I will never shop here again. I highly encourage everyone else to shop online and avoid this store. The waits are long (20+ min for 3 people ahead of you) and youre hardly acknowledged when you walk in the store. Youre treated just as another number and sale very bluntly. Shawn the general manager showed no professionalism and acted as if he was a newly hired associate, with something something smart to say. Good luck to anyone whom comes here to shop.EditThe general manager also lied about the phone I was looking to purchase being on back order if I ordered online. I have the phone now and it got here quickly with no hassle. Just shop online!

The Manager of this store is very friendly and knowledgeable and if I need further help with an Verizon services or question I know I will get the help needed. The ladies here helped us so much, from holding the door open when we walked up, to helping us know which SIM card went in which phone after I went back in. They were so nice, and the most helpful that Ive ever had anyone be at a phone store. Made me proud to say weve been with Verizon all these years and dont plan to leave.
When I was moving my number from my mothers account me and my friend were put through 3 days of calling support and trying to get a number transfer pin. We had gotten everything set on the support online but then was told that I wasnt on the account and that my mother must have just removed me when I came from there. We got fed up and got my mother who was able to resolve the issue in less then 5 minutes. Now this isnt entirely the people who work heres fault but the one that irritated us to no end provided no help and prompted me to go through all this. The last worker who helped us was great and is the only reason Im giving 3 stars because she was kind and able to help the problem and understood our situation vs just dismissing us and offering no solutions

I decided to write a review after bringing a friend of mine to the store in order to get her password problem solved. What I noticed is an awesome staff of employees that were very patiently helping customers that were having a hard time understanding their phones, their bills, what came in the mail, etc. I never heard them complain to each other or ignore any customer that walked thru the door. They were smiling while assisting the customers and Ill say it again, were Very patient with everyone. Customers left happy even if their problem was not immediately resolved. Store was clean, masks and hand sanitizer was available. I think their policy is any employee not vaccinated, wears a mask. Access in and out of the parking lot is a little tricky depending on which direction you are coming/going but I highly recommend this store.
Like any other Verizon store, all the latest in phones, notebooks, etc. The workers are polite and helpful.

I’m giving this place a 1 Star rating solely on the lack of customer service we received from a manager named “Jessica.” I purchased a phone for my mother for her birthday and made an appointment for her to pick up her phone in person on her birthday. When my mom arrived “Jessica” would not allow my mom to pick up her new phone because she was not on my acct as an admin. Verizon headquarters three way called into the store and notified “Jessica” that the proper forms had been signed to authorize my mom to pick up her phone and the notes in the Remarks section on my acct showed that. After 15-20 mins on the phone with a Verizon Customer Service supervisor telling “Jessica” that is not proper procedure and she needed to allow my mom to pick up the phone. Needless to say, “Jessica” insisted that my mom could not pick up the phone after being at the store for over 2 hours. My mom wasted 2 hours on her birthday and never got to receive her birthday gift due to “Jessica’s” poor customer service. I hope that “Jessica” was reprimanded for her actions and is never allowed to work with customers again. 😡 Thankfully Kendra helped my mom a week later and my mom said Kendra was very nice and willing to help her. Your store needs more Kendras and “No Jessica’s”

It is a good place to get phones.**Update** for November 26, 2019.Bought a new unlocked Moto G7 Power smartphone on Amazon and took it to this Verizon store.The manager Kaitlyn was difficult and rude. She refused to activate my new 4G LTE phone she even even went as far as to outright lie to me when she insisted my phone was not a valid Verizon phone. It clearly states on the box that its compatible with Verizon. Even after I showed her on the box she was determined not to help me.I went out in the parking lot and called Verizons customer support and gave the rep the IMEI #, the rep on the phone said the phone would indeed work on the Verizon network. I went back into the store to get a sim card the manager again refused help. She wouldnt give me a sim card even though Im a Verizon customer. The manager told me I should have bought their phones and not buy from Amazon. I tried to buy the Moto G7 power from her store a couple of weeks prior but they didnt have that model in stock at the time and was waiting on a shipment. I ended taking it to the Guntersville location where I was greeted by a helpful employee. The Gadsden Location seems to frown upon prepaid customers, only two days before the same location that adamantly refused me service was filled with people who they helped.

