This is the place to be!! We been searching for a 2nd car during pandemic, all other dealerships either have unreasonable mark up or take it or leave it attitude.. This place is only few place that still have that super friendly attitude without markup prices. They let us test drive 3 minis with appointment to test drive 1. This is our first mini, Josh was very patient to explain all the different trim, the difference between all the model we test drive even went out of his ways to let us test drive other models to compare even knowing that is out of our price range. Highly recommended if you are looking for a car, this is the place to go to.

I think everyone will like the new MINI. I customized my MINI choosing coral red exterior and black roof/mirror. It looks amazing! And all features could be set as what I need, like heated leather front seats/steering wheel, panoramic moon roof. I could track the car status during the whole process of manufacturing and delivery. Leased a vehicle from here in May 2021 after a stint in the hospital and telling the sales person about that including trading in a vehicle that had numerous repairs up until that point. Apparently explaining to him that those repairs were the ONLY reason I was leasing a vehicle in the first place and that I could not afford big ticket repairs on things like brakes and tires (sorry big ticket for me) went in one ear and out the other. I have had MINIs in the past and never had a single issue and anything that needed replacing such as brakes or tires were covered under a maintenance plan. I have tried numberous times to get in touch with ANYONE from their finance department or service department,..to no avail. NOT ONE CALL BACK and I have called more than a handful of times.

My experience was favorable. I wasn’t looking for a mini but I drove a friend to pick up her beloved mini from the shop, and she told me to look around. Long story short is that the salesman, Edio, was very helpful on all fronts and he wasn’t at all pressuring...just very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM MINI OF MONTGOMERY.:In response to the dealer: I live 50 minutes away, you promised to deliver scent free, you knowingly did not and then say feel free to bring it in I asked you to come pick it up and perform the detailing, but Nick said flatly NO. So that is a fatuous offer.You sent me an advertisement for your body shop, and the part is $175 plus paint and installation. So not sure why you wouldnt, as a gesture, and acknowledging that it is entirely possible the damage happened on your watch, to pay for, or split the difference. I mean you have a body shop!So folks once again: DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM MINI OF MONTGOMERY, especially if it is not a MINI.DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM MINI OF MONTGOMERY. Marko and Nick guaranteed they would take the funky smell out of the car. They delivered the car and it still has the funky smell. With a straight face, said they couldnt smell anything. Claimed they spent $300 to fix, but would not provide invoice to validate they actually incurred the cost. So now Im spending $170 to do the work myself.Additionally, I couldnt take immediate delivery, so the car sat at the dealership for 5 days and Marko, kindly offered to deliver the vehicle to my house on Friday. They delivered it, but it was really raining when they arrived, so I didnt inspect until next day. Upon inspection, there was a hole in the side mirror that wasnt disclosed, or observed before. I called immediately and Nick said too bad so sad, not my problem. A respectable dealership with integrity would entertain the possibility that the damage occurred on their lot, and if not repair, offer to split the difference. Based on the pushback and how adamant they were that I caused the damage, I believe this is not their first time in the shyster rodeoI understand a used car is not perfect, but a dealership should honor their commitments, and not make me eat the costs to eliminate the odors and repair the side mirror damage.Do not buy a used car from Mini of Montgomery and if you want a new Mini, just buy from a different dealership

Buying a used car, even a certified one I wanted to look under the hood as well as under the car and asked him if i could see the Clubman up in the air when I came in for a test drive. I got to the dealer 10 mis early and Rod said it was being put up in the air right now and off we went. The certification process made the car look new with anything not in excellent condition, replaced. The drive was good, the discussions of financing options smooth and I was out of there driving my new car within a couple of hours from start to finish.Had a slight problem when I got home and noticed something was missing, dealer was closed and not open on Sunday. I wrote an email about my concerns and come Monday morning I received both a return email as well as a text from Rod telling me to head back in for correction.Excellent service for an excellent, and beautiful car.

Had a great experience with this dealer.I have a 2012 Mini Cooper s type and the AC completely gave out.Talked to them over the phone and they ran down the options and the cost (about $1600 for what we thought it was)Turns out a rodent had eaten the wires connecting my AC to the coolant and it ended up costing far less.You are always going to pay more to take it to a dealer, but it’s nice to know you are getting honest, quality service.And also a fun loaner.

I want to sincerely appreciate Rod of all his experience and help.I just relocate from abroad and this is my first time buying a car. I always want to have a Mini Cooper and with limited budget. I visited here several time and finally find a pre-owned cooper within my price range. I have visited more then 5 dealerships in DMV area. the pre-owned from Mini of Montgomery County is better than other dealership (easily feel that at test drive). They also sort out lots of financing issues when you have no credit history.The important thing is Rod indeed takes care of you after buying. After buying the car, I found there are some problems need to deal with (some are problems of the car some are my problem). Rod help me negotiate with the service department and successfully waive some of the service charge. My car is too old to have quarantee so this is actually not his duty.....He also tries to provide information how to keep your mini reliable. Instead of sell you a cheap car and let you struggle to survive (and then service department can earn a lot from repairs), they provide you information and support to look after your car (this is especially important when you have a Mini).

