Great store for your tactical readiness needs! This store has clothes, backpacks, holsters, molle gear, carry systems, plate carriers, mag pouches, moral patches, boots, and plenty of other stuff to spend your money on. Nice store, great customer service, with friendly staff. Quality products but a little pricey.

Ive always ordered online, but today I was in the need of boots asap. I would have given this location a 4/5 rating due to the fact that they dont keep a stock of 6 A.T.A.C. 2.0 desert...non side-zip. I understand the demographics though.Yesterday afternoon I had called the store to check stock. I was told they didnt have them. The reason I gave 5 stars...the customer service provided to me by Connor. Very open about the stock issues & answered my questions without appearing to hide anything. I ended up buying the 8 sidr-zip version. Not exactly what I wanted, but still happy with the boots. Ive worn them all morning, after swapping insoles...no break-in needed. Great boots 5.11!

Review of the store, not the brand or products. Clean store with pretty much everything you can buy from 5.11 in just about every size they make. The people are extremely helpful, and not in annoying, intrusive way. I liked being able to try on different sizes and comparing similar products.

5.11 is such a disappointing company. They could be great, but just arent. Their sudo innovation, adoption of leftist policy, and unwillingness to lead when opportunities surface shows cowardice in the face of oppression. And their products just arent that good. Not for the prices they want. You can find their attire and gear outfitted on the most elite of the Tacti-cool, usually on the range with a perfectly cerakoted rifle, that will stay pretty for years to come. Dont waste your hard earned cash on a product of inferior nature. Do your research, and find the proper tool for the job, that will last for years to come and will be ready when your life depends on it.

Edit: 5/1/2019The boots I bought didn’t last quite a year before they developed a sizable tear on the left boot, near my big toe. About 2 inches long where the top leather was separating from the soul. I called and was told they did have a guarantee for boots. Upon arriving they looked over the boots, in the back. When they brought them back out I was told they could only give me 20% off towards the next pair. I remained calm. I was able to get an explanation from the manager- he said they only cover manufacturing defects not due to wear and tear, and that the tear was due to the normal operation/life time of the boot? So I understand: my boots are all worn out after 10 months of use. I feel that’s a load of BS considering every tv in the store is advertising to military/extreme situations where any piece of their gear would be exposed to a much harsher environment than the aviation hangar where I wore the boots.Employees and store front are nice, but now I no longer trust their products/customer support.Pics are of boots in current condition.6/30/2018Cleane store, proactive employees. I walked in, was greeted immediately, and helped all the way through the purchase of some boots. The guy seemed to know pretty well the products they sold as he was quick to answer questions and provide advice following the the things I said I was looking for. Walked in, bought boots, walked out, whole operation took less than 20 minutes. Thanks 5.11 Frisco!!I only wish I had a store like this closer than 1 hour and 45 minutes from my home!

If you own a company and you need to pick out uniforms don’t go here. The guy working did a horrible job explaining the product line, was too lazy to pull sizes that fit me, and prioritized whatever paperwork he was working on next to the register. Store was empty.

We enjoyed our first visit. No mask mandates, nice people. No tyranny. Next visit they had gotten orders from California corporate HQ - liberal kooks sent orders from on high. They would fire the manager if any customer was seen not wearing a mask. The employees live in fear that they will lose employment and health insurance if they dont herd all the jews and put them on box cars....oooops, I mean follow orders and enforce them exactly as they are told from chain of command. Call corporate, we were told on a follow up visit to exchange. We had already called. That was a joke. Corporate hung up on us.These are poor, suffering people employed by these wack jobs. Im going to do my par to help them find better employment.

Worst store experience Ive had in a while. Only one employee was present while I was in the store. He was helping another customer. I get helping a customer, but to ignore all the other customers in the store doesnt make sense to me. Waiting at the check out line for over eight minutes and was never helped.

Well, 5.11 Corporate in California needs to keep up with local policies and inform/educate their staff.Ever since, the previous Manager (Collin) left the store, its gone to trash. Uninformed employees is the worst in retail.Corporate office, follow local policies!!!

Part 2 - Went back and had a totally different experience this time around. This time Domingo was at the desk and he was great to deal with and very attentive. Very satisfied with the information provided and all the stuff I purchased and they did an excellent job at a 2nd first impression. Btw they had no clue of my first review so his customer service skills were genuine and he treated everyone walking into the store with energy and great info about everything in the store.Part 1 - They had great stuff (a little pricey) but nice stuff. This is why the get 1 star, and the get -9 stars for the lack of customer service. We walked in and the salesperson had only one customer who was was chatting with at the counter. We were never greeted when we walked in, and as we browsed we felt totally ignored, even though the earlier customer had already left. Eventually after 15 minutes he acknowledged my wife. We looked around and were totally surprised at the amount of merchandise that was not tactical in anyway. After about 30 minutes The sales person decided that he would engage with us. By then it was too late and I did not feel that being ignored was worth paying premium pricing for merchandise.

No complaints. Service was friendly and quick. They have some great gear. Picked up a t-shirt and a rescue tool. Bags are awesome and made like a tank.

I love the store and products. The employees are always nice and helpful. The reason for only 2 stars-I have a $500 gift card from 5.11, they will not let you use gift cards online. So, I go all the way to the brick and mortar store to spend my gift card to find empty shelves and nothing in my size... “No worries” I thought, I’ll just order my clothes through the store and pick them up when they come in. NOPE!! They won’t do in store orders!!! So, I have a $500 gift card that is practically worthless. So a recap, I can’t use gift card online, they have empty shelves, no ‘in store’ orders, and won’t give my money back for the card. Lost cause.

