Ive been to this store a handful of times.But TODAY...👎🏽👎🏽I stood at the counter and waited to see how the owner (older guy) would handle a customer complaint. (Middle aged man came back stating something was missing from his bag. But after watching the video, the owner stated the man never purchased the item... It looked to me like he did, but I wasnt there the first time. 🤷)The customer purchased another of the same item he says was missing from the bag. As he was walking out, the owner continued to speak in a disrespectful, condensing, sarcastic manner. As the lady completed my order, I quietly told her No THANK YOU, ILL GET THESE ELSEWHERE. and I walked out also.I refuse to support ANY establishment that mistreats its paying customers.Not one time did I hear the customer get disrespectful towards the owner. He complained, but he wasnt aggressive or expressing anger, just frustrated that he had to return to the store in the heat.The owner was unnecessarily rude and nonchalant about his trifling behavior in front of other customers. I wasnt impressed by how he handled things. At the very least, he couldve told the man, if I made a mistake, Ill refund you through store credit. Instead, he was being a jerk.I see why many communities filled with people of color in the West stop patronizing Asian stores.Ive never witnessed this in Georgia.Be smart where you spend your money.Im going to Sallys.

I went to Solid Gold beauty supply store today and I did purchase a 1B short and sassy wig the customer service was very good because they didnt have another wig behind the counter in the package they sold me the one that I have the pictures of here on the page discounted at 10% which I greatly appreciate it again the service was great location was fantastic on Broadway and I will definitely go back

Decent store.. little more than Houston hair stores... Just make sure you check all glues and perms etc. Sometimes things may sit longer then Normal and you want to be sure you dont waste money. Overall only store on island and will do.

The owners of the store are always following you around very obviously assuming that you are going to steal it is very offensive and very rude they should invest in some cameras or better anti theft devices for the clothing and make up if they are so suspicious of everyone!… you walk in with a Burberry purse On your shoulder in your Sunday best simply wanting to purchase white eyeliner And the woman follows you around not 2 behind you its unfortunate that Maybelline does not make a white that stands out and you have to go to this hole in the wall where they treat you as if you really need to steal two dollar eyeliner! AS IF! #HowYouKnowYourOnGALVATRAZROFL...🤣🤣

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, rude. Accused me of stealing (as if I was one of those types) after police arrived(which I stood and waited for them to come) & checked my bags, me, and my purse found NOTHING. They didnt even apologize! (I demanded a refund on my $80 purchase) and Ive never shopped their again.

If I could give this store a negative 5 stars I would. I am a beautician and come to this store at least four times a week and they have nervse enough to accuse me of stealing, and threaten to call the police . I had to dump out my purse phone holder just to prove to them that I was not stealingstea then had nerves enough to tell me that I was the problem .The problem is they are racist,you set your business up in a black community to get our money yet think all black people are thieves. Ive seen them accused someone of stealing at least 7 times but never thought I could happen to me & its ridiculous. Anything I want out that store I can buy. I will not be returning