Unfortunately, the wait to meet up with Louise (sp?) was really long, but as soon as he was free, the buying process was simple and painless and quick, and he was able to answer all my questions.Its kinda funny to buy a Fiat (the only one there) at a Mini dealership, but Im happy to have done business with this place. I love the car, it is in excellent shape, and we were able to negotiate a very fair price for the vehicle. I give this place a big thumbs up and highly recommend anyone shopping for a vehicle to come here.

I bought my first Mini Cooper on Aug. 23, 2020. It was a used coupe and I was very excited. Staff was friendly and overall sale was good. On October 2, 2020 my check engine light came on I ran the code and it was p0128 (coolant thermostat) I check my coolant level and everything appeared to be normal. I erased it and about 3 weeks later it popped up again. I finally had the chance to take it to mini of Montgomery for an inspection and it turns out my coolant thermostat was bad. The invoice came out to $886. If this repair wasn’t necessary I would have gladly skipped it. But unfortunately it is an essential part of the engine. I am so disappointed at Mini of Montgomery that they would sell me a car that would need such an expensive repair. I’m sure they just cleared the code before selling it to me and I had to pay the price. Beware of buy any used cars from this dealer.

I give MINI of Montgomery County five stars.  I visited the dealership about two weeks ago.  I was in search of a used car to replace my current high mileage SUV.  I prefer to have a practical SUV but with a lot of sass.  I considered the MINIs but I didn’t have any information or experience with them.  When I visited MINI of Montgomery County, I was greeted by Oumar.  He was polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable.  I was surprised to see how exciting and roomy the Countryman was.   After looking around at the online auto stores and used car market, I ended up back in MINI of Montgomery County.   Oumar showed me several options until I saw the car of my dreams. Not only did they give me a generous amount on my Audi trade in, Giles brought it home by making my new dream car better than my budget for a used car.  Best day at the dealership as I rolled out with my beautiful new MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 Signature!  Thank you for a great experience and an even better car.

After going to Mini of Alexandria and walking away after waiting for approximately 8 minutes to get assistannce and being ignored by the sales people and the receptionist being so rude; I called Mini of Montgomery County and after speaking with Nick Kuhar, I decided to drive the additional 45 minutes to get that dealership. I was greeted by Rob Heskee and Nick with smile, positive attitude and they treated with dignity and respect; something that Mini of Alexandria did not do! Even though, I paid $2,000 over the price; I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Nick and Rob.

From start to finish, our early March 2021 experience with Mini of Montgomery County (MD) Motoring Advisor Brian Keener was outstanding. Brian was at all times smooth, unflappable and wonderfully knowledgeable about all aspects of the Mini. There was never a hint of pressure in anything he said during our visit. His manner was more like a gentle and civilized, what took you so long. Mini of Montgomery County is fortunate to count Brian among its salesforce. The fact that we did not purchase a vehicle had nothing to do with Brians manner or competence, which were both considerable. Rather, it had everything to do with our realization that we needed a tad more space at this juncture, when our grandchildren are still on the young side. In fact, so charmed and impressed were we with both Brian Keener and the Mini that we told him that we would likely return to him and the dealership once our grandchildren-related space needs abate, in a couple of years. WOMEN DO NOT GIVE SERVICE TO THIS PLACE: We had an employee Juan Quitto sell us the wrong part for our car. When we returned it he charges us a restocking fee even though he ordered the wrong part by accident. This place also tried to charge my girlfriend $800, saying the engine was falling out of the car, other mechanics in the area said was a total lie. They alleged our engine was falling out of the car. I didnt go, my phone girlfriend went and this was the case of mechanics taking advantage of women for the perception they dont know about cars. Mechanics have a reputation of trying to sell women services their car doesn’t need, and this place is that case.

Cant possibly say anything bad about this experience. Rod was extremely transparent in his quick and thorough communication throughout the process. It was incredibly smooth to both trade-in my old vehicle, as well purchase the new (to me) mini. I never had to wait for assistance, and everything was done in a quick and easy manner. Cant recommend enough!

The attention and service provided at Mini from Montgomery was excellent, it is the second time that we have acquired a vehicle at Mini from Montgomery and when we thought about buying again, the first thing we thought about was Mini de Montgomery due to the excellent service of its salesperson Rod Heskee. If I could give negative stars, I would. I spoke to an agent before the vehicle was even on the lot and told them we wanted to purchase the car. Per their request, I obtained insurance and sent in a large deposit with the agreement the car would be paid for in full by the end of the day, as we are states away, only to have them sell it out from under me. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Do not waste your time; you are just another number to them!
