Theater Advice just installed our Media Room system and we love it. Owner David Huse spent time with us to understand our care abouts (we are more video than audio centric) and helped us spec a great system. Installation was well done. And we love the final product.

The owner of Theater Advice and his team were/are great, but what really did it for me was the customer service I received from the owner. Any questions I had before, during and after continue to be addressed by him. My media room is 99% complete with just a couple of minor cosmetic issues and they are all being fixed. I priced out multiple bids from Starpower, etc. and decided to go with Theater Advice based not only on the value and price, but also because of the strong reputation all over the internet.I am so glad I did my research before pulling the trigger with a larger company. David and his team truly knocked it out of the park. I had a moderate budget and ended up with a sweet Klipsch Atmos setup and a 120 inch slate screen. He steered me in a great direction on an Epson projector that is putting out 4k performance without the insane price tag.David came to my house and personally installed my theater even though he could have stayed in the showroom and pushed the install a few days. You could tell that it was important to him that I got every bit of what I paid for, done correctly, and done on time.Thanks to Theater Advice, I now have an awesome theater that my family and I will enjoy for years. Great experience! Knowledgeable, personable and communicated very well. Discussed my audio/video options with several companies but David & Crew did a fantastic job explaining my options, made great recommendations and executed quickly. Decided on going full Control 4 and the installation was a breeze and they were very quick to answer follow up questions. Even came out several times to do some minor adjustments without hesitation. Extremely happy with the decision to go with these guys and would highly recommend them to anyone I discuss my experience with.

The sound and the video fidelity is perfect!My home had tricky installation issues, but David and his team overcame all the obstacles and worked tirelessly complete the installation, which provides a truly magnificent experience of both sight and sound in every room in and outside of our home.

I called David last Saturday to inquire about the packages they offered. He was very passionate & knowledgeable about his craft. He advised me on the best package to get for my budget without trying to over sell me. Turnaround time for installation was within 72 hrs and the whole process barely took 5hrs. The installers were prompt, professional, friendly & took the time to explain the entire system to me prior to leaving the site. I waited a few days before I wrote my review to see if any issues would pop up... But its been a week now & EVERYTHING still works. Thank you guys for bringing life to my media room! Amazing - I have had a problem with my built-in surround sound in my house almost since it was built. Tons of googling, tons of phone calls to support and technicians with all of them feeling except Jason at theater advice. He actually via text and picture suggested a solution, walked me through it and we finally have tunes playing through the house! Two years with no sound and after 10 minutes of phone conversation it was fixed. Thanks Jason, much appreciated

After searching online and stopping at various theater room companies we finally found a company that we were comfortable with. David and his installers were very knowledgeable and professional. David assisted by providing excellent recommendations in the construction of the actual room and its stadium seating design. We were completely satisfied with timing and the end results. We are so happy we found this place while in the Plano area! We walked in after reading reviews on Yelp and were immediately impressed with Davids knowledge. We discussed our wish list of a surround system, including our patio and a new receiver. David gave us a plan within our budget which included speakers in the wall and ceiling. And he did not hesitate that our home was in Rockwall. Our home was recently remodeled and I was hesitant about them cutting in the walls and ceiling. However, I was thrilled when I got home that afternoon and the 3 installers had done a great job. My husband was home during the process and I made it home just in time for the remote tutorial! The quality of product and installation surpassed our expectations! We realized one of the outdoor speakers was not operating and the installers returned and took care of it immediately.

My wife and I recently closed on a new home in McKinney, Texas. It was new construction and we sought a high-quality AV vendor/installer. Having read reviews of 3-4 vendors, we opted to use Theater Advice. We met with the owner, David Huse, and we felt extremely comfortable from day one. The prices he quoted for equipment and installation seemed very fair and, knowing that we were going into a new home, he worked his schedule so that we could be set up expeditiously. On the day of installation, there were no less than 4 gentlemen working in our home and they were extremely professional. They went out of their way to make certain that we were happy with the installation and tutored us on its operation. We feel lucky that we were able to find this group and would recommend them to anyone, anytime.

When I requested a last minute wall mount of a TV in an unplanned room, they took care of that too! And they even came back a couple of weeks later when my new media table finally arrived in the family room, and integrated my components into that table at no extra cost. As we were beginning the process of building our new home in The Colony I wanted to find a home theater company I could trust and work with. We were building our home remotely and I needed someone to attend the pre-drywall low voltage walk-thru for me since I could not fly in. I spoke with David and he was more than willing to attend that meeting and provide guidance to the wiring contractor so that I would have a good setup when the home was completed – and he did this without having any type of deal in place with me.I continued to correspond with David on ideas for the home and he always provided prompt feedback – and was always open and honest with me. If he disagreed with me he said so and he always told me why.I used David and his team to do all speaker installs (Family room surround in-wall, Media room in-wall and towers and several other ceiling speaker installs) and I purchased all of my new equipment through him including a projector, receiver, speakers and all control devices. His prices were always competitive and his labor costs were much more to my liking. They did a great job installing everything.His crew of two showed up on time and took their time installing everything. David even changed out my projector (at a lower cost to me) as he knew I would be happier with the less costly unit.David continues to respond, usually in minutes, to any question I have. I highly recommend David and his team for any project.

David was so knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell us anything outside of our budget. He was able to install our system about 10 days after our consultation, which was excellent timing as we had our media room in time for the Super Bowl! We had intended to interview other people, but we felt so confident with David we never did! In the months since installation, he has fixed minor glitches and upgraded our projector to 4K. This was such a surprise since I originally wanted a 4K projector, but I‎t was out of our budget. I would definitely recommend David to anyone regardless of your budget. I was even skeptical of spending the money on the media room but now we use I‎t regularly and love I‎t!

As the cliche goes in Home Theater advertising my projector gave out right before the big game. Worst timing!Jason & the guys at Theater advise came up huge for me! Theater Advice installed all AV for my new home media room. Before my house was closed I went to their office and very welcomed by the gentleman and got chance to look at some of their previous installations, screen sizes, etc. As owner David lives close to our new house he went himself to the construction site and got all the measurements and sent the quote and configuration.Prices seemed very fair. Due to my room setup was little different, David worked with me and suggested good options that I can go with and answered bunch of my questions.On the day of installation, his team was very professional, got on time and turned everything beautifully, David was checking with them and came in person to see how everything was going. One person was drilling a hole and accidentally drilled through next room, can be avoided with little care, but patched up later.My screen didn’t delivered on scheduled date, so they installed temporary one and swapped later instead of postponing, I was happy for that. Crew explained how the remote and other settings work.Overall it’s a great experience with Theater Advice and I definitely recommend to my friends and will use them if I need to upgrade in future.

I recently moved into a new home and was looking to install a home theater in a room that had previously been used as a guest bedroom. I contacted TA and spoke directly with the owner, David Huse. David came out to the house and took measurements and listened to what we were looking for. David recommended equipment, designed a custom cabinet and lighting, helped us with carpet choices, paint colors, drapery and even made furniture recommendations. The end result by far exceeded all of our expectations!!! Davids team also installed installed a Sonos sound system (which I would highly recommend!!) and installed several tvs for us as well. If you are looking for straight forward audio visual expertise, prompt professionalism and quality installation than I would highly recommend David Huse and the rest of his team at Theater Advice!!
