The vibe is amazing here.... They have cute outdoor setting with lovely music. The interiors is cozy and great to catch up with friends or catch up on stuff. They have a good selection of beverages and doughnuts. We tried their special Iced tea, which we were told didnt come with any sugar. We should have probably taken half sweetened. The taste was good but definitely tasted bitter to our liking. Anyway, it was a choice we made but the folks did warn us about it. Hence Im giving this place full 5 stars. It might have helped if we were suggested to add the sweetening but nevertheless we had a good time here.

Amazing coffee and great staff inside. It took me awhile to learn exactly how I like my coffee (3x shots, over ice, 1/2 honey cinnamon flavor, and a splash of oat milk) but with the help of Alex and the rest of the staff they helped find the perfect concoction. My coffee never disappoints! Just hope they add bagels soon!!

This is a great place with a casual atmosphere. Excellent coffee and awesome service. Plan to wait in line for a while on Saturday morning, but well worth it.

I drive almost 30 minutes to come here most weekends to read and enjoy a coffee. Pour over coffee is a bit pricey, but I understand theres a good deal of time that goes into making it. The staff is always so friendly and they have great baked goods too. Check it out if you havent been!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place! First and foremost, the coffee is delicious and stood up to my snobbery coffee preferences. The staff was friendly and talented, and created an awesome & tasty experience. I got an espresso shot and a drip coffee, both of which were amazing. Second, the atmosphere is wonderful! Plenty of places to sit, whether for studying or for conversing. I needed a spot to read for a few hours, and this was perfect. Not too loud, and the seating was comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Great little hometown coffee place with indoor and outdoor seating. They sell coffee of course but also have matcha tea loose leaf teas as well as a selection of beef chicken and pork rubs infused with coffee. They also have breakfast wraps scones cookies all local fresh homemade stuff.

Such tasty treats can be had here. If youre looking for savory or sweet, this is your place. I highly recommend the sausage and parmesan scone. Also, the coffee is incredible and you can buy bags to go.

So, I wonder why is Cultivate different than other coffee shops?. There are plenty of things, like being on a more quiet street, and having outdoor seating... but I think the most obvious is that they roast their own coffee. Most other coffee shops simply buy it from Larrys or similar (no knock on Larrys) who often give them equipment also. As an entrepreneur, I respect Ben and Alex for having the guts to buy their own equipment and roast their own coffee. I consider them to be the pioneers of Fuquay coffee in this way. As other coffee shops pop up, remember who the actual fresh coffee roasters are, especially if you are taking coffee home with you.

Awesome coffee shop! I hit a delicious gingerbread bread cookie and peppermint mocha coffee. The cookie was nice and soft, just the way I like it. The peppermint mocha was awesome as well.

Delicious coffee drinks and pastries in hip little space. We ordered iced cold brew, a cappuccino, and a sweet potato donut. Everything was extra delicious. The iced coffee was strong and you could really taste the roast. The cappuccino was one of the best Ive had. Great flavor, good foam on the milk, excellent espresso/milk ratio. The donut was baked not fried, and was delicate and moist. The space was nice to hang out in - stamped.cement and modern look. We will definitely be back.

Good coffee, pastries/donuts are solid, always had friendly interactions with the employees. It is nice to see a quality coffee shop in Fuquay.However I will not return after noticing that they did not even remotely enforce a mask policy. I would say 1/3 customers walk in, order and continue to spend time in there with no mask. I didnt notice this in one, or two, or five trips. This was over the course of 9 visits in 3 weeks. I was willing to hangout there as I really enjoyed the coffee and needed a place to do work. Obviously you cant eat or drink with one on but having a back bone and protecting your customers and employees should come first. The kind of people who do not wear masks are exactly the people to spread this virus.

Came in few days ago and purchase the Honduran blend of coffee to take home. The aroma was delicious and super aromatic. I am normally a dark roast person and a lot of dark toast taste burnt. However this one did not. It was very delicious and honestly one of the best coffees I have purchase in NC. The shop itself is nice. Things to eat, lattes, and even local beer if you choose. Good job Ben! Keep it up! Will be coming back to try the other blends.