This place is straight up awesome. I came in looking for a large expandable bag that was built with quality in mind. I had a bad experience with poor quality products via Amazon. I found the Rush 72 bag and it was love at first sight. Exactly what I was looking for with a premium build quality thats meant to last. The employees are nice and very helpful with any questions/concerns you have. If youre looking at their products online; do yourself a favor and go check out the store in person. Im an IT consultant so I have plenty of room to build out a effective field bag to handle any situation. I can use this bag for hiking and certainly for taking it to the range.

They were too busy with what seemed to be an impromptu yoga class to pay attention to us or have the stock out where it belonged.

Very helpful staff. Ask for it, even if it is not out on the racks and they will find it for you. Great fitting and comfortable clothes with a lot more function than any other tactical gear. They have a lot of product in stock in the back and they are more than happy to go open up a box to get whatever you need. Sea Scouts and Sea Scouters of the BSA, you will want the Dark Navy Tac-Lite Pro Pants and Short Sleeve Shirts if you are buying pants and shirts for your Official Sea Scouts BSA (nee New Century) Uniform.

Not everything that 5.11 makes is popular with everyone, but some of their products are the best products I have come across. The employees at this store are exceedingly helpful when asking about the items 5.11 produces.This is much better than buying on Amazon of you dont already know your size.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The person who greeted us answered all our questions and several others checked in with us as we looked around. Sometimes it can be a bit much when youre approached multiple times in a store but here everyone was genuinely helpful and there was no pressure at all.They were out of stock on the main thing I came in for but I will 100% go back in the future.

This store is outstanding in all respects. Colin and staff are very helpful but not in your face. The selection of professional tactical gear and related items is fantastic having most of their catalog items in stock for your evaluation. All items purchased have been top tier and exceeded my expectations. Make sure to allow extra time as you will undoubtedly enjoy the adventure.

If you have any sort of need for tactical gear or just want something that is functional, durable, practical shop here. Or if you just want to look cool at the range/work/mowing the yard/grocery store, etc. I bought their trainers belt several years ago which has held up very well in hot/cold weather. The belt supports whatever you attach/hang from it. I am looking forward to the opportunity to buy some clothing and other items that meet the approval of SHE who cashes my paycheck.

The store is kept clean and the employees are great. Most of the products in the store seemed to be of great quality. Unfortunately, almost everything is priced high. The black RUSH12 backpack, for example, is $100 in-store. The same backpack sold by 5.11 on Amazon is $79. Doesnt give much incentive to stop by. I would expect everything with the high prices I saw to be made in the USA. Many of them arent. Id only visit again if I wanted to see the item in person before purchasing online.

I have been to the location in San Antonio, and was VERY excited to see that a store had opened in the metroplex. The customer service experience at the one in San Antonio was sub-par at best, but the experience at the Frisco location was AWESOME!!! The gentleman that was helping us was ultra friendly and showed us where all of the savings was. we ended up walking out of there with a couple hundred dollars worth of clothes, shoes, patches, holsters and other items. Plan on spending some time here looking around, this place is awesome!!!

Well first off I came to this location just because of the bad reviews on the Arlington tx location. Before I even walked in the store there were two employees at the door that greeted me and were very nice. They were willing to with what ever needs I had. Mingo (I hope I spelled that right) was the sales associate that helped me with my boot that I went in to exchange and had no problem with. He helped me find the right size and even went to the back to see if they had the size I needed (I have small feet). I brought my son with me and he even went out of his way to see that he was happy too ;) helped me find a knife and even went through some of the merchantdise that I couldnt get at the time and answered all my questions. I drove 2 hours and was pleased with the service. Ill definately come back.

Ok, rarely does a floor sales guy knows what he is doing. But the guy who waited on us knew his product and the store. Excellent customer service and the product is pretty good too. If it were not for the sales floor guy we would not have made a purchase.This store is highly recommended.

Amazing store, all of the gear they sell is quality stuff and sets the standard for tactical equipment. What sets this store apart however is the amazing customer service. I went with my girlfriend at around 2 hours till close just wanting to browse pants for the gun range. When we came in we were greeted with the typical Can I help you find anything?. I defaultly declined as I always do whenever asked that in a store when Im just browsing. When I got to the pants I started looking around for a bit and was surprised to see so many options. I think the associate noticed my perplexity and came up to help, recommending different styles at fits and finding different sizes. Long story short, he spent about an hour introducing me to gear and never pressuring me into making a purchase I didnt want, all while keeping it fun and entertaining for my girlfriend and I. I ended up walking out with pants I was happy with, and a jacket that I absolutely love. Im excited to come back again and its all because of a fantastic and experienced worker named Joseph.

Incredible store if you like tactical gear! There is nothing like being able to handle the product and try before you buy. Employees were helpful and enthusiastic.

Whatever you do, dont order something. Over 6 weeks not everything has arrived, but 2 weeks ago they called and said its here and shipping out. Turns out they didnt get it all and havent shipped anything. They do have a decent selection in store.

I get a good amount of my clothing from 5.11, especially pants, and their products have always left me satisfied. The store has good customer service and a good selection of their online products.

They never have my size. I told them what I was looking for and they werent really trying to help me out, they were to busy talking to each other. I love 5.11, but this store specifically.. kinda sucks.
