Best dealership I have ever been to! John ONeil was awesome, Mike Gunderson was phenomenal, Wayne was great - the whole staff was amazing! Even though they are 40 minutes away from me and there is a closer HD Dealer to me, I will be bringing all my business there - and you should to! They have the best staff in every department.I got this beautiful 2021 Road Glide Special. I cant wait for them to do all the mods I have in mind plus all the service on both my Harleys!
Finally upgraded my sportster into a bagger!!! So glad I came to District Harley Davidson. Dino helped me through the whole process and gave me some valuable advice. Matt made sure I got the best deal. Gunderson made the process fast and easy and I was able to hit the road in my new bike. I will definitely be a returning costumer.
I just purchased a used Harley from Dino. I had a great experience. Dino was very informative and made sure I got the bike I wanted. My entire experience was great. Diane was very polite and professional and was willing to make an appointment for me and hold the bike since I was coming from out of state. Julian worked with me to make sure the bike will have everything I need to fit me perfectly. He took the time to do measurements, change my seat and made great recommendations . ( I am only 4 feet 11 1/2 inches tall, so I need things adjusted to fit me!) And last but not least, Justin made sure I got the financing I needed. A great experience. Thank you all so much!
Had a really great experience at District HD. Sales rep was Dino and he was fantastic. Had to come back a few days later to pick up the bike and they were amazing throughout the process. Highly recommend.
Excellent service department! District Harley was able to fix some sloppy work another shop did early this Summer without raking me over the coals. My bike is running better than ever now and hopefully in time for lots of riding before the season ends.
Recently purchased a used bike from District Harley. The experience was great. My sales person, Dino was fantastic. Highly recommended! He was super busy that day but kept me in the loop about everything, was upfront and honest and was just a pleasure to work with. There was no pressure to buy and it all felt relaxed. My finance manager, Mug was great as well! Again, no pressure to purchase anything additional, went over all the details of my trade/purchase, even swapped bike stories and talked about life. I highly recommend this dealer. They make you feel welcomed and treat you as a friend instead of a customer.
John Oneil was fantastic from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and really tailored my visit to help me find the right bike for me. I went in set on a certain model, John educated me and put me on the right path. Im a little younger with no riding experience. So I was expecting not to be taken seriously, but John treated me just like he would a friend/family member.Due to the insane market right now, bikes are very limited. Therefore I was forced to purchase somewhere else or risk not finding the bike I wanted. But John was so great I genuinely felt bad purchasing elsewhere. Will always recommend!
Husband and I came to this location to buy a bike, customer service was good, kids were entertained in the little family section which helped tons, and the process was excellent, Sam was awesome and attentive when showing us the bikes we were interested in and Justin D was very pleasant and made the application process smooth and fast. Will definitely come back here for any future needs.
These guys made everything smooth from A to Z. I purchased a 21 FatBoy which Im in love with her, by the way😁. John, the sale gentleman, was highly knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and responsive. Other staffs were very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive as well. Bike was delivered to my door step by John, and I was given tons of tips. I highly recommend them.
The staff at District Harley Davidson went above and beyond for us. We started with Sam for a Ducat then after giving it some thought we realized we wanted a Harley Davidson and we started to worked with John ONeill. Both men were thorough and couldnt be nicer. We also got to meet all the other staff members, the owner and again, each one couldnt be nicer. They did make us feel like part of their family and we really enjoyed the time spent there. Well be back for sure!!
I was looking for an adventure bike, considering the BMW but when I got to sit on the Pan-American well I just fell for this bike. For all its size and power its amazingly agile. I tried it on the HD training area, she handled perfectly.
Awesome place, and their great people are what make it that way. Dino is the man! Got my son on his first bike ever, and its been an awesome experience since!
District Harley- Davidson is the best in the business. From the sales team to service, apparel, parts, and management! They welcomed me in and made me feel part of something greater than myself. If youre looking into buying a motorcycle I would definitely recommend coming here!!
They are great! I love how they do live music the first Friday of every month!
Great people. Wide selection. Full service. More inventory than any other bike shop Ive visited lately.
If your dream is to own a Harley Davidson go to District Harley Davidson and see Dino and Stacey if you want your dreams to come true like mine. Great people that do their job well. You wont regret it!!!!
