Anthony was great, the installation team was amazing and very courteous. Loving my home theater system so far. There were some technical concerns after installation and the team came back right away to make adjustments which was very appreciated.

The installers did a great job. Kevin was helpful as a salesperson and didnt try to oversell much (and what he did recommend upgrading was well worth it). The price of the package and most other equipment I got was good also (pretty much at or close to what it would have cost me without installation). The installers were great. Everything looks great and has worked well. They explained the system well, came and got me when they needed input on where to put the screen or chairs and really did a solid professional job. I would definitely recommend Stereo East to people. The price of the package I got was a fair amount lower than what our builders media company had their fitted out media rooms priced at, so I am glad we held off and got it done with you instead of them. Also, looking up reviews you seemed to have overall solid reviews so it seems like you consistently do a good job.

From beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. The techs were wonderful. They were at my house for 4 days installing. At the end of each day everything was cleaned up and put away. This was the best experience I have ever had with someone doing work at my home. Installers were top notch, knew what they were doing and very polite.

He took his time to get to know my house, the builder, who did the pre-wiring, and with his experience he knew exactly what his crew could expect and made sure that they were setup to succeed on an install without complications they werent prepared for. He took his time with me, answering all my questions. I appreciate the time he took to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Ray Tranka led the install and both he and his partner did a phenomenal job. They took very careful care handling and installing all the equipment, cleaning up after themselves, and testing everything to ensure everything was working as expected. They even unpacked my new video game systems and set them all up in the AV closet, tying down all the wiring for everything. It was the cleanest install Ive seen and I used to install data centers for IBM! Great job guys!

Danny has been terrific! Rays team did the latest installation and were the best team that weve ever seen. From the general manager to the people who take care of backroom business, everyone cared about customer satisfaction and went out of their way to help us.

We are very satisfied with all of the work that was done on our new home. The system works perfectly. We also appreciated the help in choosing the right equipment and the people who installed the systems did excellent work. We are somewhat technically challenged and the training and response back when we had questions were handle in a professional and timely manner.

I went in on very busy days compounded with a sale. They were extremely helpful when I finally got them to myself and helped me set up everything just like I wanted. Attention to details are not there. Very bad experience. The guy who came to install doesn’t even smile and anything you ask like Programming nest, roku. He says no. But in the store they give all rosy picture that they will do it. They talk as end to end system but there are a lot of hidden things which they don’t tell you. I should have gone with someone who will educate as well. This company is only for very high techie people who knows what questions to ask. Not for people like me who expect stereo east to educate and guide. I’m not confident in what systems they installed. I don’t trust these people anymore.

Purchased an EPSON projector and completed the install myself. 2 weeks later, I got the auto iris error and called to see if I can exchange the product. No exchanges and no support since I did not purchase their install service. Sad to say, Ive received better service from amazon or other big box retail shops. unfortunately I wont be supporting this local shop.

They are the choice of my builder. had to have them do the absolute minimum since the prices are so outrageous. completely dismissive of any solutions i wanted to make happen outside of the setups they have in their demo room, during or after my new build. in my neighborhood, many new homes with this builder, this is the sentiment no matter what they write in followup comments.

We were aware of Stereo East a few years back from our previous builder and at the time we were not prepared to spend the money. However, because of the outstanding service provided by Anthony and competitive pricing we came back when we moved into our new home recently.

I purchased a whole home entertainment system in September of last year. My system included 4 TVs; including a 100inch projection, multiple receivers, in wall speakers and more. The entire process was flawless. Kevin was my sales person and he really treated us right. Flash forward 9 months and we had a change of internet providers and had some connectivity issues. He was as professional and courteous as the day I bought my system. He scheduled someone to swing by that same day to fix the problem. I would highly recommend using them for any of your AV needs and ask for Kevin.

Visited Stereo East on Tuesday. Anthony M. said there was a big sale this coming weekend but since I was in the store now he would honor the sale price of a 65 Sony TV. Anthony assured me he had the TV in stock. I went back the next day to buy the TV but turns out he was wrong. They do not have the TV in stock after all nor would they be getting it any more since the model is being replaced with an updated model. But of course he would sell me last years model for the same price.Classic bait and switch.Very disappointed.

