I met the Big Daddy crew this past weekend at Blade Show in Atlanta. Joe and Denny were amazing. They explained who they are and how they’re working to protect your rights. While I was there, got some beautiful microtech knives from Joe and Denny at Big Daddy. Joe is a wealth of information and very easy to work with. He went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed and he even followed up after the show. That kind of customer service is hard to find nowadays. Great CS. Called and answered by a machine that directed me to a human operator based on department. I explained my account issue to Kiara and she promptly fixed it. They have caller ID so if you call from your listed phone number they recognize you, this way youre not explaining who you are to 8 different people. No fuss, no sideways explanations, just quick and effective resolution.

Good customer service is a rare thing in this day and age. However, today, I did have a good encounter with David C. over at BDU as he helped me sort out an order to get it out to door and shipped over to me. The email response times were lightning fast so that was much appreciated. Thank you!
So I placed an order for my RMR mount plate adapter and it was the wrong one. Granted I know that I made the mistake of ordering the wrong part. With that being said support told me that it is in their policy not to take back an open item and will not look into possibly making an exchange or paying a re-stocking fee. So in other words I had interpreted that they will keep my money and it is what it is. Especially for a paid subscription. This is not a good business practice, and eventually will lose customer loyalty. I will be ending my subscription because of this.
I’ve been a member on and off for 18 months and bought lots of items from these guys and anytime I have had a problem their great customer service team has been able to help me out. One time an item got back ordered after I had purchased it and I was given a free month since it shipped a month late. Another time route insurance was automatically added to my order and Chris D. was able to remove it and refund the extra charge. Overall great site and great gear. I’ve saved so much money on trijicon, magpul, and just about any other premium brand.

Thought I was done with my purchases and let me membership end, only to find myself back in a month.Rejoined for $0.99Flat rate for shipping $6.95, previously $9.95Item ordered was in a box an on its way in less than 24 hours from placing order.Delivery date moved up 3 days from initial estimate and now arriving on a Sunday.Oh yeah, item I purchased was $30-$40 less than other online merchants, including shipping.Really happy with my Big Daddy Unlimited membership experience so far. I joined at the end of 2020 and did experience some delays with order fulfillment initially, but I credit that to the holiday season. Since then their turnaround on orders has been impressive - as good as Amazon! Some wait times if you call in for order assistance but their customer service reps are polite and helpful.Is it worth $9.95 a month??? - for me it has been, my savings as compared to other sources have been significant. It comes down the cost and volume of your purchases. At some point I will have purchased everything I have on my wish list and will likely discontinue my monthly membership. For now I am enjoying the savings!

Very quick and timely response, no wait time or machine answering on customer service, and Audrey called me back to personally give me the update after she and Lopez sorted out the transfer. Tye and Hilario were also very helpful in answering questions I’ve had about products and helped me to find what I was looking for.
I’m going to start with how terrible the FFL information is processed. Most websites have drop down options for FFL dealers in your area. BDU does not. Because of this, you have to leave your desired FFL dealer’s information on the comments leaving one person to monitor your shipment and having to wait for the FFL dealer to email back their FFL number or hope that BDU can find it on their excel documents. This process is slow and inefficient when you want to purchase a firearm.Now my experience. This is my first time purchasing a firearm from BDU and it is absolutely horrible to say the least. I did exactly what they wanted me to do in regards to providing the FFL information through the comments section. I ordered my firearm on Saturday so I waited until the following Tuesday around 12pm to see if they received the FFL information they needed and they told me they haven’t, but they will keep an eye out for it and file my information as soon as possible. I asked if they’re going to send me an email confirming they received my the information and they said they would. I waited another 2 days and called them back on Thursday because I didn’t receive any email from them. I come to find out that they actually received my FFL information on the same day I called the first time but didn’t file my information because the person that was responsible for my shipment went to vacation. I was absolutely frustrated because if I hadn’t called, who knows how long it would have taken to file my information. This is the third day and my firearm is still being processed for shipment even though it is a stocked item at THEIR warehouse. I’ve bought a lot of firearms online and BDU is by far the slowest to ship when it comes to a stocked item. If my item is not shipped by tomorrow I will refund my purchase and stick with the other dozen websites that require no membership or shipping payment.The only good thing BDU has is good customer service. Alex was a really nice and helping sales representative. Other than that I would not recommend BDU for purchasing a firearm. Especially if it’s your first firearm with them unless your willing to wait 2 or maybe 3 weeks for your item to even ship.
Sadly, I had to return a weapon I purchased from Big Daddy Unlimited. Emma from customer service was absolutely outstanding from A to Z. She kept me apprised of the situation each step along the way. My weapon was returned, received, and refunded within 24 hours. Customer service can make or break a business and its safe to say that Big Daddy is doing it right. This experience encouraged me to renew my subscription with Big Daddy Unlimited.

BDU has great deals and if you like to buy gun stuff, Id highly recommend you pay the subscription fee for it. The few times they have made mistakes with my purchases were during a complete system overhaul or when a large warehouse move was taking place and I find those excuses to be reasonable. Their customer service has never failed me how ever, their speedy responses are always helpful.
I have placed several orders with Big Daddy Unlimited. Most of them arrive timely and in good condition. However I have had three that were a bear to deal with. One was a defective item and the replacement was also defective (not their fault but it did take a lot time to get fully sorted out). And two items took over a month to arrive, one of which was in an absolutely crushed box when it finally arrived. Overall my experiences were fine but these issues will keep me off their site for a long time.Update: Thank you, Carlina, for helping sort out my delayed package issue. I really appreciated the help.

I really like your company. I tell a lot of my friends about you. The time prior to today’s call was terrific. Fantastic customer service. However, today, the little girl that you have working for you by the name of Tye was continuously talking over me. She could in no way answer my concern because she was too busy talking. Not only could her mouth not stop, she was rude. She even hung up on me. When I called back to get her boss, she answered every call. I run two businesses of my own. If one of my employees talked to a customer like she did with me AND hung up on them, she would be out of a job in a heartbeat.

Amateur hour drop shipping operation. Took months to only partially fulfill an order for some very common items, one in particular never shipped even though they had it in stock at multiple warehouses, multiple emails got nowhere. Eventually canceled the rest of the order. Prices not worth the hassle and subscription fee IMO

Great prices and constantly getting things back in stock. I have had probably 15-20 orders at this point. The only issue I had was getting a box that did not have the product in it when I opened it up. The rifle I purchase was $70.00 cheaper than any other site. I ordered it last night and it already shipped today. I have purchased many guns from many dealers and this was by far the best service Ive ever received.

Cant say enough good things about BDU. Great prices as youd expect from a membership site, often even having products that a lot of major sites and local stores arent able to right now. Shipping is nothing extraordinary but no complaints either. Sales department (Lopez) was extremely helpful, there was a site wide issue when I was trying to order and he not only got it resolved quickly but was friendly and engaging, heads and shoulders above what was expected and certainly bought a fair amount of loyalty. Are they with it? Are you worth it?
Killer prices, killer business model, love love Big Daddy. Just wish they had ammo... They changed their system to where phone salesman cant really do much of anything which is really annoying and makes things much more difficult for us customers. Either way, this is the shop that youve been looking for.The most helpful person I spoke to was a young man by the name of Nick G. The kid is wicked smart and will one day take over the company! He spent hours on the phone making sure I had my builds just right and that everything is compatible. Without him, I probably wouldnt have purchased half of what I did... Give this man a raise, hes a Masters student in Engineering but works at Big Daddy out of sheer passion. Admirable man.