Recently started riding and was looking to upgrade from a small cc sports bike to a cruiser. I originally reached out via their online sales to Diane. She was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to my emails. Once there the whole crew made me feel like a part of the family. Dino took me on a test ride. When I told him I’m still new, especially to “heavier” bikes, he was completely understanding and reassured me I could putter around the lot to get comfortable before we left. The whole process of trading my bike in and getting a new bike was so easy. Even though I wasn’t buying a Harley (I got a Yamaha from the used lot), they took care of me and celebrated my purchase with banging music and cheers. It was really neat. I was nervous going in but left totally comfortable with my purchase and that I was in good hands. Would easily recommend and will be a return customer when it’s time for my first Harley. Thanks everyone!
I got my 2018 street glide from them and it was a great experience Dino my sales guy was great to deal answered all my questions. ill gladly send everyone there.
District Harley helped me get my dream bike for an amazing price. I appreciated the honesty and integrity from my salesman Dino and the manager Stacey. The whole buying experience was actually fun from start to finish. I highly recommend District Harley-Davidson!
I purchased a 2020 Ducati Diavel in January. The sales process was fantastic.. The Service after has been HORRIBLE.. I am unsure why service is so bad. I ordered an exhaust in January. It is now MAY and I have yet to receive what I have paid for. They ordered the wrong exhaust the first time, and then would not expedite ordering a new one. So I waited. Then they ordered only 1 part of the exhaust to try and FIX it, only to find out they did not order another hanger because they jimmyed up the old one. Now I am stuck again without what I paid for. Then the actual service. I paid for the 600 mile service, and when I received the bike back the clock/date was off, and the mirrors were flopping all over the place. They were loose. I am beyond exhausted with fighting to get what I paid for and what I am owed from buying the bike. I am in the business and this is the worst experience I have ever had, or been a part of, and I make mistakes at work all the time. I leave messages for the Parts Manager and never hear back. I leave massages for the GM and I do not hear back. I have called every day for the last week to get a hold of him and no reply back. I set an appointment in advanced to have something done, and it does not even get touched the same day as the service. I am told we have just been busy... Well then WHY SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WHEN YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN NOT GET THE WORK DONE????
Best dealership in the DMV, super laid back very nice
I had browsed the inventory of a few Harley dealerships near me and ended up taking the hour ride to District Harley Davidson to check out a Fatboy Lo they had. Best. Decision. Ever. As soon as I walked in the door Dino welcomed me in and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Dino, Stacey and the rest of the staff made my dream come true! I am now the proud owner of 2014 Fatboy Lo. Dino was knowledgeable and really made me feel comfortable. I was even introduced to every other employee there, learning not only their name but what they do there at District HD! Even the little pep talk Dino gave me before my test ride is something Ill never forget. Im very new to riding and did not know what to expect walking in. They really made me feel like family, and I will continue to take my business there, even though there are three dealerships closer to home. The atmosphere was amazing and the customer service was top notch. Stop in and see them. Ask for Dino!
Great experience very helpful staff, Awesome selection of new and used models.
Fantastic service here, shoutout to the whole staff yall are awesome 👌
Well the dealership is nice but I had the worst sales guy never even contacted me to see how bike is doing..I called for its 1000 mile service they said 550.00 wow after even buying it there called battlefield harley 350.00 I didnt even buy the bike there wow big difference
Stopped into District last week to check it out. Great atmosphere everyone treated me like family the interaction with Diane and Stacey was AWESOME. I will return when I am ready for my new Harley and just to say Hi !!!
Very cool experience at the bike wash!
I want to share my fantastic experiences I have had recently at District HD. I went there looking to buy a Street Glide but wasnt able to find one in the color i wanted. Dino and Stacey were so fantastic to deal with that I feel bad that i bought a bike from another HD dealer. In fact, i have been back twice to purchase parts and clothing. When my bike needs maintenance, I wont even think about going anywhere other than District HD.
A lot of their retail is upstairs the main floor got the bikes.
GO SEE JOHN! With the help of John, Stacy, and the rest of the amazing staff at District Harley Davidson I was able to get my very own Harley! They were happy, fun, and a pleasure to be around. From the GM, to the receptionist, and every person in between. Stacey worked hard to get me a great approval and John absolutely went above and beyond anything that could be called traditional customer service. I will never go anywhere else for anything Harley as long as I live!!!
