Always professional and organized drop and hook. All the guards are helpful and very pleasant to the drivers, never an issue. Jade is a breathe of fresh air, she is always positive and cheerful, excellent guard, an asset to have. Love coming here, hope to see you all again soon. First time I hauled fat hogs into this plant personally today. Our drivers always said that it went very smooth. Seemed like they had the trucks staged perfectly for minimal wait. The help was polite, friendly, clean-cut, and actually acted like they enjoyed their job (not all packing plants are this way!) Keep up the good work!

WARNING!!! dont come to this place as you will be stuck for several hours, absolute joke to the trucking industry.

App was at 7am, I came for pickup at 7:10 am, go to the gate through Yager rd.Checked in at guard house. Pu# starts from 7.. They gave the door right away, backup, and disconnected. Then parked outside of the gate.

Hit and miss getting right in and out. The guards are friendly and do the best they can with what they have. When calling to check status of load at times get someone helpful and at times no answer at all. Drop lot for empty trailers can be trying to find place to drop but doable. Hate picking up trailer same place they unload pigs at times trucks can be backed up and making hook up a little tricky. All in all I haul out of her quite a bit and it’s not the worst place I’ve hauled out of.

This company is very unproffesional, they hire you on, do 2 days of orientation, 2 days of work and run the background check while they have you work and then let you go when it comes back with something small saying they have a strict policy but have you working before the background even comes back. The hiring process needs to be re-evaluated and updated. Just know this company is not one you want to work for, i was banned for verbally expressing my opinion on why i was let go from the job and lost my cafeteria job as well so they let me go during a pandemic and i worked hard for both jobs and i also worked as a security officer at one point so im good enough to serve food and secure the premises, but not work inside the plant.

Expect to wait a good hour or two if your dropping off pigs.

What a absolute joke. How can you hold a person past the drop time for over 3 hours and counting because your so incompetent that you forgot about the load. Then your guard shack workers are even more incompetent when they cant tell the difference between a damn 0 and a 1

Always respectful and friendly! Product exceeds excellence! Production SOPS and plans go much further than whats required by a USDA inspected food company. Very much impressed. I recommend to anyone that Hormel Foods is the #1 food to buy!

Got to go by the other reviewers on getting your load. People are nice but getting your load is like pulling teeth from a gator. Supposed to have preloaded trailer and still waiting on it over 3 hours later.

Been here 5 hours now waiting for a drop n hook and still 3 more hrs to go they said... no facilities for drivers waiting this long is uncalled for.

Horrible place to deliver. App was at 6 and came in at 5:30. Nite guard does not have an idea what happens, she call in a supervisor who leaves with my paperwork and comes back after 30mins only to let me know am at the wrong gate. Goes to the back of the building, checks in and have to wait till 7am for morning shift. sits for 4hrs being unloaded.
