Easy in and out for a semi truck. Clean and well kept Walmart too. I don’t know if overnight parking would be allowed but no problem with taking a break and shop.

Finally, great draft beer, with my favorite Schlotzskys Texan, great staff.

My one star is for the pick-up only. When I received my pick-up notification, it stated that my order could be picked up until 11:00PM. NOT THE CASE !!!Was there 9:30PM, they were calling someone from pick-up service to come to service center and I had a few other things to get, 6 other items. Was told to do that and come back. While picking up some milk, a lady came to me and asked me if I was for pick-up. She would talk to me up front. There, I was told pick-up closes at 8:00. I let them look at what my phone showed, trying to find my order number since their system wouldnt pull it up. They did try to help me and said they would put a note for the next day that I would pick it up. The next morning at 8:17, there was a message saying my order had been canceled due to not being picked up. Did not see the message until that evening when I was back once again. Could not make it by any other time and it was an order they would not deliver even though it had been delivered before. If pick-up hours are going to be different, it isnt the customers fault that the message still tells us we can pick-up until eleven in the evening. Walmart pick-up ... second time to use and second time to have a problem.

My tires blew (2 of them) the other day and went there for cheapo tires. I told them im unbelievably broke and that i couldnt do the roadside, hazard, or routine balance packages. They said they wouldnt do it because I had 2 different sizes. Then decided that they could after 2 hours. When it came time to pay, they charged me for 3 tires, not just the 2 they put on and they even charged me for all 3 expensive packages. So instead of $110 or so, I was forced to pay over $300. Now instead of paying rent like I had planned, im being evicted. Thanks Walmart.

The Auto Center is a rip off. I took my car in for an oil change and purchased Mobil 1 premium oil and a Mobil 1 filter from them. They charged me full price for a synthetic oil change, ($49.99) even though I had purchased the oil and filter from them. The oil change ended up costing me over $80.00. Ill never take my car there again for anything.

Walmart has completely killed small business all over the country. I put five stars because I know and live around the employees.

Fairly clean. Staff wasnt very friendly. Nobody would smile. Was looking for something and had two employees walk by, never asked if I needed assistance. Lots of green meat in fridge section that needs to be removed. Kinda 😥

Its like any other Walmart, low prices for cheap stuff. Plenty of stuff to go around in the food section, worst thing about it is the location of the card racks. They sit in a self checkout so Im usually always sitting behind people with a full basket going slow just to get to the cards. Cant just walk into it either as there is still some expectation to social distance. Wish they would move them to the toy section or give them a new rack not in a checkout line. Also someone keeps buying all the good packs before I can get my hands on them. Im coming for you.

Review of Automotive service: Service Manager TracyHad new BFG KO2s installed on my truck. Drove for a few days and something wasnt right with the tires. Took it back and they rebalanced the tires and I drove away. Something still wasnt right after the rebalance. Took it back and they determined that the tires were out of round (factory defect) Tracy ordered new tires and got me rolling again in a few days with new tires. Great service!!!!

Found what I had been looking for after 6 different stores in the surrounding area. Still dislike the customer service at everyone of them. They are all rude. Act like you are bothering them if you ask them if they know where some is. Then they never have registers open. Im going to start doing curbside. Make them walk the store, bag it, and bring it to my car.

Quick in and out is ok but I do not like having to cash myself out. I dont work there and Id Im paying full price then I want a cashier. Thank you

Gatesville Walmart is super clean and organized. It’s consistently busy but never crowded except Christmas time. Great employer for our community.

All was great. Found everything I had on my list.

Waited 20 minutes at the jewelry counter to get a package of nose rings, Had at least 10 employees walk by and not one asked if i needed assistance.Decided to try back the next day to see if the store is less busy on a sunday, same thing, Had someone call over the speakers 3 times waited 30 minutes this time and still no help. Ridiculous, If the jewelry counter is closed stop wasting customers time by making them wait for something as simple and cheap as a package of nose rings .

There are not enough cashiers and employees. Selection and price is good. There is basically no customer service.

Tonight these were the rudest employees in a WalMart that I have ever had to deal with. Didnt offer help and when I asked for assistance with an item the young man was very rude and kept mumbling under his breath. Then when I get to the checkout, self checkout I should, the lady there was rude. She acted like I was her main inconvenience and I told her that I could go to another store. I would love to know who to speak to about my horrible experience

I shopped at this Walmart because it was really my only option in Gatesville. Nothing against Walmart, Im just not a big fan of the produce section of the store and since I was shopping for groceries, I would have liked another option.The store was really clean and they did have dividers at the entrance and exit so people coming in all walk on a different side from those exiting. Its opposite of how we drive on the roads (but made sense to where their cash registers are located) so of course I went the wrong way.Their produce section was typical of a Walmart but what really impressed me was the addition of some popular vegetarian brands such as Life Cuisine - Meatless. So while the produce did not impress, the frozen food section did. And, if Im being fair to the establishment, I did visit 2 weeks after the area had very severe snow storms so the decline in produce could be a result of the recent storms. I would visit again when Im in the area.