Went here today for a Saturday morning treat and was not disappointed! First of all, the space is awesome - loved the theme / decor! The staff was super friendly and my vanilla bean iced latte was FABULOUS. The line moved a bit slow but its the first week and they were busy so definitely not holding that against them! I also tried the sweet potato mini muffins, which are also amazing! They have mini muffins, scones, cookies & ice cream! They had some interesting flavor choices - rose, hazelnut, meyer lemon cookie, blueberry cheesecake to name a few. Ill be back to try them for sure. Definitely recommend checking them out. Great indoor / outdoor seating as well. Parking can get a little hairy Id assume but with rock harbor closed, that whole parking lot should be available.

Not my favorite donuts, but a great spot to grab coffee and hang out for a bit. One of the few places that knows how to make a cortado. Pleasant service too.

Indoor and outdoor seating available with several places to plug in a computer for a longer stay. Friendly staff. Has a cool vibe. Several young families with their little ones at midmorning on Saturday. Several adults meeting with friends. Nice modern industrial/farmhouse asthetic.

Cool little spot with ample seating/working space and quick, friendly service. Tons of loose-leaf hot tea choices to choose from - both herbal and black teas. Baked goods looked tasty but we had just come from brunch at Vicious Fishes so I stuck with tea only. Will definitely be back next time Im in need of perking up in this neck of the woods.

Went there this morning. The space is gorgeous. I had modest expectations since it was their first week (training people / getting systems in place etc). The cappuccino I had was amazing and the cinnamon chip scone was so awesome. Cant wait to take my wife and friends here, and excited to have it a part of the community.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Fuquay! It has the cutest aesthetic and is a great place to grab coffee and study. My favorite drink to get there is the iced honey cinnamon latte. I try to swing by at least a few times a month.

Amazing single origin coffee with a smooth depth of wonderful toffee and chocolate notes. Tasty array of sweets (sweet potato & cream cheese cupcake highly recommend). If you need your caffeine fix in a laid back, hip lounge environment this is the place to go! P.S. they also have craft beer!

Got a chance to swing by Cultivate while in town the other day while in town and really enjoyed their coffee. I grabbed a iced honey lavender latte and it tasted fantastic. Obviously there wasn’t really much of an option to sit inside because of Covid but they brought it to our car and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This is a great coffee shop. The lattes are so much better than Starbucks or chain coffee shops. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Drive past the Starbucks and hit CultiVate and thank me later.

The best coffee you’ll have anywhere (seriously, try to find a better latte), served by such a wonderfully friendly staff. The espresso is so smooth! It makes me sad to go out of town because I know I won’t have the best coffee until I’m back in the Quay!

This is my favorite coffee place. As a woman in my mid-thirties this is totally my vibe. I moved away from Fuquay a couple of years ago and I miss this place. Now I make my own coffee out of a keurig. I blame cultivate.

Ive been in a few times. We usually go after story time with friends, but this time it was just me and my little guy.I love the variety of baked goods and ice cream they have. The coffee....meh.... Im from Seattle.... Coffee was likely in my bottle as a child (not really, but really) the prices are what I would expect from a local shop, but in my past experiences the coffee didnt always live up to the price. Im a mom of all boys, I need something that Lorelei Gilmore would order...better yet a legit IV drip of coffee. Out of the 5-10 times Ive been, today was the FIRST day that theyve had nitro available ☁️☀️☁️😇 🎶 and let me tell you, although very bitter vs a majority of the nitros Ive had, it got me through the day 🙌🙌 Best Cultivate experience yet 🎉🎉My only grip when it comes to the seating (which is fabulous btw) is the the kids tables are right next to your thermostat and a key that looks like it just wants to be turned....and theyre all within reach of a curious kid.... Maybe theres a clear box type cover you can put over it.

My favorite coffee shop in town. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The coffee is amazing and so are the snacks the offer. Try the chocolate zucchini bread, even pick kids love the stuff! Speaking of kids, they can make your hot drinks, not so hot especially for kids who love hot chocolate.

