Potatoes were served cold, eggs Benedict was eaten but cold and my toast was definitely cold . My omelette was good but, served on a small plate, requested a larger plate, regular coffee was Blah! Tables are too close considering we are still dealing with Covid . I don’t think I will be back. This was my first time here . Music was good !
I really want to give this place high marks, but I just can’t. The service is top notch, the room is clean, but we’re here to talk about the food and drink. The coffee was good and strong just the way I like it. I ordered the French toast and it looked great I’ve included a picture, but it was soggy. They put a big scoop of blue berries in the middle of the French toast and it’s dripping with some sauce. So I had a plate of soggy bread, not my favorite to say the least.
Our favorite Breakfast and hang out place now. The food is amazing, we already have our favorite there Acai Bowl. Today was our second time and service was also amazing. Plan ahead because it fills up quickly. That tells me the wait is all worth it, in this case it is 😊👌. One more thing, the price is super reasonable 🙌. So: great service, great food, great environment, and best of all great price😊
Cute interior design and decor. Yummy breakfast foods and coffee/tea drinks. The London Fog was delicious. Hard to pick from all the waffles but settled on the Nutella Waffle and was not disappointed. Their bacon was quite good too, and I tend to be picky about bacon. Michael, our server, was very friendly and amazing customer service from him the whole time we were there. Definitely on my list of places to go back to.
I’ve explored different types of brunch cafes in Dallas, Austin, and Houston, Nest is the best place I can definitely say. The ricotta is very smooth and rich (I had to ask where they get this from), the coffee is gorgeous, I’m assuming, based on the taste, it feels like the yirgacheffe flavor. Whenever I have a business trip to the Dallas area, Nest is the my favorite hangout place for sure. Hope they open their branch in The Woodlands.
Very nice little Cafe in a building with lots of other businesses. Centrally located. Healthy meal options. A little pricey. Great service. Closes at 3 pm, so only good for breakfast and lunch. Great food though. Parking a little bit difficult due to the number of of businesses at the location. Its a small place, so there was a long wait for a table for lunch. Restrooms available.
Went for a nice brunch. The London fog was perfect! We got them with sweetened almond milk, and they were perfectly smooth and just barely sweet. I got the croque madame: The egg yolk was just barely runny in the thick sauce, and both complemented the sourness of the gruyere perfectly. The bread soaked up the flavors and the ham had a nice, gentle flavor. You didnt much taste the arugula, which was okay by me. I want to add something to it but Im not sure what, because the flavors are so beautifully balanced. My spouse got the star pancakes. The fruit was fresh and crisp, and the pancakes were not overly sweet even with syrup. The bacon was perfectly cooked - just barely crisp.Service was prompt and professional. I felt they really knew what they were doing and that the food was a great value for the price. The restaurant was clean and people wore masks when they were not at their table and eating.
Best Gluten Free Bread Ever!!!! We had a quick overnight stay in Frisco and found this little gem just a hop and a skip from our hotel. We had a short 15 minute wait for a table, cute little trendy atmosphere and the food was delicious. My hubby and son have celiac and both were thrilled to find gluten free bread as a toast option. They were so shocked at how non-gluten free tasting it was that we ending up walking out with 2 full loaves of it. Amazing!! We will definitely be back, especially for more GF bread. Quick tip... If you want to tip your waiter and not necessarily the entire staff, bring cash. Otherwise if you tip at the counter when ordering, the entire staff shares it instead of going directly to your waiter.
Ordered French toast. On the menu it had all these toppings on it that I didnt want so I ordered plain and so did my wife. Nothing else comes with it which is not unusual. Food took a little longer than I figured 2 orders of just plain ol French toast would. When it came out it was half burnt on one side and pretty bland... guess thats what all the toppings are for. Coffee was OK.. wife liked the tea. I dont plan on going back mainly because of pricing. Total ticket was just over $30 for 2 orders of plain French toast a Coffee and iced tea. Not worth it.
Came for breakfast about 45min after they opened, and glad I got there early cause lines got busy around brunch time. I ordered the El Nido & Chai Latte. I like my bread a bit more toasted with butter, but that wasnt how it was made. The salsa has a nice little kick from jalapeños, and the avocado was fresh and well sized. The chai latte was good, on the sweeter side. Cute, clean, popular place with good food.
The food was delicious and would recommend getting brunch. This place is a little different from other sit down restaurants because you would order first before you get seated. I love that they care about food plating and making it very presentable. I would also recommend getting their matcha latte.
