Place was pretty sweet. The people there are nice and not pushy. They have new school and old school dragon shields. Singles and all kinds of other board games, 40k stuff, playing sections. Cool store.

Stopped in for the first time since moving to Fremont and I have to say Im really impressed by the selection. I need to go back just to take it all in again. Lol as for the employee that was working... he was great. Very informative and super friendly. I cant wait to go back, much to the chagrin of my girlfriend. Lol

Very diverse selection of D&D, Warhammer and Star Wars legion items. They have a nice selection of paints. We had no problem with parking. I am a little disappointed that they don’t carry Gundam

Great staff. Answered all questions. Best part is the game room area where you can demo their stash of games. We tried out a few games with our 5 year old, seeing what she liked and could grasp. Will definitely go back.

Great place for picking up the latest expansion for your favorite board game or look for new ones. The staff is attentive and knows their stuff. Has some Magic but it is not their main focus. Has additional locations in Santa Clara and Mt View.

Very helpful staff. Easy to find new highly rated games. Very roomy. During COVID-19 requires wearing a mask to enter and limited to 15 people in the store at a time. Parking is in back. The lot also has an entrance off Main which is off Union. During rush hour that driveway might be easier top enter than trying to make a left of Washington if youre coming from Fremont Blvd. Next door is at least one restaurant. Across the street from a Burger King and near Safeway.

A great little hobby and games store. Good representation for board games and miniature wargames. They have rentable game space too. The staff is knowledgeable and will engage with you when you walk in. Would like to see a better / more consistent supply of brushes.

Ive been in here a few times, even though this wasnt the closest location for me. The guys in here have always been very friendly and eager to help whenever I walk on the door. Definitely like the vibe of the store and would recommend anybody.One word of caution which isnt this stores fault, Google maps will not take you directly to the store. The entrance for the store is around the block behind from where it thinks you should park. Its not bad at all, but it will probably be confusing on your first trip.

By far the best game store Ive ever been to! Great staff, great business model, huge selection of games, and filled with like minded people! Whenever Im in town this is a must stop place! Also has free games to play and sample while youre there!

This is the best store on the face of the earth, STELLAR Staff and an amazing selection of games. Theyve reccomended me some games I had never heard of that ate now my all time favorite games. Gartland is one of the best workers and most caring people Ive always met. He is always happy to see us missionaries and hes the one of the main reasons I shop here and not anywhere else for my gaming needs

The store was clean, had a great atmosphere, and had plenty of different small events going on. The staff greeted promptly, was friendly (rather than standoffish), and there were a lot of smiles and conversations explaining games for a friendly environment to new players. There were drinks in a cooler and several public house-style alcoves for specific events to feel separated but still easy to recognize their separate space. The store was well stocked from paints, minis, dice, table top games and pen and paper. The only reason for 4/5 was that parking and location werent great. Having said that, it was a short walk from a block or so away, a little off the beaten path. I would recommend it for gaming needs or for new players to be able to learn and interact and explore new games with friendly folks, rather than going the Amazon route.

Very nice store, had a lot of items. Was able to get some DND player handbooks and what not for a fair price. Their rewards system is pretty cool. Angelica (really hope that was her name) was the cashier at the time and was very nice, friendly, and helpful.

I always have a lovely time here. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and the store is clean and well stocked, the gaming area is a little bit tight but it more than serves its purpose. But if you are playing table top games then you should bring your own terrain.

Wonderfully helpful staff, helped me find a great miniature for my Call of Cthulhu campaign, while being very honest about prices and quality. Top of the line assistance, extremely friendly, and reasonably priced. Walked away with 4 miniatures for under 40 bucks. I make a huge attempt to come back here every time Im in town

Friensly staff, table space is split between two rooms but terrain is easily accessible. Solid scheduling, community is pleasant. Healthier snacks might be nice but I wont ding a star for that.

Excellent selection, attentive managers, and its clean and welcoming. This is a great place to visit to see where you can jump into the hobby! From wargaming to board games to tabletop RPGs, they have a diverse range of things to pick from, as well as the associate accoutrements.Google maps lead me to the front door instead of the parking lot, though. Led to a bit of frustration, just a heads up.

A bit cramped, but GKF is a fully stocked independent gaming store with a strong bent towards hobbyist miniatures games (talk to manager Seth for some of the best hobby gaming suggestions you can find on the West Coast). Has an official D&D Adventure League.

Game Kastle is great! The Fremont location is a little smaller than Santa Clara and much smaller than Mountain View, but its still a great facility with excellent board game options and tables to play on. Staff is always super nice and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and have great a knowledge of the product they sell. Prices are excellent, and the playspace is fantastic! I will definitely be coming back and telling friends about this place!

Prices are a little high and parking can be a pain sometimes, but despite that the staff is friendly and very helpful. Also, they have a decent amount of games that you can use for free and there usually is space for playing with your friends.

I dont see the point of their return policy. Why would anyone return a game without playing it. If we wanted to return a game by just reading the instructions we would have read it online even before buying the game.We just opened the wrap of one bunch of codename cards and didnt even play it. They didnt accept our return because of that and they mentioned that its not in resalable condition.They should have clearly mentioned what resalable condition exactly means and make it clear that return policy is USELESS.But a great collection of games. That is what the 3 is for.

Its alright. I went there for Magic and they gave me a free deck since there was an event. Its one of the rare game places you can find around here.

This place has literally everything you could ever want in board games and roleplaying games. I would personally make more trips here if I lived in the area still. Only complaint is that it seems a little cramped but they make it feel as open as they can with all the stuff they have.

Has a pretty great selection of board games, and miniature games. They do Friday Night Magic, so they open until 12 on Fridays, but they dont have a lof of Magic the Gathering cards for sale. They have painting supplies and tools for Infinity, Warhammer, Malifaux, and you can usually find someone to play with. You can also ask for painting advice, and the people there are nice and will answer a lot of questions (even if theyre customers).

Friendly clerks who know their games. Im a regular here, come here enough and everybody will know you on a first name basis (you wanna go where everyone knows your name). They have D&D, Warhammer, Magic the Gathering tourneys Friday nights, all the Star Wars tabletop and board games (Armada, X-wing, Legion, Imperial Assault, Destiny), Malifaux, all kinds of Cthulu games, whatever kind of tabletop game is your deal, they either have it or can tell you where to get if they dont actually carry it (like some casual stuff has gone Target exclusive). My favorite store in the whole world, staffed by some of my favorite people. Its also a social place to come and hobby or play games with other patrons.