WOW!!! Open for barely a month and they are a hoppin, happenin place. Had a cappuccino the other day, and, oh my, outta of this world. Ive been to Italy and have had excellent expressos and cappuccinos, and Cultivate is as good as it gets. Wonderful beverages and service, run by caring, and knowledgeable people who know their products.

Love their coffee! Amazing cold brew and amazing staff and owners. I felt very safe every time I have been. Masks are required to enter and when ordering. People are not wearing when seated and drinking which makes perfect, logical sense. So happy to have such a great coffee place so close to home!

I had the worst day today and tried starting my morning off with a DELICIOUS coffee from Cultivate.. well, I ended up spilling it all over my car and myself right before work and didn’t even get one sip. I really wanted that coffee so I waited to get off work and went back, ordered my coffee, just casually telling the barista the story (not expecting anything) and they covered the coffee for me. It almost made me cry! Great customer service goes a long way and I’ll be skipping out on Starbucks from here on out!

Superb coffee shop with fantastic coffee and ambience. Lots of open ventilation and well spaced outdoor seating. My only concern is that while the staff was fully masked, a single patron arrived unmasked, then ordered, waited, and payed without being asked to wear a mask. So one star deduction, but overall a great addition to our DTFV community that I will visit again.

Since moving Holly Springs about 3 years ago, I have been looking for a locally owned coffee shop (Holly Springs/Fuquay) in the area that has good coffee and is good to work from on my one day a week where I dont go into the office. I decided to give Cultivate a try today. I am really glad I did. They have a good coffee selection and not overwhelming at all. Their pour over (I got the light roast) was very good and so was the price. I got a scone type breakfast item that had bacon, cheese and scallions. That was really good as well. Later I got a honey cinnamon latte and was equally impressed. After leaving to go get lunch, o came back to finish the day and got their nitro cold brew, which again, was very good. Working wise, their WiFi was perfect for working and the environment had just enough background noise but never too loud. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I had questions or asked for suggestions. They also have good pastry, cupcake and ice cream options. (homemade I think??) I think I found my new go to for my wfh day. You should definitely give them a try if you havent.

Been here several times, pre and during COVID-19. Love the outdoor seating option, the friendly staff, and the simple menu with local bakery options (plus ice cream!!). Its minimalistic inside but still feels homey no matter the season!

I’m not a coffee expert but I’ve had good coffee from all over the world. I think the two best cups of coffee (I drink it black) I’ve EVER had were light roast coffees I bought at Cultivate. So glad I live close by now.

I tried the apple chai and my husband really liked their dark roast coffee. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One suggestion would be to put a trash can outside. They have tables to eat outside but no trash can, so you must return I side to throw your trash away.

Seriously good coffee, buffalo chicken wrap was subpar - $8 (!!!!) for something I had to force myself to eat. Come here for the java, ambiance, baked goods, but skip the wraps!!

As a coffee addict and foodie, its not hard to see why Cultivate has already developed a strong following so quickly. Im usually not one to drive 30+min just for a cup of coffee, but when I walk through the doors, Im reminded its an experience more than anything else. The baristas are always smiling and great to talk to, the baked goods from Bestow are amazing and the owners Ben & Alex are probably some of the most down to earth people youll ever meet.Fresh roasted coffee will honestly, blow your mind. Ive had a lot of difference coffees over the years, and I had to admit that Starbucks used to be my go to, but I dont think Ill ever go back! Sign up for their subscription service and get a different bag every month, or find one you like and have it delivered!Just dont forget to stop in and say hi and get some coffee or baked goods. Its worth the 30min drive from Morrisville.

I dont drink coffee but I enjoy coming here to get it for my friends/coworkers! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are quite friendly.Plus, they have plenty of non-coffee items such as ice cream and baked goods, which are all delicious (in my experience).There have several comfortable seating options as well as board games and even a jumbo Jenga-type block game. Kids and even infants are definitely welcome here! Im not sure about pets indoors, but they have outdoor seating options too!My friends say the coffee is delicious! Cultivate uses chocolate milk in their mocha and Im told it is delightful. 👍

This place is great. It has a relaxing feel that is very welcoming. The coffee is good and there are food options as well. Good place to grab coffee with kids as they have an area with games and a small table.