When they first took over I purchased a Harley from them. WELL, there were a lot of things that did not go right. I was charged $700 to service a used bike, it had a bad blinker, the headlight was not working correctly and when I checked the tire pressure when I got home the bike had 20 lbs of air in the front and 22 lbs of air in the rear. They also did not know or reset the unlock code. It also took almost two months for the title work to be complete. To be fair however, I was refunded the $700 for the service to the bike. To be honest when I asked the Harley Salesman for the code to unlock the bike I was told that they would not give it to me because they gave me too much money for my trade. WTH! I ended up buying a fob and having it programmed and the code reset for $75 which was a good deal..There were a few other issues and all was eventually worked out, however I am not a happy customer. The new owner did personally work with me to take care of my issues and I understand that there were problems because they had just taken over from Battley. On the bright side the service department bent over backwards to fix a brake problem, THANK YOU.I am not saying to not buy a bike there, it looks like they are getting their act together, but I suffered when I bought my bike!
Highly impressed! I tried to make it difficult for them. I am very impressed with how hard they worked to earn my business. I had always said (as recently as last week) that I would never buy a Harley. I was surfing the web and saw that they were having a BBQ so I figured Id get lost in the crowd and I would just look around. Someone saw me and greeted me as soon as I walked into the store. She asked if I needed help. When I said I was just looking, she told me to be certain to get something to eat. Someone else asked if I was being helped and also invited me to take advantage of the free food. When I finally asked about a bike, they shared some info about the bike and asked if I wanted to take one out. We rode for about four miles. The bike rode well. I advised them of some things that were a little uncomfortable for me and their response was that they would adjust those things for me. Impressive! They did more to work with me to become a Harley owner than I thought was possible. They treated me like a customer; not like a means to a commission. Extremely personable and friendly. They even admitted that they wanted to make the deal and get paid. They just didnt act like it was their mission. They let me make all of the calls and decisions. The only pressure from the staff was the pressure of resisting the deal that they were willing to make to get me on my first Harley. Its kinda like the saying hurt so good. Buy your Harley wherever, but before you do, visit District Harley and see if they cant give you a great deal first. I believe youll purchase your bike here. Thanks guys! Now I just have to sneak the bike into the garage.
The sales experience at district had is amazing! Dino and Stacy are top notch to deal with and Im extremely satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend them if youre in the market for a new or used motorcycle.
Dino over at District Harley hooked my up with the bike I wanted.. He is one of the best salesman I have ever dealt with.. I have gone to many events over at District and everytime I always felt welcome even before I bought my new Harley. Highly recommend them.
Had a great experience with my new friend and salesman, Dino. He made us feel right at home and he certainly had great music playing too! Even though there was a bit of a delay in getting the deal done, Dino was on my side and got the deal done!! I am now the proud owner of my second Harley (4th all together including my wifes bikes!) and cant wait to start riding into more memories! Go to District Harley/Ducati/BMW and ask for Dino when you are ready start or continue your ride!
My fiancé and I were looking to trade in our Harley sportster 1200 for a Harley Road King Special. We had gone to a different shop the day before and did not have the best experience... but from the minute we walked in and started interacting with Dino, it was great! He was very personable and didnt make you feel like you were getting bombarded with sales pitches. There was always a feeling of flexibility and adjusting to our needs. We got the trade in value we were hoping for, and a relatively good payment plan for the rest financed (which we knew Stacy work hard for!). Honestly no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new bike!
Friendly staff and beautiful store.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Ive purchased 3 motorcycles from them. Extremely happy with the services they provide for me. Special thanks to Daniel for going above and beyond to make sure my new handlebars fit me correctly and for personally installing my highway pegs.
We recently bought a Harley from Sam. He greeted us within two minutes of entering the store and was very attentive to all our questions. -and we had a lot. It was our first motorcycle purchase and we had visited other stores in the area within the past few months, but this store has the best prices. Sam showed us a few bikes in our price range before we settled on one my husband seemed to be in love with. We were then introduced to Gino, the finance manager, who took it from there. Gino was extremely enthusiastic about helping us and made the whole experience better. At the end they did a ceremony where my husband rang a bell to celebrate his first bike. He was grinning ear to ear and everyone gave him a hug. Truly exceptional customer experience.
