Ive had the oil changed in my car here 2 times and both times they have far exceeded my expectations. The service techs are extremely friendly and nice and have taken good care of me and my car, this last time they even vacuumed out the floorboards for me as there were some rocks that my shoes had tracked in around the floormats. That was really nice because I wasnt expecting to open the door to a clean car as it was dirty when I dropped it off!

All the vehicles I’ve bought in the last 20 yrs have been at Lewis, always professional, helpful and willing to make the best deal possible.

Drove 5.5 hrs to pick up vehicle, left very early in the morning because I needed to be back home for scheduled appointment. Spent over 2 hrs in dealership trying to get paperwork done. Very unorganized. Had to wait for check to be signed and that took quite a while. Also would not accept my educator discount which was kind of disappointing since its offered online.

They did more than any one else in town would do for us very pleased with them.

The best part was I didnt have to go to the dealership. I told them what I wanted and they delivered it to my office.

Great service, could have done a little better on negotiating but I think thats just the market right now.

Trevor and Mike took care of everything with getting us our new Escalade from ordering to delivery. I only invested maybe 20 minutes in the whole transaction. I never even had to leave my office in Hugoton. A couple of quick phone calls to get the new one ordered. When the Escalade came in Trevor drove down with the new car and picked up the old, I signed the few needed documents and we were done.

This place lost a sale today. saw a potential car I was interested in and when talking to salesman he wouldn’t even let me test drive it. his words, “i don’t do free test drives.” so what?? i gotta pay?? just because I’m 21 and looking young doesn’t mean I have any less then someone older than me would. quit doubting! and discriminating! i paid off a $20,000 car loan in 3 years by myself! i know what i’m doing, maybe you should get some people who do too!!

My son called an set up an appt for a recall on my 2013 Eqinox they gave him the time for me to be there, so I showed up for the appt an they put my car in the shop an aprox 40 minutes later came out an said they hadnt ordered the part. My son called them an asked why they had let a 70 yr show up for something that wasnt even ordered. So I left an they were supposed to order the part an that has been several weeks ago and no one has called an set up new appt.

It was a great experience, i was elated and informed at all times.

My wife and I purchased a vehicle from them June of 2020. The paperwork and sale took a total of 3 hours. They told us that before they put a vehicle out on their lot, that they do a thorough Mechanical check of the vehicle. Once we got it home I was able to jack the vehicle up and do an inspection on it. Almost all the rear bushings were shot and the brakes had been shot long enough that they had been wearing into the rotors, And the tires needed an alignment. I called them to see if there was anything they could do since they told us that they check everything over and guarantee satisfaction and they won’t even help pay for parts or labor. WONT EVER GO BACK

Drove 4 hours to take a look at a vehicle. Adrian was first class with the entire process and in my opinion did everything he could respectfully. I enjoyed working with him. Ive previously never spoken to a manager at a dealership that didnt in someway act overbearing. Whitney was the first Ive ever dealt with was the polar opposite. I would gladly do business with him again. When it comes to the finance department, my previous experience has yet again been unfavorable and seemingly another department that tries to wear you out. Milt was yet another exception and I enjoyed getting to know him personally. I told these three men that Id gladly do business with them again and am glad I chose to travel to Garden City. Im close to a myriad of metropolitan areas that had far greater numbers of vehicles available to view, yet something told me to head to Garden City. I dont regret that decision. If you must buy here go ahead. But just watch the sales people.Honestly I think I was a little harsh, thus far we have been happy with the service we received. It may be a good idea to keep up with the current promos so you dont get peoples hope up. Obviously were there to spend money. Once you get a whiff of saving it, only to have it swooped away is a real bummer.

I really enjoyed coming back here, traded in my pick up for something a little more sensible and I was in and out. We drove from Colorado 4.5 hours to see a vehicle that they were selling here. The sales person greeted us and was very friendly and very up front and honest about the vehicles issues and details. We were very pleased with how we were treated and didnt have to hackle prices, the truck was already fairly priced. This was a great experience, and as a female, I wasnt belittled or treated lesser than my husband. (I also know about vehicles and can tell when this happens 😉 its interesting) but I didnt have to worry about it here.

Woke up Saturday morning with a flat on a pickup I had purchased at Lewis a few months before. I was able to take it in and get it fixed that same morning. Tire had picked up a screw and they were able to patch it - no charge. Very friendly service and sales staff. So far Ive only had a good experience at this Lewis store.

