Called in to ask a question about my Pioneer double din I purchased 3 years ago at another location. Manager offered some advice about how to fix it before I commit to bringing it in for a fix. Good vibes.

Seems pretty good. found these guys on google and had them check my sub setup out because it kept cutting out. they figured it out within 15 minutes and charged me $30 instead of the normal $60 diagnostic fee. ill definitely be back when i need service again.

Bad service can I come here Got in my Mustang to install a double DIN multi DVD touch screen and the guy charged me 450 and did not install the rear-view camera did not install the speakers like the way he said he was going to do. When connecting my amp did a poor job in connecting the ground wire . so pretty much the total that came out $560 for a piss-poor job I ended up rewiring my speakers and re grounded my amp so in reality I paid $560 for four speakers and the wiring done because everything else I had to rewire and had to install my own backup camera and on top of that he kept some of my wires that came with the package and try to keep my remote. I had to go back the next day and asked for it because they just keep giving me the run-around over the phone

120 bucks for buying and installing speakers plus 200 for installing my own radio.....you be the judge.

Mike helped me out with my Monte Carlo, and they worked on my civic many years ago, too. They did some door and rear speakers on the MC, and a viper alarm with remote start on my civic.. These guys can do what most shops cant/wont do. Straight up solid work. Never had any issues

Solid spot. Had my car in the dealer to get some work. My stereo was buster (2011 ford fusion) and quoted me $630 to replace my stock radio/CD. Called universal up and got a good quote, walked out $420 later. Touch screen,Bluutooth, hands free calling. took about 2 hours to install. Guys did a good job. Def recommend 👌

Came in to get a Bluetooth, Auxiliary, and USB into my 2005 Honda Accord. Went in at first and wasnt happy with the module and Bluetooth they had to offer but they said it was no issue because they will happily install any module I bring in. So after doing 3+ hours of research I found a good one on Amazon and they installed in within an hour on me being their, while waiting I chatted with the owner and they went so out of their way for me to be happy with my service. Im now happy with my system and the work that went into it. I know NOTHING about cars but they made it easy for me I really recommend this service and can happily say its worth the Yelp accolades it has.

I drive a 2015 Chevy Camaro, the stock stereo on it got messed up a few months ago so I was without a stereo for months. I was doing research on aftermarket stereos that would look good on my car. After doing some research I found this place online. I gave them a call and Frank helped me out over the phone. Told me to stop by and take a look at what they had. When I got there the owner was there and some other guy both so friendly. The owner and frank showed me some options and quoted me on a new unit for my car. I am so happy with the way the the stereo came out! These guys did an amazing job! The customer service was over the top! Everything got done the same day! I’m so happy with this shop! I came into Universal Car stereo today in order to do some price comparisons to a Big Box store that I had recently inquired in about having a new stereo put into an older vehicle that I had purchased. I was only there for a price comparison. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and after a quick look over of my vehicle I was given options of what stereo would both work well in my vehicle and have the options I was looking for. I was quoted a no nonsense, no surprise installation fees price for the unit and the installation. I was then given the option to have the stereo installed IMMEDIATELY. Even though they discovered a problem with the harness, they still proceeded with the installation, fixing the harness along the way, all for the originally quoted price. After a few minutes of watching tv I was on my way with the new stereo installed and working like a charm. I was even given a quick tutorial on the system, and with my phone synced up I was on my way. This was a fantastic customer service experience. I would highly recommend that if you live in Fullerton or close by and need car audio work done, check out Universal Car stereo. When I blow up my old speakers with my new stereo I will be back! The price was awesome, the speakers are good quality, the customer service was excellent. However, the reason why I gave them 3stars is because I examined the area where they replaced my speakers and the door panels & brake light fixture were missing the screws that hold them in place. Also, the worker did not put the panels back properly and I had to do it myself.

Jordan and Frank are hands down the BEST. Gave us extremely fair pricing, provided extra care by inspecting all vehicle possible problems, after explaining to them i had purchased my mew car from a mom and pop dealership and how they stole the entire sound components after we test drove it and left it for them to fix a few minor issues. They sold us the best sound system for the style of music i prefer, and looked at everything we had concerns from the dealership fpr no extra charge. And the one thing they couldnt fix, told me to go down to the actual hyundai dealership and order the back up camera and they would install it for free. 1 year warranty on the products, with lifetime labor warranty. Then they are doing my husband truck now for a killer price and have treated us with the most respect and honesty unlike any other automotive place ive been to. Extremely impressed and happy with the badass sound they gave me. Thank you guys so much

This is a good shop with good prices. The owner is actually into car audio not just a salesman. Keep in mind this is not an ultra highend shop with ridiculously high installation prices. They do good work but not the place for you to bring a Ferrari hoping to get discounted prices on a super high end install. I have nice cars and they have done good work on all of them. Everybody I refer to them has been really happy.

Jordan the owner is super professional and wants all his customers to get the product they desire. Him and I agreed to a great price for a pioneer headunit for my 2006 Subaru Sti. MIKE the installer did a AWESOME job on my car and installed it very fast and correctly, compared to lots of un experienced sound shops in the area.

Went to get stereo and 4 speakers installed .This Place had my classic car for 2 days Only installed 2 speakers and they said they couldnt install my other 2 because it was to much work for them and they dont do that kind of work, after they already looked at my car prior to installation and said they can do it no problem . They had my number and didnt call me to let me know what was going they just went ahead and installed the 2 speakers and stereo and charged me 20$ less no consideration on what i might of wanted to do . (How about dont touch it leave it ill take it somewhere else) I would have payed more to get it done right or taken somewhere else that did work on classic cars . To top it off my original chevrolet trunck emblem went missing, of course they dont know anything about it .guess they were about a quick buck then long time customer
