Stopped at a competitor (Auto Zone) to get a battery for my car remote. It was the store closest to my home. I walked into that store and the guy behind the counter told me Id have to go to the Lexus dealer to get a new battery (thats a 40 minute drive!). Decided to go down the street to Advanced Auto Parts and they were super helpful. They took my remote apart and replaced the battery for me. They saved me time, gas and hassle. So grateful.

They were great! A nice gentleman helped me today around 12:30 p.m. I needed a quart of oil and he put it in my car for me, since I dont carry a spout. He was very helpful and got my oil for me as well.

The person behind the counter was extremely rude. From the time we walked in to the time we left I felt like we were a bother to him and he really did not want us there. Very unpleasant and unprofessional to say the least. Cigarettes on the counter, YouTube playing on his phone. Will not go back.

Staff seemed inexperienced in vehicle parts, but we prevailed and the needed part was found. Obviously trained to show the customer the most expensive product. That irritates me because although I wont be taken advantage of in a parts store, or any where else, there is no doubt in my mind that many have. Do not like this practice in business. In my opinion, integrity sells more than up-selling.