We have really enjoyed our new media room and are particularly blown away by the 3D. Even my wife admitted that she likes it.

I enjoyed my time here. Anthony and Nick were great to converse with about all of the technology and I didnt feel pressured, which is always great as a consumer.

WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. I went into the store approximately a month ago and was shown around the showroom by Darrell. Once he found out that I recently purchased a new home and was looking to furnish my home theater room from scratch, he recommended that he come out personally to perform a site survey. I agreed, and he came out a few days later the morning of 3/4. Its important that I mention that I took time out of my work day for this visit. Having had several site surveys performed by home theater companies over the past month or so, Darrells visit was pretty consistent with the competitors...to a point. That point being that it is clearly evident that Stereo Easts agenda is to push SONY SONY SONY. That is obviously where their bread is buttered. That aside, Darrell concluded his visit and agreed to contact me in a few days with the proposal. Two days later (3/6), I went into the store because of their Home Technology Expo sale they had been talking up. They had the Sony XBR-55X850A 4K TV on sale for $999, which I thought was a good deal...even for an outdated model. Unfortunately, someone was purchasing the last one just as I walked into the store. So, I asked if they would be willing to sell the floor display. A sales representative went to check and eventually came out and said that they would sell it for $799. However, since it was the floor model, they STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that they deliver it...for only $99. I politely declined the delivery as I live only a few minutes away and have plenty of cargo space in my vehicle. The sales rep stated that he didnt know if they would sell it if I didnt let them deliver it. I told them that if they were so insistent upon delivering it, they would have to do so at no charge to me. The sales representative left and then sent Darrell over, who promptly repeated everything the previous representative just said...as if it would have a different meaning coming from him. It didnt. I told him the exact same thing and said they would be losing a sale if they continued trying to force me to purchase an unnecessary delivery service. At this time, Darrell became downright rude and hostile, telling me how his manager wasnt going to do it, so on and so forth. I politely asked for him to discuss it with his manager, and Darrell refused, stating that he has learned what his manager will and wont do and that he knows better than to even approach him with that. Fine. I asked to speak to the manager myself, and Darrell very reluctantly went to supposedly get him. Several minutes later, Darrell came back and said that the manager will only sell it to me if I wait three days to pick up the TV (but pay immediately) to allow them time to package it in a way that theyre comfortable with. Ready to just be done with the situation, I agreed, paid, and left. Three days later, as agreed, I went into the store to pick up the TV. I saw Darrell there in a conference room working with another customer on a proposal, but mine still wasnt ready. Even one of his colleagues was making comments about the fact that my proposal wasnt done yet. Darrell promised to be in touch soon. Well, that was approximately three weeks ago and I have STILL not heard from Darrell or anyone over at Stereo East. Every other company has done a site survey and had a proposal to me within 3-5 business days at the most. Stereo East obviously does not want my business, and thats fine because they certainly wont be getting (any more of) it at this point. I am beyond furious that they wasted my time during a work day for absolutely nothing. There are lots of people building houses in my community and approximately 75% of them have home theaters. I will be sure to tell them about my experience with Stereo LEAST and advise them to choose ANYONE but them.

Great place to get your dream media room!

If you are looking for service after the sale, dont do business with Stereo East. I was really happy with the job they did installing my media room, but just recently, my receiver stopped passing through HDMI. Its under warranty, and I cant use the media room without the receiver so I was anxious how long the repair would take. They were non-committal, and said it would take a week minimum, more than likely more. Upon talking with them further, a lot of that time would be the receiver just sitting in their office. They said they wouldnt be sending it to the authorized repair center until they had a few more that they needed to send in. I got the address of the repair center and took the receiver to the repair center myself. It will be repaired in 4 business days. The week plus that Stereo East quoted me was simply due to them being too lazy to take the receiver to the authorized repair center (which is about 20 minutes away from the store). If you do business with Stereo East, you can expect a quality installation, but dont expect any customer service if you have any issues after the fact.

Everything was wonderful. We are enjoying our TV and Sonos sound bar.

I appreciated the excellent service for the initial install and for 2 other visits. I will be back at some point soon to talk to them about the bonus room install.

The team was great. If any person I know is looking to add any kind of home theatre equipment, I will definitely recommend Stereo East!