Buyer beware. If doing business with District Harley Davidson be sure you get everything in writing. They dont tell you that you cant return some items you paid for in full until you have a problem.I had purchased a Maintenance plan for $2,695.00 and had to sell my bike to pay for medical bills for my wifes operation and they said they no longer have that plan and i cant cancel it.They should have put that in writing when I bought my bike. Thanks for your understanding . Thanks Maurice. ( Owner )You only get one star because I cant post without it.I would not recommend this dealer they over charge for everything.
They have the new Harley Pan America for test rides!👌🏾
District Harley-Davidson goes above and beyond for their customers. Not once was I bombarded by pesky sales people. Dino wet above and beyond as well as Stacy with the business management team. If you’re in the market head on over and enjoy the atmosphere.
Great place.
I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon as this was a Harley Davidson dealership I had not yet visited and only about an hour from my house. I was greeted promptly and the staff was very friendly. Made my way upstairs to motor clothes to pick out a tshirt and poker chip for my collection. Nice selection of tshirts. I was not shopping for a motorcycle as Im already purchasing one elsewhere.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT - THE BIG LIE on their website. I was shopping for a new 2020 Touring bike. I found one on their new inventory section. I select GET A QUOTE and fill out the contact information. The result of providing all this information. I dont receive a quote by email or by phone. I finally talk to a salesman, John. He tells me the dealership policy is to not provide a quote over the phone or by email. I ask why do you bait people in with false information? He repeats the dealership policy as stated above. Based on the dishonesty and unethical business practices I would rather pay a little more at another dealership for truthfulness up front.
Staff there were very friendly and helpful!
I recommend this dealership District to anyone in the market for a Harley, Ducati or BMW. The Sales team is awesome and works with you professionally. Great deals that’s why I bought my third Harley from them. Also the dealership has great events and is very proactive with their community.👍
Sam greeted us and answered all our questions right away and Gino the finance manager was paitent and informative. He even had a back rest thrown in for my wife free of charge. Highly recommend these guys
Went there twice over the last 4 months, only the Receptionist said hello. I have bought a bike there when it was Batley, much better crew back then. I’ve had 7 Harley’s and just bought my eighth at Rommel’s in Salisbury Md., best experience buying a bike ever, really nice people.
My rating is based on one thing: my interaction with several of the staff. They were great, and were helpful to the best of the extent possible.
The level of professionalism and dedication to customer service is beyond amazing!!! I cant Express how well I was treated and I recommend them to anyone searching for a new or used Harley or Ducati or BMW. I even got my friend to go down and he bought a Harley and got the same exact level of service. These people do anything to make you a happy customer!. I will definitely purchase another motorcycle here in the future!
Diane, Chris, Stacey and the whole team at District took care of everything from day one and even after my purchase. I traveled from out of state and they helped in every way possible to get things situated before arriving and treated us like family when we arrived. Thanks for everything and we will be back when the weather warms up!!! DO BUSINESS WITH DISTRICT HD!
Ive been all over the US collecting poker chips from each respective dealership. Never had a bad experience until I came to District. Upon entering the dealership, I spotted the poker chips next to a register. Stacy yelled across the show room to tell he no one was at that register (duh). I told her I was getting a poker chip. She again told me there was no one at that register. I know that, I asked her if she was messing with me, trying to joke around (haha) but she didnt blink. Stone cold serious. I asked if they had the chips at another register. No. So whats the problem here? I go to the only open register where the customer in front of me is having an issue with his card payment. After waiting for over 10mins I asked if I could just pay cash (no change needed) so I could be on my way. Stacy again told me to go to the open register, she couldnt help me. What a joke. Worst dealership ever been to period
So far, everybody Ive met that works here is attentive and helpful!
Great service. Could not be happier with the deal I got. Justin was very helpful and walked me through every step of the way. Great rate he gave me with quick and fast paperwork!
