They were really nice by customizing my order. My son dislike tomatoes and thus the tomato cupcakes. I think they look great and the kids loved them. They also have home made ice cream, very creamy.

Bought an 8 inch cookie butter based cake. One word. Heavenly. Best cake I’ve ever had, and it wasn’t even chocolate which is my absolute favorite. I ordered first time for my daughters half birthday cake and i wanted the cake to be vegan, I called them and ask about the flavors-Maria said we have only Vanilla and chocolate but i insisted her can she do pineapple, she said she will test it and let me know. I really liked Smallcakes Cupcakery. As I drove by, I thought it was actual cakes, however its truly a cupcake store, and I pretty good one at that. I have tried the big name Cupcake place, and for me, they use too much icying. Smallcakes had just the right amount. If you have small children, I think you will get two thumbs up if you take them here.

$4 for a cupcake that cant stand up to weight of its own frosting is just sad. Flavor was very mild and was more fake like eating candy rather than what it was labeled as. Dont waste your money.

Listen, I called smallcakes 20 hours before I needed a cake for my fiances surprise party that was planned spur of the moment. Corrina had me feeling great after calling multiple cake spots and them turning me away for a next day cake by telling me they could have it ready tomorrow! After talking to her and hearing her excitement for what she was doing I knew the cake was in good hands. I told her I needed a pink Halloween themed cake and she took off from there. sent me hand drawn sketches beforehand for approval and it was done. Thank you smallcakes and thank you corrina. The cupcakes here are AMAZING! It was our first time visiting and we purchased the strawberry and peppermint chocolate cupcakes. We arrived later in the day so most of the cupcakes were sold out. The icing was soft and the cake was very soft and flavorful. Honestly I would have given this establishment 5 stars except for the fact that the customer service was poor. There were 2 ladies, one which was nice and let us know that most cupcakes were sold out. However, there was a dark hair lady with slightly curly hair that was rude. My husband and I had a few questions since it was our first time and she rolled her eyes the entire time, was snippy in her tone and responses, and didn’t answer our questions properly. She snapped when I asked which cupcakes were left because once again it was our first time and we were unsure. She yelled, “It’s on the card!” If I had been here before or she would had explained that I would had known. My only feedback is the frosting toppings was a bit thick but Id rather have too much than too little. We will return and possibly try a cake as well. We were impressed!

Maria is awesome! Instead of a traditional wedding cakes, I wanted a serve yourself alternative for my wedding and Maria was a miracle worker. I had several consultations with her and she helped me decide on cookie cups. I showed her a pic of my vision and she spent time with me to choose specific flavors, colors, layouts, quantity and essentially craft it to perfection. It was a hit at the wedding. Of course we all know that the cakes at Smallcakes Frisco are a slice of heaven but their attention is detail is unmatched. They were quick to respond to my emails and worked with me at every turn. Thanks Maria for making an idea a real life fantasy.

I ordered a cake that they told me fed 10 people. It is tiny. It was supposed to be 40 they charged me 60. They refunded me the 20 dollar difference but the cake is a nightmare. It was supposed to be cream cheese icing. It isn’t. It’s buttercream. It melted in the way home and slid into the sides of the box because the box they put it in was way to big for the cake. It’s my husbands 40th bday and now I have a broken melted disaster of a cake.

So, I really loved Smallcakes in Frisco. Until today. I waited 10 minutes as their cupcake froster was in the restroom. She came right out and started frosting cupcakes. With no gloves. Of course, I confronted them and their response was, she washed her hands and that gloves arent needed to frost the cupcakes.I will not be back.

This place is delicious! I’ve been trying different bakeries to compare who has the best cupcakes for my granddaughter’s birthday cupcakes. This place really impressed me! The cupcakes are delicious, moist and the icing is not overly sweet. They taste homemade but much better than anything you could do yourself. I normally prefer homemade cakes to store bought but these cupcakes are spot on. I can’t think of one negative thing to say. Job well done! Cupcakes have never been a favorite of mine... until trying Small Cakes cupcakes! These are hands down the best of anything you will ever eat in life! Just eating the cupcakes makes me happy because they are so good! I Ive had the regular size and the minis. The regular is huge, and the minis are not small! They have such a wide variety of choices. Weve had the cookies n cream, red velvet, raspberry filled, and chocolate. So instead of birthday cakes this year, we are getting cupcakes from Small Cakes!

