Went here yesterday kinda late in the day. They recommend that we come back tomorrow so he had more time to get the phones up and going, plus teach us about the new phones my wife and I were getting. We went back today waited 30 minutes for our turn. He was still busy and had another guy take care of us. He ran and got our phones and accessories, charged us boxed everything up and said your all set. Ok, I asked him about setting up the phones. He told me that they dont do that anymore, and to take it home and use smart switch. Now I have 2 phones not activated and have no idea how to change that. Very bad customer service on Verizons part. Guess Ill have to call customer service tomorrow since today is Sunday. Ive never had this problem before. Have always left with my new phone up and running. Not all older people 60+ understand all the new technologies.
If I could I’d give zero stars. They don’t know what their doing. I bought a new phone so they went to transfer everything from my old phone( which was still working perfectly fine) to my new one. Left my phone there for 2 hours and when I came to pick them up nothing had transferred I lost all of my pictures, passwords, apps, and everything. Only thing they could save was my contacts. And they messed up my old phone so it wouldn’t even turn on. It only shows the apple logo and that’s it. They told me to go try to save everything from a computer but they obviously have never plugged a phone into a computer before because you have to be able to turn the phone on and enter your password before you can see anything. They basically gave me my new phone and old one and said figure it out yourself. They didn’t even give me the box that came with the new phone.
Had to wait a little bit. But they acknowledged us right away, and got to as soon as they could. Also seemed knowledgeable and very helpful.
Lots to choose from- when the shipment comes in. Not much for moto accessories and accessories are so expensive. The tech there is a hit or miss, if your lucky your tech will have some idea of what they are doing. Verizon wireless itself is great-love the unlimited hotspot 🤩
Best Verizon store, always very helpful and friendly. I worked with Rebel today who was fantastic and patient with me and my children. Highly recommend taking the time to drive to this Verizon location!
I made a special trip to town, just to go to Verizon. I appreciate the precautions taken for our current covid situation, but I don’t completely understand or agree with it. I was met at the door, which was fine. I only saw 2 workers (one behind the desk and the one that met me.) I was asked my needs which were I was having some data issues, wanting to know how to save things for upcoming changes and possibly look for a new phone. I was told they are by appointment only. It was a Friday and the earliest they could get me in was the following Monday afternoon. I questioned why I couldn’t be helped now when no one was there. Was told appointment would be coming. I commented on the store being huge and 2-3 customers could be helped easily with a safe 6 feet distance. My gut feeling is they just didn’t want to help me and would rather I go online. I prefer to have in person help. Seeing and listening is better for me. We have given this store a lot of business over there the last 15+ years. I’m very disappointed at their efforts.
Usually when I stop this place is so busy that it gets really annoying trying to get anything done. Apparently Sunday late afternoons are great times to go because there was only one other person in there!Update: I hate the new answering process, it makes it impossible to talk to a realperson at your local store. Im extremely ticked when I cant get a hold of a real person.Update: If you can get through to technical support, they are very helpful. Their answering process makes this very difficult, but after 2 trips to town (30 miles/each) to the local store its worth it. After 4 days of no internet, a tech from Texas figured out that the 1st time I went to this store the employee put the sim card in upside down! Ive been told the other location in town is much better to deal with but its not a corporate store so I had to go to this one.

I was very pleased with the friendly help I received. Megan was able to answer all of the questions I had about my new phone and I did not feel rushed like I have at other locations. I will definitely be back here in the future and appreciate Megan for being so patient and helping me out.
In a day and age where phones cost over $1,000 dollars you would think that the sales people would be happy to see you when you entered the building and would be over joyed that an actual person wants and needs help in making a huge smart phone purchase. My advice is if youre over the age of 50 dont even bother going in this place. Its clean but spars on products. I was told by a salesman to go online if I wanted information about Verizons data plans. Galaxy S9 sale LOST....
Great store ! I was switching phones and they worked together to resolve all the transfer issues even tho there was NO customer support access to Verizon !!!

Edhar was an amazing help. He helped me set my phone up because Im technology illiterate and could not figure it out. He was very patient. Both managers there, Jenelle and Yani were very helpful in informing me about the life time warranty on my screen protector and showed me how to register it. I will 100% be back to this store for everything.
Megan was a delight to work with. Her insight on the failure of the American trade system and Apple programming was exhilarating plus knowledgeable. She is a huge contribution to your company and fellow civilians.
Had to come in because my trainwreck of a daughter broke her phone again. Megan helped me out was very polite and knowledgeable without being pushy or annoying. She did a fantastic job. Only complaint is there were teenagers outside without masks on.

