I love the service and atmosphere of this one-stop fabric shop. They have lots of fun and exciting classes you can take part in, not only sewing, but embroidery, crochet, and more, for all ages. They have a voluminous array of fabrics and fun sewing accessories available for purchase. Anything you could think of for sewing is there, even furniture. If not, Andrea will order it for you. They offer embroidery services, which I have used, and they do a beautiful job. I taught a sewing class for them last year, and when I am back in shape health-wise to return to teaching for them some again I intend to. You will find Andrea, Bonnie, and Tyler very pleasant and eager to help you with what you need. And...no driving in busy traffic to get there! It’s fantastic!

We were so excited when Sparkly Elephant Sewing Lounge opened up- great addition to our local arts & crafts scene! And now they have “The Ivory Room” for events (love the play on words by the way 😄). Always very helpful when me and my daughter go in to pick up some trendy new fabric and we look forward to taking classes from their in the future & furthering our skills! 🧵 🪡

Love, love, love this wonderful shop! Its been one of my favorite safe places to go during this past year. The owner and her staff see their customers as friends and family, and are eager to make sure that everyone feels safe, comfortable, and welcome. They also offer a wide variety of classes for just about every interest and ability level in the sewing world. Ive taken several, and enjoyed them all. So glad I found this place! They have always been so nice and friendly.I loved the fact that they let me bring my son to a class that I signed up for, without realizing that he would be out of school that day. (Pre Covid) They had NO problem with him coming.I also love bringing my friends here ! 💓

Sparkly Elephant is one of my two favorite quilting stores in Houston. (It’s a tie for first.) This store is on the smaller side, but it is filled with all kinds of amazing, wonderous, sparkly quilting things. I can’t visit without finding a dozen things I want to take home. The strengths of this store are the big wall of quilting/sewing implements and the wide selection of recently released precuts. But the best part is that the prices here are similar to the online sources. As a result, all of my fabric and precut purchases during covid have come from this store. And if you get on the mailing list, she will sometimes send out coupons for special events!!

I am so impressed with the variety of shirts from which to choose, and even more delighted with the beautiful work on the embroidered logos! Excellent product. Excellent embroidery and SUPERB customer service!!!!! Our FHS Varsity volleyball team qualified for State and we were on a very limited time frame to get gift baskets together for the players. In a wonderful display of community support, Andria managed to get 25 blankets embroidered in a matter of days (other shops asked for 2 weeks to turn the job around). Her team helped to send our girls off with a beautiful keepsake and we are all beyond grateful!!! Things like this are exactly why I will always chose to shop small & local.

The Sparkly Elephant Lounge is a great place to find your creativity. From products, to classes, to embroidery and other services, this is a one-stop shop for needle-craft needs. We have had several items embroidered by this shop and not only did they come out great, the return time was great. We didn’t experience any delays even during busy times like back-to-school or Christmas!

The classes offered are fun and amazing! You can learn anything from basic how to sew, to calligraphy, or even fun crafty projects! We all loved them! The fabrics they sell are updated regularly, so makes it great for quilting!

I love everything about The Sparkly Elephant. The store has done a few embroidery projects for me that have turned out fantastic. I can’t wait to sign up for some of their classes so I can actually learn how to use my sewing machine instead of saving it for when my mom comes to town. Highly recommend.

What an amazing little lounge that packs a punch in Friendswood! Its such a fun place for anyone who needs custom embroidery done or has sewing needs. The versatility makes it a wonderful, fun place to hang out with all the classes that are offered for everyone, from children to adults.

After a horrible experience with a different company, I was left with a bunch a shirts that I was afraid were ruined and would need to be thrown out. They were able to have our company logo digitized, created patches, and were not only able to save our shirts, but they truly look amazing!! I couldnt be happier with the results and will definitely use them again!
