Found this place on Google and from the reviews I decided to stop in. Definitely had a good selection of cigars. The staff was friendly and helpful. Per the reviews and pictures I was really looking forward to enjoying a cigar on the deck while enjoying a good cigar. Unfortunately for me this is a BYOB place. Somehow I missed this while reading about this place. Not a show stopper! Would recommend this place.

One of the best parts of our trip! Everyone we talked to there was beyond friendly. The tobacconist there was awesome! Great selection. And if that wasnt enough, the patio was beyond spectacular!!! Highly recommend this place!

The owner was a very nice and respectful gentleman. Answered all our questions with a smile and made very good suggestions about a cigar that my sister grown to love. The place is clean and you can sit outdoors in the back and watch the waves.

Great little lounge with a nice selection. Dont miss out on sunsets on the patio. Knowledgeable owner with a lot of experience in the industry and has created a friendly atmosphere for vacationers and locals alike. Definitely one of my top spots to relax on the island.

My husband, myself and a friend of ours visited Galveston Island for the first time this month and Galveston Island Cigar Lounge was definitely one of our favorite parts of our trip! Great humidor, great cigars and great atmosphere! We met many amazing people during our time spent here! We cant wait to come back!

This place has seen tremendous upgrades and overall a better establishment from past days. Awesome covered deck over the water, helpful staff. We had a relaxing smoke on the porch, will definitely make this a monthly visit. If you and the boys looking for a pre game spot byob, look no further for a stogie on the island

This place was fantastic!! The store was the perfect atmosphere and just absolutely welcoming. I came in and was greeted immediately in the most kindest manner. As if I was family. I was allowed to shop with no rush or pressure. I was able to take it all in an enjoy just the visuals, inhale the wonders of what this cigar shop truly was. Great conversation with the owner and he invited me to see the dock behind the store, where you could sit outside, enjoy a cigar and be part of the beautiful ocean. I love this store and when I return to Galveston, I will be returning to this shop.

The lounge is great! The new owner have done a complete make over and it looks great. It have a very nice and welcoming feel from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. They have a nice selection of cigars to choose from. If your not to sure what you want to smoke the staff is very knowledgeable about their products. There is a back deck that you can sit out on as well that has a nice view of the bay and can watch the beautiful sunset. We drive 21/2 hours to just visit this place. I highly recommend!

This is my new favorite cigar lounge. Alan and the guys are very cordial, the selection of cigars is primo and the atmosphere, in this newly remodeled lounge, is second to none on the island or even in the south Galveston region. The best kept secret though is the view. There is not another cigar shop within a hundred miles that has a sunset view, over the water, from the back deck, as Galveston Island Cigar Lounge does. Don’t confuse this with the old lounge at the same location, these are new owners, a newly remodeled lounge, and a new stick selection. If you are anywhere near Galveston Island, you gotta stop by and say hi to Alan...oh and the coffee options are a nice touch.

This place is FANTASTIC! A great venue on the water to enjoy a quality cigar, a sunset, and fellow cigar smokers. The staff is VERY WELL VERSED in cigars and can suggest a great cigar based on your tastes. If you are in Galveston and you enjoy quality cigars, this place is a DEFINITE MUST GO TO!

I stopped in here today. They were just finishing up construction. This is going to be a really, really nice cigar lounge! The owners walked me around the property. They have a huge humidor with a great cigar selection. The lounge is nicely appointed and very comfortable. You can tell it was designed by a professional designer. The deck in the back is amazing and has unbelievable water views. I stopped in to this lounge when the previous owners had it and, wow, the new guys blew it out of this world! Go check it out!

Best cigar shop on the island! Best selection too. The back deck overlooking Offats Bayou is gorgeous and the atmosphere is great and immensely better than how the shop used to be under the previous owner. A few too many of the blah big name brands but people like them for some reason so if thats your thing, here you go.
