So happy the New location is in Fremont. I love the outdoor seating and there’s plenty of parking. This location was easy to find and my coffee was fresh. I definitely will go back again. It does get quite busy during the weekday mornings and weekends! So plan accordingly! Be patient they take their time with a coffee.

Loved their coffee .. their app is good.. you can order ahead and pick up .. We really liked Ambrosia Coffee of god’s.. it’s a nice touch that they put the name of the barista who made the coffee..

I came here to specifically try the iced coffee rose. It was delicious! Super rose-y and floral. A bit sweeter than I would like but the drink tasted great overall. This shop also has a very good setup - people order and immediately leave until its time for them to pick up the order. People are given time estimates (about 10 minutes) on a printout. People who order ahead can just walk in and pick up their drinks. One door to enter and one to exit. Minus 1 star because I asked for light ice and my cup was half ice.

With great disappointment this craft coffeehouse was totally out of cinnamon needed for some their menu items!!! ... Ordered a substitute recommended by cashier which I didnt enjoy ... Total waste of time and money!

Disappointed. Took a drink back because I didnt receive the correct drink. My drink was a mint mojito with ALMOND MILK. I received a drink with LIGHT OAT! WHICH IM ALLERGIC to, and get anaphylaxis. When I returned to the store, the manager on duty kept putting the blame on the customer, rather than trying to simply apologize and listen to my side or suggestion for safety measure for pick up. Yes, accidents happen, but in this case... I could end up in the ER, and she didnt seem to be concerned AT ALL. She was more concerned about blaming the customer. I will not return due to lack of ALLERGY SAFETY MEASURES. Bummed out. Only my 2nd time.

Coffees were very good. they have good selection of coffee both cold n hot. i tried iced ginger snap and mocha tessoro.

Its a really cool, I felt young while waiting for my order!  Most friends strongly recommended it so I wanted to check it out. I just dont regret that! :) We had three delicious, cold coffees: Mojito Mint, Rosé Ice Coffee and one of their best sellers!  A good balance and very delicious! We eat both almond croissant and blueberry muffin. Should you wish, they offer to heat up the food. Both baked good pastries!

Spacious with nice comfy couch to relax, friendly workers and outside and inside are well kept clean.

Good service, staff, and product. What sucks is everything is pretty much done via a pour over. So make sure youve got time to chill as LEAST, 5-6mins for your beverage cuz its yummy and good, but youre def gonna have to wait a bit to get it.

Tried Philz Coffee in Fremont today. Flavorful Iced Coffee Rose along with Avocado Cucumber toast. Yummmmm! Such a unique menu. Friendly and energetic youngsters behind the counter. Great service! Hooked onto this place now. Will surely keep on visiting.

I ordered Philz Soul. Sooo good. I ordered light cream with no sweetener. The coffee was very fresh and had a great taste. Great spot to sit and work or talk to a friend. I will return next time I am in Fremont, California.

Ive had multiple meh experiences here before, but usually its okay if I can catch it before I leave and let the barista know. Today, I found a foreign object (I think its a feather?), and it hasnt been the first time Ive had an issue with dirty cups. Used to be my favorite coffee shop, but doubtful I will return now.

I just love Philz! Everything about this place is wonderful and professional and just the best. The smiles that greet you when you first walk in let you know how good the coffee is going to be. It’s always worth the little extra wait time to have the best cup of coffee of your day...and this Philz was no different! Way to go y’all

Dont know what it is about this Philz but they ruin my drink every time, and when asked to fix it, they ruin that too. Other Philz locations are better.

As a big fan of Philz coffee, I was really happy when they finally opened the Fremont branch. Ive gone there many times since they opened and the experience has been great. Back when we still can order inside, the barista would wait until I take a sip and make sure the order is good. These days, only takeaways are allowed, and my orders are always ready during the specified time. There was one time they ran out of croissant, they substituted it for something else. Simple and easy. Will definitely keep going back here whenever I get the crave.

