They had a third party inventory group there and a woman from that third party was cussing up a storm. Informed the staff as I have a child with me and it was handled. I always love going to this location. Friendly staff, good selection, and I always walk out with something.

Sadly, this is one of the better stores I’ve seen in Texas. The selection of men’s dress shirts, the only reason I continue to go there, is rather poor. I can’t say much more about selection, obviously, but I should add that there was a single checkout open in the store with a queue a mile long (I found a a manager and got them to open a second register).

Enjoyed my two visits at the store. Wish they wouldnt have closed all the ones a little closer to me but all good. My step mom and dad had ordered us a lot of things online for Christmas and had them shipped. So we had a lot of stuff that could not be found in store size wise. They allowed us to get a store credit/gift card and use it to find things in store they could fit. Found some good deals. And everyone was helpful and kind. It made the process go much smoother. I had no idea JC Penney had such great deals! Got nice things for the whole family!

I used to love this store several years ago, but then as I found fewer clothes that I liked,I stopped going so often. Today I wanted to try on several pairs of jeans but ALL THE FITTING ROOMS WERE CLOSED except one (Why?!) and there was a waiting line six women long to get into it! I put the jeans on a shelf and left. I will not volunteer for a frustrating experience like that again. I would order online if the return process wasnt reliably equally frustrating with the long wait times. James Cash Penney started a great store, but his successors have forgotten how important customer experience is.

I went to return pants. I had the tags and slip and purchased that 15 days ago. The lady named Sujata did not take it back, because she said it’s 90 dollars. Then she said she speaks my language and she knows we are cheap.I used to shop there and had a great experience. However, just because of my skin color she stated that we just used it and returning back, because we are not capable of buying 90 dollar pant!!They should replace the lady.

It is good for discounts, but for women I recommend Marshall Mckinney they have more womens clothing.

I used to love JCP. They have gone downhill fast. I think their focus is Online Shopping. So disappointed.

Visited the store today. Great value for money with up to 60% off is ongoing on certain items. Felt bad to see such a great chain store fading away to fast in the US.

I went to JCPenney Salon (located at the mall in Frisco) I moved to Dallas in August, and havent been to my hair lady since shes in a different state. I had no idea where to go & made the mistake of thinking I could color my hair, myself! Wrong! I made an appt with this salon for last Sat.(9/18), my appt. was with Charmelle (Im sorry if I misspelled). She is wonderful! I LOVE my color! She was so nice and friendly, in fact, everyone at the salon was friendly. I will definitely go back. I recommend this salon and I HIGHLY recommend Charmelle! She really did a fantastic job on my hair. For reference: I had done a bad blonde color, Charmelle fixed it. I got a double process with blonde highlights & brown lowlights + trimmed and shaped. I give 5 stars to Charmelle.

Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time in here. The employees are completely worthless and full of attitude.

They had a pretty good selection of items, the store was busy but not overly crowded, but they only have one register opened downstairs so there was a pretty good sized line. It moved pretty quickly, but you still have to walk to the side it is on and then wait.

Multiple fitting rooms are closed so I had to stand in line for 15 minutes just to try on some shorts. I also stood in line for another 15 minutes in order to cash out. I love Pennys! Open up the fitting rooms please!

I came in last night because they forgot to take off the security tag off my curbside pickup from the other day. The associate helping me was acting like I had stolen them. She was punching in all kinds of things into the computer and looking at the tag. I said I am not returning them I just need the tag removed. Took 5 minutes until she made sure I was in the clear to be able to take my pants back home, which I had the receipt for.....ridiculous.

JC Penny is always my one of the favourite store. I have been member with JC Penny since 2-3 years. But on my recent order, few items were missing in the package. I placed my order online, and went to pick up at Stonebriar Centre. After coming home, when I opened the package 2 items were missing in it.

The sales person was very good in taking care of our transaction very friendly anticipated our questions and needs

I understand things are crazy right now, but at least change your hours on google, if it says you open at 10 and I get to the door for you to rudely tell me you open at 11...then change your hours.

Helpful, courteous staff, neat and organized

As a man that serves add the purse holder for my wife when shopping here I noticed there is no place to sit down. Other JCPenney locations have strategically placed chairs. My next gripe is that I didnt have any rewards discounts available at the store. When I got home there was a rewards discount coupon in my mailbox! Ok, I got one more gripe. The rest of the mall I was warm and had to take off my jacket inside the store it was really cold. Did someone forget to pay the heat bill?Overall great experience, I managed to get my wife out of there for under $900! I call that a win any day!

Took mom to get her glasses done since Collin Creek location closed. Shes been getting her glasses done there for years. So out to Stonebriar we go. Brenda was so personable, kind, & attentive, her experience has convinced me to switch from a big optical chain to JCP OPTICAL. Its a bit far, but worth it. The selection & prices make up for the distance & gas.