Today was my 2nd time at this location. Ive been to 5 different stores and they are all different on quality. But Maria cares about her baked goods! I was there during the Xmas Holiday and was not disappointed then either. The cupcakes are moist & flavorful! 😁🧁 Maria came out to help me even when her workers were out helping other ppl. We love this place! I have been going here off and on after it opened its doors. We can truly say these are the best cupcakes around! It is so fresh, fluffy, perfectly sweet, and you will savor every bite. The frosting also is so different from normal frosting, and is creamy in texture. Try a cupcake with the fudge frosting - Amazing! Every single flavor is delicious. . .The staff is so friendly too. Even if I had not been in a few months, they never fail to remember me with a smile and warmth.

Its nice, clean. Has clean restrooms. Good icecream. Cute decorative cupcakes & cakes. Good displays. Kinda hard to find parking near by tho with flow of traffic blocking the minimal spots available on both sides.

I have had many a beautiful cupcake but they never measure up when it comes to flavor and texture. However, Smallcakes soars beyond my expectations in everyway. Beautifully decorated with impeccable flavor and texture; they are truly divine (Wedding Cake and Chocolate Decadence are my favorites so far!)From the pleasant atmosphere, to the friendly staff, to the absolutely delicious cupcakes, I would recommend them to anyone.

Ive been to Smallcakes several times. Its my go-to place for buying cupcakes for teacher birthdays and special occasions. The cupcakes are HUGE, flavorful, super moist without being overly dense, and the icing is amazing (the buttercream!). I recommend it any time a friend is looking for good cupcakes. Also, they have a program where I occasionally earn free cupcakes!

Exceptionally moist and flavor cupcakes, one of the very best I have ever eaten. With the exception of the wedding cake flavored buttercream, I wasnt impressed with their buttercream at all. It could certainly use more, or some at all, real butter. Just tasted like plain ol shortening and powdered sugar with possibly a hint of vanilla. I would absolutely return however for the wedding cake flavored cupcake! Super scrumptious

We spend money here all the time, but I was very disappointed with the service, that my wife received yesterday. She spent about $25 on the visit, dropped her shake when she walked outside (hands full and our 5 year old was with her), and they wouldnt replace it. They arent obligated to replace it, but its in bad taste, when she had spent so much on the visit, and we go there all the time. I guess they get enough business not to care, but we will not be returning.

I came about an hour before closing. A family from Houston were in front of me. The staff was not very personable with them, rushing, asking multiple times if is this it for your family or all these all the cupcakes you want just very firm.At my turn it was the same thing. Its like the girls didnt wanna be bothered with customers. I asked to taste an ice cream flavor and it was like a hassle for her to give out a sample. (I bought 3 cupcakes) good flavor and moist in the cupcakes. Whoopie pie was a little hard to bite into.

I went to this location early last week to get a German chocolate cake for my fiancé for her 40th. The two girls I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. I didnt place the order that day however.I went back a few days later to place the order and there were two different girls working. They didnt really seem interested in helping very much. I placed the order anyway. They wrote down word for word what I wanted on the cake.I went back a third time to change the order slightly as I obtained a picture I wanted to put on the cake. They said they could do it no problem. My order now consisted of two cakes, both of which were $35.00 each. One German chocolate cake and one regular chocolate cake with an edible picture and specific instructions of what to write on it.The day of the party, I picked up the cake only to find that what I wanted written on the cake was not written. Yes, it said happy birthday, but that is not what I told them. They had written down exactly what I wanted in their book, but didnt put it on the cake. There was nothing I could do at that point as I was out of time and needed to get back with the cake. So, I sucked it up and left.When I presented the cakes to everyone, the german chocolate one barely got touched. It was loaded with the German chocolate icing. Way way too much on there. It was a huge waste of my money.Outside of the two girls I initially dealt with, I would not recommend this place.
