It doesnt seem to matter which Batteries Plus Bulbs I shop at, they are always friendly, helpful and always seem to have what I need. In the event its not on the shelves, they are willing to make it or order it. I would recommend you guys to anyone looking for special batteries or bulbs as well. Really great service. Brought in a device made in Switzerland that wouldnt hold a charge (itd been sitting for years). To replace the rechargeable battery pack from the manufacturer wouldve taken weeks. Robert said give me an hour. Came back later that day and was blown away that the device not only works, but already had a full charge. Really great considering the urgency of my situation. You always get quality merchandise and you always get quality assistance at this store.., theyve always gone above and beyond the call of duty..... The merchandise is a little bit more than some places but its worth it for the quality assistance and the quality of the merchandise you get and they never have to search for it they just have it whatever it is youre looking for.... Great place to get any battery you might need for anything

I’m extremely disappointed in the business ethics of their employees. I walked in looking for a specific battery for my key fob, I handed him the battery he tried to sell me a lifetime battery warranty for $20 and said that if I didn’t buy this warranty my car would continue to light up that the battery is low each year. I said no I just need the single battery. He proceeded to grab an off brand battery from a bulk packet off the shelf, he scanned the Bulk packet and charged me $13 for a $1 battery. I’m assuming he took advantage of the fact that I’m a female and young and to his credit was not aware about the price of the battery until I got in my car and googled it. Realized he just charged me 12x what I should have paid and it was an off brand battery. It’s not money, I don’t care about the $13 it’s the ethics of this individual that he has the audacity to take advantage of another individual over something so insignificant. It’s a shame and I will never shop at batteries plus again.

Great service, greeted when I walked in. Went an extra mile by checking my car key battery before having me buy another one. Offered to check my car battery out since at times my car doors would not lock or unlock by key chain. Gave me a coupon for next time I needed to buy a car battery, which might be in the near future.Excellent service. I think they appreciated my business and I appreciated their service.

Excellent service and products. I called five other places about getting a replacement battery for my 2013 MacAir--considered vintage now. Robert was the only one who took me seriously and found a battery for it, even though they arent sold by Apple any more. A week later, Jim installed the battery pronto and the computer works great! Jim is clearly an expert at everything there is to know about store products--just listen to him patiently explaining the inner workings of devices to people on the phone or in line. I will not go anywhere else for key fobs, car batteries, light bulbs or computer and phone repairs. This place is THE BEST!

I had to get a new car battery and Consumer Reports highly recommended the Duracell battery in which Batteries and Bulbs was the nearest dealer. I ordered the battery online and it was ready for me to pick up within a couple minutes from the time I placed the order. The staff was friendly and took the battery out to the car. My wife later brought the old battery back to get the core charge reversed on my credit card. The staff was very helpful. My wife did not have to carry the old battery in because the staff went out and retrieved it from her vehicle.

I had got a replacement remote for our car there. We got excellent service from Gabby and a more than fair price. She came out to the car and programmed it in 2 minutes with cheerful attitude and extensive knowledge of the product. I will continue using this store for another 10 years. Don’t hesitate to ask because they more than likely can fix or replace your part.

I placed an order for an unusual battery pack, and shortly received an email that my order had been processed & ready to pick up. But then I got a phone call from the store saying the email was incorrect, that it was a special order so would take 4 or 5 days to get, and not to come to the store. I very much appreciated the personal touch that saved me a trip to another town! Nicely handled.

I came in for a cracked screen on my iPhone and was told the repair could take up to an hour. I was in a rush and luckily Ethan understood and repaired the device within 30 minutes! Today I visited Batteries Plus Bulbs for the first time. The store manager Mr. Anderson was so helpful . He spent a lot of time explaining how some of my cell phone features worked ( I am a grandmother and not as sharp as younger folks about iPhones) . I told him I was going to write a review so here it is...all positive! Thank you Mr. Anderson for your patience and time.

These folks are great. My old cell phone battery would not hold a charge any more. I ordered a new one online and picked it up in the store a half hour later. The store manager gave me some helpful advice about how I can take care of the battery to make sure it doesnt die next time.

This place may have your battery but you will be overcharged. A $12 battery from an online store sells for $45 at this place. The cell phone isnt even worth the price of the battery. Offered him $25 for the battery so as to make the sale and keep the money local. Clerk refused... And so did I at $45 plus tax. Buy online!

This company has earned all of my future business for life. They always go above and beyond to repair my electronics quickly and with great care. Their prices are competitive and the care they give to every customer is extraordinary. Robert, the store manager, is a tremendous asset to Batteries Plus Bulbs and has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion. I left feeling very grateful to have found this incredible business.

They are so knowledgeable and helpful and take the time to make sure you get what you really want. they made my aftermarket key for my car for me and sold me lots of batteries for all of my devices and for backups. My visits, there were two of them, were both very good. I will return to them if the need arises.

Awesome they install every battery

The service is great, always knowledgeable staff to solve my battery problems. I can order online and pick up in the store which saves time. I have gotten batteries tested, batteries replaced, and have always been satisfied with the quality and service.