Philz always delivers amazing cups of coffee! You can really tell how hard this location works especially with how busy it can get. My favorite thing to order is a Dancing Water, Philz Way- The baristas never miss!!!The people up front are always extremely kind too. They look new, but the girls really make me, and my husbands day better with their warm welcoming and goodbyes! They are SO sweet, kind and even make conversation with me once in a while. I really enjoy their addition to the store. It comes to show how dedicated Philz is for recruiting to make the customer experience great, even beyond drink making.The way this store has been operation during COVID is excellent. I wish other businesses look to them and take some notes! Thank you, Philz Fremont.

Good options and excellent staff.

Extreme disappointment... Got there at 6pm. They close at 7pm. The employees were already cleaning the store. We ordered a cappuccino. The lady said the espresso machine was already shutdown and offered to do it with drip coffee. We declined, but my daughter ordered a cold brew. They came back with some coffee that was still warm but filled with ice. Tasted stale and horrible. Went straight to the trash right outside. We then went to the other coffee shop right across the parking lot and got excellent service there.

Gotta wait for the online order coffees before you get the one you ordered from the cashier. I found it funny how there was noone else in the shop and 10-20 other drinks kept popping up and you had to wait about 15 minutes for the online order rush to calm down meanwhile those 20 coffees and just sitting there getting cold

The coffees are excellent, but employees total opposite, too much unnecessary attitude. They mixed up our order, when we confronted they said we need to pay a dollar fir them to make another order. Its not about the money, its the ethics, why should we pay for their goofup.Never had such issues with Starbucks or Petes. Not going to fremont philz for sure.

Personally, I dont understand the hype or why people are willing to wait in line for this coffee. Its all pour over and I wasnt very impressed with the flavor. Their scones were really delicious, as was the almond croissant. Its so loud and crowded in here that its a terrible place to study or even have a conversation unless you like the crowded trendy vibe. Everyone else loves it here, so dont take my word for it.

Cool place for coffee in your afternoon meal break. Lots of varieties of blended coffee and some with old and hot. A good change for Starbucks replacement . Expected Long queue in the week end and peak hours.

Love this coffee place, its better than Peets Coffee

Came in and was promptly helped and asked the barista about a drink I had never tried before (The Philz Iced Tea) then had the drink and literally a few sips before I had to take a picture of the presentation. As soon as I had lidded the drink, I leaned over to grab my charging cable for my laptop, and I spilled my beverage all over the floor. I promptly got up and let a Barista know what happened, and as I got in line to re-order and re-pay for my drink I was told that another barista had already started re-making my drink and after I had a sip of that tea. I knew that I loved Philz for their amazing and consistent coffee. Thank you so much for being just the thing I needed in the morning.

I have had a love for Philz Coffee ever since I used to work in SF before they had expanded over to the greater Bay Area. The Fremont location has great staff and they make the coffee better than where I used to go over at China Basin. I love using the app to order ahead and pick up before the line grows.

Easily the worst coffee I’ve ever had. It tastes like an entire pot boiled down into one oddly thick sludge of bitter hell so bad that even the old marine trick of adding salt couldn’t reduce the bitter flavor. Drinking it feels like a punishment from God himself for my life of sin, and even then, feels like cruel and unusual punishment. If I was running from a horde of zombies and Philz Coffee was the only safety in the vicinity, I would probably just let the zombies eat me instead of taking the chance of ever drinking this again.Their brownies are pretty good though, so extra star for that.

Philz coffee is pretty much a staple for any high schooler or college grad. Its a hip place to get delicious coffee with good music taste. This Fremont location is a bit on the smaller side, so sometimes it can be more difficult to find seating to get some studying done, but usually its quite manageable. I appreciate this stores hours opening relatively late. Music taste is good but can sometimes be hip-hop dominant. Im a fan, but this can be loud and distracting if youre trying to focus.

Decent coffee. Ordering process is very app-centered, so do NOT just show up there and try order. A little pricey compared to what you might expect from a coffee place, but comparable to Peets for a good coffee in my opinion. The app experience is a less customizable than an in-person order, so if you are a finicky coffee drinker, beware!

Hard to beat Philz Coffee. Do *not* come here looking for a quick cup unless youve ordered ahead. This is a pour-over shop that prides itself on quality coffee one cup at a time. Go to Starbucks if you want splash-n-dash. Come to Philz if you want great coffee.

