Great staff, fun, knowledgeable, professional and most important to me, they were gamers. The girl working there was super helpful (I wish I could remember her name). There was an employee being trained when I walked in and he was also super cool and nice.I highly recommend this GameSpot.Its nice being treated like a fellow gamer and not just a customer and they nailed it!

Pretty great game store. Some items are overpriced but I wasnt surprised. If employee doesnt care for the game you want then they show they dont really want to help. Thats my only complaint really.

If I could give the store more than a 5 star rating I would. I went in 4/26/21 to purchase a Nintendo Switch after having no luck finding one all day and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Hunter was very polite, respectful, and just had all the answers to my every question. If you don’t know what customer service is supposed to be like you could definitely learn a thing or two from him. I not only received superb customer service but I also didn’t leave unsatisfied. He helped me sign up for a GameStop Membership for the year, helped me order my Nintendo Switch (The exact one I wanted) and also made me smile which is one little thing that can make someone’s day go from 0-100 in a heartbeat. I would definitely recommend this store for any gamer needs. My rating from 1-100 is definitely infinite.

Drove from Lincolnton to get something they had in the store. Upon arrival and picking out the item. We were informed by the manager that a staff member had taken the key they needed to open the cabinet home. What a waste of time and gas.

Jonathan helped me a lot and was straight up with me about what I needed to do and recommended a lot of things and I appreciate it a lot. For example: we (me and my bf) went to a different gamestop the other day and purchased a used game. We went home to insert the disk and it was not working at all. Yes we tried everything. We came to this one to see if we could get a refund and he was super nice about it and was confused why the other GameStop even sold us the game because there was a big scratch on it. His attitude was awesome and gave us great customer service. Good sales guy. Needs to start selling cars lol.

Good selection of gaming consoles & and games. Bought a used Xbox One controller and the guys were very helpful with the warranty and what not. Ill go back when necessary :-)

They were really nice, and told me about all the deals they had, the reason for the 4 star rating is because they didnt have what we were looking for. But great place!

Cant really find things on the webpage. I was looking for local inventory. I found phone numbers for local stores but no one answered any number i called. Waste of time. Found what I was looking for much cheaper at a store that would answer the phone.

Horrible experience. I went to the Gastonia store 2 days in a row to try to renew my credit card with them. First day they had one person behind the counter and a line waiting. Second day the store was empty. I told the person behind the counter Id like to reapply for a game stop credit card. She tells me that it can only be done online. The website says apply online or in store shes like well I dont know what to tell you. I walk out. Im done with that store. There are other places to shop!!

This GameStop consists of nothing but friendly staff. They’re usually well stocked and even if they’re not, all.. and I mean ALL of the employees are very knowledgeable about the games or mercy you may be looking for.Kandice helped me on my particular visit this morning. She was very kind and made it a point to find the figures I was trying to preorder. She offered inviting conversation and was an absolute delight.10/10 would recommend this GameStop for anybody in the surrounding areas. I have never had a bad experience here.

Don’t expect to go in there and NOT be upselled on things you don’t want. Cashier sneakily tried to add their game protection option for an additional $2 hoping I wouldn’t notice. She mentioned it, but still, would have been nice to have been asked first.

Brian and Jeff are fantastic. Competitive prices with Gamers Alley for sure. It Can be a hit or miss on specifics. Controllers are a bit over priced. Theyd have a better chance at selling controllers if they had specials deals on them which they never do. They currently have buy 2 get 1 free preowned games Xbox and PS. Must pay for any membership. Lots of Marvel!

Some GameStop stores provide a better experience than average, and this is one of them. Big and very well stocked, the employees are enthusiastic and know a lot about their subject matter. They try to sell, as Im sure they have to, but their sales pitches have always been honest and aimed towards what I am actually looking for. I live farther from Gastonia now, but I have started to go out if my way to visit this store versus others closer to home.

Normally it’s great but I didn’t get anything the last time I was in there because there was only one person working in the whole store and he spent what felt like 10 minutes talking to another customer I guess he knew before I got tired of waiting to pay and just put my stuff back and left.

I visited there a while ago. The people were very knowledgeable and gave great advice on what I was looking for. Store was well stocked. Will visit there again when I am in that area.

Nice store but the staff seemed a bit disorganized when people started lining up because someone had a complicated return. I got that it was a complicated customer, but it still affected my experience.

This location has very knowledgeable staff. I have not been able a question staff was not able to answer. When stock on the floor was out, a staff member checked in the store inventory. When it was out of stock at their store, she looked up another location having what I was looking for.

If they dont have it they will order it.

Pretty big selection of toys and games. They had a 4 for 10 deal on Xbox 360 games but it was for games priced 4.99 or less and that didnt have a huge selection in that price range. Cashier was friendly and helpful

Bought an Xbox one there two weeks ago refurbished and immediately had problems. I was fed up with the system after taking hours and hours to try and fix every problem I had. I walked in the store today hoping for an exchange with in 30 days and Jay made that process so painless. He recommended I exchange it for an Xbox one S and its been flawless. Awesome customer service

They have everything from games kind of high but their pricing is better than anywhere else cuz you can trade your games for new games or credit Ingham says anything to do with gaming you can trade 4 credits or cash

There is this once girl that is always super nice, and very cool, great sales rep.

Beware when returning games. Check your receipt before you leave. They will try to shortchange you. Also, beware when trading. They will give you pennies for your game and charge Dollars when they resell. This is like a used car lot for video games.

At this very moment Im standing in the store since 3:05 .its now 3:25 and out of a staff of 4 no one has greeted me and although Ive paced back and forth the counter look at the NINTENDO SWITCH accessories Im still being ignored as if Im completely invisible. I guess the black( Ive been the only black customer here for 30 minutes now ) guy has to wait until all the white customers have their needs met . I was here to buy two Xbox ones and a ninteNin switch but I guess gamestGa doesnt want my money so illIjyst go to Walmart if I could take back the one star I gave I would

Requested a new Xbox 1 with an extra controller. Was told about a sale, warranty, and other perks. Hook it up, next day it wouldnt work. Come to find out everything was preowned. Had to back twice over it not working. 2 faulty USB cables. The hundreds I dropped, I should have had no difficulties whatsoever. And the Gastonia location does not know how to answer their phones.