Bad ex bad experience

The screen installed has bubbled edges and the screen is not installed correctly. I have not had time to return for repair as it was a long process to get the screen repaired. Also, the cost is above the competors pricing by over $30 for the same job. Disappointed that I had to wait for a repair for over three hours and then the screen was not installed correctly. The service tech even stated that it took two different screens to install the correct screen. Not sure he knows what hes doing. The screen installed has a dark tint requiring the brightness level to be set at maximum to see any detail at all. And did I mention the bubbles and waviness of the screen! I will try to return for proper install later this week. Its a pain that paying $85 for a repair and not getting a quality repair. Its a waste of my time! Warranty or not do the right job the first time.

This is the third or fourth time Ive been to Batteries Plus for different reasons. The staff has been courteous and friendly each time. They are very knowledgeable and share their knowledge freely. Today they instructed me on how to properly charge my phone in a way that will preserve the battery. They explained the bill in detail to me as well. I feel confident to trust that site with any battery dilemmas that I have.

I rarely write reviews. However, my recent experience has left me with an extremely negative impression. When I entered the building the store manager was not wearing a mask. I initially forgot my mask and was returning to my car to retrieve it, but was told I didnt need it. This put me in an awkward position.I am still trying to reconcile this companys utter disregard for the law. Walking into a store where every employee has a mask in place makes me feel that the company values the safety and welfare of its customers and employees. Following the law should be the minimum standard of care. If public safety isnt a concern, then I doubt their employees safety is important either.

My motorcycle battery was having issues. With the city finally opening up due to COVID, I called to check the warranty on it and an employee advised that it was four days past the one year warranty. I came in the next day to speak with someone and was approached by Robert Anderson who happens to be the store manager. Robert told me that he’ll charge the battery up to test if it’s working properly, if it doesn’t test properly he’ll warranty it out anyway as he understood that I wasn’t able to do so sooner. I came back the following day and sure enough he kept his word and gave me a new battery. I’ve been coming here for bike and car batteries for years and this is the kind of customer service that I respect and appreciate.

I thought I had lost my photos and contacts forever, as EVERY other place I called and everything I looked up on the internet said my phone was impossible to extract data from after I dropped it, broke the screen, AND had it stuck in lock mode password protected with zero back up account or way to unlock it remotely. Robert and his team were AMAZING. They had my phone fixed in 2 hours with ALL my data saved and accessible!!! I am forever grateful to them. By far, the absolute best service in Gainesville!!!

I needed a battery so that I could qualify with a sensitive piece of equipment that for some reason or another began to fail. Instead of simply selling me a battery and letting me walk out the door, Manager Rob took the time to make sure that my equipment was working, even trouble-shooting the device to assure me that it would remain functional. He truly went beyond the call of a salesman, he was a technician.

A friend told me that they got another fob for their car from there. But I needed a battery for my phone and due to the virus, everything was closed. But they took care of it all. I am very thankful. And I am known for my mouth so I will tell everyone.

Ive always gotten what I needed at Batteries & Bulbs. I have never had a problem with anything Ive gotten from my car battery to my key remote. I even found bulbs for my old Craftsmen spot light.

They did a great job replacing my laptop battery. Only took a short while and the price was right.

On the one hand this place did have a hard to find watch battery in stock and that saved me some time. Ordering online will usually be a better use of your time and money. But if you need something immediately or some accurate though poorly delivered advice this place is worth a shot.The service was nothing to get excited about. The guys at the counter acted like they were haggard and beset upon by the worlds most challenging problems when the store was a little on the busy side.Quick to pat themselves on the back. To know your line of products is expected, not exceptional. Likewise they tend to disparage customers for making their incredibly-simple-on-its-hardest day retail job ever so hard.The clerks offered such comments without the slightest inquiry, rapport building or context by the way. I observed this consistently on two visits and with several customers not just myself. Theres a deficit in social skills here for sure.Very familiar mentality from the days of Radio Shack. Its battery retail, not rocket science.Not terrible. But far from great.

I went in the store one afternoon to get a new battery in a key fob. The employee, Jimmy, was awesome. He was open and enthusiastic. He was knowledgeable. He is a Veteran and so am I. He made my experience fun and easier than normal and I recommend him for some kind of reward. I enjoyed my shopping experience.

My car wasn’t starting and I came in really worried about my battery, but Ethan explained that it was actually just an issue with the key fob. He replaced it in about two minutes and I haven’t had any problems since! Very thankful to Ethan and will be returning to batteries plus bulbs for future issues.

I went in this morning expecting the staff to not know how to install my new battery I purchased online last night through their website. I only had this expectation because I went to Autozone a few days ago and they couldnt do it and advised me to take my vehicle to the dealership to get it professionally installed because they didnt want to mess up the computer system in my vehicle trying to get my battery out. I admit it, it wasnt an easy task. Robert was very knowledgeable and in fact training a new employee on how to retrieve the battery and correctly install it. They had me in and out in no time. Battery tipped and was defective. It leaked an excessive amount of acid that ruined the back seat of a friends car. I immediately went back and exchanged the battery and got baking soda from the clerk who agreed it should not leak like it did. By that evening after cleaning up the baking soda I realized the seams all got eaten. I called to speak to the manager who was too busy doing inventory to look into it. I received a call back the next day saying it was my fault for letting the battery tip and all flooded batteries leak and arent actually sealed as advertised. Thanks batteries+

It was so easy to find exactly what I needed, I was lost looking online then I found their site, I was able to find exactly what I needed and buy it right then and pick it up an hour later. They ended a very difficult search fast and easy, Ill be back.
