Are these actual reviews of the local store? Ive never had any issues with Fremont (Ohio) Auto Parts. Their prices are competitive with the chain stores and the parts always fit right the first time which doesnt usually happen at those places. Ive also had them do machine work on blocks/heads many times with no problems. I actually just placed another order for some oddball parts and Im confident that theyll be what I need.F.Y.I. theyve moved the retail store to Potter Village shopping center but the machine shop is still downtown.

They can not stand up to the work they promise. Instead of dealing with their HUGE mistake they kicked the customer out. They took advantage of the customer, belittled the customer, and did not carry out the very expensive work promised. The engine redo took months almost a year or more longer than they said it would. Other employees got caught in the middle because we felt they were trying to do their job. They do not know how to rebuild a engine. It didnt run, it puked stuff, the paint peeled off the engine, it was a nightmare. This store owner was chosen because in the past when the customer had dealt with them they seemed like they knew what they were doing. Almost 5,000 dollars later the customer was treated very poorly and just wanted the work promised done correctly. Instead the person in charge yelled at him, kicked him out of the store, and hung up on him....In my opinion, very unprofessional and if you cant give the services you promised, then dont take the job.

Napa has good quality parts for a fair priceUpdate 04/2019. Still same place, but they have messed up multiple online orders I have placed over the last couple of years. Staff promise follow up, but never do, large delays in getting parts.Yes, this is the Fremont store in Potter Village.

These guys are very helpful! Everything I have ever needed was in stock.
