Theres a massive sell going on, and Im in a rush. I had no idea what I was looking for. The lady that worked there Sunday at around noon helped me find just what I needed. Kudos to her. Store is very clean and I know where to go if I need help finding that special outfit. Or gift.

Clean store with a decent variety of clothes but catering more towards women clothing. Employees were helpful. This location was not very good busy so easy to run in and out. Always seems to be running a sale. It is located next to Dollar General, the map sometimes shows out on 36.

Bealls is going out of business as I write this (Dec 2019). But that being said the cashier explained they are just changing their name. I was VERY disappointed at the signs all over the place exclaiming major discounts and clearances but when you get to the register they are not applied properly. Then a sign at the counter, theyll point it out to you and what feels like the 15+ exclusions to their storewide clearance. Which in effect exempts 70% of the store. It really makes you feel duped. I wont be going back no matter what the name.Edit: almost a year later. They are still going out of business. (Really just a name change at some point in time) So tired of companies using this scam to drum up business. Bealls has lost my respect even more since the original writing of this review.

So many of the employees there are great at their jobs! I love the new look. Go see it!

Staff is very nice and friendly but the selection is just too sad. The store is very small as it is and then they move pack the racks and have it so messy that I wouldnt even shop most of the store. I am not a big Bealls shopper but since it is basically the only store to shop in Gatesville, I tried it out a couple times(left empty handed every time). The clothing racks were so disorganized and full that I couldnt even shop them. I have worked in a few retail stores and I would never expect customers to shop a store that messy. Another thing that caused me to leave empty handed (which is rare when Im shopping) was that the CLEARANCE B2G1 FREE rack was half clearance and half SALE items, there was no separation of the two differences and the sign attached to the 4way was not marked to only have certain bars on sale and certain bars on clearance. This is VERY important in retail sales as it causes people to get confused and instead of going back to dig for the right item to match your B2G1 FREE sale, you give up and leave with nothing. This is hurting their sales significantly. I see the parking lot very empty and I think having a clean and properly signed store helps TREMENDOUSLY. I hope to see some improvements if I give this location another chance before moving out of town.

Great sales & wonderful products for our small town of Gatesville. No need to go to Temple or Waco, can usually find what you need in quality clothing & more.

Donit like designers taste . Give coupons then they cant be used for anything

Very cluttered and hard to find what you are looking for. The salespeople were all very friendly but very busy. The store is always overflowing with merchandise. I never feel comfortable in this store.

They dont honor coupons or sale ads and if they do its with an attitude. The manager was actually extremely rude and refused my $10 birthday coupon because the things I was going to buy were already on sale. I will drive to another town before going back to Gatesville Bealls!!

Never did get waited on, stood in line behind one person for 15 min. There were several employees just wandering around so I had to leave, wanted to purchase 3 blouses.

I am never greeted anymore. I am never told thank you have a nice day when I leave. I wanted to buy my daughter a graduation present and was standing at jewlery counter looking.A lady looked straight at me and walked to back near shoes. When I went back there she started following me. I turned and looked straight at her again. And she started acting busy. Big mistake I have money but will not waste my time or energy at this store. I used to get ok service. I will drive into another town to do my shopping from now on. And thats sad I love my community.

I get frustrated Everytime I walk into Bealls. I never know what prices are going to be at checkout and so usually leave without anything. I leave asking myself why I even walked into the store. IT ISNT WORTH IT!
