My wife found this promotion that Build A Bear does called Pay your age. We brought our one year old son to get a bear. We paid one dollar (and also donated to their charity). This was a great deal.The staff was AMAZING and was very friendly.We will be back.

Stopped by for a quick visit. Workers were pleasant and involved with the customers. Eesha was sweet and friendly. I’m not one to leave reviews often but my six year old insists on leaving one about her first time at build a bear and Melody, the cat she made there.I love build a bear so much I love melody soooooooooooooo much build a bear is my favorite place thank you so much for melody she is so so cute she is so sweet 🥰🥰😁😘😇😜😆😆

We took our 8 week old son in to buy a bear and the employees were fantastic. I didnt catch the name of the first employee that helped us but she was very nice and showed us a milestone shirt for the bear that we ended up buying as well and spoke to us about the rewards program.I believe Shira was the name of the employee that stuffed the bear for us. She was very sweet and provided great customer service.

We took our kiddo here for her birthday because the reviews said they have a large selection and good staff. While the staff was nice, they seemed rather uninterested in their jobs and the selection was a joke. Multiple people walked in and left after deciding that the Harry Potter bear, the Baby Yoda, the Trolls Doll, and the Paw Patrol Dog were not sufficient choices. Would definitely have prefered a regular selection, not just the few characters they had.Crummy experience for $45 and a wasted 45 minutes.

Took my grandson for his 1st birthday. The place was great, but a bit understaffed. We got the $1 dollar birthday bear and then cute pajama set that matched one he has.

Large collection.. people who loves soft toys will love this place.. They can choose their favorite character to get a toy life.

If I could leave no stars, I would. My visit was disappointing in every sense. The selection of animals and clothes was a joke (there were maybe 5 animals to choose from, and LOTS of empty bins). The staff was lifeless, and seemed more interested in socializing with the teenagers who were running around the store than taking care of paying customers. The girl who stuffed our animal kept trying to sell sounds, smells, and other things even after I had said “no thanks” twice. The same with a cheap nylon backpack when we went to check out. No, we did not make a birth certificate and bo, we are not paying 75 cents for a box that used to be free. Even my daughter said “what a rip-off” as we left. We won’t be back. And we don’t want anyone to contact us.

The staff at the Build-A-Bear Workshop in Stonebriar Mall is absolutely the BEST!We are about to have a baby girl - and I wanted to get a gift for my 3 year old son (from his baby sister). He just loves Pikachu, and when I found out that Build-A-Bear sells a Pikachu, I was super excited. Because of the pandemic, my doctor has asked me to avoid crowded places (like malls) while I am pregnant.So I called Build-A-Bear to ask how I could purchase the Pikachu in a socially-distant manner. The store manager and all of the staff were so friendly & helpful in accommodating my request - I would honestly give this store a ten star review if I could.Once my baby girl is little older, and after the pandemic calms down, we will definitely be visiting this Build-A-Bear store again. Thank you so much to the manager and all of the staff who helped make my 3 year old son so happy! I really appreciate yall!

Associates made our childs experience so fun! Even though they are repeating themselves over and over again all day, they made it seem like this particular bear was going to be the most special bear coming out of there that day. Thank you!

I have had an acct with this org. For years. . still in my profile they have all wrong info. I update it EVERY TIME I visit the website. But never changes I never get my loyalty points for purchases. Always have to spend 45 min on phone to try to get it straight. They sayok.all good. Then next visit to website still wrong.But my granddaughter loves the animals. So I keep buying.

The selection at this location is terrible, and the service is even worse. I was thinking of having my daughter’s birthday party here, but changed my mind after hearing the staff talk negatively about other customers after they left. I don’t want to know what they might have said about me!

During Covid visit.... Large selection of unstuffed animals to choose from, including popular movie or show characters. Staff is always so nice and are great with the kiddos. The children dont get stuff it themselves anymore but thats understandable. Pretty expensive for a stuffed animal but its more for the experience. Fun to pick your animal, dress it up and name them.

Family trip to build a bear today was a huge success. The stonebriar location was organized and easy to navigate through the process. The store wasnt overly busy at the time we went but I can see how a handful of customers can make a line waiting for the stuffing process. ALLY was the associate that helped us and she was AMAZING. Although there was a short line starting while stuffing the bears I was impressed with her patience and ability to let each kid get the full experience of putting their hearts in and making a wish. ALLY YOU WERE AWESOME THANKS FOR MAKING MY KIDDOS DAY WITH YOUR HELP.

Wanted charmander but the display was the only one left. nice employees checked but Ill come back and see if theres another one I can get

The ladies working were super busy and probably need to hire some more people to work there, the lady running the stuffing machine was great but the lady running the register was opening bears and sewing bears which was holding up the line big time, she should probably just be ringing people up not threading needles and sewing

We love this place. Employees are always so eager to greet us, talk to us and make each experience enjoyable. The store is well stocked and kept very clean.