I went in trying to switch my number over and I had the SIM card and refill card for Verizon I just thought it would’ve been quicker to go in store so I could get everything done all at once. I go in just so two so called “Verizon workers” could tell me my phone couldn’t be activated just bc they didn’t want to do they job.i stood there and watched the man just quickly hit button on his pad. So I leave and sit in my car and do it online MYSELF and got everything switched over just fine. Even talked to the customer service people and they said my phone was fine. All this money Verizon makes and they just hire the laziest, non professional, racist people ever. I will not return to this store whatsoever. The staff is lazy non helpful and racist. My skin color shouldn’t determine if I should or shouldn’t receive service.

Manager (Jessica) was the rudest ever! I told her this in front of other staff and customers, I wouldnt ever do something like that but I was so confused as to why. As a very long time customer I tried to upgrade my account to get a new phone. It wasnt to my advantage to do an upgrade as it was too costly and the phone they offered was inferior to the one I have. Verizon seems to only offer good deals to new customers and soaks their long time customers.
Only want to sell you new phone. My phone got update from Verizon it bricked it. They tell me I dont have insurance so need new phone. First I have to pay off my six month old phone 600.00. Ok but cant I turn it in and get some credit. No because it does not work. It does not work because of you..and your update. So there solution was pay $600.00 for my brick of a phone then pay another $800 to get same phone that works because I have to wait a year for payment plan. All this because YOUR update ruined my phone.I dont have Verizon and talked family into leaving as well.

The Verizon store in itself is a nice place and the vast majority of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. However do not use Chambers as he has no clue what he is doing and was extremely rude to myself and my wife and spoke very negatively about other employees. He called me a liar, my wife a liar, and one of the other employees a liar before throwing up his hands and telling me the conversation was over and to leave the store now. Luckily there were other customers who saw the entire thing. The manager was very nice and offered a bill credit but I refused.

Only reason Im giving 2 stars is for the helpful people that work there besides the person who said they are the manager. She was hateful. Then after she was rude, she set me and my father up for the exact same phone number. Then the store closed by the time we realized it. The nice man who helped us the next day was very courteous. Later, I met a man from the Fort Payne office and I mentioned I might start coming there because of my experience. He then states You must be talking about the manager. Ive heard horror stories. So this is a common problem.

It was horrible the manager was very unpleasant. I had to ask her kindly to please be nice. I am really getting sick and tired the amount of time you have to spend either talking with them on the phone or in person. They need to get their act together. I have been with them for years and I am ready to leave.

Needless to say based on past experience and the terrible reviews on here, we were dreading going into check on upgrading our phones (especially on Black Friday). However we were so pleasantly surprised that I just had to write a review. On arrival, we were met at the door by a young man, who took our name, and ask how he could help. We told him we needed to upgrade phones, he advised that he would get someone to help us. After less then 5 mins, he introduced us to a young lady named Kendra. Kendra was both pleasant and efficient, answering our questions, and helping us decide on phones and accessories. Once the phones were picked out she had us up and running quickly. Not sure about the others in the store, but would definitely recommend asking for Kendra at this location.

Samsung 8 7 weeks old.First took back within 10 days of purchase they adjusted setting, told me it should be fine been on phone forr hours and hours phone is horrible. Want keep a charge, want keep a signal and they want to replace with REFURBISHED. So I paid 800.00 for a refurbished phone. SAMSUNG said they should have have me new phone the first time I took it back. Terrible service. I dont have this phone for games I am trying to run a business. bad bad bad. Dont go herr.