I went twice, and was very excited to buy my dream Ducati. Unfortunately, I had to wait a long time just for simple steps in the buying process both times.. after a total of about 7 hours over two weekends with no test ride and a bike that wasnt inspected yet despite having an appointment to buy it, they messed up by trying to charge me a fee that didnt apply to the bike I was buying in addition to the fact that they werent negotiable on the price like the salesman suggested they would be. I originally gave them 1 star but the GM personally reached out over the phone, apologized for the misunderstanding, and offered me a better deal. I really appreciated that and the people there do seem nice in general if a little overwhelmed due to slight lack of employees.
Called this location just moments ago only to have the phone answered by a women that said God damn it and hung up the phone. I called back immediately and the phone rang approximately 25 times before I hung up. I figured third time is a charm and called again. A woman answered and I said I would like to speak to someone in your Parts Department and she said, sure hold on. I held for approximately 4 minutes when she returned to the line to tell me that Larry was still with a customer and asked if i wanted to call back or leave a message. I said I would leave my name and number and if I didnt hear back from him after a bit, I would try calling another Harley store. Her response.......you should try another store, I would try the one in Frederick! There a valued employee! I plan to call Old Glory in Laurel! It appears District is not looking for any business. WOW
My Wife and I went in to look at a used 2017 Harley Davidson FLHTK, the price was better than any I found within 100 miles of where I live first off. Upon arriving at the shop, I was immediately greeted by name, my wife and I was given a tour of the shopWent for a test ride with John, he wasnt real conservative which I appreciate when doing a test ride. Rather than do a name by name run down here, the experience from start to finish was excellent, from the online experience throughout the purchase I met everyone at District and would generally say, if youve had an issue with the service here, it might be worth a look in the mirror, they are truely awesome people that ride, thanks.
Excellent service to the whole team! Justin D in finance is amazing, we were on the edge at first but he brought us in his office and made us feel at home hook me up on there incredible VIP package for unlimited service. Great rate wonderful bike thank you Justin!
Justin is a freaking Rockstar!!!
The sales person was such a gem. However the GSM, dont have much nice to say. I will leave it at that. Minus 4 starts for the attitude by the GSM.
As far as dealerships go these guys have decent prices and good prices. Service is pretty quick, too. They do lots of events and group rides with free food, drinks, and prizes. Great company.
I purchased a used BMW K1600GT back in August with the extended warranty and pre-paid maintenance. I almost never do this but due to expensive costs of owning a BMW I thought it would be worth it, man was I right. Ive been extremely happy with the service and no hassles or costs to me for regular maintenance or warranty work. The dealer even provided a loaner for 3 days at no cost. Not only that but it was a New BMW K1600! Ive never had this type of loyalty from a dealer After the sale.
Excellent customer service, excellent products.I am a new rider, shopping for my first helmet. Ive been to four stores by now, this being my fifth. This is the first and only store to have had someone greet me and assist me with my purchase. The staff was knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and patient - they spent a lot of time with me, answered all of my questions, and gave me full peace of mind for my purchase. Great group of people working at this store and a good community. Worth every penny and worth my time. Thanks for everything Chris and the rest of the staff!
Terrible experience. Called Aaron at District Harley on a Saturday regarding a bike they had featured online in stock. Aaron confirmed the bike. On Sunday I drove 90 MINUTES to come see this bike...turns out the bike WAS NOT at this shop and was at their sister shop. The owner then informed me they would have the bike ready for me when I could return on Thursday. Aaron called me Wednesday to inform me the bike would be there NO LATER than 3 on Thursday. Called Thursday at 3pm and the bike was still not there. I ended up driving to a different Harley that was easier to work with (Chesapeake Harley). Aaron messaged me then on Friday to inform me that the bike was FINALLY in stock. I informed him I purchased a bike from elsewhere and he proceeded to text me about ME WASTING HIS TIME?!?!? I wasted his time?!?! He wasted hours of my time for almost a week and he has the nerve to tell me I wasted his time? Completely unprofessional and rude. I used to take my Ducati here for service and now I will be sure to not only not take my Ducati here for service but I will also refrain from taking my new Harley here. I plan to inform every Harley owner I know to avoid this rude and unprofessional dealership. If you want good service go to a different dealer.
Sam was a great salesman who made sure I was fully informed on the features of the bike. He stayed with me through the whole process and answered all my motorcycle questions. Really great customer service.