The problem I have with Walmart now is that theyre closed.

Only show in town(Gatesville)!Wonder if Corporate Walmart ever walks through their stores as a customer......product knowledge very shallow. no on-floor help when needed, takes three to do the job of one. Doubt if employees know what the mission of Walmart is....worry what would happen if we had a war and really needed, functional bysinesses.

Other than a few strange looks from the locals, it was a very clean establishment. Couldnt locate a candy aisle, but we found some on some end caps.

Overall a consistently good experience with this Walmart. The cashiers are especially friendly. This is a clean and well stocked store.

Great little store. Doesnt stock as many items as some of the bigger stores further out of the area but think its a nicer place to visit than going to the stores in Killeen. Basically I have a choice of going to lampasas or Killeen and I choose lampasas

Hate pharmacy! Always a hassle. Employees are rude. The pharmacists are nice but not the rest. I run out of my meds for days before they manage to get them filled. Then try to charge outrages prices until we fight them about our insurance. Finally get them for the $10, like they are supposed to be.

Went right after the winter storm hit Texas. The staff were very friendly and helped as best they could with limited products.

An elder lady fell and it took 10 minutes for anyone to assist her. She then had a medical episode and it took a stranger helping her and asking where a walmart associate was to get additional help.

I visited today to do my grocery shopping with my toddler and infant. The regular lines were full and I had a crying baby so I used the self checkout with a belt. I asked a passing cashier is they could get someone to get me an empty cart since there was no way I could put the bagged groceries back in my cart with my two kids. His response was, Everyone is busy and there arent any extra people. Thankfully the lady behind me took out her few things and gave me her empty cart. I usually have a good experience here everytime I shop but I guess today wasnt my day. Talk about poor customer service.

Im giving Walmart a 5 start review!!! I cant believe Im doing this. Its because they make sure customers are wearing their masks. Ive been in some grocery stores lately that had at least 8 people in there with no masks. Im a caregiver I need to be real careful. For myself and my client. People it doesnt hurt you so please please please wear your mask for the sake of our beautiful world we live on. This virus is bad juju. Things arent getting better, its getting worse. Were not over that hump yet deaths are still going up. Wash your hands wear your masks. Lets kick this virus butt.

This is like the 4th time that a Managers pick was changed for a short time but was charged the regular full price or a totally different price never the price that was advertised, so I started taking pictures of the item and the price along with the new price so that the cashier doesnt have to call someone to go find the item and then come back to tell the cashier the price. I was told that it was the stockers responsibility to make sure the price is correct. I dont agree with that at all..... If a manager made a choice to mark down a item I think its their responsibility to make sure it scans the correct price at the checkout.. Another thing our Walmart never has what I need when u go shopping.... When I ask questions from a certain department a associate who dont work that section at all is sent to help me but doesnt have a clue about that department.... Then if I go to a department to buy something and ask for help finding it I get told that this Walmart never sold it to begin with. I then 8nform them that I had purchased the item at this Walmart, I then get asked r u sure u got it from this Walmart?..... I look at them because they think Im stupid or something. Gatesville is a small town we only have 1 dang Walmart!!!!! Its really rediculous and if I could I would go to a different Walmart ...... When my mother was alive over 15 years ago she used to go to Waco, Temple, or Copperas Cove instead of our Gatesville Walmart.....

This hair salon place inside Walmart is totally lazy and in professional I asked for a walk in which they do but told me they were booked until 3:30 well as they are telling me this I look around them and see absolutely no one in any of the chairs. so I went shopping for 45 mins after I was done I look again inside the hair salon and still no one sitting in any of the chairs ... how pathetic

Gateville is probably the best Wally World in central Texas, its just weird how people were staring at me, my wife, sister and mom but the employees are nice and helpful. They actually want to help and het their customers on their way. We drive from Killeen to Gatesville just to hit Wal-Mart. Oh they also have stuff Killeen, heights, cove and temple dont.

Im from out of town. This is what a small city Walmart should be like. Friendly, slow paced, and nearby.

Selection is horrible compared to most walmarts. The only walmart I know of that you can spend your entire shopping trip without staff contact.

The produce looks old and or premature oh, the flowers are wilted, the supplies were way down, the place needs a revamp going to restock ASAP. Customer service was really great though, and everything was fairly clean. Based on the worlds current events, I cant complain too much, because this pretty much describes everywhere. But this is an honest review.

This location has a fuel station, but its only cheap if u buy regular grade gas. It jumps 40 cents btwn grades, so premium is way more expensive than other places. Inside the store is completely typical for Walmart.

I was a few minutes late for pickup. (It was my first pickup order and I didn’t know it closed at 8:00 pm). When I asked about my order, a lady said “No, you are a few minutes late.” A man named Sean came to my rescue! I told them I was from 30 miles away. He said, “I don’t mind getting her order. Just a minute.” He retrieved my pickup order and was very kind. The world needs more People like Sean. He is an employee who took care of the customer. Hooray for Sean!

The store is cleaned regularly. The bathrooms are clean when I go in. I havent seen them dirty. Most of the cashiers are friendly.