Purchased a 2013 vehicle from Lewis Motor the last of August 2019. After having the vehicle for less than 24 hours my husband went to exchange front tags from the Lewis tag to a different one and noticed that the front bumper cover was very loose. I took the vehicle back to Lewis the next morning and at first the acted like it was something that we did and then finally stated that they would schedule it in to repair. I took it in a couple of days later for what they said would take a day or two. 2 weeks later, after 2 weeks of me going to their shop everyother day, they finally said it was fixed....fast forward about 4 months and the bumper cover is falling off again. I took it to a very reputable body shop in town and they informed me that it was not fixed at all and that the bracket was broke and rusted so this means that Lewis Motor did nothing to my vehicle for the 2 weeks that they had it except replace a couple of plastic clips. I was also informed that the lower air shield was not on the vehicle and both inner fender skirts on the front are also missing...as is the fog lamp and pigtail. So my vehicle is going into the body shop to get properly repaired and it will 700.00 to get it fixed to the way that Lewis Motors assured me was done. Now we know why when some people talk about Lewis Motors, they say Screw-us Motors. Please beware if you purchase from here.

2010 Kia Optima LXIndications: My vehicle had a loud, broken muffler sound. Carbon monoxide fumes entered the cabin. Slight loss of pickup, or torque, and increase in gas usage.I came into Lewis about a week or two ago to get a diagnostic on my car. Service and Part director, Jordan Johnston, ordered a diagnostic done on my vehicle by Henry, the mechanic.Diagnosis: Exhaust manifold needs replaced.Jordan ordered the part, including gaskets.This past Monday, I take my car in to get fixed. Turns out there was a crack in the catalytic converter. Henry skillfully broke off the very rusted gaskets, welded the catalytic converter and installed new gaskets.Lo and behold, under Jordans supervision, Henry saved me about $200 on parts, minus the gaskets, and all I had to pay for was mainly labor costs and fees. And he finished in such a TIMELY manner.Thank you Henry for saving me money and time, and Jordan for exceeding expectations on customer service. I dont trust mechanics very easily at all. Jordan made me feel like I could trust him. So thank you.I look forward to bringing more business to Jordan Johnston at Lewis Chevrolet Cadillac.

I called today for an oil change, at fist the very nice lady in the phone said they couldnt but they had openings in a few days, I told her it was an emergency and said thank you anyways but then she told me to wait and see if there was anyway they could fit me in. To my relief they fit me in! I appreciate so much! Its hard to find businesses to go out of their way for customers and I just wanted to say thank you very much!

Have a third party inspect your vehicle prior to purchase!I was interested in a certified pre-owed vehicle on their lot. The first representative named Joe was patient, informative, and most importantly, he seemed to care about my needs. However, my experience went completely downhill when I was transferred to an extremely pushy and aggressive representative named William Kerschen. Within minutes I was being pressured into a sale without even inspecting the vehicle! I went with my instinct and asked to have the vehicle delivered to me if they wanted my sale now (and boy was I glad!). This is only SOME of the damage I noticed upon a quick inspection. Keep in mind, William was pressuring me to purchase this vehicle online (A) before having a professional inspect it and (B) knowing very well the condition of the vehicle. What makes this even scenario even more deplorable was that they refused to knock-off $500 bucks off the sale (this is before I even knew about the damage!! ) quoting below market price. Take my advise and take your business elsewhere, I sure did.

Lewis motors has slowly regain its reputation from 20 years ago when all they cared was to make a sale amd not make a customer. They have bounced back with good customer experience. They still need to be more competitive with prices not only local but with big city competition. Garden City would retain a lot of its customers that drive to Denver, Wichita, Kansas City to buy a car if they would focus more on volume sales.

Brought my Cruze in to have the turbo replaced and 2 weeks later it’s still in the shop waiting for parts! Spoke with service guys and they said they had to replace the turbo a bunch on the Cruze. So why would you not keep that in your inventory? Very furious with the service department. On top of that got in touch with the General manager and he said he would call me back. It’s been 3 days and haven’t heard anything from him. Overall it’s been a terrible experience!UPDATE: Got my car back 2 weeks later and told service department it had a oil leak on the side of the motor. Obviously didn’t care about just cleaned it up and said it was good to go. Drove it 60 miles and it was covered in oil again! Going to give them a last chance and then I’ll take it Dodge city!!