Im never going back to this place; would not recommend.I call prior to coming to ask about a used bike and to see if it was available for test ride that day before I take the 1 hour ride over to District HD. They explain that they wont have enough time before close for NYE. I say thats okay and that I want to schedule a test ride 2 days from now. They call me back 30 mins later and say that theyll talk to the general manager to keep the place open if Id like to come by for the test ride today. I tell them that I dont want to hold anyone up right before a holiday. They say its okay so I take them up on their offer.Heres the kicker. I ride 1 hour over there, waited 30-45 minutes to talk to sales only for the general manager to tell me that: 1. the bike has not been inspected yet (so its not ready for test rides), 2. that they are closing up for the day, and 3. that he is unaware of any word from the person I talked with over the phone. Told them what the sales guy told me over the phone. They try explaining that they would be breaking the rules if they let me try riding it today and that its a holiday, so it makes no sense to keep the place open for longer -- despite what they told me over the phone before my long ride over to District HD.The general folks here seem nice, but they really need to listen to what theyre saying before they completely waste your time here.
Very good store been coming here for years. Guys do good work. Found service fair and honest.
This place is a joke! First, it is a pretty awkward store to begin with. There are like three different motorcycle dealerships all attached together. I am not sure if they are all owned by the same person, if the owner is confused, or if they do not want to attach themselves to one brand. Anyways, I digress. When I entered this place on a Saturday morning, you could tell none of the employees wanted or cared to be there. We were not greeted or acknowledged by anyone there. The motorclothes section is upstairs. It is narrow up there because it is not really a second floor, but more of a wrap around balcony. Odd. Needless to say, there wasnt anyone working upstairs that could answer any questions or ring up our purchases. We went downstairs and found a girl sitting at what looked like a help or service desk and she just told us no one was working there. She directed us to pay for our stuff at the service counter, which was unmanned. There were a few other unmotivated people in offices and one guy was must have been the salesman. Not one person there ever said hi or even acknowledged our presence. Do they not realize there are plenty of other dealerships that welcome new business and treat people how theyd like to be treated? Have they forgotten that the customer is why they have a job?The lack of motivation, customer service, and complacency is not only tolerated, but showed me a glimpse of management. Leadership comes from the top down, and obviously customer service is not a focus here. Save your money and go to other nearby dealers who will be happy youre there. District Harley Davidson employees seem to be bothered with customers being in their store.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Me and my husband Matt checked the website out. Got in touch and we stopped in to see V and Dino. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed, and felt as if we knew the guys our whole life. We walked in on a budget with a trade and the guys totally crunched numbers on booths end, walked so hard for hours and got us exactly where we needed to be. I will forever be greatful for the guys at District Harley and will forever pass their names forward!!! OUTSTANDING GUYS, You are the reason our dream come true! ROCK ON!
I recently Called Battley Cycles as well as Old Glory Harley and asked if they were negotiable on the extended warranty for my Harley. Kelly said she cannot give me the price over the phone but to come in and she would work with me. I called Old Glory and they gave me a price which was good. So not to waste my time or Battley Cycles in Gaithersburg MD going in to see Kelly, I called Kelly back and asked if they can do at least 100.00 better than I was quoted. She said she could do it 11.00 less than the other dealer offered because it was the same discount they give to Police. I am so appalled and insulted with Battley Cycles for stating they give Police discounts over regular or good customers, I would never buy anything from them. She pointed out, Police risk there lives, Hog wash! If more of them got killed, you would not see as many joining but riding around in a car with AC all day is a lazy mans or womans job. By the time they get to a robbery, its over and when they pull someone over for speeding etc, after a minute you will soon see 5 more police cars there. Every place I have worked, theres always a cop asking if they give them a discount. Most police are on the take in some way or another and have there hand out, but all they do is harass people, steal and are professional liars. I am not supporting a prejudicial company like Battley and recommend people who need Harley parts go online and get 20% off rather than deal with a company who only supports Police and not good customers like you. I also would like to add, it is police department policy that, Police are NOT allowed to accept gratuities or ask for discounts as an officer.
Great shop! Have been there many times for parts and assecories over the years, only recently bought a new bike there. The service is excellent and not dependent on size of purchase. Highly recommend...
