Great shopping experience today at the Mattress Firm Northgate store on State and Glenwood in Boise. Eric the sales associate did a great job educating us about the right bed for our needs. Knowledgeable, friendly and not any sort of hard sell. Although we did not purchase a bed today, we definitely know where to go when we are ready to buy in the coming months. Did buy two amazing memory foam cooling pillows that we cant wait to try! Good prices on good quality beds.

I walked into Mattress Firm confused and frustrated after spending hours online comparing mattresses and was greeted by Jeremy. He answered all my questions and was patient while I tried out several mattresses and found the perfect fit for me!

Patricia Crum at the Glenwood/State Street location is the best! She got us a great deal and was very nice and easy to work with. She even honored a price on a more expensive item when the cheaper item was not available.

Really disappointed and frustrated. When we first arrived on 10/13/2020 a gentleman greeted us right of the back which was great. (there was also a female at the desk who never acknowledged any presence and never once took her eyes off of her phone in her hand the entire time we were there)but back to the real reason for this review: We let the gentleman know we were looking to pick up same day due to the fact that the mattress was for our 80 year old grandmother who really needed a new replacement. unfortunately they were out of stock of many of the mattresses including the one we wanted to buy. we asked if there was any of the surrounding locations that had any in stock and was told no but that if we placed the order that day that we would be able to pick up the mattress from the wear house 1st thing on Saturday 10/17/2020. Well here we are today, we called the wear house like we were instructed to do to make sure the mattress was there and it was. But we were informed that even though it is there and the information we were given said we would be able to pick up any time between 9:30-6:00 we cannot pick it up because the wear house is closed for the weekend to replace the flooring. NO ONE TOLD US THIS AT ANY POINT WE WERE TOLD WE COULD GET IT RIGHT AWAY SATURDAY. I understand things happen and had it been something that was not planned (like a power outage or some other uncontrollable) i would understand. but the floor has been planned to be replaced and they knew it would be closed. We were told by the wear house worker we could pick it up at earliest Monday 10/19 but the issue we have is me and my husband both work the hours the wear house is open, so we either have to find a way and hope we can get off of work to pick this up during the week or my 80 year old grandma will have to wait another week on top of the almost week she has already waited just for us to pick this up. I am so frustrated and beyond irritated that we let them know how important it was for us to get this quickly and this is how our 1st shopping experience with Mattress firm has gone.

My experience today while shopping and eventually purchasing a mattresswas a very positive one. Noah, the salesman, was extremely professionaland helpful in assisting me in narrowing down my choices. Hes a very pleasant young man and an asset to your company.

We went in after researching adjustable bed frames and split Cal King matresses for hours upon end. Thad, our sales rep, was the most knowledgeable person I have ever spoken to about a bed. He was like a tenured professor who knew and could explain everything about the frames, beds, industry etc... Not only did we come away with a great bed but a new found appreciation for Zero Gravity, massage and how they affect the physiology of our bodies. And I can honestly say now, Zero gravity not only makes you feel lighter, but it makes you look slimmer too, when your sleeping soundly and having sweet dreams.

Id put a 4.75, rarely do I give a 5 star rating.My hubby and I are moving to a new home and decided to also move from a Full sized bed to a Queen.We shopped close to home.The main downside of the store is its location and parking; which is a small lot thats difficult to enter and exit. The only way in is right off of Glenwood heading north; you must also exit onto Glenwood by turning right. If you the want to go south, you must turn around in a nearby parking lot. Okay, enough about parking.We made 2 visits, one to sample, then to buy. We were greeted immediately both times even though they were with other customers. We felt very welcomed. We then got to take their quiz to see what kind of bed fits our bodies and sleep styles. The first salesman took our names and filed the results so the next salesperson could start where we left off. Within 20 minutes we narrowed down our choices to one bed. It took longer to finish the purchase and set up the delivery date.We now have 4 months to test drive the bed. There would be some cost to us if we return the bed.Im expecting to sleep on that bed for at least 15 years.

