind the vehicle; I felt betrayed and felt the pain of feeling like I was really conned. In the end it was a stolen vehicle and everything was a mess. They should have told me that the car was a stolen vehicle before telling me that everything about the car, its mechanics, its history, was perfect and flawless. I am still heartbroken and lost all my love for the car once I learned it was a stolen vehicle.....I will forever be scarred by Yama Auto Brokers