Great place to buy a Harley!! From Bobby, Paul, Daniel and Justin in financing. Very knowledgeable, professional and are willing to help meet you at your needs. Will refer everybody I know that wants to buy a Harley, go see folks at District Harley!! More than a dealership, they become family!! Jayson
Motor Clothes Manager/ Bridget was awesome!!! When I buy apparel again, will definitely be with the team at this location. There customer service is genuine and cordial. Thank you guys!-David
There is something fishy going on at district Harley. I bought a 2018 iron sportster (used) everything went well, got to ride my bike the same day with temporary tags. Now when you buy a bike/car from an authorized dealership it comes Maryland inspected, Per usual You will see your tags 4-6 weeks. I’ve waited past 6 weeks and did not received no phone calls or no tags in the mail. So I called district Harley to see if my tags came in, a lady answered the phone & I asked her about my tags. She looked up my name and no tags... I told her its been 7 weeks and my tags are expired... the lady asked if I turned in my inspection paper??... now that threw me off because from what I was told my bike comes Maryland inspected I just had to wait for my tags. She told me go get it inspected and we will reimburse you for the inspection..The next day I went to my local inspection station to get my bike inspected..and guess what?... the bike failed... I bought my bike the way it was from an authorized dealership thinking my bike will pass with no problems. I took my bike to district Harley & talked to the manger. The manger there was extremely rude and had no communication at all. Now I have to sign a weaver saying I bought the bike stock after they pass the inspection for me?? Ummm no it’s a 10,000 bike. I’m not signing nothing. My bike is illegal to ride in the state of Maryland. And you district Harley sold me an illegal bike. I want a new bike that will past inspection or you will be hearing from my lawyer, or I just want my money back and I’ll go else where. This is ridiculous and this not how you do business!!!
I will not go back to this place. I needed help with some leather bags for my bike. I was completely ignored by everyone in the place. This has happened before since the new owners took it over. There are too many other customer friendly harley dealers around to be subjected to this treatment. I will NEVER be going back to District Harley-Davidson
This is a very special place for me and my family. In February 2015 my adult son was diagnosed with leukemia. I worked on numerous ways to help raise money for his family; one of which, was to put together a benefit poker run. I approached Big John Hardison at the dealership, to see if they would help me put this together, they not only said yes the whole dealership jumped in with both feet. They assisted me with the know how of how to get the sponsors, the gift donations, and of course the riders. We had a great and very successful event, raising over $6,000 in one day. This could never have been done without all the guys and gals of Battley stepping up to lend my family a hand.I have had my bike serviced with them, and I highly recommend you work with Ron in the service department, as his word is gold. I cant leave out the personable folks in the sales department, as they have been assisting me and a friend with upgrading our rides real soon. After being a customer for many years, I can clearly see why this business just keeps growing. I cant recommend a better place to work with, when it comes to any of your motorcycle needs.
Great people.. Great place to work 😎
These guys and gals have done good by me and my panigale. they also have good rides with friendly people and they throw in some food and coffee beforehand which will keep me coming back to service my bike here. I didnt buy my bike here because I didnt know about them, but now that I do, I will buy future bikes here simply because of the customer service and family like nature of the rides. you feel like part of the crew here.
I was treated with respect. Everyone was helpful and kind. I truly enjoyed my experience and feel comfortable with my purchase. Knowledgeable people with a heart of gold.
I recently took a trip to the DC area on my BMW motorcycle. On the second day, my bike wouldnt start so a friend suggested that I call Battley BMW. They promptly picked up my bike and brought it right into the shop. Before I finished the paperwork, the mechanic Sean had diagnosed the problem, removed and tested the defective starter motor, and ordered a replacement. The entire process was orchestrated professionally and courteously by Tom, the dealership manager.Despite being an out of town stranger, I was treated as if they knew me for years!!! And, while waiting for the repairs to be done, everyone with whom I dealt was well-informed and very helpful. What could have been a frightening and expensive nightmare (breaking down far from home), turned out to be a reassuringly professional and constructive experience. My bike is now back in perfect working order and I know that when I am ready to buy my next bike, I will simply take a train down from NY and ride the new one home. The entire Battley team was GREAT!!! Thank you all.Marvin
Awesome place. I own dirtbikes which are tubed so I constantly keep popping them this store has the lowest prices for miles around and I even got 2 bucks off my 7 dollar tube because they took 5 minutes to find it. Great place
Clean shop with helpful staff, but they were out of stock on most of the parts I was looking for.