Big department store for discount shopping

I went to Jcpenney my mum wanted to exchange her shoes that she ordered online and they gave her the wrong shoe sizes and then she had to exchange to get the right one yasmin, and two managers came to do the transaction it took them 30 min and was hard on my mum. Horrible customer service! Horrible they need to go to classes to learn how to do customer service!!!But I return a ring and Carla was excellent she was incredible and her customer service was above and beyond

My visit to J.C. Pennys was a good experience. though I did not find what I was looking for. as usual Pennys has a wide variety of clothing, home needs and personal things, i.e. cologne & perfume. for somewhat decent prices. I did end up purchasing a Columbia Mens Steen Mountain Fleece sweater last week since it was on sale. ( Very happy about that) not the color I was hoping for. Black, but purchased a Blue one instead. either way I am happy with the outcome. and still bought it at a fair price. 40.00s instead of the normal $60.00s. So Thanks again Pennys. I hope to go back again soon.

Visited the salon and felt very safe. Every stylist was sanitizing all chairs, desks, door knobs, anywhere a customer could have touched.

They had a sale on jewelry, I stopped in to get a chain for a pendant, the selection was pitiful and the guy trying to help me was lost.

It was great. We ordered a crock pot online, but after seeing it displayed we realized it was going to be too small. We decided on another model. We were able to pick up our online purchase, and exchange it at the same time. Thanks Philip for great customer service.

Suresh helped me try on multiple rings, got my correct size, and truly made my experience so so easy. I visited every other jewelry store in the mall before making a decision and I went with JCPenney because of such great service and prices. 5 stars!!! ❤️

Bad deal! Buyer beware. Purchased a jewelry item online. They sent the wrong size. I took it in store to see if it could be exchanged for the size I ordered. Was told no, there’s none available in that size. I asked how is that possible when online I can still order the correct size? She didn’t have an answer for me. Said I could try another online order, but would probably get the same result- an incorrect ring size sent again.... I was like wow....ok, let’s return it. She processed that fairly quickly. However, the money is not in my account. It takes “during the holiday season 5-10 business days to return your money” per a customer service rep. ... So you mean to say, that’s you get to hold over $900dollars for over a week, where I get nothing. Now I have to watch like a hawk to make sure you return my money, because I returned a product to you and you have it in your possession. Then if I don’t see the refund, I get to call your customer service rep, and my bank in order to try and get things figured out. Terrible policies! This day in age JCPENNEY should be able to refund quicker then a week. The fact that it doesn’t even show as a pending transaction is what worries me.

They never answer the phone and they don’t have a good section with plus sizes in the pajamas. And the checkout took FOREVER

Intentional efforts have been made in this store to reduce available fitting rooms and checkouts. This increases the traffic in these areas and packs shoppers closer together, thus reducing the effectiveness of social distancing measures and making it intensely unpleasant to shop here. Very disappointing

Always find what I looked for

Too many hassles trying to shop. Restrooms closed, real long lines at the checkout only one open on ground floor and one open on second floor. Wont be back to that JCPenneys

We went for an event and even if it was only an hour, the employees treated us so nicely and with respect. Would definitely come again if i lived closer.

Love pennys always the best sales

Growing up around here, ive watched this store grow and attract penny pinching customers that hassle the employees for every coupon and savings possible. My past visit here was atrocious. Im giving two stars because I did leave with what I needed, for the price I expected.But the journey to do that was aggravating and tiresome. I waited in one line, with one associate and one customer. I had passed them before, thinking they were almost done, and there was no one else in line.I waited a solid 10 minutes, no one reassured me that they were going to assist me soon or acknowledge my presence.The next line i found, I spent 20 minutes and there was movement so it was more hopeful. All the customers ahead of me were the same penny pinching, cheap customers and each of them spent way too long in the line and the employees were quick and persistent to shut them down.However, Im a retail worker and I was trying to also get a price match to JcPenneys website, which is a no brainer to do, and it took the cashier FOUR OTHER different associates to get their opinion, but none of them helped until the last one which was clearly a shift manager of sorts. I couldnt help but feel like this was because of the customers that come in all the time. It just sucks that I know what im talking about and im perfectly aware of associate permissions when it comes to discounts, but I was made out to be another hassler penny pincher. Fix the management, fix the way you handle these people. Its difficult, I know, especially when youre consistently haggling with the same people, but not every customer is coming in with the same intentions and dont deserve to get the same treatment.

I found what I was looking for great service will come again

Went to pickup my order and they couldnt find all my packages, took them 30 minutes to figure out what had happened, finally said that one of the items was not shipped and I would have to come back to pick it up. I asked that it be shipped to my house, because they messed up, but the person at the register wouldnt agree, so now I have to make another trip, for no mistake of mine.