Interior design is very nice looking: a mix of cozy and clean. The board game section is a wonderful touch to relax with friends.

We hosted an after hours party here and it was an AMAZING venue! The owners were responsive, accommodating and friendly while we were planning, and were very generous with their time and assistance when the day of our event came. The shop was sparkling when we arrived and it was such a tasteful and pretty space for a special event. We were able to pre-purchase brewed coffee, cupcakes and cookies (from the in-house bakery, Bestow) for all of our guests. A staff person was there during the event to serve guests from the bar for drinks and lattes. It was a perfect set-up and I highly recommend it! Alex, Ben and Heather made everything so easy for us and went above and beyond to make our event feel special. We were so grateful for their kindness.

Very convenient across DMV, friendly staff and cozy ambience. We arrived in morning for a road test, so we ordered two parfait (berry and just granola) for breakfast, unfortunately both were soggy and lacked taste. Coffee was good though.Note: updated the rating to 5, for the fact owners do listen to customers, provided refund, and everything else in the store is 5 star.

A neat coffee shop in downtown Fuquay-Varina! They’ve got great coffee and their muffins are huge and soooo tasty! I got the banana bread, chocolate chip muffin and it was yummy! With it being so huge, it was difficult to finish. I found out they roast their own beans and make their own syrups as well. It’s a neat little spot to remotely work for the day and has a cool ambiance.

Went for friends music night. Great treats - cookies, baked goods and ice cream. Stays open late for local music. Even accommodates families with their children. Said to be busy all day with folks wandering in for coffee.

This is a great spot in Fuquay. The inside has a nice atmosphere for hanging out and working. The bakery is tremendous. The ice cream is also very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is the place to go if youre in SE Wake county.

Love Cultivate!! The lattes are FABULOUS! Nothing artificial. If you prefer beer or wine they offer that as well. The atmosphere is chill and on warm days the garage style door is lifted and you feel like you’re outside. They have outside seating too. Baked goods, we have not been disappointed. Icecream from milk that cows are grass fed. Excellent place.

First time at this spot. Got pretty packed for 10a on a Weds. Great roasts! Picked up a bag of beans for the house. They have some pastries and look like ice cream (scooped) is in the near future. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

I have traveled to many countries around the world including living in Tokyo, Japan for three years which is considered the birth place of iced coffee. Cultivate Coffee in my opinion is the best coffee I have had in the world. I would even put it above Japan as far as the overall flavor of the roasted beans I get from them every month. Cold Brew is my default go to for coffee. My recommendation is to check out Cultivate - you will not be disappointed. I even have friends from Tokyo excited to taste the incredible coffee at Cultivate! Side note - the Pumpkin Spice latte is the best!

Really appreciate the atmosphere and friendly staff here! Their nitro cold brew is great & I love that theres a dog-friendly out door seating area as well. Only recommendation I have is to change the outdoor open garbage can to a closed one because a lot of fly swarm around it and the table near by.

Stopped in for the first time today and had their freshly roasted light roast Ethiopian pour over along with cinnamon crumb coffee cake. I enjoy Ethopian Yirgacheffe coffee and Cultivates roast is right there for flavor. The coffee cake was delicious as well. Highly recommended.

It’s definitely an interesting venue. Almost like a hipster coffee joint on steroids. Which, if that’s your thing, then this place is for you. We ordered 4 hot chocolates on Saturday, and it took so long, that I literally could’ve walked the 1.25 miles back to the office. I could expect that from a fresh ground coffee, but it seemed like an excessive wait time for some hit chocolate. Taste wise, it was average. Kinda like a Swiss Miss, which made the experience even more “neutral.”I’ll probably come back and try one of their other beverages at some point, but a hot chocolate is pretty basic, yet missed the mark a bit. Still a cool place due to the ambiance.