Staff was very helpful and frequently checked to make sure we were doing okay since we stopped in during a large birthday party.Also did a good job communicating with the kids.Had a good time!

I want to say zero stars but there is not that option.My 17 year old daughter took her little brother (7) as a reward for an accomplishment. She was manipulated into buying things she wasnt planning on, because the salespeople kept asking my son what he wanted instead of checking with her. Then by the time she realized what was happening, the bear was made and the extras couldnt be taken out. They talked her into buying a gift card she didnt want or need because they didnt explain what it was. There were two salespeople, one talking to my daughter (& distracting her), while the other prompted my son to add stuff. He wasnt the one paying for it. My daughter was trying to spend her own money but instead had to put it on my credit card because her total was $48 (the bear was originally $12, with no extras) and she didnt have that kind of money on her! We will never go to Build A Bear again.

Bad 1st experience taking my son. It’s a bunch of young teenager with no customer service etiquette and the manager Abby, is the same . Will not be going back to this location.

The staff are so nice and helpful. When my friend and I were short of 45 cents the payed for us. And gave us 4 free bows.

When you buy a stuffed animal here, youre not just buying it... Youre buying an experience! The staff is super friendly and seem really happy to be there, and who can blame them? And the bears come in a variety of shapes and price ranges, from under $10 to about $30. And, of course, you can buy lots of accessories for them to make them truly unique and customized. They carry anything from traditional bears and bunnies to Pokémon and Star Wars characters, and the selection is constantly changing. So make sure if you see one that you love that you dont wait too long to buy it! The specialty ones often sell out quickly!

Great experience, my 2 year old had so much fun picking up her bear and a song with it. Very helpful staff, they even let us stayed after they closed.

Very poor service. Went to the store with my daughter with some friends for her birthday party. Because the kids were doing a scavenger hunt the store clerk, John, would not even let them in the store. And, he was just rude about it. Unlike Disney Store who’s sales team were gracious and helped the kids.What John doesn’t know is we’ve spent thousands of dollars at their store in the past but they just lost a lot of business. This is one reason the store is struggle to remain open, service stinks.

Fun place to take your kids. We have more than a few we have gotten over the years. I have even bought them for my husband as a Fathers Day gift when the kids were young. Put in the recorded voice button of their sweet little voices saying I love you.

My daughter loves build a bear. Its definitely an experience, not just a store. The staff is great with kids, too.

I had my 15th bday scavenger hunt at this mall and I love build a Bear, so one of our tasks was for my friends have to sing happy birthday to me. John the manager was so rude and didn’t even let us in the store and blocked us physically (we were even going to buy a bear). Do not support these rude people and go to grapevine instead. I am going to post this a few times to be noticed.

This is the place to be at. Okay? Make you a teddy or bunny or whatever you like. Dress them up for the price of real clothes and dont forget to add one of the scents in your stuffed pal. Its the little things.

The staff here are amazing. They treat the kids with so much kindness and all have bubbly and caring personalities. The wait has been a little longer due to the recent disaster with the “pay your age” marketing decision, but expect lines to die down soon enough.

Always a fun experience. I took my children and now I take my grandchildren. Great for get well and congratulation gifts.

I have been collecting build a bear for ages and so has my cousin today was her 15th birthday and we were going to sing happy birthday for her in build a bear and then each get a lion king build a bear but instead the manager John blocked us and didn’t even let us walk in he was not nice guys don’t waste your money here go to the grapevine build a bear instead or go to Disney store instead where we ended up getting our own lion king plushes there instead of build a bear and the workers at Disney were way nicer go to Disney store or grapevine build a bear instead they have nicer workers

Weve been Build-A-Bear fans for 15 years. Our daughter loves this place.

Everyone is always very nice and helpful. I never have an issue shopping at this Build A Bear.

We had a great time! Exhausting! My grand baby and her new build a bear fell asleep while waiting on cheesecake at Cheese cake factory! Lol!

Even if you dont have kids, bring a spouse or date here to enjoy creating your own bear. Its a fun way to pass the time and the end result will be a bear thats unique. Its a little expensive for what it is but definitely worth doing at least once.

My Granddaughter loves it and has fun in theses are placed hearts that beat you can add scents their clothes shoes are all there than your child gets a Birth certificate as well their filled with cotton in store and sewed up if you have kids theyll love it so very many to choose from

It was so much fun I loved the faces of my nieces at first I thought it was lame but it was so cute you will spend about $50 for the bear and a outfit we went to go buy new born clothes for the bears and the worked out just fine it is about $12 for 1 outfit and $8 for a pair of shoes it was a bit expensive but it was worth it the staff was very helpful to I would go there again

My son has a bear that is 10 yrs old he is not a build a bear but we have come here before and they have stuffed him up and we have bought many accessories from this store . I brought my son to stuff the bear up again and they said they cannot linger stuff up the bear cause he is not a build a bear although we where going to spend money on accessories and pay to stuff him . My son left the store crying and saying he doesn’t want his teddy to die . Way to go build a bear ....
