We could only stop in for a short time before closing but we got a quick tour and I was really impressed! Things are very well organized and easy to find, I liked the regional maps on the wall, and the tasting area seemed comfortable and welcoming. Theres a huge variety of wines and beers - and they even had a variety of sake! - and the self-serve setup is very neat. Additionally, Bill is very nice and knowledgeable, and he was patient with us as he explained all about Cellar 55.We picked up some wine and a couple of bottles of beer while we were there, and were looking forward to coming back both as regulars and to attend special events!

Stopped in for a wine dinner and the experience was exceptional. The wines were expertly selected to pair with creative dishes by Chef Regan. A great night at the best wine and craft beer location in the Triangle.

This is my meeting place for BNI. They have great Caribbean food with a Chef on sight and wine and beer tasting. A very warm and relaxing atmosphere.

Nice little place. Lots of great looking wines. Had fun at the Friday wine tasting. Really tasted a difference in each region the wine came from. Enjoyed my time at Cellar 55. You can sit around in the back and drink too.

Excellent bottle shop with wine and craft beer (local and beyond!). Theres also fresh product available for consumption on-site in their spacious and relaxing tasting room. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - absolutely worth a visit if youre in the area.

I really like the location and its a cool concept. I only tried the pour your own beer, did not try the wine (I will next time!) However, service was not consistent, and I was told different things about ordering food by staff. I think over time the experience will get better, it just felt a bit off for my first visit. Also would be nice if you could just get your own free glass of water, especially if you order food. We tried the dates and olives appetizers - very good!

Great place for craft beer

This place is a hidden gem! The beer wall is a great way to sample beers and not be obligated to buy a whole pint. The cooler and shelves are stocked with great options. I would definitely recommend stopping in to stock up on an excellent collection of brews!

To have such a quality store so close to home is amazing. They have a wonderful selection of wine. The staff is very knowledgeable and so friendly. They have wine tasting and wine by the glass, just amazing. And for the beer drinkers they have a wide variety also. Give this place a try. I know you will be pleasantly surprised.

Fun place to get new wines and brews. Definitely worth a visit. Not the cheapest place, but a good and unique selection. Good Riesling selection...my wifes favorite. Large selection of Chardonnays and Cabernets. A good selection of unique wines like Pomegranate, Peach, etc. Many brands from across the country and international as well. Very much worth a visit.

One of the best 2 bottle shops in the area. Love that this one has a little tapas set up inside it now. Selection of beer and wine combined is second to none in the area.

Pleasant staff. Good selection. A bit higher pricing than my other go to place and not able to get some wines that my other can. Great local place for wine. Best thing is their tasting room in the back that has a card based beer and wine dispenser setup with nice seating options. Occasional food trucks make for a nice outing.

Like that they can get you on short notice a lot of local beers on keg. Friendly and very customer oriented. My go to store for buying a keg for my parties .

Staff is always helpful and engaging. They are always informing you of local events they host and can assist you in finding your favorite beverage. A great selection of local, regional, and imported beers. They also have a great wine selection and is a nice place to relax and have a drink or two. A nice little getaway tucked away in Fuquay-Varina.

My whole extended family loves this store! The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I went to Cellar 55 based on a family recommendation after expressing my frustration finding my favorite beer and wine. Not surprisingly they didnt have it(its super rare) in stock but Julia quickly offered to track it down for me...few days later I got my beer and Im a happy man :).Thank you Julia your awesome!

Very cool place! Employees are very nice and knowledgeable about beer. The place is designed nicely. Unsure how the food tastes but what I saw people eating looked good. The rarity of the beers they sell is great too, get tired of the same standard beers from local breweries always offered at main stream stores, but Jarrod has small/limited batch from all the same local breweries which is great to see and try!

The staff here is excellent and super approachable. If you don’t know much about beer or wine no worries someone will be happy to help without looking down their nose at you!If you do know a good deal about either beer or wine you’re going to love the carefully crafted options.

This is a great place to find quality wine and beer! I have been to many around the whole triangle and this is my favorite. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful. There are lots of local beers and self pour stations for wine and beer. They also have tastings and wine pairing dinners.

Great wine tasting on Fridays. Nice owners. Small, but good neighborhood vibe. Nice selection of wines and beers, as well as meats and cheeses to accompany the wines. Been twice now.

Loved it. There were plenty of affordable wine and beer selections. TVs to watch while you enjoy your beverage. Snacks for purchase and even some games for older children.

Found this place the other day when going out for dinner. Very nice store with a good selection of reasonably priced wines. The staff is helpful and went out if thier way to helo me find suitable alternatives to what I was looking for. Looking forward to attending one of their tasting events.