Nothing but thieves, I went here yesterday and paid $2245 to be sent messages today that my phones are going to be cut off, would not use this location or Verizon

Almost 2 hours in store setting up a phone
The representatives give false information on promotions on upgraded phone. She told fiancé that they were running a buy one get one free promotion. Then we got a bill for over $400. I’m just about ready to do away with service with Verizon because of this matter.

So 4 months ago went in to this store and was upgrading to the unlimited plan. Was told at the time that we got the hum device at no extra cost a month. Lie we now have been charge $20 a month for the device. Also after 14 days before our first bill even showed it they said we could return it. Four months later and I have caught that theyve been charging us for the device and that the only way we could get rid of it is if we paid it off$100. When I didnt want the damn thing anyways. We were offered it at no cost. Look at review from 5 months ago by j rod. They did the same thing to another person. All they want is a commission. Manager says I can only get rid of it if I pay it off. What a joke.e

Out of my last 3 visits Ive had one very good one. My last visit was terrible, the woman who waited on us was rude and not knowledgeable. We waited a long time to get waited on and she didnt seem to want to wait on us and it was a business account! More often than not you will wait long and get someone who is clueless.

I walk into the store and 3 employees hurry and put on a mask then run over and get within 4 of me and ask if I have a mask pathetic very disrespectful and cant fallow simple guidelines but expect it from other simple sheep
The wait was long! But they were very busy! I kept hearing talk from the employees like you can do it but u wont get paid for it which is something I didnt need to hear about after waiting for over an hour! But they did set up my phone quickly once it was my turn!
Stopped into the store because my storage was full. The young man explained iCloud Storage to me and helped me to upgrade my storage and device.

Will never ever step foot in that store again. The manager with the shaved head told me. I can pick out two phones that day for ten bucks each. Then tells me i can throw in the hum and a tablet at no cost. I said that is free as he then said yes it is. Low and behold he lied about all that. Then never once said anything about connection fees and didnt slow the data usage down whenclose to your limit. So low and behold got a huge bill that wasnt what he said I was getting. If you go their be careful because they are great talkers.

If you are not a techee...then you need to know your friendly, courteous staff member at your Verizon store. They can diagnosis your problem, fix it and get you on your way quickly and without making you feel silly for asking questions. They can make your phone visit painless and keep you updated on the latest and greatest communication devices.
Wonderful service, a little mix up as to when a sale ended but Im sure there going to go by what they told me before buying them and handle it entirely. Thanks for all your help guys.

Terrible they cant get the air pockets out of my screen protector. Been there twice and they said just deal with it. Thats bs to pay that kind of money to protect your phone and they cant even get it right.
Not sure what some of the bad reviews are about. I have been to the store many times over the last few years for upgrades, and I was always taken care of in a friendly and helpful manner. Theres nothing else to say. I received the kind of customer service that I would expect and nothing less.
They were unable to fix my issue..all the original staff that was there are gone with constantly new personal ..seems like they dont have the experience at all like original staff. Disappointing to me..I always like my go to person that definitely knew what he was doing. These people dont. My problem got resolved by getting a replacement phone ordered for me. The employee I was dealing with kept having to ask other staff for assistance.
Was tricked into adding insurance to a phone with promise that I could come back later and get newer model when it was in stock. When I went back to check if phone was in stock I was told that promotion had ended the day before. Also the representative seemed annoyed that I wanted to cancel the insurance even tho I was convinced to add it under false pretenses. In my opinion it is a scam to boost sales. If a phone is not in stock a different phone should be offered. Should not push a add on to a customer when you cant deliver the promised product.

It is so absolutely refreshing to experience the high quality of customer service that I encountered in a town as small as Galesburg. The staff know what theyre doing, they are such patient, respectful, helpful and genuinely good people. They had to put up with me through some account problems and then buying a new phone the next day and they were totally willing to help me with every step. Great location and very convenient in the biggest mall area in Galesburg. Thank you again Verizon!

Newly built store.Quite a bit of staff on-hand but this is a busy store.Expect to wait. A door greeter will take your name and someone helps you when they are available.
Like any cell phone place dishonest business practices and terrible/slow service. Will literally tell you its required to purchase things that arent required or you dont need. Wont offer you the best deal or tell you about them.. save yourself some time and headache and deal with Verizon directly online and over the phone.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. I have NEVER received good customer service from this Verizon store. I have never had my issues resolved from going in there. Seriously, I have no idea why Verizon doesnt yank this store from Galesburg. This is truly a horrible experience, and I will NEVER go there again.So, in conclusion, if you want a horrible experience with truly horrible customer service that makes you want to ram sharp pencils in your eyes, then by all means, go here, If not, please find somewhere else to take your Verizon issues.
