This is a great place to shop for home improvement items. I really like the friendly and patient staff that are willing to advice and provide helpful suggestions. They usually have very knowledgeable people who are able to easily understand my ignorant questions. I will choose them over Home Depot any day. I will only go to other stores when dale might not have what I need.

What more can I say about Dale Hardware. Been going there since I moved to Fremont in 1985. It has grown and had some growing pains but the people they employ are first class. A bit more expensive than Home Depot but you always get the correct answer to your questions with real professionals (some are retired contractors). Thank you for remaining open during the pandemic. I hope your wood department come back as I find it much more convenient than going to Home Depot.

I have to be honest I did not know this place until today. What have I missed! This place is truly great. It will become my go-to for hardware - immense section with all sorts of bolts and screws. I also found excellent selection and very good pricing on plumbing, especially 4in ABS stuff. There are so many departments and a lot of helpful people around. Definitely a step above

Dales has everything, literally! And the most helpful and knowledgeable staff of any hardware store Ive ever gone to. Sure, their prices may be a bit higher than other places but with the time you save and just the overall positive experience, why go anywhere else? 5 stars!

I came in to Dale to get re-screening done. They were fast and efficient in taking my measurements.The young gentleman told me that it will be done in 7 to 10 days.To my surprised they called me just a few days later that they were done and ready for pickup. When I got there to pick up my screens I noticed two were not properly done and they still had holes. The associate named Robby said wait here we will fix for you . In 20 mins it was done and looked really nice .Love this place always great customer service. Thank you again to Roddy.

Beautiful store, very clean and tidy. I was impressed at the comprehensive selection of all hardware products as well as gardening and painting supplies. This store gives me the impression that its a Home Depot or Lowes on steroids. Prices can be a bit higher than what you can find at other hardware stores while other products undercut the competitors, you just gotta be a proactive researcher and know what to buy here at what can be purchased elsewhere.

Getting a couple of keys copied was easy and liked that they had a range of prices and lots of choices from kids decorations to the butterflies and the skulls that seem to say Dont touch.

Its right around the corner from my house so its convenient. Also not super busy so you can usually get in and out pretty quick unlike Home Depot. Prices are higher though so thats the trade off.

I enjoy coming to Dales. Their customers service never stops to amaze me. From the customer service desk to the key making station, to the cashiers and the people on the floor always asking if I need help they all deserve five stars!

A great plant selection (indoor and outdoor) if youre in the market for that. The paint department was very efficient and helped out with all the fixing we were going to need to paint our cabinets. Every time I have gone in, people have been very nice and going beyond to help us out. Especially when we were jerry-rigging our sink to allow us to use a portable washing machine.Definitely give this local shop a go! Prices CAN be higher than Home Depot / Lowes, but thats to be expected.

Ive been living here 20 plus years and its always the same thing when going into Dales hardware. As I should have expected their team of associates steadily follow me around the store overly helpful and its just hard sometimes to deal with. I understand their jobs and what not but you would think after all these years despite what I look like I get a fair shake Ill be followed so much but it lost prevention and associates. Other than that Ive always enjoyed going into Dales hardware because youre truly are a local hardware store I can find things that were manufactured and early 70s that need to be replaced in my home and its just its all around inventory that I like. Its almost like a kid in a candy factory with a sweet tooth.

Nice n clean place, very organized, most of things you need they are there. Each shelf’s are used very efficiently. More type of items are put rather than many items of few types. Folks are always there to make sure items are always there and they are always there to help you.Reruns are also not a hassle.

Solid selection, GREAT service. Nowadays youd be hard pressed to find one employee who can assist you across multiple departments at any other retail store, but I got help in gardening and hardware. They even opened up an extra register to make sure a line didnt build up as traffic increased. Good people

I hadnt been to Dales in years. There isnt one where I live. Managers and regular employees were very friendly and helpful. Unlike some of the larger mega home improvement centers that I wont mention. They are well stocked and have a wide variety of items a hardware store should have. You park, go in, buy what you need and you are on your way. I also like the atmosphere of going into a regular store, instead of that of a warehouse.

This is the place to shop for project supplies that I cant find in any other stores. Staffs are knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions.

Beautiful well stocked large hardware store. The staff has always been knowleable and helpful. Busy as weather begins to get warmer on weekends. Make sure to check out their Garden Center...beautiful and serene to just walk thru and enjoy the beautiful array of plants for every type of garden. North/South facing yards, Perennials/Annuals to water conscious gardening...nice selection.

Second gen Dale hardware customer here... yes there are other places to go and yes they may be a little bit cheaper but you will never get the service and the correct knowledgeable help like you will at Dell hardware. Well worth the little more money

I usually find my parts for working on my car but when it comes to nuts and bolts..Nobody beats a hardware store .it was a great experience and i founds all the things i needed..right away. What made it wxtra special is the cashier treat my friend and u like we were all friends. Hard to find that quality but she was wonderful. May all be blessed.

Nicely organized hardware store. This is the first time I have been here, frequenting other hardware stores instead.I was pleasantly surprised at the layout in the store. It was very clean. There were no huge lines outside the store. The lady staff in the gardening section was super helpful. She showed all the things that i asked for, personally.It is a little bit pricey when compared to other stores. But overall it was a good experience.

One of the few places that you can go to get nuts, bolts, screws and actually understand what you are looking at there and then basically look at the size and go directly to what you need! Their nuts and bolts isle is the best organized I have ever seen!They are helpful and kind and want to actually help you.. I would go to this store before going to a huge box store!

The 5th star is missing due to a lack of variety, but its not a big box store so they cant have everything. Overall great experience.

I have been shopping at Dales since I bought my 1st home in Fremont in 1988. Now as a renter I rely on Dales for everything because I dont like having landlords or servicemen in my house. Its nice to be able to go over to Dales, just go down the street and find everything I need at Dales. Today I got some great deals on holiday lights, which made me feel really bright and ready for Christmas. I always go there for my bird seed my bird feeders my hummingbird feeders although I make my own hummingbirds solution. I just love going to Dales, everyone is so professional, everyone is so nice. This is truly the best hardware store, dont waste your time anywhere else.