I ordered the cinnamon toast crunch this time open my friends recommendation. It tastes much better iced than hot in my opinion! I also tried the ecstatic, which I actually preferred over the cinnamon toast crunch. The staff is very friendly and welcoming too! Also, the avocado toast was much better now!I wish they had more outlets near the tables next to the window, even though it seems a bit impossible. Sometimes I come with a dead laptop which I know isnt there fault, but it would be nice to have accessibility to outlets besides the ones at the wooden table and the corners of the cafe! Other than that, I frequent Philz more often now, and would recommend it to others.If you are planning to study, I find it best to come around 2-3. It wasnt as hectic and busy.

Philz is just good coffee. The wait is sometime long so allow enough time during the morning peak. But the fresh cup is worth the wait! For dark roast, Jacobs Wonderbar and Julie’s are my faves. Try regular cream and light sugar or no sugar with an almond croissant. Great way to start the workday while catching up on emails!

I love Philz. Their green tea is my favorite and Tantalizing Turkish. I buy bags of that to brew at home now.

Super unimpressed. Was hoping for so much more.First issue is really my fault. I went there on a friends advise but I only drink espresso, so I guess I should have done better research of my own. Only filtered coffee on offer here, and it does state this a few clicks into the website.Was hoping the pastries would be the saving grace but unfortunately not. My croissant was dry, one of my kids who loves cinnamon buns didnt like the texture or taste of hers and wouldnt eat it, and the other didnt think much of her bagel, so it was also left uneaten.For a first time customer the Freemont store is also pretty confusing. Its all a little hectic, signage is poor, and apparently you cant order pastries from the coffee counter, or at least that was my experience with the grumpy staff member on Sunday. Unlikely Ill return, even for food.

Philz encourage customers to bring their own cup. No matter what size it is. Philz will fill it up and only charge for small cup price. This applies all Philiz coffee store. It becomes my new favorite. Awesome ‼

Im very fond of this Philz. I mean, Philz in general is awesome, but this one in particular makes me happy. I like the layout of this store, and it feels airy and welcoming, plus the art on both the walls and the furniture (yes, some tables are also art!) is nifty.I tried out the mobile order app today, and walking up and having my coffee magically appear before me was pretty special. The fact that they have a separate door for the mobile orders so you can literally run in, grab your coffee, and run out is also lovely. Their bakery section is on the larger side, which is delightful, although they dont let you order food through the app yet so I had to grab that separately.The staff is courteous and helpful, and the atmosphere made me wish I had time to hang out this morning. Hopefully next time Im in town to see my oncologist I can arrive a little early and relax with a book and my coffee!

Best coffee in the area.

Another fast paced coffee shop. It’s cool because each cup is brewed through its own filter and made kind of the old fashion way and you taste it when they give it to you and they will add more of what we you want to your liking. Its not like SB. I like the chai tea cold or hot. My wife used to get the coffee and loved it. I just wish they had a bigger tea selection. But still a cool little coffee spot they have some treats to eat as well. Does get busy in the morning and lunch time so allow your self time.

Place is cool, clean and comfortable. Sometimes guys trying to sell you life insurance in a suit lol! Come on man! A suit in a coffee shop! What are you a used car salesmen!!

Every time I come here there staff are very friendly. My favorite coffee is the Iced rose and they always make it perfect for me. I think this locationsmakes their coffee a lot better than the Palo Alto location near university Ave. Definitely try it!

The food is good as always but its super loud. funny because other reviews said it was quiet, so i guess it depends on the day. The inside noise isnt well managed, the music was loud which caused everyone else to be loud to talk over it. then the staff itself was having fun (which is fine) but also led to loudness and the volume of everything just amplified. Yes they were busy but I actually had to leave to go to starbucks to find a quieter place to work.

Great iced coffee and egg avocado toast. Such easy mobile ordering. Only for coffee though. You cant mobile order food because they like to make it fresh. So close to the hospital too.

I love coming here and treating myself to a Gingersnap. Staff is always polite and friendly. The environment is very casual and relaxed, has a great neighborgood feel and tons of natural light. Great place just to come chill. And they have a great food selection as well.

They roast and grind the coffee in front of you!!! You just have to go inside and see this process, you would feel as if you are drinking the fresh and best!! Recommend it!!