I was on the search for a good mattress since a recent move had me tossing out my old one. The sales woman who helped me was sincere and willing to go above and beyond to help me.. even by offering one of nicest feeling mattresses Ive tried in a long time at little, nearly no commission. *(Ive had back surgery). That cost even, was still just out of my budget perimeters since I still had other new home items to purchase. I was so taken by just how nice my inquiries were handled and how patient she was. Complete disorganization after purchase. The wrong bed frame was ordered by Mattress Firm. The installer told me to contract the store! The store has the part available, they want me to pick up the part and install it! The adjustable base has sharp pointed corners. Terrible warranty on adjustable base, 1 year parts NO labor coverage at all.

Samantha is AMAZING! She stayed late with us. Spent time with us being indecisive and she was patient. She knew so much about everything. Every question I had, she knew a knowledgeable answer. She went out of her way for us. She found out we’ve been sleeping on the couch because our bed kills our backs and she was so excited for us when came to a decision, like she was just invested as we were. She made the process quick and easy and I will always go to see her!

So I only went into the store to talk to the representative about a mattress online. After meeting Sharon, the representative there for the day, she was so awesome to talk to and ended up helping me above and beyond her job. I ended up buying a mattress there in the store that was over my original budget but with such great service I was happy to spend more. Very wonderful experience and will definitely be sending everyone I know to her and the company for now on

Del greeted us and quickly explained the colors coding we would find on the mattresses. He made himself available for questions but didn’t follows us everywhere. When we narrowed down our choices, he explained the differences in detail. Overall a great stress free purchase. We are scheduled to have the mattress delivered this Saturday.

Went in last minute to basically sit on some beds and see what they were all about and left with a brand new king with adjustable base for a great price. Great customer service throughout the entire shopping experience, never felt pressured or upsold at any point. If we ever need another bed this will be our only stop.

So I bought a mattress in December..We bought another last week..It said free adjustable base..The kid was trying to up sell me and said it wouldnt work with mine...When we bought another they said it would...I was angry..He no longer works there.. You made it right and I will get it tomorrow.

Mattress is great!Customer service not so great! I was assured by the store manager Spencer my mattress would be wrapped when I picked it up due to the fact that I was traveling 60 miles. However, when I arrived the mattress was not wrapped and the sales clerk didn’t know which mattress and box springs were mine. I was forced to go to U-Haul and purchase mattress bags and wrapped and loaded my own mattresses after an hour of wasted time. I will never buy another mattress from this company :(

Pretty much knew what I wanted. Wendy assisted me in trying out mattres-laying down on it and gilving me into on how it was constructed. Told me it wasnt in stock right now and wouldnt be until the first of year, was ok with that. Proceeded to buy.

The employees were informative and helpful and I liked the free delivery. Unfortunately I hated the mattress from the first night I slept on it. Not comfortable and retains body heat like no other mattress Ive slept on. Normally I can sleep anywhere with no issues but this mattress keeps me awake half the night and then overheats me when I finally fall asleep. But to return it I have to first KEEP it for 30 day and then pay $145 for cleaning fee which is only needed because they insist I keep it a month, that is almost half of what I paid for it = I pay half as much more to return it or exchange it for a mattress worth the same as the last mattress

I have had superior service despite a small hiccup I got a bit uptight about. They are truly there to provide great customer service. Thank you Riley in Boise. Ordering online is a breeze.

On our first visit he was working with another couple, and respectfully excused himself from them, got us started in the right direction. When he finished up with them, they shared their very positive experience with us. Spencer explained in a very professional manner how to shop for mattresses. He explained the policies and the products offered by the competition both online and the box stores.We had already narrowed our choices and went with Spencers, recommended options. The bed is set to be delivered tomorrow and this is 2 days after purchase. We highly recommend this store.

I have purchased two beds from this store.Both beds are mediocre at best.The worst part is that the dont stand behind the products they sell. The $100 pillow they sold me started falling apart in less than a year and they say that there is no warranty on it.They try to get you to sign up for a stupid credit card through a terrible company.Stay away if you have any other options.