Just an overall great feel to the place. The coffee was so good! Loved that going low carb was easy. Pictured here is the Cowboy Benedict with tomato, avocado, bacon, homemade hollandaise sauce and arugula instead of the English muffin or hash browns. The other plate shows some very scrumptious pancakes!
Amazing service and AMAZING food!Just finished a hike nearby and wanted to get breakfast and stumbled upon this place. Super impressed with the portion size (I was full after just one Benedict)I got the California Benedict + Smoked Salmon - DELICIOUS! The egg was poached perfectly and the salmon was super fresh and not overpowering! I normally can’t eat raw fish but this was super easy to eat!
This little nook doesnt get enough attention for how AMAZING this place is! Small 10-12 table top shop that at times can be a bit crowded since there arent many tables. They do have multiple tables for 2 or 4 and even has a few tables for larger grps of about 6-8. But everytime we go here we LOVE IT! Employees are SO nice and always checking to see if you need anything! And the food tastes AWESOME and fresh! Even their teas and coffee are delicious!
Hands down the best breakfast/brunch restaurant in North Dallas. Their pancakes are absolutely amazing! The owner is really cool and they stay packed.
Really nice people working here and very accommodating. 4 stars because I didnt like my food very much. I had asked for fried eggs on my breakfast sandwich and got scrambled instead so it was rather dry. But all things considered I will try again because its such a cute and popular little place
One of the best brunch restaurants that I have ever been.
Really delicious food, good selection and service. I enjoyed the garden omelette, and my wife did a caprese sandwich, both were exceptional. Well be back soon, the barrista menu looks great!
Great place! Delicious food, friendly people. My daughter and I stopped in for a quick brunch. Shes a little, so we shared the Nest Breakfast. Our order was out quickly and tasted fresh. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for the yummy meal!I really loved watching the cold brew brew. Its like an art piece the way they have it set up!
Discovered this place today with my daughter. Great food and latte and the service was genuine and friendly. Will definitely be going back.
I visited here with my 11 year old son. I was in town for a couple days of fun activities. With the great reviews, I admit the bar was pretty high upon us entering. The coffee was great and my son’s meal (Nutella pancakes) left him smiling. Unfortunately, my meal (one of the eggs benedicts) was less than impressive. The presentation was excellent, but it was served lukewarm. The bacon and potatoes were great, but the rest of the dish was meh. The avocado was too much and I would have preferred the spinach cooked. I’m hoping this was just a one-time less than impressive experience.
Our friends introduced us to this place when we came to visit Frisco and I am a fan. Ive come here for their coffee, matcha lattes, london fog lattes, and some of their breakfast options. Their service is great although you might have to wait a while when its busy. It gets that way in the mornings especially Fri-Sun with everyone coming in for breakfast/brunch.Ive had the garden omelette and pink lady sandwich, which werent my favorites (turns out I dont like French Toast sandwiches), but the Salmon and Mushroom Toasts are definitely my go-to items. Its somewhat pricey but honestly it is filling and totally worth it. They do not skimp on the ingredients and the quality is solid.
Favorite go to place for lunch. Plenty of seating. Courteous staff. Food was well prepared and pleasantly plated. No reasons to not got back. Still a go to place.
Service was really good. Food was ok. Had the French toast with Nutella banana and surprisingly vanilla ice cream. Didnt expect that at all. Would be great as a dessert but probably not breakfast. Tasted good though.
I wish I could say that my experience was a good one but it wasnt. I took my sister there for brunch for her birthday first off the floors were dirty food an utensils on the floor. Then the omelets that I ordered was over cooked it was more like a omelet made from a bag the pancakes were so tuff, just sent them back. My sister ordered a Philly steak meat was doped in the middle so I cant say that our experience was not a good one.
One of the best cafes in Frisco TX - clean modern joint with friendly staff, good coffee and fantastic breakfast and brunch style eats. Service was prompt and prices were reasonably. The Pink Lady sandwich is a different combination of favorites and was sensational. Highly recommend giving local places like this a try instead of the generic bland chain options. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return.
Best breakfast/brunch place with great vegan- vegetarian choices. It is apt to call the chefs here an artists, great plating, and delicious quality food !
Such a well run place. Great selection of breakfast items and delicious coffee.
