I have used this place twice. Which is two times too many. First time was to get work done on a wheeled weeder eater that would not start. It worked once after that supposed repair. The second time was to have some work done on a lawn tractor that would turn over but not start. I was told I needed a new carburetor. After I brought it home, the mower stopped working in the middle of its first use. Decided to use another shop. That repairman said that the carburetor was indeed the issue, but it did not look as if it had been replaced by the first shop - which is something I had to get ordered and paid to have installed. .The owner of that second shop mentioned to me that he was aware of a lot of complaints about shoddy workmanship by Friends Small Engine Repair. This is a small town. Bad news travels well.There are only two small engine repair shops in my town. Do not use Friends.I am aware that a repair shop is not going to get the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, but Friends looks like a scrap yard full of lawn equipment that supposedly is to be repaired.

I took blades to be sharpen. As he was sharpening them he tells me one is bend to take a hammer to it. Well bottom it couldnt be fixed. He knew this but still sharpen the blade to get the money. Well I spend $15 for nothing, had to order new blades. Will never go back!!!
