I went to Lids at Baybrook mall yesterday. The selection is great. The reason for this review is not for that reason it’s for the great customer service I received from Tyra. She answered every question I had even helped me match hats with my shoes. I was in the store for about a hour. She did not get frustrated she made me feel comfortable with my purchase. GREAT JOB!!!

I went in (Store 9240...next to T Mobile) looking for a cap I hadn’t already had to add to my collection and stumbled up on the BEST💪🏽💯 embroidery on hats that I’ve ever been associated with in my life lol The young lady, D, that does a lot of the embroidery, is very detail oriented which ALWAYS leads to her producing a quality hat once she’s done. You can’t beat efficiency, productivity and, most of all, QUALITY. I would recommend this store to ANYONE if they’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work as well as your product
The girl with the braids was really rude. The store closed at 6pm. She locked the door at 5:45. We were trying to leave the store when the door was locked and couldn’t open the door and she told us “can’t you see the door is locked? Wait for me to open it before you try to leave!” Why is the door locked at 5:45pm if they don’t close until 6pm? She started grunting and making noises when we were trying to open the door to leave like we were wrong. We are the customers why are we getting yelled at? She had horrible customer service skills and needs new training.

Being that I HAVE to give them 1 star I did, but I wish negative was a choice. BOTH the LIDS inside Baybrook mall are terrible! We went to one the employee said How yall doing? And went right behind the counter to continue talking to the other employees there, so we left. I remembered seeing another one in the mall for whatever reason they need 2 so we decided to give them a try. When we walked in there was a lady who clearly worked there behind the register talking and showing a man something on the phone, so were thinking its a customer asking for help, nope! After they were done he walked towards us and were thinking to see if we need anything, nope! He goes right to all the hats he left on the floor to continue to put them on the racks, and the lady behind the register didnt say sh@& either. So I said loudly, wow! 2 locations here in the mall and they both suck! We were going to get a couple customized hats but we gladly gave our money to the guy at the hat kiosk who was more than happy to help us. I wont ever be going to Lids again sad to say. That was my first time in and it was terrible.
Anthony went above and beyond to locate a particular cap that I was looking for. His location did not have it in stock, so he went to their 2nd location and tracked it down for me. Since I was working that day, he put it in the back for me and held it for 2 days. Excellent customer service, A+

Paid 45$ to get a hat embroidered with my college emblem since they don’t have the actual fiftynine fifty in stock, and what a waste for such a small symbol. Then they ask to upcharge you for a higher quality yarn, like how much can yarn be lol, anyways when everything was done I received a hat with an inch embroidered symbol, didn’t take up any space. I was thinking this is it, for what I paid, should of got it online. Dont get talked into an embroidered hat.
Online it says they open at 10am and claimed to be open. Got there and it was closed. Very frustrating.
I visited today to get a Astros World Series hat with signature embroider. MOD Karen was extremely helpful and professional. The hat turned out perfect and has a perfect fit for my husband!!!! Amazing work!!!! Thank you!!!!!

I went in looking for a hard-to-find size of a particular hat and, after finding that there was one in stock, the associate was unrelenting in his search until he found it. Best service I’ve ever received at a Lids!
This is a grocery store, its clean and affordable with good quality.
Hats are high but you can get just about any hat here. Plus they personalize them for a price of course.
