This place has been around since I was a kid and its a great place to pick up something for around the house and below the hardware there is a small engine repair shop that works on lawn mowers and weekenders and leaf blowers

They wouldnt give us the time of day!Pretty much rude! Never ever will go back there!

I was looking for an old small engine part for my antique welding machine. Looked everywhere,and they had it new in the box in stock. Dont get better than that.

Although I was not able to find the part for my oven, the lady there provided me an on line site that the store uses after trying to find a local store which she was shocked the other store wanted to charge fifty dollars more than the on line price. Service! I have had my lawn mower serviced there, East Gastonia Hardware for more than twenty years.

I called to see what type blades fit my mower. Teansfered to a nice VERY HELPFUL man in the mower dept who told me he also sharpens blades if I bring the mower to him. If not he has the new blade. I will be going there as soon as I make some ramps to fit my truck bed.

I miss the original owners, they were always so friendly and helpful. Always had a smile on their face.

Great lil mom pop hardware store friendly staff they been around many years helpd me out last month nute before they closed with car key that was needed to b made right when they were walking out the door to close for the day Ill go back to them anytime I need sum quick hardware or keys to b made

Very unfriendly almost to the point of being rude....Glad I dont live in this area or have to come here again. If I wasnt in a hurry I would have left.