Customer service...forget about it. Went in during the week in work clothes got amazing service and today in regular clothes; the guy acted like he was doing me a favor by the minimal help if that is what you call it I received. I needed a helmet and racing suit however, didnt even get to talking about that. Piss poor service...way to profile the customer. However, the young lady that tried to help after I was pushed off on her was great and even offered to follow up with me.
Need more full faces helmets and non-bike branded merch. But staff is amazingly helpful!
Bought a BMW F800GS here. Great experience start to finish. No high pressure sales techniques, just straightforward and honest. Highly recommend.
Stopped by for some HD local shirts. The two young ladies that helped me out were outstanding! They were very helpful, and very friendly. Thank you!
Always great to see Chopper Mike! He is always helpful and very cheerful. I bring all 7 bikes to Mike and know that the bikes are taken care of well and without being over charged as most places do.
Justin D hook me up had to re-sign but he took care of the papers and got me no payments till January 2019. Great service and great paperwork skills, very easy going and easy to talk to. Thank you!
Outstanding dealership! Extremely polite and helpful. Great selection of bikes and the service department is excellent. I highly recommend going here, new riders and experienced ones alike.
Great place w great customer service
Stopped in to check out the new layout. A lot of positive changes in the last couple of months, great display of bikes. Met the new husband / wife owners, really nice people.
Big mistake buying my BMW from this store. The place is a complete disaster when it comes to service. No one knows what the other person is doing, and no one can give you an informed answer as to what is happening with your bike. You call the service department and most of the time the call goes directly to voice-mail…don’t expect a call back.Brought my bike to have a set of lights installed on Sat, July 6th. They did not work on it until Wed, 10th. They claimed one of the parts was not working properly so I ordered one overnight. The part arrived the following day (Friday, July 12th) at noon, but no one on the shop could find it. Every time I called they assured me the part had not arrived although I had a tracking number. I went there on Saturday and pointed them to their PO Box, since the part was small and delivered by the USPS. The part had been there all along. Then the next problem… one of the ladies that work there had the only key to the PO Box with her and she was at home. She was not coming back until Saturday afternoon. Thus, the part was not retrieved until later that day and, obviously, they did not work on the bike. I called one of the managers yesterday (Monday) to see when the bike was going to be ready and he said that, because we missed the original appointment, due to the so-called faulty part, I had to wait another five days. The fact that the new part was sitting in their box for almost two days did not mean a thing. This is the most disjointed bunch I have ever encountered, and I am really surprised they are still in business. Some of the folks working there are fine people, but no one is driving the bus. If you are looking for a manager that will assist you…good luck - they change managers almost monthly. If you don’t mind your bike going into La La land, and you not knowing what the heck is going on, then come to this place. But if you are expecting any degree of service, logic, our empathy, save yourself a lot of aggravation and go somewhere else.
Bought my 2006 Ultra Classic from Battley, my first Harley. Only other bikes Id ever ridden were Yamahas 350cc or smaller. Salesman guided me through the process and got me on the right bike. Parts department is user-friendly and helpful; they provide advice on parts installation for do-it-yourself-ers. When I get my bike serviced, it always comes out riding like new; not bad for a bike with 45,000 miles on it.
I am very impressed with the staff. The sales people AS WELL AS the service department. Keep up the good work, people!
Best dealership in the area!! I would like to call out the service department in particular. Every time I have had issues with my motorcycles, service department is always going 10 steps forward to help me out in any possible way they can. Special thanks to Conway, Ron and Ramon for excellent service!! You have a customer for life.
Used to be very friendly and good customer service before, but not anymore..
Well, my second visit was weird. In the mood to get a motorcycle license and a bike, a harley, I went there. First visit was fine. The second I went to check another model. I asked questions and suddenly. I guess I missed something 🤣🤣🤣 the guy left me with for answer : I guess you will figure it out online...and no goodbye. The question was about the kit stage 4 to improve the performances of the bike, stage 4 made and install by harley... anyway the level of the weirdness, rudeness or whatever you will call that make me feel bizarre. I wont go there to buy the bike...I may go to Florida where a huge harley davidson store is owned by a family for years. I guessed their welcoming or costumer concerns will be more answered 😁😁😁