Staff here is very friendly. The single serve coffee was excellent. The food took a long time to come out and wasnt anything special. Based on the food alone, I probably wouldnt return
They have excellent service every time we go. The coffee is spectacular and the brunch is amazing. Im excited to try more from the menu. The patio is nice and theyll bring everything to you. This is our new favorite breakfast spot😊
Good food and lattes, cozy atmosphere with plenty of parking. Happen to be in the area and came across this place while looking for my caffeine fix and food as well. Ordered a nest breakfast which was eggs, bacon and a pancake and a breve latte. Must say I was quite pleased and the eggs were pretty fresh. Overall would recommend
Very nice! Friendly staffs, nice interior and great food. I like their well organized seating system, too. We order at the counter first and they assign the seat.
This is a hidden gem for sure. We enjoyed this ambient and the food as well.
Well run place. Solid options on the menu. Seems like more farm to table options. I ordered an avocado toast .. my poached egg was over cooked hence a 3 star. I would give this place another chance if again in the Plano/frisco area ..
The hidden gem of Frisco.Ive been coming to Frisco over a year now and did not find this place until a month ago. This is a great place to get stuff done. They created a place for those that want to sit and get work done. Also, offer great coffee and tea options. Not only that but food that makes you want to stay for breakfast, brunch and lunch. LolI ordered the avocado toast. Great taste and presentation. Also this place had great lighting to take Instagram pictures.
Nest cafe is a great hangout place with friends and family. It serve amazing breakfast and lunch. Their food is of the highest quality. The staff is extremely friendly. The cappuccino is very good and a must have dish is egg benedict which is served only on weekends. The sad part is they are open only till 3pm everyday. I wish they were open until late evening. I hope with time they will..
Food was a delicious, but service was lacking from the moment we walked in. We walked up to the counter and were awkwardly stared at, until we just started placing our order. No greeting, no welcome in, what can I get yall or have you been in before heres how it works. We all asked for water and the young lady did not inform us of how or when we would get the drinks. We noticed others walking up to a self-serve water station so decided we would get it ourselves in the end. We were visiting from out of town, so will most likely never make it back here, but I would have probably eaten here again if I lived nearby ( now that I know how the restaurant works).
Food is great and good selection of dishes. It gets busy so be prepared to wait. Service is good and staff is friendly.
Food was decent according to my family. I can’t vouch for it because I never got my food. I left not eating because they forgot my food. Everyone was done eating and when I asked where was my food, they asked me to wait. I waited another 10 mins then I asked for the food to be cancelled as everyone was done eating. They were non-apologetic. It was a sad brunch. Ambience was decent.
Breakfast was a lot better than your usual chain diner restaurants. The prices werent bad considering the quality of food. Parking can be kind of difficult up front. The coffee was good too.
Waited almost an hour for our food. My bacon was way too hard, and didn’t taste great. Eggs were decent. My pancake was rubbery and too thick, and the fruit was gross and looked old. My mom got a different order than what she asked for. The staff here are nice, but the long wait, and the very mediocre food, isn’t worth it in my opinion. I was excited to eat here but I will not be coming back.
The French toast was bomb and I absolutely love the lemon cold brew!
Welcoming cafe with good food and drink options. Fairly loud for working.
Definitely the best coffee in the Frisco area and one of my favorites in DFW. Very cozy interior and lots of variety of mostly espresso based beverages. Their cold brew is also pretty top notch though they usually dont have any at the start of the week when they start brewing it. They also have some unqiue food selections which are also pretty good. The only downside is the building is a bit small and if you come during busy times you can be expected to wait a while and also for it to be very noisy. My advice is to come early around opening so it is peaceful. All in all highly recommend to try their coffee!
Had the salmon toast, it was tasty and great!!! Small place, mellow atmosphere! I would go again!
Great cortado and breakfast options. Attentive staff, too!
Staff was so friendly and kind even though I came in a little later in the day, plus absolutely amazing breakfast potatoes :)
Dear goodness, if I lived in Dallas I would be here all the time. Good coffee and great food! Awesome price for the amount of food too (I swear my omelet was 3 inches thick) that tasted awesome!
I have been in this coffee shop several times since they opened. It is always the same pleasure to visit them. Owner is very attentive and all the workers are always friendly and nice. Drinking coffee is my hobby and I try many different places. The Nest Cafe is delivering constant delicious taste. I love the cortado and flat white. Also Italian chicken panini is great. I strongly suggest you to go and check them out.
Excellent coffee and breakfast. Went 3 days in a row while visiting. Best coffee we had in Dallas area.
